[00:00] So yesterday, I just started laughing
[00:01] when someone sent this to me.
[00:03] Apparently,
[00:05] our very popular prove me wrongs and our
[00:08] extraordinarily viral campus debates are
[00:11] being prominently profiled on South
[00:14] Park. Let's play cut 394.
[00:17] >> Wednesday, August 6th.
[00:18] >> You can just shut up, baby, because you
[00:20] hate America and you love abortion
[00:22] >> on an allnew South Park.
[00:23] >> So, if you don't watch South Park, it's
[00:25] very, very popular, especially with
[00:26] younger people. Look, I mean, I I think
[00:29] we just should have a good spirit and
[00:30] laugh about this and a good attitude,
[00:33] but first of all, that trailer was
[00:35] hilarious. You could shut up because you
[00:36] hate America and love abortions. I mean,
[00:38] that's a it's a pretty good summary of
[00:40] the lot of the left I see on campus. But
[00:43] look, of course, this is going to be
[00:45] professional comedians. They know what
[00:47] they're doing. They're going to probably
[00:48] roast me. But it's about time that we
[00:51] don't take ourselves so seriously.
[00:52] That's one of the problems with the
[00:55] current political landscape, especially
[00:56] on the left, is people take themselves
[00:58] so seriously. Be able to take a joke,
[01:00] have a good sense of humor. And so,
[01:02] South Park is kind of a cultural
[01:03] phenomenon. And make no mistake, being
[01:05] mocked, it means that you're doing
[01:06] something. And I've been texted, by the
[01:09] way, congratulations by so many people.
[01:11] And they're probably going to be nasty
[01:12] and cru and vulgar and all that stuff.
[01:16] But as you see Benny Johnson's tweet up
[01:18] on screen there, which is um Carmen
[01:22] Cartman, not Cart. Yeah, it's Cartman.
[01:24] Uh I thought it's No, it's Cartman is uh
[01:27] playing Charlie Kirk, which is uh pretty
[01:30] cool. And also, you see the security guy
[01:33] behind and the water bottle. Let's put
[01:34] some of these up on screen. Uh Benny
[01:36] Johnson says, "Cartman is playing
[01:37] Charlie Kirk on the next episode of
[01:39] South Park and it's great honor pop
[01:40] culture can bestow upon you." Jack Bobic
[01:42] says, "South Park is doing Cartman as
[01:44] Charlie Kirk." Uh Cartman is playing
[01:46] character inspired by Charlie Kirk in
[01:47] the next South Park episode daily caller
[01:49] writes and Colin Rug as well. This is
[01:51] all very good and this shows that the
[01:53] cultural impact that we are making at
[01:55] Turning Point USA cannot even be ignored
[01:58] by the professional comedians at Comedy
[02:02] Central.
[02:03] And
[02:05] billions and billions of views later, I
[02:07] tell you guys, hey, we're going viral on
[02:09] Instagram and Tik Tok. This is exhibit
[02:10] A. This is evidence
[02:13] and and and and we love it. And look,
[02:14] they're going to make fun of me or
[02:16] whatever. Great. Fine. That means I've
[02:17] done something. That means that we are
[02:19] in a different league of cultural
[02:21] penetration. We are on their feeds. You
[02:24] know what this means? This means that
[02:25] all the all the graphic designers, all
[02:28] the artists, all the script writers, all
[02:31] the comedians, they're seeing Charlie
[02:32] Kirk Turning Point USA stuff when
[02:34] they're flipping through Instagram, when
[02:36] they're flipping through TikTok. Our
[02:38] stuff is going viral and it is making a
[02:40] difference. In fact, one of my favorite
[02:43] things is when I'm on vacation or I'm
[02:46] traveling when a liberal parent has to
[02:49] take the picture of their conservative
[02:51] son who likes me. Oh, it's great. Yeah,
[02:55] they asked me to take a picture, but I
[02:57] can't stand you, but my son loves you.
[02:59] What do Andrea Belli, Steph Curry,
[03:02] Justin Bieber, and Tim Tibo have in
[03:03] common? All of their mothers were
[03:06] encouraged to end their pregnancies.
[03:08] When a woman faces an unplanned
[03:10] pregnancy, she is often pressured to end
[03:12] her child's life. She wants to make the
[03:14] right choice, but society and those
[03:16] around her are telling her that her baby
[03:18] is not alive. That's where the Ministry
[03:20] of Preborn steps in. Pre-born and their
[03:23] network of clinics offers compassionate,
[03:25] loving care to mothers and the support
[03:28] they need to help them choose life,
[03:30] including a free ultrasound. Once a
[03:32] mother hears their child's beautiful
[03:34] heartbeat, she is twice as likely to
[03:36] choose life. If you consider yourself
[03:37] pro-life, it's time to join forces of
[03:39] pre-born. I'm a donor and you should be,
[03:41] too. Together, we can empower women to
[03:43] choose life. Empower the truth of
[03:45] motherhood transforms families and
[03:47] futures. One ultrasound is just $28 and
[03:49] a $140 gift will help to rescue five
[03:53] babies. When you donate monthly, you'll
[03:55] receive stories and pictures of lives
[03:57] you helped to save. Please dial pound
[04:00] 250 and see say the keyword baby. That's
[04:03] pound 250 baby or visit
[04:05] pre-born.com/charlie.
[04:07] That is pre-born.com/charlie.
[04:10] Sponsored by Pre-born. It just goes to
[04:12] show how viral what we are doing at
[04:15] TurningPoint USA is. And look, the left
[04:17] killed comedy. We didn't. And I think
[04:19] it's I mean, look, if you can't make fun
[04:21] of yourself or get made fun of,
[04:22] especially if you're a public figure, I
[04:24] mean, if you're making fun of just some
[04:25] guy on the side of the street, that's
[04:27] cruel. I mean, look, but I'm a public
[04:28] figure. Billions of views. Okay, great.
[04:31] So, it's is part of the game. However,
[04:33] we did do some research and we have been
[04:37] told that it's a very rare cultural
[04:38] accomplishment as a conservative to kind
[04:40] of be profiled on this program. This is
[04:44] Tim P and also Steve Cortez saying that
[04:48] this is evidence that we are winning the
[04:50] culture war. Play cut 418.
[04:52] >> Charlie Kirk, congratulations, man. You
[04:54] made it. It's wild because I'm pretty
[04:57] sure South Park is older than Charlie
[04:59] is. Yeah, by the way. So, a huge win for
[05:01] Charlie Kirk, Chicago boy like we are.
[05:03] We love to see Chicago boys do well, but
[05:05] more importantly for the country. You
[05:07] know, I think the point is here, you're
[05:08] right, we are winning the culture war,
[05:10] right? When South Park feels that they
[05:12] need to mock um a show host and a and a
[05:14] campaign operative, albeit a super
[05:17] important one, uh like Charlie Kirk.
[05:21] And that is just more evidence and an
[05:24] example of the cultural penetration that
[05:27] we have enjoyed at Turning Point USA. We
[05:30] commonly say that cult that politics is
[05:33] downstream from culture. And what this
[05:36] shows is that through the phenomenon of
[05:38] us going on these campuses by having
[05:40] those debates by engaging in this is
[05:43] that South Park and the whole leadership
[05:45] team of South Park they can't escape us.
[05:47] And the response has been amazing
[05:49] because the the left is very mad that I
[05:52] am not mad about this. I changed my
[05:54] profile picture. I think it's hilarious.
[05:56] And yes, of people say, "Charlie,
[05:58] they're making fun of you. Why aren't
[05:59] you mad?" Okay. Like, cuz I don't take
[06:03] myself as seriously as you take me, I
[06:05] suppose. And also, just have a little
[06:08] light-heartedness about it. Be able to
[06:09] take a joke. It's okay. It's part of
[06:12] life. And it's just a symbol that we're
[06:14] making a big difference. And look, I'm
[06:15] sure again to repeat myself, it it is
[06:18] just going to
[06:20] it's going to be pretty intense. Fine,
[06:22] great. And look, the whole season
[06:25] apparently is woke as dead. Uh so that
[06:27] was Cartman's thing in the last episode
[06:29] that Trump won and all the young people
[06:30] are conservative. And
[06:34] look, I mean the the tweet that we put
[06:36] out of, by the way, can we put up that?
[06:38] That's my new profile picture. And
[06:40] apparently they have the PC principal
[06:41] behind him, which apparently the PC
[06:43] principal changed his name this season
[06:45] or something. Is that right, Brian? To
[06:47] something else. I didn't I didn't watch
[06:49] the first the first episode, by the way,
[06:50] was super anti-Trump and really um
[06:53] nasty. And so we're anticipating it. But
[06:56] yeah, look. So that tweet right there
[06:57] has 88,000 likes. My favorite responses
[06:59] are liberals that are so mad. And oh
[07:02] yeah, it's the power Christian
[07:04] principle. By the way, it's also, if you
[07:05] look at the little detail, it's the
[07:06] picture of Cartman. He has the Holy
[07:07] Bible. love. By the way, no joke, I am
[07:10] not kidding you. I told Mikey that this
[07:12] fall I'm bringing a Bible with me
[07:14] actually so I can quote the scripture.
[07:16] It's like hilarious. They South Park is
[07:18] one step ahead. They they they're like
[07:20] one step ahead of us. Now, the only
[07:22] thing that they're missing and they
[07:24] might they they have time to fix it.
[07:25] Where are my lozenes?
[07:27] Where are the lozenes? Where is the tea?
[07:30] They got my hair perfect. They got the
[07:32] security guard. They even have the
[07:34] little background, the mic, the kind of
[07:36] the darker shirt.
[07:39] And yeah, where are the hats? That's
[07:40] exactly right. And by the way, they're
[07:43] they're they they have distilled my
[07:44] essence rather well. And so I have to
[07:48] say that again, we got to watch the
[07:50] episode, but if Cartman comes out
[07:52] throwing hats at people, woof, that
[07:54] would be phenomenal. And so we see no,
[07:56] we no hats so far, but just the entire
[07:59] image and the entire thing is uh is
[08:02] obviously us. And so again, just like we
[08:05] said with Media Matters yesterday, we
[08:07] love this. It's all just another example
[08:10] of the cultural penetration, the
[08:13] success. And we're going to take this in
[08:15] good step and in good spirit. And it's
[08:17] just a good lesson for life, everybody.
[08:18] Don't take yourself so seriously. We're
[08:20] all sinners. We all fall short of the
[08:21] glory of God. We're all broken people.
[08:24] And look, comedians got to do what
[08:26] comedians do. They're they're going to
[08:27] throw stuff at you. Have a little
[08:28] humility. Have a little grace. And you
[08:30] know, if they go too far, they go too
[08:31] far. Okay, fine. Whatever. to shrug your
[08:33] shoulders. And that's the attitude that
[08:36] I encourage you guys to have in your
[08:37] life. And we're going to we're going to
[08:40] really enjoy it. It feels um and look,
[08:44] it some people think that them mocking
[08:45] me will make it like attack us.
[08:49] Honestly, it's uh it's the it it's not
[08:51] even an O of course it's an attack, it's
[08:53] that. But in some ways, it'll only make
[08:54] us bigger. It will only make us
[08:56] stronger. And honestly, it is it is a
[08:58] thrill growing up watching, you know,
[09:00] several episodes of South Park. I
[09:02] haven't watched in about a decade, you
[09:03] know, been busy building some stuff, but
[09:04] it's without a doubt a cultural
[09:06] phenomenon. I think they signed a $1.5
[09:08] billion $1.5 billion 5-year deal with
[09:12] Paramount and CBS. Is that right? $1.5
[09:15] billion. $33 million an episode. $33
[09:21] million an episode. And so I am a happy
[09:26] inkind contribution to the $33 million
[09:29] an episode. Honestly, it's uh it is a
[09:32] fun moment and it goes to show that when
[09:35] we go to those campuses and producer
[09:37] Andrew fills in and we're doing hundreds
[09:38] of hours of debate a year on these
[09:40] campuses and explaining and teaching and
[09:43] being with students that it's been so
[09:45] popular that now it is a really a
[09:47] household thing moving the needle and
[09:50] helping to win this cultural battle
[09:52] getting no joke billions and billions of
[09:55] views. It is uh it is a remarkable thing
[09:58] to witness and to be a part of. So, make
[10:01] sure if you guys are watching this right
