[00:00] Without objection, the gentleman is
[00:02] recognized for one minute.
[00:03] >> It seems hard to believe that it's not
[00:05] even 10 days since Charlie Kirk was
[00:08] assassinated. Of course, we all know why
[00:10] he was assassinated. He was assassinated
[00:13] in part because he stood by our
[00:16] constitution and believed in the limited
[00:19] government that our forefathers wanted.
[00:21] But of course, he was also killed for
[00:23] his Christianity.
[00:25] uh he was really far more of a reli I've
[00:27] come to realize he was a far more of a
[00:30] religious leader than he was a political
[00:32] leader. Uh we have to
[00:36] now uh follow what he would have wanted
[00:40] had he survived. And I think that's two
[00:42] things. First of all, in America right
[00:44] now, church attendance was down. We can
[00:46] all be wonderful Christians without
[00:47] going to church, but it's a bad sign
[00:50] that church attendance was going down.
[00:52] Let us all redouble oursel, redouble our
[00:54] efforts uh to support our local
[00:57] churches, look for bibleelving churches
[00:59] as Charlie Kirk wanted and hopefully
[01:02] they will grow and thrive. and in uh
[01:05] Congress. Let's try to get back one more
[01:08] time to the limited government that our
[01:11] constitution so clearly demanded will
[01:14] stop asking the federal government to
[01:17] add another program after program after
[01:19] program, but instead have the type of
[01:23] government that encourages self-reliance
[01:25] and strong families. Thank you.
[01:28] For what purpose does the gentleman
