[00:04] a Doge style audit at Turning Points

[00:06] USA. He confided that there were

[00:08] significant money problems, uh, possible

[00:11] embezzlement, maybe fraud. Um, he wanted

[00:14] to get to the bottom of it. Why were

[00:15] they burning through cash so quickly?

[00:17] That seems odd. Um, here's the memo that

[00:19] he sent to staff just 8 days before he

[00:22] was assassinated on September 2nd. He

[00:25] wrote this. Um, and he lays out in this

[00:28] memo his plans for the audit. He tasked

[00:29] his his new COO Justin Stif with

[00:32] assembling a team to boost efficiency,

[00:34] cut costs, align metrics, reshape the

[00:36] company culture. Insiders knew that what

[00:39] was going on and they said that Charlie

[00:42] was concerned about how they were

[00:43] burning through so much cash so quickly.

[00:45] Where was all this money coming from?

[00:47] And by the way, where was it all going?

[00:49] Was it being spent on vendors? Like

[00:51] ridiculous amounts for vendors at

[00:53] different live events? Like where was

[00:54] all this money going? Then right after

[00:56] his death, investigative journalist

[00:58] Brian Ference um oh then this right

[01:01] after his death, Brian Ference wrote

[01:02] this. Investigative journalist Brian

[01:04] Fence said, "Maybe we should be

[01:05] transparent about the TPUSA donor list,

[01:09] what foreign countries they represent,

[01:10] where the money went, and why Tyler

[01:12] Boyer cancelled the Doge style audit and

[01:15] culture change Charlie Kirk ordered as

[01:17] his last wishes." Hm. Yeah. Why would

[01:20] Tyler Boyer cancel Charlie's final big

[01:22] wish? A big companywide directive. It's

[01:25] kind of odd, isn't it? To audit all of

[01:27] this funny money. Wouldn't you want to

[01:29] get to the bottom of that? It's not just

[01:30] investigate investigative journalists

[01:32] like Brian asking these questions. Now,

[01:34] dozens of longtime TPUSA donors are

[01:37] asking and saying the very same thing.

[01:38] They've been making public statements

[01:39] about it online. They're pulling their

[01:41] donations because they smell something

[01:44] funny going on here and they want

[01:46] answers. They want answers about

[01:48] Charlie's death. They want answers about

[01:50] the money, where it was going, where it

[02:33] elected state committeeman as well. And

[02:36] at that point um there was objections

[02:38] over uh seating the well electing the

[02:42] now a GOP chairwoman Gina Swabota

[02:45] regarding her eligibility because she

[02:47] moved districts. And Tyler Boyer at the

[02:49] time was backing her. So he he uh pushed

[02:52] that through. He just lied to everyone

[02:55] like a thousand people on stage. Pushed

[02:57] it through. He was later recorded in the

[02:59] lobby admitting that he lied. Uh and

[03:02] then in less than a year he turned

[03:03] around and is you know staging a coup

[03:05] against that same uh chairwoman Gina

[03:08] Swabota that he endorsed less than a

[03:10] year ago. So that raised some questions

[03:12] uh along with pushing really the ballot

[03:15] chasing and targeting of low propensity

[03:18] Republican voters uh which if you're if

[03:20] you're doing mail and ballots that often

[03:22] results in historic losses for

[03:24] Republicans. It's a bad strategy. Um

[03:28] they don't do anything on election

[03:29] integrity. They don't want to end the

[03:31] machines because they make all their

[03:32] money from bread and butter. So that

[03:34] that's really when I when I smelled a

[03:36] rat, started looking into Tyler Boyer,

[03:38] TurningPoint USA, and what they were

[03:40] doing. Um, in regards to, you know, this

[03:43] post uh from from current donors,

[03:46] there's just a couple quotes, you know,

[03:48] that I'll read. Uh, basically, one of

[03:51] them is saying they've been a TPSUA, uh,

[03:53] TPUSA donor for years. They love Charlie

[03:56] Kirk. Uh but this immediately moving on

[04:01] after Charlie Kirk's assassination

[04:03] without questioning any of the obvious

[04:05] anomalies surrounding his death. Uh we

[04:08] need to seek truth about what happened

[04:09] on that horrific day and seek real

[04:12] justice for Charlie. Uh and some of

[04:15] these are very large donors, some of

[04:17] them are very small donors. But one of

[04:19] them said, "Agreed. I've stopped my

[04:20] donations. I'm not huge, but $25,000 a

[04:24] year is $25,000 a year." And then

[04:27] another one said, "I donate every year

[04:29] to TPUSA. I too am halting my donations

[04:32] until I see the Doge audit completed and

[04:36] a change in your culture."

[04:38] >> Was this a deliverable for donors? What

[04:42] Charlie's wish for the audit? Because

[04:44] when I first saw it, it broke after his

[04:46] death immediate in the immediate

[04:48] aftermath. And I figured that it had to

[04:50] do with outlays, with expenditures.

[04:52] Where's all the money going? But now we

[04:54] see how often he was losing donors. So

[04:57] there has to be also questions about

[05:00] inlays, not just outlays.

[05:03] And so do you think that, you know, his

[05:05] donors were ever supposed to see this

[05:07] audit?

[05:09] >> Well, uh, that's a good question. And

[05:10] let me address a couple of things there.

[05:20] questioning these donors and some of the

[05:23] financial practices because basically

[05:25] what uh TurningPoint USA does is they're

[05:27] a uh 501c3

[05:31] and if you look at where some of their

[05:33] funds have come from they've had very

[05:35] large donations from other organizations

[05:39] uh NOS's typically which received US aid

[05:42] funding.

[05:43] >> So uh there was a post and they they

[05:45] they dispute oh we never received any US

[05:47] aid funding. Well, not directly, but you

[05:49] were one donation away from, you know,

[05:52] these these NOS's that received millions

[05:55] or hundreds of thousands and then they

[05:57] turned right around and donated, you

[05:59] know, hundreds of thousands to to

[06:00] Turning Point USA. So, that's one source

[06:02] of the funding is US aid, uh, which is,

[06:05] you know, been identified as fraudulent,

[06:07] a misuse of taxpayer money. There's a

[06:09] lot of, um,

[06:10] >> Yes. Also, they fund the drunk trade,

[06:13] have been for years in Asia. So, okay,

[06:16] go on.

[06:17] >> Exactly. And then there's a lot of talk

[06:18] that a lot of these donations again

[06:20] because they hide their donors are

[06:22] coming from maybe Apac maybe uh directly

[06:27] from Israel. I mean there was a lot of

[06:29] commentary from uh Netanyahu's

[06:32] government saying you know they were

[06:34] making donations to TPUSA or had

[06:36] discussions about donations with Charlie

[06:38] Kirk. So I think there is evidence that

[06:41] um they were d TPUSA was directly taking

[06:43] foreign donations in the past. uh

[06:46] Charlie wanted to stop that. Um so I I

[06:49] think it's very concerning the fact that

[06:51] this this Doge audit appears to have

[06:53] been cancelled. It was kind of

[06:55] downplayed as oh this is a normal every

[06:57] year audit. I think Andrew Kovvet, the

[07:00] spokesperson for TPSUA, said that. But

[07:02] that's not true. Charlie doesn't call

[07:04] for a culture change and it's not like

[07:06] every audit because your founder was

[07:08] just assassinated. So um this is not

[07:10] like every audit. It really needs to be

[07:12] looked into. That's what the de the the

[07:14] donors are demanding. And they're saying

[07:17] as soon as they they went public with

[07:19] that, they started beingounded by

[07:22] Turning Point USA uh you know employees

[07:25] and and their their little shills that

[07:27] they have online. And it's interesting

[07:29] to

[07:35] they started beingounded. How so? So, so

[07:38] one donor said as soon as he posted that

[07:40] that he was was withholding his

[07:42] donations, he immediately got a bunch of

[07:45] messages

[07:47] uh online um basically harassment from

[07:50] people saying, "Oh, you never donated.

[07:53] You're a liar." Um you know, you need to

[07:56] keep donating. Uh you know, threatening

[07:58] to like dox them. And I just want to

[08:01] draw the um comparison that you know it

[08:05] there there was another scandal that

[08:06] TPUSA was involved with this this

[08:08] Halloween costume from teachers in uh

[08:11] the Tucson school district of Vale. And

[08:14] they wore these costumes that had

[08:15] nothing to do with Charlie Kirk uh at

[08:18] all. And uh again, Andrew Kulovit and uh

[08:21] Tyler Ber and Jake Hoffman were posting

[08:23] and reposting basically saying, "Oh,

[08:26] look, they're glorifying Charlie Kirk's

[08:28] assassination." And these teachers were

[08:30] they were doxed, they were threatened,

[08:33] they were harassed, and it was all a

[08:35] lie. And the school, you know,

[08:37] apologized for it. They they said, you

[08:39] know, we're saddened by the situation.

[08:41] Had nothing to do with Charlie Kirk. You

[08:43] know, we do apologize. we won't wear the

[08:45] shirts again, but people are being

[08:48] targeted and threatened as a result of

[08:50] this. And that's it's a pattern of

[08:52] behavior for TPUSA that um as as soon as

[08:56] they don't like something, they go after

[08:57] you. They harass you, they dox you, they

[09:01] threaten you online, they try to cancel

[09:03] you. Um and they're doing that with

[09:05] their own donors. Now,

[09:07] >> where do things stand now with this Doge

[09:09] style audit? Because I think from your

[09:12] your reporting on this that Tyler Ber

[09:15] canled the audit. I mean it's pretty

[09:17] brazen. I mean 8 days before his

[09:19] assassination, he's calling for this

[09:21] audit, you know, and you know and and

[09:24] that would be something you would think

[09:26] as a company, we want to honor Charlie

[09:28] Kirk's maybe last companywide large

[09:31] directive to change the culture to find

[09:34] out where all this money is going. Nope.

[09:58] progress? Has it been cancelled? Are you

[11:08] the same thing. Like, you guys are

[11:10] you're you're attacking other people for

[11:12] questioning what c what caused the death

[11:14] of Charlie Kirk and you're moving so

[11:16] quickly beyond it. I'm pulling my money.

[11:47] donors that dare cancel your uh your

[11:50] your donations, how dare you. And uh I

[11:53] mean, it's it's just crazy. Even after

[11:55] both Kovet and Hoffman put out

[11:57] statements walking back, you know, the

[11:59] TPUs lies about the Halloween costumes,

[12:01] but then they just double down again and

[12:03] say, "Well, you know, it's it's bad that

[12:05] they're that they're doing this anyways.

[12:07] Never mind about Charlie Kirk, but

[12:09] teachers shouldn't wear this these kind

[12:10] of costumes." and they're just still

[12:12] threatening them, still harassing them

[12:13] even though the lie has been completely

[12:16] proved to be false.

[12:18] >> And it's not just TPUSA, right? It's

[12:20] like TP TPUSA faith like there's other

[12:23] pieces of all of this and there's it's

[12:25] not just it's not just this main body

[12:27] and there's questions across the board.

[12:34] USA is the 501c3 and for many years, if

[12:37] you look at their financials, uh they've

[12:39] been donating directly to the 501c4,

[12:43] which is Turning Point Action, which is

[12:45] a political group. Um that in of itself

[12:48] is an is a violation of the IRS rules

[12:50] for um for nonprofits if you look at the

[12:53] IRS rules. Um and then they're basically

[12:56] doing some kind of shell game. It looks

[12:59] many people have uh alleged or compared

[13:02] it to Enron the way Enron had so many

[13:04] shell companies. There are dozens of uh

[13:07] TPUSA related packs um nonprofits, TPUSA

[13:12] Faith. Um there's in other countries um

[13:16] every state has multiple ones. If you

[13:18] look at in Wisconsin, I've written about

[13:20] this before, there was uh something like

[13:23] 13,000 14,000 or I'm sorry 140,000 in

[13:27] like donations

[13:29] uh all throughout the state basically in

[13:31] a coup attempt of the state parties and

[13:34] the county parties there. Um so they're

[13:36] running it all through these shell

[13:37] companies, these shell packs. Really, it

[13:39] all needs to be audited by a third

[13:41] party. Um because there there's also

[13:44] allegations that where is the money

[13:46] going? Uh some of it appears to be going

[13:48] to bribes has been alleged and the

[13:51] evidence shows that and then some of the

[13:53] money may have been embezzled or

[13:55] directly

[13:57] um directly directed to uh sub companies

[14:01] of the executives. For example, it's

[14:03] been alleged that Tyler Ber himself and

[14:05] for example Jake Hoffman owns many

[14:07] companies. Uh all that money comes in

[14:10] and they just do a no bid uh contract

[14:12] directly to vendors that they themselves

[14:15] own. So, this this nonprofit money is

[14:17] flowing

[14:19] >> and it's coming into the 501c4, maybe

[14:21] other shell companies, and it's going

[14:22] directly into their pockets.

[14:27] event. You know, don't have to bid it

[14:29] out at all. It'll just flow right into
