Candace Owens Exposes Joe Biden's Charlottesville Myth and His Shadiest History on Race

Candace Owens dismantled Joe Biden's entire 2020 presidential campaign launch, which rested on the Charlottesville "very fine people" myth. She highlighted the stark irony: Biden, who authored the three-strikes bill that devastated Black America, positioned himself as a racial justice hero. Owens explained how the mainstream media perpetuates false narratives by omitting Trump's actual words condemning white supremacists and Nazis. She also criticized Bernie Sanders as a "weak candidate" who immediately backed Hillary Clinton after the Democratic Party rigged the 2016 primary against him, calling him the "ultimate capitalist" selling socialism while enjoying his millionaire status from book deals, all while promoting policies that have already failed Black communities through welfare experiments.

The Irony of Biden's Campaign Launch on the Charlottesville Myth

Candace Owens dissected the foundation of Joe Biden's 2020 presidential campaign, which centered entirely on the Charlottesville "very fine people" narrative. She pointed out the striking irony: Joe Biden possessed what she described as "the shadiest history of all of the candidates running when it comes to race," ranking second only to Hillary Clinton in problematic racial policy legacy.

Owens emphasized that Biden, who authored and forcefully advocated for the three-strikes bill—legislation that "negatively impacted Black America"—now attempted to position himself as "a hero for Black America." She called this transformation "a joke" and attributed it to a fundamental belief held by establishment politicians: "they believe that they can control the narrative."

According to Owens, these politicians assume "that Black people will not research things on their own independently," and when white people do research, "they know that that is a fault—it's just a false narrative." This strategic manipulation of information, she argued, depends on media complicity and public ignorance.

The Truth About What Trump Actually Said at Charlottesville

Owens addressed the core of the Charlottesville controversy directly: "Trump never said that." She explained that media outlets and politicians like Biden consistently "take out the portion where he said that he was not referring to the white supremacists or the Nazis." This selective editing transformed Trump's actual statement into a weapon against him.

She stressed the critical importance of alternative media platforms: "this is why it's so important for us again to continue to have platforms outside of the mainstream media narrative because the mainstream media wants to lie and they want to give a breath to lies for people like Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton to go out and spread to the masses."

The Charlottesville myth, in Owens' analysis, represented a perfect case study in how establishment media shapes public perception through deliberate misrepresentation rather than honest reporting.

Bernie Sanders: The Weak Candidate Running on Empty Promises

When asked about Bernie Sanders and his campaign, Owens didn't hold back: "I thought it was kind of a joke." She explained that Sanders was running "only because literally he has proven to be such a weak candidate in the past."

Owens recounted Sanders' contradictory actions during the 2016 election cycle: "this is a guy that stood up and said that the problems were corporate America, the problems were the rich, the problems were the elite—and then when he lost to Hillary immediately backed her." This betrayal of his stated principles, she argued, disqualified him from serious consideration.

"He's not strong enough to be president of the United States if he can't even stand up to the Democrat Party when they rigged an election against him," Owens stated bluntly. Sanders' failure to fight back against documented Democratic Party manipulation revealed a fatal weakness in character and conviction.

Beyond the weakness issue, Owens identified a second major problem: Sanders was "running a platform largely on race," which "seems to be a joke when he's someone that is preaching socialism."

The Ultimate Capitalist Selling Socialism to Make Everyone Poor

Owens delivered one of her sharpest critiques when describing Bernie Sanders as "the ultimate capitalist." She noted the glaring contradiction: Sanders "loves being a millionaire, loves having made millions off of his book and yet be selling socialism which is just a means for everybody to become poor."

This hypocrisy—enjoying the fruits of capitalism while advocating for its destruction—formed the centerpiece of Owens' argument against Sanders' credibility. A millionaire author profiting from the free market system while campaigning to dismantle that same system represented the height of political cynicism.

Owens then connected socialist theory to practical reality in America: "socialist policies have been experimenting on America already via the Black community and welfare." In her view, the welfare state functioned as a laboratory for socialist policies, and the results in Black communities demonstrated socialism's destructive nature.

"He's poisonous, his rhetoric is poisonous," Owens concluded about Sanders. However, she predicted that despite his campaign, the outcome was predetermined: "similar to the 2016 cycle I do not see the Democratic Party supporting him—they've already picked their candidate. In 2016 it was Hillary and in 2020 it's clearly Joe Biden."

This final observation tied together Owens' broader thesis: the Democratic establishment controls the narrative, selects the candidates, and manipulates both the media and the primary process to ensure their chosen representative advances—regardless of what voters might actually want or what the truth might actually be.
