Voluntary Charity and Helping Others

No, because this little group right here will consider ourselves good people who want to help other people. We have a surplus; other people around here who live in apartments have a shortage, and we thought they deserve it because we have the extra that we are going to use.

Charity Without Government Coercion

But they're going to still give it to you, so you did that without government telling you to do it. We did it because we're good people. What's your excuse? No, I give the charity, I give back. Yeah, so I think that's the way that society should work outside of confiscatory government programs.

The Contrast with Socialist Programs

Unlike in socialist [systems], they'll put a gun to your head and they'll say you got to give toilet paper to somebody else.
