[00:08] that we all um could focus in on it. And

[00:11] Senator Graham, thank you for your

[00:12] leadership on this and Senator

[00:14] Blumenthal and bringing us here today.

[00:16] Um, before I start on the issue at hand,

[00:18] I want to echo what you've heard from my

[00:20] colleagues. Political violence has no

[00:23] place in America.

[00:26] What we saw yesterday

[00:29] and everyone saw it is sickening.

[00:33] It is disgusting.

[00:35] It was a political assassination.

[00:39] And all of you sitting in these rows

[00:42] have a duty and an obligation to call it

[00:44] that. You know, when I'm thinking about

[00:47] Charlie, obviously his faith was the

[00:49] most important thing in his life. His

[00:51] wife, his children, our prayers are with

[00:54] them. But he influenced countless

[00:58] Americans and people across the world.

[01:00] My kids being amongst those groups.

[01:04] Talking with them last night, talking

[01:06] through this with them last night is

[01:08] just unthinkable that this is happening

[01:10] in the United States of America. And so

[01:13] the time for unity, the time for peace,
