Commentator Candace Owens has claimed that a number of unrelated men photographed near the September 10 shooting of Charlie Kirk were wearing maroon shirts, which she argues suggests a coordinated color-of-the-day marker sometimes used to identify participants in organized operations. Owens says the pattern was noticed independently by other online researchers and, in her account, later gained attention alongside unrelated document releases and a social media post about historical military dress codes. The theory has not been confirmed by investigators and remains Owens's own interpretation of publicly circulated photos and footage. Other videos in this pool include Owens discussing Turning Point USA's public response to her request for an in-person meeting with Erika Kirk, in which the organization confirmed the request for dialogue had come directly from Kirk's widow.
