Charlie Kirk’s Security Just BLEW UP Candace Owens’ Claim — Shawn Ryan Caught EVERYTHING
Charlie Kirk’s head of security finally speaks — and what he tells Shawn Ryan goes directly against what Candace Owens reported about the UVU event. Let's get into it. This is a banger
today. A bombshell, ladies and
gentlemen. Now, Candace gave us the
information that the reason that Charlie
Kirk was outside that that terrible day
is because
Turning Point made it a point to put him
outside. Now, Brian Harpole is sitting
down with Shawn Ryan and he has a
different story about what happened. I'm
going to play you both clips so you can
hear the difference in what they're
saying and then we're going to try and
uh parse out what's real and what's not.
But I'm not sure about what Brian is
saying only because of how many times
people on the turning point side, mainly
Rob McCoy, other people as well, Candace
has a list. I don't know if you saw, but
sometimes they say things that are just
wildly not true. But Brian seems like a
solid guy. I'm not going to lie. Let's
do Brian first, then we'll jump over to
Candace. I mean, did anybody I mean, you
know,
I've interviewed a lot of war fighters.
I'm a war fighter. A lot of times
somebody on the team will have some type
of a feeling or a premonition or, you
know, hey, we shouldn't be here right
now or something's about to happen. I
don't have a good feeling about this.
Did anybody you're on your team or
Charlie, anybody express any concerns
about that day? on that day.
For us personally, when you walk in and
and you know, we talk about workup,
right? So, we start the back work up and
then um we're a little different also as
far as um our guys don't just get to
show up. The team goes out and we
physically build all of our prevention
model. So, they don't show up and just
see it. They physically build it and we
walk through at each other and we make
sure things are done right. And so our
guys are pulling bike racks and putting
them together and they're putting tape
up and they're looking at places all
around the bubble that our area of
responsibility is. And and so, you know,
they're looking around thinking, "God,
this is horrible." You know, we're we're
it's a beautiful amphitheater there at
UVU, but um you know, you're
you're a tactician. Um if if you're
somewhere and you're covered from an
elevated position from 180°, that's
horrible. Mhm.
>> And and that's where we were, but that's
come out. It's like, why why would they
have it there? This is ignorance. You
know, it's a security fail. And I'm
like, well, one, that's where they told
us we had to have it.
We weren't optioned out anywhere else.
There's a permit you have to get. And
the school says, nope, this is where you
have to have it. We don't get to argue
with them, you know, we don't get to
say, "No, but that's it. This is where
you put this is where you have to do
it." And then secondarily, Charlie
locked it.
There weren't it wasn't ticketing. You
didn't have gates. Um people, regular
people showed up. And
>> okay, hold that thought. I just want to
say with what he just said, right?
He's talking about like, you know, he's
a little, you know, he's jabbing at
people who are saying it's a security
fail, but also
if you look at it and you go, "This is
horrible.
and it's 180 degrees and there's
buildings all around and you know this
is terrible and you know and and on top
of that UVU is making you do it there.
You don't go to Charlie and say, "Hey,
listen. I know I know you're in charge.
I understand that. But we're we're not
doing this.
We will not do this. You cannot do this.
You're a big public figure. You can't do
this. I get that you want to. I get you
like it, but you're not doing this. My
job is to keep your blood in your body.
That's my job. That's what I'm doing.
You can't do this. It has to be inside
or
you we have to get some bulletproof
glass and that's going to cost you an
extra because that stuff's not cheap.
That's going to cost you an extra 10 10
grand and you have to do it through
there. this is the only way that we're
gonna make sure that you're safe.
Like, I get it. I get it. I get what
he's saying. He's forced to do it out
there. Charlie likes it as well, but
there's still things that you could
bring up. There's still a conversation
that I would think has to happen. No.
Anyway, let's keep going. Again, he's
talking about how I know way too close
to the camera, but you have to
understand I have a Patreon now. So
consider subscribing to the Patreon. As
you know, sometimes we get attacked by
bigger accounts and it puts this channel
in jeopardy. On Patreon, I'll be able to
talk about things that I can't talk
about here and you'll have more of a
link to me just in case cuz like I said,
they're going to figure out this whole
Philadelphia thing that I've been
rolling with the past few weeks. And if
they do, you'll find me over there. Link
in the description. Charlie likes it
right now.
We had spoke to him about it before.
It's like, man, this is getting
dangerous, you know. And his response
was, I know.
And so it's like, but
if you ticket it and you make people
jump through hoops to come in or pay or
go through magnetters and then the
people with opposing views don't show up
and then there's no conversation. And
when there's no conversation, there's
more division. M
>> and his goal was to have less division
through conversation. And so the easiest
way to get that was to open it up. And
so, and that's not the first. I mean,
UVU was a an open air, but we did San
Francisco where we had a street takeover
and people
trying to climb over fences and, you
know, our our primary and secondary uh
xfill got compromised and and so it was
it was bad.
>> Wow. And so we've had um a New Mexico
where we had no law enforcement
assistance and had one not not last
year, year before and we end up
physically just fighting our way out of
there. And so it's like we get it the
risk but um his response and his you
know his mentality was that um this is
worth it. We're we're making gains here.
in your coordination with UV.
>> I hope that's not going to become the
narrative that Charlie knew the risks
and Charlie wanted to risk it all. I I
hope that doesn't become the narrative
because I feel like
even if that's true,
I feel like that's not the thing to to
be saying that Charlie he wanted it this
way. like I I don't you know oh he knew
he was just so dangerous this guy like I
don't think that's the thing to be
saying and that's not completely what
the guy's saying he's telling you know
the truth is he knows it right his
interactions
his jobs what he's had to do but I hope
that doesn't become something that
people start paring now that this is
what he wanted he wanted he wanted the
danger he wanted you know that's this is
not on me. It was Charlie,
right? It's like you start pointing to
the guy who can't defend himself at all.
You're pointing to the guy that can't
say, you know, whether this is true or
not. Like it's really not fair to do. I
I think. But we'll see. We'll see if
that becomes the thing. But you hear
what he's saying, right? He's saying,
and I knew this I knew this when I first
saw this interview. I was like, "These
guys are starving to clear their name.
They are going to do anything possible."
And I even said when I was talking to
someone, I'm like, "These guys are going
to throw UVU under the bus." I said that
before I even saw a minute of the
interview. And that seems to be what's
happening a little bit. Now, who is
right and who is wrong? That is yet to
be seen because there are foyer uh uh
requests that you can make for the text
messages between Chief Long, who is the
uh chief of the university police and
anybody, the security leading up to the
event. If you you can you can make those
requests. It'll take a little time for
them to come through, but people have
that kind of time with this whole thing.
So, I suspect somebody I've even asked a
few people to make that request because
that that needs to be seen because that
will really tell you who was pushing to
make things safer and who was just
trying to kind of not have to do all of
that stuff. So, let's get into what
Candace has to say about this whole
thing. I was going to play a little bit
more of the clip, but it's it's kind of
moving away from the point of this
video. So, I just wanted to make sure we
get what Candace has to say right now.
Let's jump in and hear what she had to
say via her research and her turning
point inside moles because that is what
she is saying is happening right now.
And it's not just her saying it either.
There's a big donor who is actually
coming forward saying that there are
people in Turning Point who want to see
justice and want to see things done
right and those people are giving her
the information. So, it's very
interesting. Let's go.
>> So, going back to our timeline, I will
remind you it was July 18th, according
to the local Utah news. They found this
out. It was July 18th that UVU Turning
Point chapter requested to have Charlie
speak. That is very late in the day for
a request. They're usually backed up
entire semesters. Well, guess how
quickly Turning Point headquarters not
only approved it, but then sent people
to campus to begin scouting a location.
Almost immediately in early August,
within two weeks, they had boots on the
ground and they were scouting for a
location. And it gets worse. Okay. I
learned that after UVU showed them
multiple options inside and outside, UVU
recommended to Turning Point that they
not hold the event in the amphitheater
because of safety re reasons. Not a good
idea because we can't shut this area
down. It's not a good idea because
there's no control here. we cannot
control the traffic, the flow of traffic
coming in and out of this amphitheater.
But TurningPoint insisted that that was
where they wanted to have the event. It
was because Turning Point insisted that
that event was then held outside. Now, I
can tell you having done these events.
That was the first thing among many that
struck me as odd is anybody can just
walk into that's the whole point of
safety is you want to make sure at these
students you're checking tickets, you
have security looking at them up and
down. Do they look weird? Who are we
supposed to keep eyes on? This guy's
weird. Let's watch this guy because he's
mumbling to himself. The whole point of
that, the reason why you feel safe going
to a Turning Point event is because not
everybody can just walk up and sit down
when they want to. Okay, you want to
look people in the eye. Suddenly, that
didn't matter to them. Turning Point
insisted on having the event outside
despite UVU saying they did not they
communicated to them they did not think
the outside was the best idea because of
safety reasons. So my question now is
which specific Turning Point employees
went down and picked that venue outside?
I want to know. In fact, I need to know
and I will know, right? We're just if
you know, send me a tip. But we're we're
going to find out. Okay. What's the
events department looking like that does
that? I know, by the way, that Mikey
McCoy's wife is one of the events
directors. Now, I'm not saying that she
does campus events because there's
different departments. She might do the
bigger events, but was she at all
involved in planning this event? I want
to know. She may not have been. I need
to know and I will know. And if you
would like us to find out quicker
because you have that information,
please send us an email to more
tips@candicewowens.com.
Who?
So, very interesting here. Now, what I
could say, you know, if I want to be
very charitable is that when he says
that UVU didn't give him a choice, that
maybe he doesn't realize
that it was actually Turning Point.
Maybe he's saying it was UVU who said
you have to have it here, but in
actuality, turning point was just like
this is the location, that's it. You
know, I really just don't like the idea
that there are going to be multiple
people that are going to be able to
blame Charlie for this whole thing.
They're going to be like, "Oh, Charlie
really?" Because Candace is saying, you
know, Turning Point insisted,
let me get her out of that position.
>> Who were the Turning Point
>> employees that were the boots on the
ground that scouted that event and that
location?
>> There we go. Get a normal face on you.
Sorry about that.
But she's saying that Turning Point
insisted, they insisted on that
location, right? He's saying UVU
actually insisted on that location. Now,
I'm inclined to believe her over him,
but he still is saying this, and I don't
think that I I don't know him to be a a
straightup liar. This is not Eric
Boiling.
Bo Bowling,
what was it? Boiling. Boing.
This is not that guy. This is not Rob
McCoy, right? Seems like a great guy
when he's going through the interview.
Very, very experienced, you know, uh,
working in Texas, did a whole bunch of,
uh, police work. I mean, his guys are
squared away people in regards to what
their past is and what their
qualifications are.
So, I can't assume that he's lying.
That's why I'm trying to be charitable
and say maybe he doesn't know. Maybe
what he was told was this is the venue
no matter what and doesn't realize that
it's it was actually turning point that
was making it solidified, right?
I don't know. It's really hard to tell
between the two because the thing is
Candace is getting information. And
another thing, the reason that I'm
having trouble with this is because, you
know, you know, Turning Point, I would
think, possibly, allegedly, maybe would
be in damage control mode. I mean, we
already saw it with Eric Bowling where
he was just like, "Oh, Candace, haven't
heard from her, I don't know, since
2015. I don't know, 2016." And it was
just it was just so quickly debunked.
Rob McCoy saying h all this stuff.
Andrew even saying a thing or two that
didn't really add up. Blake saying a
thing or two that didn't really add up
allegedly,
right? [laughter]
So, you know that they're scrambling.
Tyler Tyler's on X threatening to sue
people. People are saying things and I
know two guys who I'm communicating with
that he has threatened to sue.
It's like what? It's so it's so it's so
so crazy. But yeah, they're they're in a
mode where they're trying to really get
things under control. So, am I seeing
this because this guy wants to clear his
name or am I seeing this because this
was another opportunity
to really get the story out there, get
get a get a certain narrative out there?
I don't know. I'm not saying that's what
it is. But I will say there's a there's
definitely some parallels
between this interview
and Eric Bowling going on Patrick Bed
David's podcast. Now, where are the
similarities? Well, they're in the fact
that
you have to be trying to push some kind
of narrative. And I and again, not
saying that's what he's doing, but it
seems that way. I mean, this whole
interview is just about that one day.
And he is not in this whole thing. I've
already watched it. I'm on my second
watch. He's not saying, "Well, I can
tell you where we messed up. Oh, I can
tell you where we really dropped the
ball." That's not what he's going to be
doing in this. And he's not going to be
talking down on Turning Point because he
still works for that company. They still
do security. He's not he's not going to
be talking down on his guys. So, the
only thing he has to do is turn it on to
UVU and say, "Well, these guys messed
up."
I don't know. I don't know. I again, I'm
inclined to believe Candace because
Candace is pissed, right? And her friend
is dead and he was friends with Charlie
as well, but I feel like she was closer
to him. Uh, again, I've said this
before, when it comes to women, they
just have a a deeper e when they're your
friend or if they're working for you,
they have a much deeper uh connection to
you because they're just naturally like
that. They're just they're better at
connecting. They're better at being good
to people. And I know I know I know
you're thinking of some like ladies
you've seen on Instagram or like
podcasts and stuff. You're like, "Those
ones suck." Those aren't the ones that
I'm talking I'm talking about regular
people, you know.
Not talking about the ones that like
you, you know. You know what I mean? You
know what I mean when I say Instagram. I
don't mean the ladies that are taking
pictures with their husbands and their
cats. You know what I'm talking about.
Okay? You know the ones that are
bouncing. You know, let's not get
graphic. You know which ones. You see
them. We're not talking about those
ones. We're talking about regular uh
good good women, right?
H I think Candace is right.
But there's more. There's more to this
interview and I'm going to be bringing
you uh some more of the highlights. The
w the one I'm going to bring next that
we're going to talk about next is uh the
fact that this guy completely just
throws UVU under the bus. And I don't
even mean just like a little bit, like
very blatantly, which again,
assuming he's telling the truth, right,
is valid. That's what you should do. You
got to call out what they did wrong. But
we're never going to hear a word of what
he did wrong. UVU is not going to talk
about it, right? I already said at the
beginning of this episode, there are
some things that this guy could have
done. There's some conversations he
could have had. He could have said,
"Charlie, please don't do this." Or,
like I said, the bulletproof glass is
the best thing. That is the best thing.
What do we have now? Is this a signup?
Oh, no. This is someone giving me a tip.
Oh, what's this person's name? I
probably shouldn't say your name. I'll
just say uh D. Hey, D. Thanks for the
tip. I'm going to look into it right
now. But yeah, that's what we're gonna
talk about next because that's very very
interesting.
