Let's do it.
Let's get into it. Coach Colin here.
What's going on, guys? Candace is a wild
wild
lady. I mean, she is like Hunter S.
Thompson in the sense of she does this
Gonzo journalism. If you don't know what
Gonzo journalism is, it's when you are
weaved into the story that you're
covering. And she does that better than
anybody else currently. I mean, just
incredible. She jumped on her stories
and just said a bunch of wild stuff,
which everybody made sure to screenshot
cuz it was just that wild. Uh, let's
just jump right in talking about Tyler
Robinson, whether he whether or not he's
actually confessed. Of course, we're
talking about Candace. So, she has
something very different to say than the
rest of the media. And that and that's
the alternative media and the mainstream
media. she has something completely
different on her mind. I'm going to show
you that. Then I'm going to show you an
update that Fox News just released
because Tyler did appear in court just
uh 12 hours ago. So, I'm going to be
showing you that as well. Seems a little
odd. And then we're going to we're going
to steal man what Candace is saying. I'm
not just going to go along with what
she's saying. I want to hear what she
has to say as we should be able to do
and then show some information that
counters it and then start to think
about which makes more sense. Okay,
let's just jump in here real quick. So,
this is what she had to say on her
story. Uh, it said Tyler Robinson is
very happy and not sad. The entire
narrative that was placed in the media
about him having been not very happy and
very sad is completely fictional as are
many other aspects of what we've been
told. Then she went on to say this uh
his father having turned him in after a
confession is completely fiction. To the
contrary, Tyler Robinson maintains his
innocence and has never been to has
never even been to the university campus
UVU. There are absolutely zero photos or
videos that the campus can produce to
the contrary. Now, that's a little odd
because I feel like everybody was
talking about these photos that they saw
of the guy going up the stairwell. I
know some people released AI versions of
it and then some people had the actual
version of it and I guess she's not
she's not buying that, right? Uh which
is why they have produced nothing other
than a blurry image which Tyler's family
knows is not him. Don't know how she
knows that. Very interesting. His family
has not come forward with anything.
Tyler has never once expressed a very
sad and unhappy thought. I want to be
clear.
The federal gov is lying about
absolutely everything other than the
fact that it is his gun. See, that's a
weird thing, right? She's saying a whole
bunch of stuff and then at the end it
was actually his firearm. It's like,
okay, well, how did that get into the
mix if he's never been there? He he he's
he was never there. maintains his
innocence, but somehow his firearm got
there. He has brothers. Is are people
starting to say think that his brothers
did it? He's covering for one of his
brothers. I don't know. But Candace just
came out of nowhere with that. Everybody
was set ablaze.
And uh yeah, let's let's get into what
she has to say. Now, one thing I did not
realize at all, and I don't know if you
realize this either, is that he hasn't
confessed to authorities. I did not know
this. Listen to this, guys. This is a
serious message. As you can see, I'm not
even in uniform. I'm not wearing the
signature hat, so you know, very serious
message. 59% of you are not subscribed.

get back to the episode.
>> And and anything new on the
investigation? You say he admitted that
confessed?
No, not not again he is he has not
confessed to um to authorities. He he is
he is uh he is not cooperating. Uh but
uh but but all the people around him are
cooperating and I I think that's uh
that's that's very important. Um there
were reports yesterday that that that uh
that we can confirm that uh that his
roommate was indeed a boyfriend uh who
who is transitioning from uh from male
to female. Uh that's that's information
that the FBI had uh had mentioned
yesterday. uh we can confirm that as
well and that that uh that he is
cooperating with uh with authorities as
well
>> and and anything new.
>> So apparently
he has not confessed to authorities. Now
that is something that I did not know.
You kind of assume he's in there. You
know the we've all se the whole thing
from the time that it happened September
10th to September 13th. It was just a
whirlwind of just a bunch of stuff. So,
we kind of assume once he's in custody
that he has admitted, but I guess he's
not and he's not cooperating.
I I guess that's kind of usual for
somebody. But you would think, this is
my thinking now. I don't know if this
would be considered a plea, but you
would think that if you turned yourself
in, the first thing you'd do is admit
your guilt and you would couple that
with saying, "And please have mercy on
me." I would, if the best thing that
could happen is I am in prison for life
without parole, please let it be that.
Don't let it go to the next step beyond
that, which is what they're trying to
get.
But he's not doing that. Turned himself
in, but then also pleading innocent,
which means that if he loses the case,
he's going to get
more than likely he's going to get the
harshest punishment possible, right? And
that is the unaliving of of uh of him.
So,
it's very odd. But then Candace is also
saying that his dad didn't turn him in.
This is a weird thing because
just like Thomas Matthews, crook crooks,
you didn't really hear about his
parents. We still haven't. His parents
lawyered up and nothing came of it.
Nothing. His dad lawyered up. We saw two
little videos, maybe 30 seconds a piece
of his dad saying, "Just leave me
alone." He was leaving a lawyer's
office, very highcale lawyer, and we
haven't heard from him since. Same
thing. We haven't heard from Tyler's dad
at all. Not not even remotely. No
statement, no nothing. No, hey, I'm
sorry. Nothing. So,
I don't know where she's getting this
information from, I completely
if she's saying she got her information
in regards to anything else. If she's
saying she got her information from
Turning Point insiders, I'm like, okay,
I completely get that. I believe that. I
believe there are people at Turning
Point who probably still hold her in
high regard, right? But in this case,
where could she possibly be getting this
information from? Obviously, it's a
source. She's not going to disclose a
source. Got to respect that. They're not
allowed to do that. But I don't know.
It's just But let's just get further
into it. Now, this is the update. Him
actually in court. This is a weird weird
thing. Listen to this
>> very uh significant moment. this
morning, the court hearing for Tyler
Robinson, Charlie Kirk's accused
assassin. It wrapped up earlier today.
It was a procedural hearing and he
attended it remotely. He didn't have a
camera on him, but we did hear his voice
very briefly. Listen.
>> And to the jail,
do we have Mr. Robinson present?
>> Yes, your honor.
>> Yes, your honor. Uh, we heard from Tyler
Robinson. His courtappointed attorney,
Katherine Nester, says she wants a
preliminary hearing where a judge will
determine if there is enough evidence to
go forward with this trial. The next
court date is set for October 30th.
Robinson is expected to appear in person
on that date. With that, we bring in
Brett Tomman, former US attorney for the
District of Utah. And
>> see, I'm old I'm old school, right?
Yeah, I feel like a I feel like a boomer
right now because since when do you get
to just you just get to zoom in on on a
case of this type of stature? You just h
I'm not nah. They said I didn't have to
go in. I'm just here in jail. Wouldn't
they just be like, "Okay, we got to ship
him over to wherever court's happening.
Obviously, we got to ship him over
there. He has to be in the courtroom."
And then on top of that, he doesn't have
to have the camera on. He just says,
"Yes, your honor." And even this lady,
this lady's like, "And there you hear
it. Yes, your honor." You don't know
what he sounds like. I don't know what
he sounds like. Nobody knows what this
guy sounds like in reality. You can go
hear him dealing with a cop in a police
or in a in a car crash that he had.
There's body cam footage, but people
don't know what this guy sounds like.
The judge doesn't know what this guy
sounds like. That could have been
anybody. I'm just saying. I you know,
it's just it's I find that very weird.
very very weird. So um let's just jump
into this. They talk a little bit about
what his defense could be.
>> Right on crime executive director
Breick, good to have you with us today.
Um we have pictures of Katherine Nester,
who is Robinson's defense attorney. We
also have uh the team for uh the other
side for the prosecution, Jeff Gray and
Chad Granander. We just got our first
look at these teams this morning and we
heard just that little bit from Tyler
Robinson. your thoughts on where this
stands and if we will actually get a
full preliminary hearing which in Utah
is in lie of a grand jury uh procedure.
>> That's right, Martha. Thanks for having
me on. I mean, this is obviously the
most important case that these
prosecutors whom I know have have ever
been tasked of of presenting and and I'm
very certain they're they're going to
rise to the occasion. Um he'll be very
well defended in this case. And it's
important to keep in mind that the the
preliminary hearing, it's not surprising
to me that they did not wave it, which
is typical in criminal cases, but not in
this instance. The defense is going to
want to see a glimpse of the evidence
beforehand. This this allows them to see
how strong the evidence is, what the
government has gathered, and be able to
prepare a little bit sooner in advance
their defense and their strategy before
committing, you know, one way or the
other as they go through the case.
>> Yeah. Um, obviously the defense is going
to want to be very careful here about um
not sort of opening any avenue for
anything to be thrown out or any
procedural problem on their end. Same
for the prosecution of course in this
case. Um, in in terms of the possibility
of seeking any insanity plea or anything
along those lines, let's put this full
screen of the text messages exchanged
after the shooting by Robinson and his
roommate. Uh, roommate, how long have
you been planning this? Robinson. A bit
over a week, I believe. If I can get
close to it. The rifle is in parenthesis
because we The assumption is that that's
what he's referring to. But there's a
squad card parked right by it. I think
they already swept that spot, but I
don't want to chance it. And then Robin
said, "I'm wishing I had circled back
and grabbed it as soon as I got to my
vehicle. I'm worried about what my old
man would do if I didn't bring back
Grandpa's rifle." Um, I don't even know
if he had a serial number, but it
wouldn't trace to me. I'm sorry about I
worry about the prince I had to leave in
a bush when I changed outfits.
This is so weird. You know, when you
hear those messages read out loud and
you're like, "What? You just said all
that?" Like, I understand not
everybody's street smart, right? But you
said all that.
Are you okay?
I don't know. You don't do that. You
just say, "Hey,
real busy. Can't wait to see you. Hey,
can you meet me here? I need I need some
help with something." That's the type of
messages you you put forth.
See, the serial number would have been
46984642-72,
but the thing about it is it's a little
older, so there's no serial number. But
this is the thing. I'm wearing these
black pants right now, and I'm changing
out of them right now. I'm in my under
roots and as I put on my other pair of
pants. What? You okay? You using voice
to text? Why you saying so much? You all
right? I don't know, man. I don't know.
I don't know about all that. This
doesn't sound like someone who's not
calculating and understanding the
actions that he's carrying out here,
allegedly carrying out here, Brad.
>> Yeah, Martha. In Utah, they would have
to be able to show uh that he was
incompetent. And the standard for
showing that he's incompetent would be
that he does he lacks the ability to
appreciate the difference between right
and wrong and good and bad and right and
wrong. And all of that comes into play.
And the and the government would have
to, you know, refute that. And some of
the best evidence for that is the
planning is the interaction he has with
others uh you know in his family,
friends and and and everyone that he
came in contact with.
>> Certainly. Uh Brett Tolman, thank you
very much.
>> So yeah, that's uh very odd. You know,
they're talking about what kind of plea
is he going to go for? You know, is it
going to be insanity or something like
that? Uh I don't know. I mean, if he has
to show that he's incompetent, I mean,
the text messages kind of show that he
was incompetent. That's incompetency.
Okay. I uh I'm on the straight and
narrow nowadays. In my younger days,
if I was doing anything with somebody
and they put out text messages like
that, I would be like, "Wow, that guy's
incompetent." You know, you know, guys.
Huh? We're all going to jail now. Yeah.
No, he wrote a very long text messages.
Yeah, a text message. I know. Yeah.
Yeah, he did. Yeah. Yeah. He said
everything. Yeah. Very incompetent.
That's the kind of conversation we would
have. I'm just saying, you know, I mean,
jokes aside, but I don't know. That's
just wild. But again, going back to what
Candace is saying, it it what she's
saying pushes against everything so much
that it's just confusing at this point.
Now, this was an actual uh where do I
have it here? This is the actual the
official indictment. Now, this kind of
goes with what she's saying. has
discussed this the situation. Robinson
implied that he was the shooter and
stated that he couldn't go to jail and
just wanted to end it. When I asked why
he did it, Robinson explained, "There's
too much evil." And the guy Charlie
spreads too much hate. They talked about
Robinson turning himself in and
convinced Robinson to speak with his
family friend, who is a retired deputy
sheriff at Robinson's father's request.
the family friend met with Robinson and
his parents and convinced Robinson to
turn himself in. Now, I don't know.
That's in the official indictment. And
Candace is just like, "That didn't
happen."
So, could they put something in that
wasn't true? I guess. Did they? That's
the thing, you know, if you want to go
with what she's saying, you have to
think, are they just making that up? Is
that just a madeup part?
you know, and what people are saying
here, you know, people who are taking
this as real because it's the official
indictment. So, you you don't have to,
but for the sake of this conversation,
I'm going to say you kind of, you do
have to take this as actual. Uh, the
thing that people are pointing out is
that he implied that he was the shooter.
That's what a lot of people are clinging
to. Now, what I would cling to more is
that he stated he couldn't go to jail,
just wanted to end it. Why? When asked
why he did it, Robinson explained.
That would be to me, and probably not in
a court of law. I mean, just as a person
reading it, it sounds like he's admitted
that he's done it, but he just hasn't
said the words, "I I did this." He just
hasn't said that, but he has pretty much
said why he did it when he's asked,
right?
You know what I mean? So, I don't know
about Candace on this one. I'll be
honest. But then you go a little further
when I dug into it a little bit here.
Yes, Robinson has allegedly confessed to
what happened multiple instances though
he is not cooperating with authority and
has not confessed to police. Now, that
is an interesting thing because they
keep saying that he's confessed, but in
actuality, the official confession has
not happened. when he says that to
police, there is going to be a whole
bunch of media released about that
because that's the big thing. So when
Candace says that, that's correct. He
has not done it to authorities and
honestly it sounds like a lot of it has
been secondhand. So Robinson reportedly
confessed to his father after his
parents recognized him in surveillance
footage released by police. His father
then encouraged him to turn himself in.
He allegedly confessed to family
members, prompting a family friend who's
contact the sheriff. Okay, we already
read this. Um, go down here.
Additionally, prosecutors allege
Robinson left a note for his roommate
that said, "Hey, drop what you're doing.
Look under the keyboard where a message
was found stating,
it's so weird that he would he would say
this because this seems like a smart
thing to say. Hey, hey, drop what you're
doing. Look under the keyboard. I left a
strategic note.
You know, that's what you do when you're
like, I can't talk on the phone about
any of this. So, you do something like
that. But then the person's like, "Well,
I looked I looked under the keyboard and
I found the note and I'd like to know
everything." And he was like, "Yes, my
love. I will tell you everything right
now. My vehicle is in this location at
this time. My pants are black. I'm
chafed mildly. I'm sweating. There's a
rifle. It's tied up. It's my
grandfather's. There's no serial number.
You understand? The serial number would
have been 5124k.
If it was a newer rifle, it would have
had 5124k 689 10 114.
But in this instance, there's nothing.
It's World War II. It's black. It's very
nice. Handles well. You know what I
mean? Like he just went off and said
everything. But this is how it started.
Drop what you're doing. You left a
strategic smart note and then just went
into blabbing everything. very odd. Um,
had the opportunity. I'm going to take
it opportunity to take out Charlie. Text
message between Robin and his roommate
reportedly included a confession.
Robinson uh, let me make sure you guys
can see that Robinson further alleged
allegedly confessed an online discord
on a platform popular amongst gamers. I
heard this too. He initially joked about
being the person. It was me yesterday.
Sorry for all this.
Huh?
According to reports, he initially joked
about being the person who did this, but
later admitted
it was me yesterday. I'm sorry for all
this. Why would you have to say I'm
sorry to all this for all this to your
Reddit to your Discord friends? And then
I looked into Discord a little bit and
apparently Discord uh responded to the
incident involving Tyler. They said the
suspect who did what he did to Charlie
Kirk uh by confirming I identified an
associated account with Robinson but
stated there was no evidence that he
used the platform to plan anything. So
that's what Discord was really concerned
about that he didn't plan anything. The
company clarified that the messages
reported to have detailed planning such
as retrieving the firearm from a drop
spa uh drop point or leaving it wrapped
in a towel were not discord messages but
rather communication between Robinson's
roommate and a friend recounting the
contents of a note Robinson had left
elsewhere.
Why would the Discord people know all of
that? Wouldn't they just know what was
on their platform and what wasn't? All
good. Whatever. Um, not whatever, but
you know what I mean. Let's keep
reading. Despite the initial claims, uh,
Spencer Cox that Robinson had spent
Discord messages, the platform denied
this, asserting that the alleged
planning details were not communicated
through its service. And then, and then
if you go lower, so he did not plan
anything through there. In response to
the incident, Discord removed Robinson's
account for violating its offplatform
behavior policy, which prohibits the
prohibit uh prohibits participation in
acts of any extreme violence, etc., etc.
So, they remove the account, which I I
assume they still have the the contents
of it, so whoever needs to see it can
still see it, the authorities. But
again, all of it's just very odd, right?
So, he didn't use Discord the way they
were saying he did. He left a note, then
left the message, then that note got
destroyed. I've already talked about
that.
I don't know. And then and then the end
question becomes, do you believe her and
what she's saying or do you believe
this? And and what what really matters
is which one makes more sense.
I'm not I'm not 100% sure because some
things that she's saying don't make
sense. You know, she's saying like
especially the part about his father
having turned him in after a confession
is completely fiction.
It's complete fiction. So then what
happened? How did they take him in? They
have him now. Do don't they? I don't
know. We heard his voice. I think he's
not on camera. Doesn't have to be in the
courtroom. So, it's just it's very odd
like the the two sides push against each
other, but also both sides of what's
being said don't make sense, you know?
So, I just figured I'd bring that
because a lot of people started showing
this and they're like, "Listen, this is
what Candace said." And I get it. I get
it. Believe me, I'm following along just
like everybody else is. But when I saw
this and then you look into it a little
bit, it's like still it's still up in
the air. But I mean again, and I've said
it before, JFK level weirdness. The
whole thing. The whole thing. And you
know what's funny about this? You know
what's kind of funny? Uh Candace is
going to go down in history.
She's that's going to be a historical
thing. They're going to be like and this
person said this and then this person
said this. Like that's what's going to
happen. And then, you wouldn't believe
it, back when the 54th president of the
United States of America was just a
reporter, she said
[Laughter]
the 54th president of the United States,
simply went by Candace,
had a show at the time.
Very controversial.
Anyway, anyway, I don't know. I don't
know, man. Let me know what you guys
think about this whole thing. Do you
believe her or do you believe the
official The thing about it is the
official story is just falling apart.
And this is not the only place where
it's falling apart. It's falling apart
and looking weird on all different
levels. And then what Candace is saying,
you just need to know where her
information's coming from. But
it could be it could make it could be
true. could be true. And that's what
we'll have to hear when the court
hearing happens. Because here's the
thing. What is she going to say if Tyler
is just in court? You know, October 30th
is when it's supposed to happen. What is
she going to say when he's if he's just
like, "Yeah, then I talked to my father
and I left this note and then I sent
these text messages and then my father
convinced me to turn myself in, so I
did." So,
and then the father's like, "Yeah, he
turned himself in." Like what is she
going to say then? I don't know. You got
to just keep it moving. I guess that's
you kind of just got to be like ah next
thing. Sorry guys, but uh but that's
what you're supposed to do, you know.
And admittedly, like most people who are
in these positions, they always talk
about getting things wrong. And
you know, I know for the people
watching, they feel like, no, it's not
okay to get things wrong. It's 100% okay
to get things wrong when you're
researching things and reporting on
things and constantly trying to figure
out what's going on because you only can
act with the information available. If
you have sources, if you're lucky enough
to have sources, that's one thing. If
you're just looking at, you know,
mainstream and alternative media outlets
and they're just giving you information,
like that's the only information you
have. And then you have to have
discernment to be able to read into the
lines, uh, read in between the lines.
And I'm just not so sure everything
she's saying is completely wrong. So
that's where I'm at with it. Just wanted
to bring you guys that just in case
you've seen it. Now you have a little
bit of a better better handle on it.
Other than that, I'm out of here.
