Reporters CHASE Woman Accused Of Horrific Crime

[00:00] This woman is being chased by a slew of

[00:02] reporters as she runs away.

[00:05] >> Running away from the reporters and

[00:06] cameras waiting there to confront her

[00:08] about the crime she's accused of.

[00:10] >> And what crime is she being accused of?

[00:12] >> She is the 20-year-old accused of giving

[00:14] birth at home and leaving her newborn to

[00:16] drown in the toilet.

[00:17] >> Come again?

[00:18] >> Didn't know she was pregnant. Went to

[00:20] the bathroom, gave birth to a baby,

[00:23] heard the baby cry, watched the baby die

[00:26] in the toilet. How is any of that even

[00:29] possible? How do you go 9 months and not

[00:32] know you're pregnant?

[00:33] >> Investigators say Demiglio hid the

[00:35] infant, a girl 3 lb 6 o in a duffel bag

[00:38] in her closet and then went to her

[00:40] college, plus the little theater in New

[00:43] Smyrna Beach for a performance. She

[00:45] played the character Virtue in the

[00:46] musical Anything Goes. Deputies say she

[00:49] eventually buried the newborn in a

[00:51] shallow grave in her backyard.

[00:53] >> What in the name of Mull is going on

[00:55] here? I could never imagine being able

[00:58] to do that. Um, I'm right there with

[01:00] you. I I don't I don't understand a lot

[01:02] of the uh answers she had, but that is

[01:04] what she said has occurred and that's

[01:06] where we're at with the investigation. I

[01:08] watched some of the interview and uh I

[01:10] didn't see any remorse.

[01:11] >> I did ask her uh if knowing what she

[01:13] knew now during her interview if she

[01:15] could go back 48 hours and change how

[01:16] she handled the outcome of this um if

[01:19] she would change it. And she said she

[01:20] doesn't believe that she would. The

[01:22] current view around abortion from those

[01:24] who strongly support it seems to be that

[01:26] a woman should be allowed to have one up

[01:28] until the moment of birth.

[01:30] >> Abortion is healthcare.

[01:34] >> So if you're a liberal or a supporter of

[01:37] abortion and you find all of this

[01:38] horrifying, I would ask why. If you

[01:41] support abortion until birth, then what

[01:44] would the difference be if the baby was

[01:46] just born? We'd be looking at a matter

[01:48] of hours or days. So, is it any wonder

[01:51] then that some women who are told by the

[01:52] entirety of the left that an abortion is

[01:54] a sacred right would take it upon

[01:56] themselves to have what they might

[01:58] consider a post-birth abortion?

[02:00] >> A teen is under arrest for allegedly

[02:02] killing her baby just after giving birth

[02:05] in a hospital bathroom.

[02:07] >> Snowelling was first arrested last

[02:08] August after a baby was found dead

[02:10] wrapped in a towel thrown in a trash bag

[02:12] in her closet. Police say Felipe

[02:15] admitted to giving birth in her

[02:16] apartment and put it in the dumpster at

[02:19] around 9 at night.

[02:21] >> So, while I find all of this horrific, I

[02:24] struggle to understand why someone who

[02:26] supports abortion would care. I do not

[02:29] see a consistency in those worldviews.

[02:32] >> Why did you let your baby drown?

[02:35] >> And if you were so afraid to tell your

[02:36] parents that you were having a baby,

[02:38] that you had to let your baby drown, why

[02:40] are you not afraid to go home now?

[02:44] hotel.

[02:45] >> Do you have anything to say about

[02:46] letting your baby drown?

[02:50] >> Are you afraid to go home now?

[02:54] >> D Miguela is going to be booked in on a

[02:56] manslaughter charge. Deputies say it is

[02:59] not murder because she did nothing else

[03:01] to cause the baby baby's death other

[03:04] than watching it.
