[00:01] News at 10:00.

[00:04] >> New at 10:00. The country,

[00:05] even the world watching is

[00:07] Charlie Kirk accused assassin

[00:08] made his first in-person court

[00:09] appearance today. So we asked a

[00:12] body language expert to break

[00:13] down what he saw. Thanks for

[00:15] joining us. I'm Heidi Hatch.

[00:17] >> And I'm Mark Bell. Tyler

[00:18] Robinson showed up in formal

[00:20] clothes today. No visible

[00:21] restraints on him for an hours

[00:22] long hearing. We did not hear

[00:25] from him personally, but

[00:26] cameras captured his facial

[00:27] expressions and his demeanor as

[00:28] he sat in court.

[00:30] >> David Ochoa asked a body

[00:32] language expert about what he

[00:34] noticed during stand out to him.

[00:38] >> Well, his, he says his

[00:40] Robinson's apparent lack of

[00:42] concern. He says it's got him

[00:45] locked into this case, and he's

[00:46] very interested to see what we

[00:48] learn about Robinson as it

[00:49] continues on moving forward. At

[00:53] his first public court

[00:55] appearance, a well dressed

[00:57] Tyler Robinson had a little

[00:58] smile or two while talking with

[01:00] his lawyers.

[01:00] >> That's the only thing I

[01:02] looked at and went, he

[01:03] shouldn't be doing that.

[01:04] >> Scott Rouse is a renowned

[01:06] body language expert who trains

[01:07] law enforcement attorneys and

[01:08] is also an interrogator. He

[01:09] says Robinson, laughing, wasn't

[01:11] a good look for someone who's

[01:12] accused of murder. He tells

[01:13] attorneys it's okay for their

[01:15] clients to have a pleasant look

[01:16] on their face, but this might

[01:18] have been too far.

[01:19] >> I don't know what could be

[01:21] found funny during that

[01:21] situation. It would be a little

[01:23] bit tough for me to think

[01:24] something up, but apparently

[01:26] they're trying to, you know,

[01:27] alleviate some of the stress

[01:28] for him.

[01:29] >> Rouse also noticed something

[01:30] when Robinson and his attorneys

[01:31] interacted. He says their body

[01:33] language suggests they don't

[01:34] know each other very well.

[01:35] >> Their body language isn't

[01:37] the type where you want to get

[01:39] close to them or you're

[01:39] touching. They're not leaning

[01:41] the way you should lean. If

[01:42] they knew him really well, I

[01:43] don't see any any connection

[01:45] with them yet.

[01:45] >> All in all, Rouse didn't see

[01:48] much out of the ordinary for a

[01:49] proceeding like this, but he

[01:50] did see at least one thing

[01:52] missing the grief muscle.

[01:53] >> These two muscles pulled

[01:54] together, and this muscle pulls

[01:55] down. I don't see any of that.

[01:57] I don't see any grief muscle

[01:58] that lets us know he's really,

[02:00] really worried about anything

[02:01] and no concern.

[02:02] >> Now, Rouse says, you can't

[02:03] really make any distinctions

[02:05] about his personality at this

[02:06] point in time, but he did

[02:10] compare him and Bryan Kohberger.

[02:12] He says Robinson moves a lot

[02:14] more than Kohberger, who Rou
