The Unlikely Alliance Between Radical Islam and Marxism United Against America

Charlie Kirks on how radical Islamic theocratic dictatorships and radical Marxist ideologies have formed an alliance despite their fundamental differences. The common thread binding these opposing worldviews is a shared hostility toward America and Western civilization. This alliance manifests visibly on college campuses across the nation, where groups with seemingly incompatible values cooperate in their opposition to American principles. Kirk highlights a critical paradox: Western civilization has historically provided the greatest protections and freedoms for vulnerable populations including the LGBT community, women, and people with disabilities, yet it faces coordinated opposition from ideologies that would offer far less freedom. Understanding this alliance requires recognizing that shared enemies can create strange bedfellows in political movements, even when those allies would naturally oppose each other's core values and governance systems.

The Enemy of My Enemy: Understanding an Unusual Coalition

The left has formed an alliance between radical Islamic theocratic dictatorships and radical Marxist ideas. They almost look out for each other, and this phenomenon is visible on college campuses across America. The question that emerges is: what is the enemy that unites them? The answer is clear—whatever it takes to destroy America.

A Shared Hatred Despite Different Motivations

The one thing the left has in common and the one thing Iran has in common is they both hate America. They hate America for different reasons, but they both hate America. This shared antipathy enables them to form an alliance around their mutual opposition, despite having fundamentally incompatible worldviews on nearly every other issue.

The Paradox of Attacking Civilization's Greatest Protector

It's important to remember that the West has been the best for people in the LGBT community, for women, for people with disabilities, and so on and so forth. Western civilization has been the greatest experiment for the least of these in the history of the world. Yet these are the very institutions and values under attack by this unusual alliance, which would replace them with systems that historically offer far less protection and freedom for vulnerable populations.
