Candace Owens Breaks Internet With Hunter Biden Interview and Questions Erika Kirk CEO Video Authenticity

Categories: Investigation
May 18, 2026

Candace Owens announces an exclusive interview with Hunter Biden dropping this Thursday, comparing the rollout of Erika Kirk as Turning Point USA CEO to the COVID vaccine campaign. Owens challenges the authenticity of the video allegedly showing Charlie Kirk appointing his wife as successor, revealing that Turning Point USA showed footage exclusively to Daily Mail in a private screening rather than releasing it publicly. She also exposes a White House email controversy surrounding Erika Kirk's viral video after the White House shooting incident, and reveals connections between Paramount Tactical and Department of Defense payments. Owens frames the entire situation as institutional coordination similar to pandemic-era propaganda, with corporations, media, government, and political figures all pushing the same narrative while dismissing legitimate questions as conspiracy theories.

Hunter Biden Comes to Candace

Candace Owens opens the show with a stunning announcement: Hunter Biden sat down for an exclusive interview that will air Thursday. The trailer shows Biden discussing his past crack addiction, his father's pardon, the Charlie Kirk assassination, criticism of the Trump administration's Middle East policy, and even quotes from the Acts of John about suffering. Owens ranks this as potentially the second most consequential interview she's ever conducted, after Phil Tourney discussing the USS Liberty.

The interview came about serendipitously. Owens had previously attempted to reach Hunter Biden after seeing his refreshingly honest interview with Andrew Callahan, where he owned being a crackhead and criticized figures like George Clooney and Jake Tapper. At a recent dinner, when asked what interview she'd most want to do, Owens mentioned Hunter Biden. The person she was speaking with connected them, and the interview happened within a week.

Erika Kirk is the COVID Vaccine

Owens presents an extended analogy comparing the rollout of Erika Kirk as Turning Point USA CEO to the COVID vaccine campaign. She outlines the parallels: both involved a global emergency creating uncertainty and fear, a star being born overnight (Erika Kirk and Dr. Fauci), things getting weird quickly (TikTok dancing nurses versus Erika's "evil eyes"), influencers and celebrities telling people to accept it, corporations offering incentives, the "safe and effective" mantra becoming "grieving widow," and an unholy alliance of journalists, government, military, and other interests colluding to push acceptance.

According to Owens, the campaign has now reached the stage where brave people ask questions and get destroyed for it, the government gets caught in lies, and experts diagnose questioners as mentally ill. She references an actual study titled "The Impact of the Dark Triad Personality Traits on COVID-19 Vaccination Uptake" that suggested people who refused vaccination scored high in psychopathy, Machiavellianism, and narcissism.

The Daily Mail Private Screening

After 46 days of requests to release the video of Charlie Kirk allegedly appointing Erika as his successor, Turning Point USA took a different approach. Rather than publicly releasing the footage, they arranged an exclusive private screening for Daily Mail journalist Charlie Spearing. His article claimed to put the scandal to rest, but never embedded the actual video.

The article quoted anonymous Turning Point allies and board members saying it was always clear Charlie intended for Erika to lead, citing personal financial and estate planning discussions. However, Owens points out that despite supposedly making this intention clear repeatedly, Charlie Kirk never put it in his corporate will. She was told Erika inherited $10 million but was not named as CEO successor in any legal documents.

The stated reason for not releasing the video publicly is donor privacy—specifically that the donor who asked the succession question doesn't want her identity revealed. Owens finds this absurd, noting that Turning Point already edited and released the audio for Erika's walkout music at AmericaFest, and asking why they can't simply edit out the donor's question and face while showing Charlie's response.

Blake Neff Gets Ratioed

Blake Neff attempted to defend the Daily Mail article by arguing the video isn't actually needed to prove Charlie wanted Erika to succeed him, since everyone who knew Charlie well supposedly knew this. When called out for the poor response and ratio, Nef quoted scripture about the narrow road that leads to life, positioning himself as speaking truth despite unpopularity.

Owens responds by pointing out the absurdity of the situation: Erika posted video of herself kissing Charlie's dead hands and hanging over his body, the organization sold merchandise at the site where he died, but now this video crowning her CEO is supposedly too private to release. She notes that if the video truly existed and proved their claims, it would have been released immediately rather than shown in a secret screening to a single journalist.

White House Email Controversy

Owens previously broke a story about an email sent approximately one hour after the White House shooting incident, describing Erika Kirk's "I want to go home" video as their "emotional asset" and outlining strategy to boost it across platforms. The email was allegedly sent to White House surrogates with instructions to make it the number one video overnight.

Axios reporter Mark Caputo tweeted a White House statement claiming the White House military office had no knowledge of the communications and didn't authorize, draft, or publish the content. Andrew Kolvet, Blake Neff, and Graham Allen celebrated this as proof Owens had been caught in a hoax.

However, Owens noticed the White House response was oddly specific, repeatedly emphasizing the White House military office specifically. She had her producer email the White House, receiving the exact same response in four and a half minutes. She then sent a follow-up email asking for clarity: was the White House claiming no email was sent at all, or just that the military office specifically didn't send it? She copied multiple White House officials including Ryan Ripian and has been ghosted since, suggesting the email exists but wasn't sent by that specific office.

Paramount Tactical's Department of Defense Payments

Owens reveals that Gary Melton of Paramount Tactical received significant payments from the Department of Defense in September, the same month Charlie Kirk died. On September 24, he received $39,000 for individual equipment, and on September 29, he received $151,000 for night vision equipment—totaling $190,000.

She finds this suspicious for several reasons: the timing coincides with Charlie Kirk's death, Paramount Tactical became an obscure platform that Brian Harpole chose for interviews, Turning Point USA heavily promoted and defended him, and he doesn't manufacture his own equipment. Owens questions why the Department of Defense would purchase through a third-party reseller rather than directly from manufacturers, and notes that another figure connected to the situation also received a major DoD contract around the same time.

Turning Point Chapters Leaders Being Paid to Stay

Owens reveals that Turning Point USA is now paying chapter leaders to remain with the organization, comparing this to corporations offering free Krispy Kreme donuts, beer, marijuana joints, Super Bowl tickets, and other incentives to convince people to take the COVID vaccine. She presents this as evidence that people are trying to leave en masse but are being financially incentivized to stay.

The Path Forward

Owens maintains that the institutional coordination behind Erika Kirk mirrors pandemic-era propaganda, with the same playbook being deployed. She commits to continuing pressure on Turning Point USA to release the unedited video of Charlie Kirk's alleged appointment, noting that she won't accept appeals to authority from journalists or experts. She frames this as fighting an empire of lies and emphasizes she's done voting until the Charlie Kirk assassination is properly investigated, criticizing the Trump administration, Eric and Don Trump, Lara Trump, Kash Patel, and JD Vance for their roles in what she sees as a betrayal.
