FEMA’s Shift from Disaster Response to Immigration Support

There’s a lot of discussion about FEMA’s response speed and effectiveness. While the overall response has been criticized as lackluster, the key point is that FEMA has been repurposed by the Biden-Harris administration into an arm of what some describe as an illegal immigration operation. Originally created to respond to emergencies, FEMA now functions as a welfare agency for what is called an engineered emergency—flying unlimited illegal immigrants into America.

This migrant crisis has led to billions of dollars being funneled to support migrants, which is cited as the reason FEMA claims to have run out of money. Migrants reportedly receive free phones, hotels, housing, and other benefits and are distributed throughout the country, regardless of their legal status. Even those legally allowed entry are often processed through a controversial app system.

The CBP One App: A Gateway for Migrants

The CBP One app, designed by US Customs and Border Protection (CBP), is available for download by anyone. It is described as a seamless tool for migrants to gain access to the country. The app supports multiple languages including Spanish, French, and Chinese, and requires users to log in securely via login.gov.

Government employees, aid workers, and nonprofits assist migrants in navigating the app and the asylum process. The asylum system offers several canned justifications for entry, allowing migrants to claim asylum and delay court hearings for years—sometimes up to a decade. The Biden administration’s policy reportedly does not prioritize deporting migrants who fail to appear in court.

This app and its associated support system are criticized as a sham, likened to a travel booking platform for foreigners to enter the U.S. easily, while American citizens allegedly receive less attention.

FEMA Whistleblowers and Hurricane Helen Response Failures

FEMA whistleblowers have revealed alleged misuse of taxpayer funds and withholding of pre-disaster aid for Hurricane Helen. First responders, service members, and hotels reportedly waited for orders that never arrived. Matt Gates criticized Alejandra Mayorkas for FEMA’s waste and mismanagement, noting that service members deployed to North Carolina sat idle waiting for FEMA to act.

Gates also accused the use of FEMA funds by NGOs to buy airline tickets for migrants instead of disaster relief. The aftermath of Hurricane Helen left many Americans without food, water, medicine, or assistance, with Gates demanding answers by October 11th.
