Danks's Financial Forensics Into Turning Point USA

Showing 44 Danks videos from Charlie Kirk's video collection.

Danks built a two-track presence in the aftermath of Charlie Kirk's assassination: an emotional tribute song called We Are Charlie, built around the refrain that the movement won't back down, and a parallel body of forensic financial investigation into Turning Point USA's public tax filings. On the financial side, Danks used year-by-year IRS Form 990 records and archived snapshots of TPUSA's staff page to calculate that fundraiser Stacy Sheridan's privately owned companies collected roughly $4.67 million in commissions on donations she also raised as a salaried Chief Development Officer, a 73 to 74 percent commission rate Danks flagged as unusually high for nonprofit fundraising and said TPUSA had inconsistently disclosed across different years of filings. He extended the same document-based approach to executive pay, identifying Director of Major Gifts John McGovern as the organization's highest-compensated employee at over $521,000 annually, more than Kirk himself reportedly earned, and to a Wyoming LLC tied to a multimillion-dollar life insurance policy that Danks argued explains part of why Erika Kirk holds the CEO title specifically. Danks has said Kirk himself requested an independent financial audit roughly eight days before his death, and frames his own reporting, built entirely on public filings rather than anonymous sources, as picking up that unfinished request.
