Charlie Kirk's Assassination Sparks Conspiracy Theories About Tyler Robinson, Israel, and the FBI's Investigation
The LouExtras channel lays out the tangle of theories and unanswered questions surrounding Charlie Kirk's assassination at Utah Valley University, starting with the chaos of the shooting itself and a false confession from bystander George Zinn. From there, the channel walks through Candace Owens' claims that Kirk was betrayed by someone close to him, eerie content that seemed to predict his death, and the emergence of suspect Tyler Robinson, whose Discord confession and engraved shell casings tie him to the online 'groyper' subculture associated with Nick Fuentes. The piece also tracks the political fallout, from Governor Spencer Cox's revelations about Robinson's roommate to accusations against FBI Director Kash Patel, Senator Dick Durbin's criticism of the investigation, and competing claims about Israeli involvement that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu personally denied.
A Campus Event Turns Deadly
Charlie Kirk was holding one of his regular campus appearances under a white gazebo at Utah Valley University, taking questions from a crowd of roughly 3,000 people, when the event was interrupted by gunfire. Kirk was shot in the neck and later pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.
Eyewitnesses Describe the Chaos
Attendees described a scene of panic and confusion as the crowd reacted to the gunshot.
"Everyone was just jumping on top of each other. No one was trying to get shot. Everyone was just covering each other up, because no one knew if there was going to be more shots fired," one witness said. Another described hearing "the pop of a gunshot" from the back of the crowd before the scene descended into chaos.
Footage soon surfaced showing a man on a nearby rooftop fleeing the scene by jumping down and running toward a forest.
A False Confession from George Zinn
In the immediate aftermath, 71-year-old political activist George Zinn was detained after shouting, "I shot him, now shoot me." Zinn later said his goal had been to draw attention away from the real shooter and become a martyr for the cause, and he is expected to face an obstruction of justice charge. Some witnesses speculated the actual shooter was a trained marksman and questioned whether Zinn, described as struggling financially and possibly on medication, could have been responsible at all.
Conspiracy Theories Begin to Spread
As footage circulated, some viewers pointed to a man seen apparently tipping his hat near the scene, suggesting it could have been a signal to a waiting shooter. Others, including some who said they had served in the military, claimed to recognize hand signals resembling sniper-spotting gestures from two men near the event.
Mixed Reactions to Kirk's Death
Reaction to Kirk's death split sharply along political lines. Supporters elevated him to the status of a civil rights figure, with one commentator arguing, "We must stop calling Charlie anything other than a civil rights leader... What he was doing was not politics. What he was doing was trying to stand up for people's civil rights." Critics pushed back on calls for increased security measures, arguing that neither a bulletproof vest nor more security would have prevented a neck shot, and instead pointed to the absence of stronger gun control policy. The European Parliament declined to hold an official moment of silence for Kirk, and UK rap duo Bob Vylan drew renewed criticism after a set in which a member called Kirk "a piece of [expletive]" following news of his death, though the group denied celebrating his death and said the moment was mischaracterized by a reporter looking for a story.
Candace Owens Raises Questions About a Betrayal
Conservative commentator and longtime Kirk associate Candace Owens raised the possibility that Kirk had been betrayed by someone close to him, pointing to footage of a man she recognized from Turning Point USA moving Kirk's chair and removing a memory card from a nearby camera in the moments after the shooting.
"I believe that Charlie Kirk was betrayed by people who are close to him," Owens said, adding that she was struck by the apparent absence of visible blood in footage she reviewed and that she believed "there was very clearly a government level conspiracy that is involved."
Suspicious Content That Seemingly Predicted His Death
Speculation intensified after it emerged that a track titled "Charlie Kirk Dead at 31" had been uploaded to SoundCloud from a Utah location in August, and that a book titled "The Shooting of Charlie Kirk," with a description bearing similarities to the actual event, had been published on Amazon the day before the shooting. Additional tweets sent hours before the shooting referencing Kirk's upcoming campus visit and hinting at violence further fueled the sense that some people may have had advance knowledge.
A Suspect Emerges: Tyler Robinson
Authorities identified Tyler Robinson, a third-year student in Dixie Technical College's electrical apprentice program, as the suspect. Friends and family, including his grandmother Debbie, described him as quiet, respectful, and apolitical, noting that his family were registered Republicans. "Tyler is the shyest person. He has never ever spoken politics to me at all," his grandmother said. A minister and Robinson's father reportedly helped persuade him to surrender, with his father personally driving him to police headquarters before he was booked into Utah County Jail.
A Confession on Discord
Reports indicated that Robinson posted a message on Discord after the shooting but before turning himself in, writing, "Hey guys, I have bad news for you all. It was me at UVU yesterday. I'm sorry for all of this." Discord said the platform had no connection to the incident beyond hosting the message. In a separate exchange with his roommate, Robinson allegedly said he had been planning the act for over a week. Investigators described a bolt-action Mauser Model 98 rifle in .30-06 caliber, fitted with a scope, recovered wrapped in a towel, with engravings on the casings reading messages including "Hey, fascist, catch!"
Doubts About the Confession's Authenticity
Some online commentators questioned whether the leaked chat logs were genuine, with one noting that the phrasing used did not match how a twenty-two-year-old would typically write, raising suspicion that the messages could have been artificially generated to support a particular narrative.
The Roommate and the Groyper Connection
Utah Governor Spencer Cox confirmed that Robinson's roommate, originally described as a key witness, was a romantic partner who was transitioning from male to female, and said the roommate had cooperated fully with investigators and had no advance knowledge of the shooting. Attention then shifted to Robinson's reported ties to the online "groyper" subculture, a loosely organized, irony-heavy online movement associated with far-right streamer Nick Fuentes, which commentators described as drawing on incel forums, gaming culture, and "blackpilled" beliefs that societal decline is irreversible. Analysts pointed to the engraved casings, including references to internet memes and the video game Helldivers 2, as signatures of this online culture rather than a coherent political ideology, with one commentator calling the act "a [expletive] post" designed to be "maximally disruptive and incomprehensible" to outsiders.
Nick Fuentes and the Groyper Movement
Fuentes, who had previously sparred publicly with Kirk and questioned his religious sincerity, had also boasted in past clips about having followers ready to act on his behalf, saying at one point, "I got shooters." Fuentes also claimed credit for infiltrating Turning Point USA's culture with his own ideas, though no direct link between Fuentes and the shooting itself has been established.
Candace Owens, Bill Ackman, and Claims About Israel
Owens further alleged that Kirk had recently told prominent pro-Israel donor Bill Ackman that he would not change his public positions, and suggested that conservative commentator Seth Dillon had attended a related dinner and had not responded to her questions about it. The speculation grew to include unverified claims that Israeli phones had been detected near the assassination site.
Netanyahu Denies Involvement
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu personally addressed the rumors, denying any Israeli involvement and pushing back forcefully against the claims.
"Somebody has fabricated a monstrous big lie that Israel had something to do with Charlie Kirk's horrific murder. This is insane. It is false. It is outrageous," Netanyahu said. "Charlie loved Israel. He loved the Jewish people... Charlie Kirk was a great man, and a great man deserves honor, not lies."
Criticism of FBI Director Kash Patel
FBI Director Kash Patel faced criticism over the handling of the investigation, including claims that a written note from Robinson, described as outlining his intent to target Kirk, had been destroyed but its contents reconstructed through forensic evidence and witness interviews. Senator Dick Durbin criticized Patel for announcing the suspect's capture too early in the investigation, calling him "arguably the most partisan FBI director ever" and accusing him of approaching the bureau with a political agenda.
Political Fallout
In the wake of the shooting, Vice President JD Vance and White House adviser Stephen Miller both signaled intentions to pursue legal action against left-wing organizations they characterized as fomenting violence.
"The last message that Charlie Kirk gave to me... was that we have to dismantle and take on the radical left organizations in this country that are fomenting violence," Miller said. "We are going to do what it takes to dismantle the organizations and entities that are fomenting riots, that are doxing, that are trying to inspire terrorism."
Critics warned that the moment was being used to justify a broader crackdown, even as the suspect's apparent ties pointed toward the far-right online groyper movement rather than the left.
A Bomb Threat in Salt Lake City
Tensions escalated further when police in Salt Lake City detained two men, Abib Nasir, 58, and Adil Justice Nasir, 31, in connection with an explosive device discovered under a news media van. The device failed to detonate, and the incident triggered a large-scale evacuation and federal investigation.
Calls Not to Take the Bait
Amid the political fallout, some voices urged Americans not to let the tragedy be used to deepen division. One commentator argued that corporations and private equity firms, including BlackRock and Palantir, stand to profit from escalating conflict, framing Kirk's death as a tool used by elites to divide the public along cultural lines rather than a purely ideological act. International observers also expressed alarm at the rhetoric on both sides, warning that continued escalation could lead to further violence.
Even some of Kirk's own allies cautioned against using his death to justify restrictions on speech, with one warning against the prospect of new hate speech laws emerging from the aftermath. Ultimately, the piece argues, the only path to real closure for Kirk's family and the public is a full and transparent accounting of what happened and why.

There are some moments in history that bring the world grinding to a collective halt. Recently, one of these happened when one of the most polarizing political commentators out there was gunned down in broad daylight. Suddenly, a man whose career was dedicated to debating those that he fundamentally disagreed with was finally silenced indefinitely. But as the fallout from his death continues, the attempt to uncover exactly what happened is dredging up more questions than answers. And now the public is desperate to get to the bottom of what is an incredibly complex and shocking incident that has shook America and its political ecosystem to its core. It's your boy Louisa live from Lu Extras and this is the suspicious death of Charlie Kirk where we'll look at the mysterious signs that seem to predict it, the shocking suspect that no one expected, and the powerful groups that are now twisting his death for their own gain. It was just a normal day for Charlie Kirk when he headed to Utah Valley University for one of his many campus appearances. He found himself under a white gazebo, taking questions from a crowd of about 3,000 in the university's quad, an outdoor courtyard. With the benefit of a security presence, it was business as usual for Charlie. But before he knew it, everything changed. >> Do you know how many transgender Americans have been mass shooters over the last 10 years? >> Too many. Do you know how many mass shooters there have been in America over the last 10 years? Counting or not counting gang violence? Great. >> Everyone was just jumping on top of each other. No one No one was trying to get shot. Everyone was just covering each other up cuz no one knew if there was going to be more shots fired. >> I was going through the event with a friend and so I was in the back of the crowd still walking to get closer when I heard the pop of a gunshot. As the dust settled amid all the chaos, it was revealed that Charlie had been shot in the neck and had been transferred to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead. Once the reality of the situation came to light, the hunt for the gunman was on. And as the picture of what went down began to emerge, footage began to surface of a man running on a nearby roof in the immediate aftermath. Then apparent footage emerged which showed him fully fleeing the scene by leaping down to the ground below and taking off towards a forest. [Music] Initially an older political activist by the name of George Zinn was cuffed after declaring, "I shot him now shoot me. >> Shoot me. We don't know if it's him or not." According to him, the goal was to draw attention from the real shooter and that he wanted to be a martyr for the person who was shot. Consequently, the 71-year-old is now liable to be charged with obstruction of justice. Meanwhile, those who witnessed it assume that it was the work of a professional. >> Good shooter, a sharp shooter. It was once shot right directly to the heart. And we need to find out who did this. I think there should be a research that completely done that take that took place hours, maybe a day before anything went on. who could be there and pull that trigger and do it. And I don't think it was George Zim. He was poor, broke. He maybe was on medication, a little bit of Looney Boon. Maybe a perfect person to pick and say that did it, but I don't think he did it at all. >> Others were seemingly silenced as they attempted to discuss it with the media. >> I was standing from probably the third row in the bottom. I saw I heard the shot ring out. I looked to my left and then I looked over to my right. I saw him slump over in his chair forward. He slumped over. He had blood coming from the left side of his neck down his shirt and he slumped over and he was carried off. >> Get off me. >> Emotions are running high right now. >> And the speculation didn't end there with many conservative figures making assumptions about the person or persons responsible. >> This [ __ ] ends like enough is enough and now I have to deal with real safety concerns. It sounds like the shooter was a [ __ ] or pro [ __ ] and just because I want to protect women that I'm worried about getting murdered. Are you [ __ ] kidding me? This is it's out of control and and enough is enough and I'm going to double down on this. I'm going to be more vigilant than ever. I'm going to be louder than I've ever been until this [ __ ] stops. It's got to stop. And all the security measures, we've taken many security measures leading up to this because of these lunatic [ __ ] When it came to why someone might target Charlie, the immediate assumption was that it traced back to his most divisive stances, especially on issues like race and sexuality. These blacks trying to go rob her happening all the time in urban America. Prowling blacks go around for fun to go target white people. That's a fact. Black crime is a major issue in our country. Why are you pushing criminal justice reform? Exactly. Joy Reed and Michelle Obama and Sheila Jackson Lee and Katangi Brown Jackson, they're coming out and they're saying, "I'm only here because of affirmative action." Yeah, we know you do not have the brain processing power to otherwise be taken really seriously. You had to go steal a white person's slot to go be taken somewhat seriously. Now, the southern border is, of course, the great replacement. They're trying to replace us demographically. They're trying to make the country less white. It is an anti-white agenda. If I see a black pilot, I'm going to be like, "Boy, I hope he's qualified." Taylor Swift is now engaged to Travis Kelce. This is something that I hope will make Taylor Swift more conservative. As such, it's fair to say death sparked a mixed response. Those who supported him have elevated his every move to the status of heroism. >> We must stop calling Charlie anything other than a civil rights leader. We need to plant that stake deep. It is time that we point out that what he was doing was not politics. What he was doing was trying to stand up for people's civil rights. Meanwhile, people on the other side of the aisle weren't so convinced. And before people say, "Wear a bulletproof vest." Again, he got shot in the neck, a bulletproof vest would not have saved Charlie Kirk. Okay? Security did not save Charlie Kirk. The only thing that could have potentially saved Charlie Kirk from getting shot in the neck was if our administrations prior to this one and this one as well actually had reasonable gun control as a policy provision in the immediate aftermath of I don't know a hundred other school shootings that took place. This is why I keep responding over and over again to people that go, "Hey man, why don't you get security? Hey man, why don't you get a vest?" There's nothing. None of those things none of those things will save you. Likewise, the EU Parliament declined to hold an official moment of silence in his honor. [Music] Soon after, the controversial UK rap group Bob Villain grabbed headlines again. This time for seemingly celebrating his death. >> I want to dedicate this next one to an absolute piece of [ __ ] of a human being. The pronouns was, were [Applause] [Music] you [ __ ] you will get banned. Rest in peace, Charlie Kirk. You piece of [ __ ] >> Yo, real quick. At no point during yesterday's show was Charlie Kirk's death celebrated. At no point whatsoever did we celebrate Charlie Kirk's death. Uh, I did call him a piece of [ __ ] That much is true. Um, but at no point was his death celebrated. If it was, go find me a quote. Go find me something that proves that we were celebrating his death. You're not going to find it because it didn't happen. Uh what did happen is one reporter that bought their ticket online came with the sole purpose of finding something to report and after I called him a piece of [ __ ] and we played a song um they have written that up as a celebration not a celebration isn't a celebration wasn't a celebration um calm down >> later a young man sought to trash a memorial to Kirk only to be promptly taken Now [Music] as for figures in the government, he was saluted by Robert F. Kennedy, who oddly claimed to have met him at a time when Kirk would have been just 8 years old. >> I met Charlie for the first time in July of 2001. I went on his podcast and I think we approached each other with a lot of trepidation at that time but by the end of the podcast we were soulmates, we were spiritual brothers and uh we were we were friends and over the next couple of years our friendship blossomed. He ended up being the primary architect of my unification with President Trump which I which I did my endorsement at his rally at the turning point rally in in Scottsdale and he was the one who put the sparklers on the stage one night I shook. He made a big show of it. However, while his health secretary and other members of his administration were torn up, Trump himself seemed relatively unmoved. >> How are you holding up for the last three and a half years? I think very good. And by the way, right there you see all the trucks. They just started construction of the new ballroom for the White House. >> He even used his eulogy at the memorial service to announce a new policy rather than pay homage to his fallen follower. And tomorrow we're going to have one of the biggest announcement really medically I think in the history of our country. We're going to be doing it with Bobby and Oz and all of the professionals. I think you're going to find it to be amazing. I think we found an answer to autism. How about that? Autism. Tomorrow we're going to be talking in the Oval Office in the White House about autism. Ultimately, the people who are really reeling from the news more than anyone else is Kirk's family and his wife, Erica Kirk, as she insisted that she's ready for war. >> She goes, "Where's Daddy?" What do you tell a three-year-old? >> She's three. I said, "Baby, daddy loves you so much. Don't you worry. He's on a work trip with Jesus." >> Choking back tears, she said she was taking on Kirk's political movement, Turning Point USA. >> The cries of this widow will echo around the world like a battle cry. But as everything when it comes to his assassination, her online posts have sparked debate. >> So Erica Kirk just gave a speech about her late husband, Charlie Kirk. But let's be clear, this is not a grieving widow. This is the most dangerous kind of woman, the male-centered woman. She stood up there and she called Charlie the perfect husband, the perfect father. And she promised that his voice, his movement, his mission will live on through her. But what was his mission? right? Inciting hate against minorities, against immigrants, against black people, against queer people, against women, us. She is not just mourning. She is sanctifying a man who spent his entire career demonizing the very communities that he put at risk. >> Leading to a great deal of discussion what the intent behind them really was. >> Mocking the grieving widow of Charlie Kirk when she posts an image of her at the coffin side. Why do you think that constitutes turning down the temperature? >> You can't turn down the temperature on your own. The president of the United States. >> You inflamed the temperature. You're mocking his widow. Inflamed. You're mocking his widow. We've had multiple political assassinations over the past year. What do you mean? It's turning up the temperature. Why did you mock his widow online? Why did you mock his widow? Because she's because she's being used as a political weapon right now for conservatives to continue their What do you mean? Wow. She's literally doing husband just got murdered on email. Yeah. and she's using it to drive up recruitment for >> and you can't even condemn the murder. >> This may seem a little heavy-handed, but unfortunately, this being the killing of a politically contentious figure has meant that every single aspect of the story is being looked over with a fine tooth comb by both sides. And while that would ordinarily be the case no matter what, the whole situation has been exasperated by the fact that this time not everything is exactly adding up as intended. Once people began to sift through the footage surrounding the events, they began to see some alarming things. Among the things that stuck out to people immediately was a man who seemed to be strategically tipping his hat. And rather than being seen as coincidental, some onlookers accused the man of sending signals to the waiting gunman. Those of us who served in the military are a little bit aware of hand signals being thrown up. And these two men need to really be looked into with some of the sniper looking signals, especially from the especially coming from the guy in the white and the guy in the black. [Music] Immediately, people began to notice the similarities between the way he was touching his headwear and some signals given in the military. With that, there were some who were eager to chalk the whole thing up to an inside job. Most notably, Charlie's longtime friend, Candace Owens, who felt there was every possibility that he was sold out by an aid. I believe that Charlie Kirk was betrayed by people who are close to him. He moves Charlie's chair. That's a crime scene. That's not good. And he moves it because he wants to stand on it as he takes down the cameras uh or the camera rather that is just above Charlie's head. Sits the camera onto the desk and it looks like he removes the SIM card from it or the SD card if you will. Same. And I go, "Wait a second." And I look again. I'm like, "I know this person. It's been a few years, but I I know this person. This person's been around Turning Point for quite some time. As soon as I reached out, I just sent a text because I still had his number. Just let me have the footage. I'm like, "Just send me the footage. Please let me look at it. There's a lot of conspiracies." He did that and I watched the footage and I'm going to tell you what I saw. There's nothing gory about this footage from the back. The thing that really stood out to me and I just kept asking him to replay it over and over and over again is that there's no blood. There's no blood um from the back. There's There is no blood. So, I'm very confused. am very confused not by what I saw but what I didn't see. I do believe that there was very clearly a government level conspiracy that is involved. >> One thing that only fueled this was that there was other content that emerged which seemed to preempt it. Among them was a track uploaded to Soundcloud in August dubbed Charlie Kirk Dead at 31. The location it was uploaded from Utah. Similarly, there was a book published on Amazon the day prior to the actual assassination going down, dubbed as the shooting of Charlie Kirk. Most bizarrely of all, the book overview spoke of a situation that was extremely similar to what went down on that fateful day. Elsewhere, there were some tweets sent in hours prior to Kirk being killed, which led to suggestions that some other people knew. Charlie Kirk is coming to my college tomorrow. I really hope someone evaporates him. Let's just say something big will happen tomorrow. We [ __ ] did it. But amid all these misdirections and potentially revelatory details, a suspect emerged. And once again, this would do nothing to quell the sense that there was more going on under the surface that was yet to be revealed. In a matter of hours, the name of the alleged killer was everywhere. He was known as Tyler Robinson, a third-year student in Dixie Technical College's electrical apprentice program. As news spread that he was involved in the killing of a conservative commentator, people were shocked, particularly because his family were registered Republican. In an attempt to get a picture of his upbringing, friends declared that they were good, down to earth, nice people. They are outdoorsy and like to hunt and ride around on ATVs. I'm stunned. Another family member said, "They are really nice people, very considerate, quiet, and respectful. Likewise, his grandma Debbie couldn't believe it. He was a good kid." She said, "My son, his dad is a Republican for Trump. Most of my family members are Republican. I don't know any single one who's a Democrat. I'm just so confused." Tyler is the shyest person. He has never ever spoken politics to me at all," she added. After the crime went down, it was alleged that a minister and the suspect's father played key roles in persuading him to surrender. Reportedly, the father even personally drove the man to police headquarters. At the time, authorities announced that he will be charged soon and will be held accountable and that the suspect was booked into the Utah County Jail. Alongside the physical evidence he left, it also emerged that he confessed online prior to being caught. >> All right, breaking right now, reports of a confession posted on Discord from Charlie Kirk's suspected assassin after the murder, but hours before his father turned him in to authorities in Utah. This is Washington Post reporting on this at this point. Justice correspondent David Spunt joining me now live from Washington. Hi David. What can you tell? >> I'ming on Discord, that social media chat group uh that the FBI says he used. Quote, "Hey guys, I have bad news for you all. It was me at UVU yesterday. I'm sorry for all of this." >> However, Discord disavowed the posts and said that it had nothing to do with their platform. But in a separate exchange with his roommate, Robinson allegedly revealed that he'd been planning for over a week and that he had hoped to keep it a secret while also claiming that he had enough of his hatred. As it turned out, the bullet casings in question that he described as a meme in these messages were actually read out on the news. After all, boltaction rifle wrapped in a dark colored towel. The rifle was determined to be a Mouser model 9830 6 caliber. It's 306 caliber boltaction rifle. The rifle had a scope mounted on top of it. Investigators noted inscriptions that had been engraved on casings found with the rifle. Inscriptions on a fired casing read, "Notices, bulges, capital O, what's this?" Inscriptions on the three unfired casings read, "Hey, fascist exclamation point catch exclamation point." >> In the wake of the news breaking, people who knew the 22-year-old back in high school aren't surprised that he had chronicled it all online. >> I went to school with this Tyler Robinson kid. I'll show y'all. That's him right there. Tyler Robinson. I'm not trying to like clout chase make this [ __ ] about me, but uh I'm not going to say I knew this kid really well. I didn't know him very well at all, but I definitely saw him for like three straight years in high school. And the best way I could describe him is just like a Reddit kid. I don't know. I feel like if you were in high school around that same time and even probably now like 2018 and then like you know those kinds of kids. But that's exactly what he was. All I'm going to say is this is the kind of [ __ ] that happens when you spend way too much time online and all of a sudden your beliefs are all the way this way or all the way this way and you do some dramatic [ __ ] to please these people that are not your friends. This internet [ __ ] is seriously no joke. But as time passed, not everyone is so sure about the authenticity of those chat logs with the verbiage used and the extent of the confession leaving some people to wonder if this was maybe an AI creation used to further the narrative. Chachi BT says the texts are most likely fabricated, far too detailed, and look too incriminating to be real. A 22-year-old terminally online Zoomer using phrases like squad car, drop point, swept the area, my vehicle, till I die of old age, my old man. I'm sorry, I just don't believe it. Once the news of his confessional exchanges emerged, Utah's Republican governor, Spencer James Cox, shed light on the alleged relationship between Robinson and his roommate. We do know that uh that the the roommate that we had originally talked about, we can confirm that that roommate is uh is a a boyfriend who is transitioning from male to female. So, we know that piece. I will say that that person has been very cooperative uh with with authorities and uh we we have additional evidence, forensic evidence that has been processed. Uh so what what we have learned specifically is that this person did not have any knowledge was shocked uh when they uh when they found out about it um when he found out about it. Uh the the suspect has not been cooperating uh so far and and so we're getting all of this information from from family members again people around the suspect. >> The roommate was a romantic partner. We can confirm that the roommate is a boyfriend who is transitioning from male to female due to his partner's apparent intention to transition. It was originally believed to be on the left side of the political spectrum, but now much has been made of his alleged ties to gropers, a far-right subculture that is characterized by despair. The Groper world orbits a completely different sun. It's youthheavy. It's a coalition that includes a lot of streamers and online personalities, and it borrows from incel forums, gamer chat, cryptocynicism, edgeelord comedy, and a lot of terminally online irony. Here's the core distinction. The blackpilled wing does not believe in reform. Not of institutions, not of culture, not of people. The black pill is the conviction that decline is irreversible. If nothing can be redeemed, then the only creative act is negation. And that's where accelerationism comes in. In this context, acceleration means pressing on every social fault line, race, gender, religion, class, until something breaks. It is not policy, it's physics. The expectation is collapse followed by nothing. And reportedly this memeheavy moment linked back to what was written in the shell casings. >> The memeification is the ideology. The style is the substance. Or as Marshall McLuhan said, the medium is the message. The meme factory does three jobs at once. Number one, it allows for recruitment at scale. So high contrast, darkly funny, and deliberately absurd images travel farther than policy papers. A kid who would never sit through a speech will swallow a hundred images that say more faster and sneakier. Number two, plausible deniability. Irony is a Kevlar vest. If you take it literally, they were just joking. If you miss the reference, you reveal you're out of the club. The ambiguity is the shibilith. But when viewed from the Groper lens and their bleak outlook on the world, the reference to Bellachow, an Italian socialist anthem on the shell casings may have been a deliberate attempt to frame the political left. In terms of why he'd feel disdain for Kirk, it's fair to say that the Groper leader, Nick Fuentes, was by no means a fan of the rival commentator. I think a lot of people are starting to find out uh Charlie Kirk is not the patriot that he says he is. And so I look at what happened last night and I think to myself, this is totally a doable operation. You know, Charlie Kirk in the grand scheme of things is just some [ __ ] idiot. The dog is terrified. I had to go upstairs and reassure him cuz I'm screaming at my stream at my screen calling Charlie Kirk a [ __ ] and everything. The contrast could not be more clear. Charlie Kirk is a totally unexceptional human being. A moral struggle that's happening on you the higher dimension, right? Which is Christ versus the devil. Who does Charlie Kirk serve? you know, is is he really a Christian? Is he really Christlike when he supports foreign wars and Israel and all this? Look at the people he's taking money from. You know, so the guy's a fake Christian. The guy's not a patriot. >> In fact, he has gone far to suggest that he was destroying Kirk's movement from the inside out from his own amusement. >> Whether he chooses to confront me or not, whether he has dignity and honor or not, it's just a matter of time. My ideas are already there. I've already impregnated your organization. I took Turningpoint USA and I [ __ ] it. I took your organization. I took your baby, Turning Point USA, and I [ __ ] it. And I've been [ __ ] it. And that's why it's filled with gropers. That's why your whole crew, that's why the people around you, that's why your chapter presidents, that's why your attendees, they're all gropers. So whether you choose to confront me or not over the honor of your Turning Point USA, it's immaterial to me. I'd like it. I I just get a sick satisfaction out of it. Generally, this could be written off as trolling between two rivals vying for the same audience. Although, there is a darker edge to it because at times he has previously boasted about having assassins ready to carry his bidding at a moment's notice. They hate that I raised my fist and the gropers go into action. It eats them up, you know, cuz they got money and they got shows and they got stuff, but I got shooters. But I got shooters. >> But I got shooters. While no one is suggesting that the whole thing is Fentis' fault, these clips are certainly coming back to bite him in his groper movement. Now that is believed that Kirk's killer was among their ranks. This idea of the situation being linked to black pill conservatives has also led to alternate views of the motivations with some even tracing it solely to internet culture. The casing on the shot that ended Charlie Kirk's life was engraved with a 12-year-old furry bashing meme. Notice his bulge. Oo woo. What's that? Which tells us an important thing. This assassination was a [ __ ] post. That is a lens to analyze it through. Another of the casings references a video game, Hell Divers 2, and a specific bomb that you could send on your enemies in the game with the command upright down. This command line sort of became a meme in image boards where it would be deployed to kind of represent, you know, ending an argument, but almost more so as just like if you know, you know. And that sort of signals the inroup there. LMO. This was a [ __ ] post. It was designed to be maximally disruptive and incomprehensible, cloaked in layer upon layer of irony so that nobody would know what he really meant unless they were our guy. This performs a kind of nihilism that plays really, really well on particular image boards and Discord servers where this guy spent most of his life. And I say most of his life because that furry meme is from 2013. He was 10 years old when it was first posted and became popular. No matter what someone's political beliefs are, it's clear that the story of Tyler Robinson being a lone gunman isn't enough to satisfy people's curiosity or bring any real closure. A close friend of Kirks, fellow right-wing commentator Candace Owens, sparked speculation by pointing to a dinner he attended with Billy Aman and other pro-Israel mega donors where he apparently made it clear that he wouldn't change his stance. >> Charlie said no to BB. Bill Aman, if you would like to dispute that, I would love to hear what you say happened because our sources and what we have, it's solid. Okay. There were conversations that took place, messages that were sent at that time and they are solid. So, I decided another person that was there and I am not surprised this person was there. If you've been listening to my show, Seth Dylan, and I decided to message him last night about about this uh Hampton's meeting. And Seth Dylan, who is normally very quick with a response, has not yet been able to respond. I'll show you this text message chain. And I want to be clear, I am not someone who normally publicizes text meth messages, but my friend was shot in the neck. And um I'm just not really in in the state right now to be polite when it comes to the answers that I am demanding. This is me out to Seth Dylan last night. I sent him Bill Aman's tweet because, you know, he tweeted, "I feel incredibly privileged to have spent a day and shared a meal with Charlie Kirk this summer. He was a giant of a man. >> Over time, this picked up so much steam that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Net actively made a statement denying that his nation had any involvement. >> Joseph Gerbles, the Nazi propaganda minister, said that the bigger the lie, the faster it will spread. Well, somebody has fabricated a monstrous big lie that Israel had something to do with Charlie Kirk's horrific murder. This is insane. It is false. It is outrageous. Charlie loved Israel. He loved the Jewish people. He told me so in a letter that he sent me just a few months ago. A few weeks before his death, I spoke to Charlie. I invited him to visit Israel again. And sadly, that won't happen. Now, some are pedalling these disgusting rumors. Perhaps out of obsession, perhaps with Qatari funding. What I do know is this. Charlie Kirk was a great man, and a great man deserves honor, not lies. Rest in peace, Charlie Kirk. May your memory be a blessing. >> As a result, it hasn't quelled any speculation. In fact, it has intensified it if anything, particularly when it was teamed with the allegation that 12 Israeli phones were documented at the site of the assassination by the NSA. Aside from the suspicion being cast towards Israel by Candace, one organization that's really under fire is the FBI and namely its director Cash Patel. During every briefing, Cash has yet to provide definitive answers and even claimed that Robinson's manifesto is suspiciously missing. So, what I was what I'm able to say is I I I addressed it partially earlier is that the written note we believe what did exist and we have evidence to show what was in that note which is um and I'm going to uh summarize basically saying I the suspect wrote a note saying I have the opportunity to take out Charlie Kirk and I'm going to take it. That note was written before the shooting. Um evidence of existence we now have learned existed before the shooting was in the location um in the suspect and partner's home. But we have since learned that the note, even though it has been destroyed, we have found forensic evidence of the note. And we have confirmed what that note says because of our aggressive interview posture at the FBI. As a result, Cash has come under a lot of criticism amid the fallout of the killing. With Dick Durban arguing that Patel sparked mass confusion by announcing too early that the suspect in the shooting of Charlie Kirk had been caught. At critical stages of an investigation, "Shut up and let the professionals do their job," says Durban. During the same hearing, he labeled Patel as arguably the most partisan FBI director ever and said that he came to the FBI with a political mission and attacked the FBI with a vengeance. Due to his perception of the FBI being in Trump's pocket, it isn't exactly helping to limit suspicion that Kirk's assassination is now being used to sweep certain things that are happening on the global scale under the rug. While the state of Israel just posted this on their Instagram a few hours ago, quote, "The 50 states, one Israel delegation has landed in Israel. 250 American legislators will spend the coming week in Israel and experience it as it truly is by doing this kind of thing, which I guess is required for all US government officials. Okay, I just want to point out to everybody that since Charlie Kirk was assassinated on September 10th, the US government has blocked the Epstein files released, passed an amendment that banned the Pentagon from boycotting Israel, proposed a bill for Marco Rubio to revoke passports for critics of Israel. The House also approved $650 million for Israel's missile defense. And as you just saw there, Marco Rubio visited Israel. But this isn't the only way that it's being enlisted as a political Trojan horse. Over the past few days, JD Vance has made it clear that he plans to use this as an excuse to go after alleged leftist subversives. Even though the shooting is now believed to have been carried out by a groper. And while our side of the aisle certainly has its crazies, it is a statistical fact that most of the lunatics in American politics today are proud members of the far left. >> Similar to Vance, Trump's adviser, Steven Miller, is now using it as the catalyst for allout war on their political rivals. But the last message that Charlie Kirk gave to me before he joined his creator in heaven was he said that we have to dismantle and take on the radical left organizations in this country that are fermenting violence. That was the last message that he sent me before that assassin stole him from all of us. And we are going to do that under President Trump's leadership. I don't care how it could be a RICO charge, a conspiracy charge, conspiracy against the United States, insurrection, but we are going to do what it takes to dismantle the organizations and the entities that are fermenting riots, that are doxing, that are trying to inspire terrorism, that are committing acts of wanting violence. It has to stop. And my message is to all of the domestic terrorists in this country spreading this evil hate. You want us to live in fear, we will not live in fear. And while it's still uncertain whether that will actually happen, what is clear is that things are turning increasingly tense with white nationalist groups now marching and seizing on Charlie's deaths at a rallying cry. Say Charlie. >> Meanwhile, the situation kept spiraling as police detained two men in Salt Lake City after an explosive device was discovered under a news media van. Abib Nasir, 58, and Adil Justice Nasir, 31, were accused of planning the bomb, which triggered a massive evacuation and a federal investigation. And thankfully, it didn't blow as it failed to function as designed. What's clear is that no matter your political views, the death of Charlie Kirk has really brought the tensions that have been bubbling under the surface to the four. Despite the fact that it may have not been the work of someone who subscribed to an exact political ideology, it may just have been a personal crusade. It's no doubt being used as a means to stoke the flames of a conflict that could morph into a civil war if we're not careful. And now those in the middle are increasingly asking their countrymen not to take the bait. This war that we are throttling towards full speed is the war of our grandfather's generation. These old rich men in control who want violence, who want the masses to slaughter each other. These men are our only enemy. Who profits when we have riots? Who profits when the stores burn down? Who profits when we turn our backs on our brothers? Corporations profit. Private equity profits. Black Rockck profits. Black Rockck profits every time a bullet is fired and every time a store burns down. This culture war that they're sparking is being used to tear this country apart for their profit, for their gain, for the so they can continue to profit off of our suffering. These people will profit when they shoot you and they will profit at the hospital when they stitch you up. Companies like Black Rockck and Palunteer are set to make trillions off of the impending collapse of our nation. I am begging you, please, for the love of God, for the love of our neighbors, for the love of whatever, do not take the bait. The enemy of my enemy is my friend and brother. We are all sharing an enemy. Charlie Kirk was killed by being used by the same enemy as a divisive tool to split our nation in half. He was killed because he was a tool used by the elite to split us along culture issues like race, like sex, like gender. The only issue that matters is the corporations at the top and the rest of us at the bottom suffering while they sip champagne and they laugh at our fear. If your enemy isn't across, your enemy is up. >> Even the rest of the world are waking up to it, urging America to proceed with cool heads as things look increasingly volatile. >> What's happening in America is frankly frightening. Lots of people online, as you might expect, but also on television and in the public square right up to the president himself are using dangerous language about this where they are saying they're blaming the other side, both of them. Donald Trump says uh if you call people fascists and Nazis, you that's rhetoric that basically created the atmosphere that got Charlie Kirk killed. Others are going further and saying that everybody from um Antifa anti-fascist protesters to the the whole of the left and the whole of the Democratic party there needs to be a legal crackdown on now because they're dangerous. But it's not just the right who are sounding vengeful. On the left, there has been some appalling behavior where people have been celebrating the death of Charlie Kart because they didn't agree with his views, laughing about the fact that um he supported gun rights and said you had to tolerate a few deaths a year in order to be able to have guns in the Second Amendment, but also blaming the right in a way that I have, of course, we talk about polarized politics all the time. I have never seen it to the point where the right say anyone who disagrees with them has created a climate of violence. Um and the left are responding to that frankly uh by behaving about as badly as you could possibly imagine in those circumstances. And if this doesn't result in other kinds of violent incidents, please God not another death, I will be very surprised. >> Even some of Trump's most dedicated supporters are speaking out against him and how his government is twisting the narrative in a way that has some people fearing that hell has frozen over. You hope that Charlie Kirk's death won't be used by a group we now call bad actors to create a society that was the opposite of the one he worked to build. You hope that you hope that a year from now the turmoil we're seeing in the aftermath of his murder won't be leveraged to bring hate speech laws to this country. And trust me, if it is, if that does happen, there is never a more justified moment for civil disobedience than that ever. And there never will be. Because if they can tell you what to say, they're telling you what to think. There is nothing they can't do to you because they don't consider you human. They don't believe you have a soul. A human being with a soul, a free man, has a right to say what he believes. Not to hurt other people, but to express his views. Whatever happens from here, the real important aspect of the whole mystery is that the truth of this incident will hopefully emerge. Because regardless of what your thoughts are on Kirk, the only thing that will ever provide any sort of closure to his family is to learn exactly what happened and why, as well as the perpetrator being brought to justice. Stay safe out there, guys. It might get worse before it gets better.
