[00:00] All right, everybody. Welcome to the

[00:01] Charlie Kirk Show. This is Andrew

[00:04] Kvette, executive producer of this show,

[00:06] joined by Blake Nef, our not so secret

[00:10] secret weapon.

[00:13] You're going to love this eventually.

[00:14] You are going to love it. Um,

[00:17] so I want to start with just a praise

[00:20] report from last night at Montana State

[00:23] University where the Turning Point tour,

[00:27] we call it this is the turning point,

[00:29] campus tour, had its next stop. And

[00:33] this, look at these images for you

[00:36] watching uh at home or on the stream. It

[00:39] this this place is packed in Montana.

[00:42] This is not a population center, Blake.

[00:44] And the amount of energy in this room

[00:47] was so extraordinary. They were

[00:50] chanting, they were jumping up and down.

[00:52] And then Vive Ramaswami uh you know left

[00:55] his campaign in Ohio by the way where

[00:57] he's uh attempting to be the next

[00:59] governor of the state of Ohio to come

[01:02] speak with our students which just again

[01:03] shows the amount of commitment that the

[01:06] friends in the movement have for what

[01:08] we're doing at Turning Point. Um let's

[01:11] go ahead and play cut 88. And just to

[01:14] give you a small sample of just how

[01:18] rockous this crowd was at Montana State

[01:20] University.

[01:33] Charlieie

[01:43] Charlie.

[01:44] [Applause]

[01:51] >> Thank you all for joining us and we'll

[01:53] get started.

[01:54] >> You wonder if that could be the uh maybe

[01:57] that'll just be our catch-all positive

[01:59] chant almost like USA. Yeah. You know, I

[02:01] could I could imagine just seeing that

[02:03] break out years into the future just as

[02:05] a good

[02:06] >> I totally have. I I'll never forget the

[02:08] first time I heard the Charlie chant. It

[02:10] was actually at Politicon in that

[02:11] amazing uh jank uh moment that has gone

[02:15] viral.

[02:15] >> Oh, where he went nuts. Oh yeah, the the

[02:18] viral clip. And then Charlie walks out

[02:20] of the venue. I'm with him. Actually,

[02:23] Erica was there, too. And uh it was all

[02:27] these young guys just go, "Charlie,

[02:29] Charlie." And I remember going like,

[02:30] "Wow,

[02:31] >> he's he's lucky he's got a nice

[02:32] chantable name.

[02:33] >> He's got a great chantable name. Andrew

[02:34] doesn't want

[02:36] >> Yeah. Blake's not going to work." No.

[02:38] No.

[02:38] >> So, but you know what this was for me,

[02:39] Blake? It was like a It was a clarifying

[02:41] moment because we've been through a lot

[02:42] in the last couple days and weeks.

[02:44] >> And there's been a lot of fixation on

[02:47] the who, right? The the like who killed

[02:49] Charlie? Well, you know, they've got the

[02:51] suspect. Okay? We feel really good about

[02:52] that case. It's very strong. Here's what

[02:54] I will say, though. What we need to make

[02:56] this about is the what

[02:59] >> and that is the the the fact that we are

[03:01] back on campus that we're talking about

[03:04] the ideas we're dialoguing with

[03:05] students. We're dialoguing about the

[03:08] fact that we should be having a dialogue

[03:10] that we should not be using violence

[03:12] that we should not be using political

[03:14] violence that we need to call that out

[03:16] and and basically root it out root and

[03:20] stem from this country because we're

[03:22] seeing these very disturbing trends. And

[03:25] that's what Turning Point is all that

[03:26] that is why you want to know why Turning

[03:28] Point is so important right now is

[03:30] because we have always been about the

[03:33] debate. We've always been about the

[03:34] dialogue. We've always been about having

[03:36] the conversation because that's what

[03:37] America is supposed to be about. And yet

[03:40] there's this really disturbing story

[03:42] that's coming out of Washington DC where

[03:44] a man is targeting is it was is has been

[03:48] discovered with explosives. The red mass

[03:51] talk about it.

[03:51] >> So all right. So, for those who don't

[03:53] know, the Red Mass is a thing that

[03:54] happens once a year around the start of

[03:56] the Supreme Court term. Uh, it has its

[03:59] roots in the Middle Ages. Uh, it's like

[04:01] a very formal thing that it's like a

[04:03] Catholic mass that's sort of dedicated

[04:06] to lawyers, which it's already a scary

[04:08] thing. You know, religious rituals and

[04:10] lawyers don't don't mix well. But

[04:12] anyway, it's a traditional thing. Get

[04:15] dressed up. And it's of course become a

[04:16] big deal because so many of the

[04:17] conservative Supreme Court justices uh

[04:20] in recent years have been Catholic. They

[04:22] often go to this service uh and then a

[04:24] lot of other Catholic lawyers will

[04:25] attend it as well.

[04:27] >> And so this man uh Louie Garry uh 41

[04:30] years old, he apparently was in a tent

[04:33] in front of the church when police

[04:35] arrived to clear the area because there

[04:37] were going to be a bunch of Supreme

[04:38] Court justices there. And then this guy

[04:41] clearly doesn't seem to have it all

[04:43] right be all right in the head cuz he's

[04:45] just got a tent in front of this church.

[04:47] And then when the police approach he

[04:48] says get away I have a bunch of

[04:50] explosive devices. They said over 200

[04:54] which sounded to me like did he have

[04:56] just a bunch of fireworks or something?

[04:57] But what it was is apparently they were

[04:59] all homemade. Uh they were vials of

[05:01] nitromemethane.

[05:03] Uh, and it appears he was basically

[05:05] making homemade Molotov cocktail type

[05:08] things that he told officers that the

[05:10] vials were intended to be used as

[05:12] grenades with rubber bands to secure the

[05:15] fuse. According to court records, uh, he

[05:18] was in possession of Molotov cocktails

[05:20] and modified bottle rockets covered with

[05:22] aluminum foil and treated in a pyrochnic

[05:26] solution. The devices appeared fully

[05:28] functional, so it seems. Uh he he said,

[05:31] "You might want to stay back and call

[05:33] the federales. I have explosives." Gary

[05:36] said. Now, we're fortunate. This guy

[05:38] just appears to have been pretty nuts.

[05:40] So, not really capable of pulling off a

[05:43] complicated attack scheme, but I think

[05:45] he's very indicative. Just last week, we

[05:47] had the sentencing of the attempted

[05:49] assassin of Brett Kavanaaugh. That guy

[05:52] was a lot more uh systematic in his

[05:55] approach. He figured out how can I, you

[05:58] know, how can I get a gun? How can I get

[05:59] an approach? He had like wire cutters

[06:01] and a knife and an all it was a serious

[06:04] very serious attempt very serious

[06:05] attempt flew across the country to do it

[06:07] and then would have done it except he

[06:09] had a failure of nerve when he saw

[06:11] federal agents outside Kavanaaugh's

[06:12] house turned himself in and then this

[06:14] federal judge says you know I feel bad

[06:16] for you because you'd have to go to a

[06:18] men's prison and now you say you're a

[06:20] transgender woman so I'm only going to

[06:22] give you eight years you've already

[06:23] served three you could be out you know

[06:25] three years from now and

[06:28] then when you know when even when his

[06:30] own lawyer said like like the judge got

[06:33] angry when someone referred to this as a

[06:34] political attack because judges aren't

[06:36] political. Judges aren't political.

[06:37] There's no there's no political agenda

[06:39] that could come into play when possibly

[06:40] doing one of these. And so, yeah, we're

[06:43] seeing this environment, this

[06:45] environment that people are marinating

[06:47] in because the left has used this, you

[06:50] know, they use the fascist word a lot,

[06:51] they use the Nazi word a lot. they

[06:54] really whip people up when they anytime

[06:56] there's these rulings related to things

[06:58] like child gender transitions

[07:01] um things like that they they won't say

[07:04] like oh this is a bad ruling they will

[07:06] say they're denying your existence they

[07:09] will say you they are trying to destroy

[07:11] your right to exist they're using this

[07:13] totalizing they're going to kill you

[07:15] rhetoric

[07:16] >> well and I you know this is why

[07:19] in the aftermath of what happened to

[07:21] Charlie it was so important that there

[07:23] was all of these accounts and a major

[07:25] hat tip to libs of TikTok. I certainly

[07:27] didn't have the the brain space to even

[07:29] do this. But I saw, you know, you go on

[07:31] Twitter, everybody's outing these people

[07:32] celebrating because ultimately that is a

[07:35] culture that's celebrating death, fet

[07:37] fetishizing political violence. And

[07:39] that's why I think it's important that

[07:41] that we were trying to get some of these

[07:42] people fired. I think that's completely

[07:44] >> we need a taboo on political

[07:47] assassination%. Also though, you need

[07:50] judges to not give lenient leniency to

[07:54] potential assassins. This is the the

[07:55] direct through line between these two

[07:57] cases is that you have leniency on an a

[08:00] potential assassin and then oh lo and

[08:02] behold, a week later this happens where

[08:04] a guy's sitting outside of where all the

[08:07] justices are going to be with

[08:09] explosives. Yeah, he's a looney looney

[08:11] tunes. He's crazy. But that you have to

[08:14] understand if you do not enforce the

[08:16] law, if you do not punish evildoers,

[08:18] society will fall apart.

[08:20] >> I love this headline. Uh NBC4 Washington

[08:22] had a tweet about this. A man who had

[08:25] vials of liquid uh was arrested outside

[08:28] the Impossible Paris was arrested

[08:29] outside the Cathedral of St. Matthew.

[08:31] And then it has the readers added a

[08:32] note. The vials of liquid were Molotov

[08:34] cocktails. It's one of the alltime

[08:36] great.

[08:36] >> It could have just been, you know, it

[08:37] could have been his Diet Coke, you know,

[08:39] >> all one of the all-time great um

[08:41] community notes on on X. Uh but yeah, I

[08:44] mean here here's the thing. We need to

[08:45] make sure that the evildoers are

[08:46] punished. We need to make sure the taboo

[08:48] remains in full force, full strength.

[08:50] And we and that's why people getting

[08:52] fired from their jobs is completely

[08:53] appropriate when you celebrate violence.

[08:55] When you act like a a vile, ghoulish

[08:58] person or when you're like Jimmy Kimmel

[09:00] and you try and lie about who's behind a

[09:03] certain attack and then you're going to

[09:04] double down on it, then yeah, you

[09:06] deserve consequences and you deserve the

[09:08] backlash because the taboo is import

[09:11] taboo is important and critical for our

[09:13] society. But more than that, we need

[09:14] actual consequences.
