Candace Owens Exposes White House Military Email Ordering Amplification of Viral Erika Kirk Clip After Shooting

Candace Owens reveals a leaked White House military office email sent approximately one hour after the shooting at the White House Correspondents Dinner. The communication allegedly ordered staff to amplify the viral Erika Kirk "I just want to go home" video across all platforms, describing it as their "strongest emotional response asset." Owens questions why this became a priority when critical security questions remained unanswered. She also exposes that Justin Streiff, Turning Point USA's COO appointed just seven days before Charlie's death, allegedly contacted both a mysterious billionaire named Pierre and a book printer on the day of the assassination to discuss increasing book orders, raising questions about unusual priorities during a national tragedy.

White House Email Reveals Coordinated Amplification Strategy

Candace Owens obtained what she describes as a White House military office email sent at approximately 9:49 p.m. Eastern time on the night of the shooting at the White House Correspondents Dinner. The shooting occurred at 8:36 p.m., and less than an hour later, at 9:25 p.m., CNN's Sarah Sidner posted the now-viral video of Erika Kirk saying "I just want to go home" to Instagram.

According to Owens, the email specifically addressed the Erika Kirk video clip, stating it was "driving our highest organic engagement of all incident related content across platforms" and represented their "strongest emotional response assets associated with the incident." The communication allegedly recommended that "all communication channels should amplify this clip further" and coordinate with "digital partners and our approved surrogates to elevate the reach and ensure dominant placement in the overnight information environment."

Owens notes she cannot show the actual email because the Department of Defense uses what's known as a "canary tactic" to root out leakers, implementing slight variations in emails sent to different recipients to identify sources. She does provide names of individuals copied on the email, including Steven Chung, Ryan Ripian, and Gustav Anderly, who works as an information systems manager at the White House Communications Agency in Arlington, Virginia.

The email apparently caused panic within the White House when officials realized too many people had received it. According to Owens, they attempted to rescind the email and sent multiple follow-up communications ordering recipients to delete it immediately, bringing in additional IT personnel to address what they considered an internal emergency.

Questions About Priorities During a National Security Crisis

Owens expresses confusion about why amplifying an emotional video clip would be a top priority just over an hour after a shooting incident involving both the President and Vice President. She notes that at 9:49 p.m., very few answers existed about the shooter's identity, whether arrests had been made, if additional threats remained, or if more shooters were involved.

"I just feel like this would not be the number one priority of these individuals in an environment where you don't have any answers," Owens states. "We need to now reach out to our surrogates, approved surrogates and get this amplified and circulated across all platforms. We want to see but by tomorrow morning this is number one. It's incredible."

She also reveals that she has been told the video was not recorded by Sarah Sidner herself, but rather was distributed to her by operatives who recorded the moment deliberately.

Justin Streiff's Alleged Phone Calls on Day of Assassination

Owens reports receiving verified information that Justin Streiff, who became COO of Turning Point USA just seven days before Charlie Kirk's death, made multiple phone calls on September 10th, 2025, the day of the assassination. Beyond the previously reported call to a mysterious billionaire named Pierre, Streiff allegedly contacted a former US Army interrogator turned book printer to discuss significantly increasing the print order for Charlie Kirk's upcoming book "Stop in the Name of God."

According to Owens' sources, Streiff reached out to discuss doubling an initial order of 25,000 to 50,000 books. He allegedly told the printer he would get Erika Kirk's permission and call back. After contacting Erica and receiving approval, he immediately circled back to confirm the increased order.

"I could never imagine approaching a widow after what should have been a shock murder," Owens comments. "I would imagine she'd be in a catatonic state, right? But I could never imagine thinking, 'Hey, I'm going to give her a call and ask if we can get those books going.'"

Conflict of Interest Concerns

Owens reveals that Justin Streiff holds another full-time position beyond his COO role at Turning Point USA. He also runs Winning Team Publishing, the conservative book publishing company started by Sergio Gor and Donald Trump Jr. This dual role raises potential conflict of interest questions, as Streiff would presumably benefit financially from high book sales of Charlie Kirk's work.

She notes that Sergio Gor, described as "Israel's guy" and the "Trump whisperer," was White House deputy chief of staff at the time of Charlie's death and maintained close collaboration with Charlie's office, with employees reportedly moving between both offices. Gor was later moved to become ambassador to India following what Owens describes as a "bust up" with Elon Musk.

Erika Kirk notably flew across the country to Washington DC for Gor's ambassador appointment ceremony, leaving her children shortly after her husband's death to attend what Owens characterizes as a relatively minor event that "could have been a text."

The Missing Money Investigation

Owens revisits information about Charlie Kirk allegedly discovering missing funds from Turning Point Action shortly before his death. She states that an outside source initially told her Charlie mentioned $10 million was missing, and this was later confirmed by someone inside the organization who overheard Justin Streiff "yelling about missing money" and that "all of the money was missing from Turning Point Action."

Turning Point Action is headed by Tyler Bowyer, who Owens previously reported built a "super feed back door" that pays Lori Frantzve, Erika Kirk's mother. Charlie had announced an internal Doge-style audit at the same time he promoted Justin Streiff, seven days before his assassination.

"If there was money missing, if that pans out and that's true, and Charlie discovered there was money missing, and then he established this Doge to audit himself internally, I would consider that to be an interesting lead," Owens states. "Did Charlie suddenly realize that money was evaporating out of his company? I think he did."

Nick Shirley Responds to Criticism

Owens addresses Nick Shirley's response to her previous episode questioning his claims of infiltrating dangerous Brazilian gangs in 48 hours. Jessica Reed Kraus, known as House in Habit, defended Shirley by noting that two of his elementary school teachers reached out to praise him as "a smart, sweet, kind kid."

Owens finds this defense humorous and irrelevant to the credibility questions at hand. "We're not trying to get you into Harvard. We don't need letters of recommendation from your kindergarten teacher about the fact that you sharpened your pencil on your own," she responds. "This is just not at all relevant to whether or not we believe that you infiltrated the most dangerous gang in Brazil in 48 hours."

She notes that Brazilian commenters have pointed out that police won't enter PCC gang territory, yet viewers are expected to believe an American YouTuber with a camera and microphone gained access in two days. Some Brazilians have noted that gangs offer paid tours for tourists, which would explain the access without requiring actual "infiltration."

France Updates: New Excuse for Macron Slap

Owens provides an update on the viral video of Brigitte Macron slapping Emmanuel Macron at the Hanoi airport in May 2025. After initially claiming nothing happened, then saying they were joking around, French media has rolled out a new explanation: Brigitte was angry after seeing text messages between her husband and an exiled Iranian actress named Golshifteh Farahani.

Owens finds this implausible given widespread speculation about Emmanuel Macron's sexuality and the nature of his relationship with his former teacher. She sees the story as serving dual purposes: explaining the slap while targeting an Iranian figure amid broader geopolitical tensions with Iran.

Additional Revelations About Turning Point USA

Owens reports that Turning Point USA is now paying chapter leaders at universities to prevent chapters from closing, something that was never done under Charlie Kirk's leadership. She characterizes this as evidence of declining organic interest and another failure under Erika Kirk's leadership.

She also notes that event attendance has dropped significantly, with students reportedly unwilling to purchase tickets for events featuring Erika Kirk. The organization is allegedly pulling her from scheduled appearances due to lack of interest.

Closing Thoughts on Transparency and Truth

Throughout the episode, Owens emphasizes the importance of public transparency, particularly in legal proceedings. She reflects on her own experience agreeing to private arbitration with The Daily Wire and now understanding why powerful entities prefer non-public dispute resolution.

"When things are public, the public can look in and they can see exactly what's going on," she states, connecting this to the Sixth Amendment's right to a public trial. She thanks viewers for supporting the show's independence through merchandise purchases, allowing her to continue reporting without concern for making media organizations or sponsors uncomfortable with her content.
