Charlie Kirk Confronts LeBron James' National Anthem Protest and IBM's Shocking Anti-White Discrimination Policy at AmericaFest

Charlie Kirk exposes the hypocrisy of billionaire elites like LeBron James who refuse to stand for the national anthem while benefiting from American prosperity. At Turning Point USA's America =Fest, the largest multi-day conservative event in history with 13,000 attendees, Kirk tackles IBM's exposed discriminatory hiring practices, the Senate hearing room scandal, and the weaponization of AI through woke ideology. From discussing the future of American education to calling out corporate America's embrace of divisive racial policies, this conversation reveals why loving America has become radical while hating it is considered fashionable.

The Biggest Conservative Gathering in American History

At 1 p.m. Eastern on a Saturday night in Phoenix, an unprecedented gathering took place. Turning Point USA's AmericaFest drew 13,000 attendees, marking the biggest multi-day event in conservative history. Charlie Kirk, joined by podcast hosts and special guests, delivered an electrifying message about the state of American culture, education, and values.

Kirk credited the Turning Point USA staff for their tireless work throughout the year, noting that the event represents a culmination of grassroots organizing on college campuses and in churches across the nation. The team worked sleepless nights to ensure attendees had a life-changing experience, executing on a standard of excellence that few events achieve.

LeBron James Refuses to Stand: The Ingratitude of American Elites

The conversation turned to LeBron James' refusal to stand during the national anthem at an NBA game. While everyone around him rose with hands over hearts, the billionaire basketball player remained seated in his pink sweater, visibly unmoved.

UFC fighter Colby Covington delivered a scathing response: "If you hate America so much and you don't like this country that gave you a billion dollars, leave it or come deal with me. Go to China, go to these sweatshops that you employ, all these laborers, use these women and pay them pennies on the dollar to make your millions. You're a coward, you're a spineless coward."

Kirk explained why this seemingly small gesture matters so much: "It's a micro of the macro. The macro is we have the richest people that have benefited so greatly from this country that are filled with ingratitude and they've become bitter brats. This country has treated LeBron James so well, has blessed him beyond his imagination, and he can't even stand."

He contrasted James with basketball legends Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordan, both of whom would never disrespect the country that made them successful. Kirk noted that James appears more loyal to the Chinese Communist Party than to America, stating that if Xi Jinping walked into a room, James would say "sir, yes sir" to his true master.

The discussion highlighted a fundamental shift in American culture. A century ago, the robber barons like Carnegie, Rockefeller, and JP Morgan, whatever their faults, loved America. Today's billionaire class, with rare exceptions like Elon Musk, demonstrates open contempt for the country that enabled their wealth.

IBM's Shocking Discrimination: The Ten Commandments of Woke Ideology

James O'Keefe, present at AmericaFest, broke a massive story exposing IBM's discriminatory practices. An internal video showed IBM CEO Arvind Krishna openly discussing giving bonuses only to Black employees while withholding them from white employees, and firing executives who refused to discriminate in hiring.

Even more disturbing, IBM maintains an official "Allyship Ten Commandments" document that includes statements like "understand that only white people are racist" and "accept that white people are responsible for dismantling racism." The full list reveals a deeply troubling corporate ideology:

  • Openly acknowledge privilege and systemic racism exist and result in trauma
  • Never question the reality of our black friends and colleagues
  • Reject the idea that race is political
  • Accept that white people are responsible for dismantling racism
  • Understand only white people are racist
  • Know the black community owes us nothing in this work
  • Require acknowledgment and repair of inevitable mistakes
  • Is never rooted in white saviorism
  • See the black community as a group of individuals and not as a monolith
  • Does not seek recognition or praise for a job well done

Kirk connected this to IBM's massive investments in artificial intelligence, explaining the danger: "AI is becoming a woke super weapon. At some point, something has to tell the AI what is true and what is good. The IBM code of ethics, these Ten Commandments, are quietly going to be inputted into the AI of tomorrow."

He warned that while AI's Terminator-like potential is concerning, the more immediate danger is giving the woke mind virus a thermonuclear weapon to redesign society. When people ask AI questions about racism, truth, and morality, the answers will be filtered through these deeply flawed ideological frameworks.

Elon Musk responded to the IBM story, recognizing the connection between woke culture and AI development. Kirk praised Musk as having prophetic ability to see dangers before they materialize, noting that Musk's urgent warnings about the "woke mind virus" stem from understanding that AI could become an authoritative source of misinformation, presenting ideologically driven answers as objective truth.

The Senate Hearing Room Scandal and Elite Depravity

A Senate staffer was caught on video engaging in sexual activity in a Senate hearing room. NBC News' headline described the individual as "alleged by conservative outlets" to have committed the act, despite video evidence. The staffer worked for Senator Ben Cardin.

Kirk called it "pure and simple Sodom and Gomorrah stuff," noting a pattern of desecrating what was once sacred. He pointed to other examples: a transgender individual going topless on the White House lawn, the pride flag displayed center stage at White House events, Dylan Mulvaney receiving special White House access, and cocaine being found in the West Wing.

What made the scandal worse was the staffer's response. Rather than taking responsibility, he issued what Kirk called "the most millennial response," claiming to be a victim of homophobia and threatening legal action against those criticizing him. He wrote: "This has been a difficult time for me as I've been attacked for who I love to pursue this political agenda."

The group discussed how America's enemies use such incidents for propaganda. Kirk explained that Russia doesn't just mock these events, they use them to rally domestic support. Vladimir Putin gives speeches telling Russians that America's "overtly aggressive gay agenda" is what they're fighting against in Ukraine. He shows them examples like this and says the West wants to bring this depravity to Russia.

Kirk noted that the Ukrainian Armed Forces spokesperson for two years was Sarin Ashton Cerillo, a transgender individual, which Putin uses to frame the conflict as traditionalism versus the excesses of modernity. While not endorsing Putin, Kirk acknowledged that when Russia makes it illegal to perform transgender surgeries on children, that's actually a good policy, regardless of the source.

Building the University of Tomorrow: Elon Musk and Educational Reform

The conversation turned to Elon Musk's announcement that he's investing $100 million to establish a new university in Austin, Texas. The university will focus on STEM education, offering instruction in math, science, engineering, and physics with hands-on learning experiences and simulations. Additionally, Musk plans to build K-12 schools that will teach subjects beyond STEM, initially enrolling around 50 students with plans to scale over time.

When asked what kind of school they would build, each participant offered unique perspectives:

Kirk emphasized combining mind, body, and soul. Students would need to maintain physical fitness and a certain BMI, commit to spiritual development, and develop their minds through classical education. The key foundation: acknowledging objective truth exists in the universe. He explained that wokeness falls apart the moment you accept natural laws that transcend individual existence. As Western higher education has dismissed objective truth, woke ideology has become ascendant.

One participant suggested bringing back formal debate traditions, where students present arguments, hear counterpoints, offer rebuttals, and receive peer review. This teaches logic and critical thinking rather than just loud arguments.

The idea of body cameras for teachers generated strong support. Parents should be able to log in and see what's being taught to their children, just as dog owners can check on their pets at doggy daycare. If taxpayers fund public schools, they have a moral right to know what's happening in classrooms.

Kirk proposed requiring parental involvement as a condition of enrollment. Parents would attend monthly sessions to learn better parenting skills, share successful strategies, and stay informed about their children's education. The focus would be leadership development, with parents taking responsibility rather than outsourcing education entirely to schools.

The consensus: traditional university education may not survive another generation in its current form. The current system is unsustainable, with teachers outnumbering conservatives 11 to 1, creating indoctrination factories rather than education institutions. The college debt crisis, combined with worthless degrees, has made the return on investment questionable for many majors.

The Housing Crisis: 90% Increase in Mortgage Payments Under Biden

Average monthly mortgage payments on new homes have surged 90% since the start of the Biden presidency, reaching $3,322 in the third quarter of the year. Interest rates exceeding 7% combined with rising housing prices have made homeownership increasingly unattainable for average Americans.

The discussion revealed that in 47 of the top 50 metropolitan areas in America, renting is now significantly cheaper than buying, often by $1,000 or more per month. Only three metros—Pittsburgh, Birmingham Alabama, and Jacksonville Florida—still favor buyers financially.

Kirk's team explained that while the government claims inflation is down and the economy is fine, this represents one truth and one lie. Yes, inflation is coming down, but the economy isn't fine. The Federal Reserve's aggressive interest rate increases to tame inflation have made housing unaffordable for millions of Americans.

Even if rates decline to 5.75% or 6% over the next year as predicted, they won't return to previous lows. The math simply doesn't support buying for most Americans right now. The American dream hasn't died, they argued, but it has changed. It's now about mobility, flexibility, and low overhead rather than traditional homeownership.

Instead of building equity in a house, young people should focus on building wealth in investment portfolios, digital wallets, and savings accounts. When the market eventually turns in 2, 5, or 10 years, they'll be cash-rich and able to buy. Meanwhile, they'll have extra capital to support churches, private schools, or organizations doing good work in America.

The conversation noted that 94% of Americans believe owning a home is a fixture in the American dream, yet less than half believe they'll ever be able to afford one. This represents a fundamental shift in what's possible for average Americans under current economic policies.

The War on White People: From Boston to New York

The discussion addressed what many see as systemic discrimination against white Americans. Kirk pointed to the mayor of Boston holding segregated Christmas parties where white people aren't allowed, and dozens of colleges establishing black-only dormitories.

Perhaps most disturbing, New York City prioritized people of color for life-saving monoclonal antibodies during COVID until they got caught. The headline read: "New York City will consider race when distributing life-saving COVID treatments." They were literally distributing medical care based on race, with white people forced to wait.

Kirk warned this is heading toward an AI-based social credit system where white people have points docked against them while people of color receive special tokens. He called it "a reconfiguration of racial apartheid, the death of meritocracy, and a backdoor way to destroy Western Civilization."

The University of Michigan's new Hippocratic Oath for doctors and nurses was cited as another example of how medical professionals are being trained with woke ideology rather than focusing on treating all patients equally based on need.

Kirk emphasized this is a top-down revolution, not a grassroots movement. Regular Americans of all backgrounds reject this toxicity. The elites are pushing an anti-white, anti-Western, anti-Christian agenda that will eventually reach a boiling point as grassroots Americans refuse to tolerate it.

Standing for America: The Message of AmericaFest

Kirk concluded with a powerful observation about what separates AmericaFest attendees from the elite class. When celebrities like Bette Midler, Barbra Streisand, or Cher threaten to leave America if their preferred candidate loses, they never follow through. But the Americans at AmericaFest take the opposite position.

"If the bad guys win, we're not going anywhere," Kirk declared. "That's what makes us different. I'm going to raise my grandkids here. It might become a dystopian hellscape, but I'm not leaving. You can't force me out. I'm never going to give up. I'm going to be an annoying mosquito in your ear for as long as I have breath."

This encapsulates the spirit of the event and the broader movement. AmericaFest isn't about partisan politics in the traditional sense. Fifty years ago, such an event would have included Kennedy Democrats and Rockefeller Republicans united in love of country. The fact that loving America is now considered radical while hating it is fashionable represents a fundamental problem.

Kirk noted this isn't good for the country. Patriotism should transcend party lines. Yet it's become abundantly clear that Republicans and conservatives love America more than liberals and certainly more than progressives. In elite society in places like Aspen, Martha's Vineyard, and Sun Valley, you get extra points for hating America and weird looks for saying the country is amazing.

The 13,000 people gathered at AmericaFest represent something different: everyday Americans, plumbers, electricians, welders, parents, and students who are done with powerful elites using their platforms to destroy the country. They're the people who understand that ingratitude from billionaires who've benefited enormously from American opportunity represents a sickness that must be confronted.

As Kirk put it regarding LeBron James and others like him: "Leave the country. You have a billion dollars. We don't need you. The country has not been enriched by your dribbling around and shooting. You're a bad person. We don't need you. In fact, the country would probably be better if you went to mainland China."

This message resonated throughout AmericaFest: America's future belongs to those who love her, not those who despise her while enjoying her prosperity.
