Peter Schweizer's Institute and Its Corruption Research

The Government Accountability Institute, the research organization Peter Schweizer leads as president, became a recurring source for Charlie Kirk's coverage of alleged elite corruption spanning both parties. Schweizer's research, built through a team of researchers working over many months and grounded in corporate and financial records rather than anonymous sourcing, documented the Biden family's roughly $31 million in payments from Chinese businessmen with direct ties to China's Ministry of State Security, including one figure Hunter Biden's own laptop referred to as the super chairman. Schweizer's separate book Profiles in Corruption applied the same forensic approach to progressive politicians specifically, examining Kamala Harris, Bernie Sanders, and Elizabeth Warren alongside Biden with more than 1,100 footnotes documenting how expanded government authority had translated into financial benefits for their own families. His most recent research, detailed in The Invisible Coup, extended the institute's focus to demographic and cultural influence operations, arguing China had built an industrial-scale system using birthright citizenship to produce over a million eligible American voters raised and educated inside China by 2028, and separately identifying Chinese billionaires funding the American trans-rights movement while remaining silent about the same issues inside China itself, a pattern Schweizer argued reflected a deliberate strategy of destabilization rather than genuine ideological commitment.
