Kim Iversen Compares Charlie Kirk's Assassination to the Plot of the 1998 Film Snake Eyes
Kim Iversen watches the 1998 Nicolas Cage film Snake Eyes after viral claims that its plot eerily mirrors Charlie Kirk's assassination, confirming that the murdered character, Charlie Kirkland, is shot in the neck on a date close to September 10th by a conspiracy involving a boxer named Tyler the Executioner. She points out details she says got left out of the online discussion, including that the film's actual shooter is a Palestinian man angry over weapon sales to Israel, and that the real mastermind turns out to be a member of Kirkland's own security detail. Iversen weighs whether the parallels are coincidental, a strange premonition, or possibly an assassin's deliberate signature, before turning to questions about early Discord posts attributed to users named Omar and Osama that predicted trouble on September 10th, posts she argues got reframed in public discussion as evidence of a trans-related plot rather than examined for their original framing.
Kim Iversen Watches Snake Eyes to Check the Viral Comparisons
Kim Iversen says she watched the 1998 film Snake Eyes, starring Nicolas Cage, after seeing it trend online for supposedly mirroring Charlie Kirk's assassination. Before watching, she had heard that the film's murder victim was named Charlie Kirkland, that he was shot in the neck, that the killer was a boxer called Tyler the Executioner, and that it happened on September 10th in the film, the same date Kirk was killed.
"There are some things that are trending on social media that are not quite accurate. And then there are some things that are actually being left out that are even more bizarre, strange," Iversen says.
What's Accurate About the Online Claims
Iversen confirms several of the viral details: the murdered character is named Charlie Kirkland, a stand-in for a defense secretary figure she compares to Pete Hegseth, and he is shot in the neck during a boxing match. The boxer in on the plot, whose real name is Lincoln Tyler, fights under the nickname Tyler the Executioner and is paid to throw the match to create an opening for the shooter.
Details Left Out of the Online Discussion
Iversen highlights two details she says haven't circulated as widely online. First, the actual shooter in the film is revealed to be a Palestinian man angry about weapons sales to Israel, who is killed once his role is complete. Second, the real mastermind behind the conspiracy turns out to be a high-ranking military officer who was a close friend and member of Kirkland's own security detail.
"There's a lot of conspiracy theories going around, one of them being that maybe somebody in his security detail was involved," Iversen says, noting the overlap with theories she's seen circulating about Kirk's actual security arrangements.
Coincidence, Premonition, or an Assassin's Signature?
Iversen weighs several explanations for the parallels, including pure coincidence, the film functioning as an unintentional premonition, or the possibility that whoever planned Kirk's killing deliberately modeled it on the movie as a kind of signature.
"I suppose there's a lot of similarities though, almost too many for it to just be coincidental," Iversen says, comparing a hypothetical professional assassin to a serial killer who might want to leave a personal mark on their work.
Questioning the Discord Posts and the Trans Death Cult Narrative
Iversen turns to early Discord posts that surfaced predicting something significant would happen on September 10th, which were initially cited as evidence that a trans-related online subculture had advance knowledge of the plot.
"When you look at the names of the people that were posting online, it was Omar and Osama bin something. It wasn't related to trans or furries or anything along that," Iversen says, suggesting the posts originally pointed toward an Arab or Palestinian narrative before public attention shifted toward blaming left-wing or trans-identified shooters, a shift she attributes to the broader cultural moment around recent shootings rather than the original evidence.
A Coincidence Involving Erika Kirk's Old Music Video
Iversen also points to an older music video featuring Erika Kirk, in which she zip-lines past the numbers "910" on Fremont Street in Las Vegas, calling it another striking coincidence worth noting, while stressing she isn't certain it means anything.
Iversen's Takeaway
Iversen closes by reiterating that she isn't asserting any of this as established fact, but found the parallels between the film and real events worth examining publicly.
"All of the parallels were certainly creepy, to say the least," Iversen says, encouraging viewers to watch the film themselves and share any additional parallels they notice.
