[00:00] Hello and welcome back for another
[00:02] episode of Patriotic Housewife. We are
[00:05] going to jump into the interview that
[00:07] Brian Harpool did with Shawn Ryan on the
[00:10] Shawn Ryan show and he is going to walk
[00:13] us through what happened on 910 when
[00:17] Charlie Kirk was killed. Let's jump
[00:19] right into that. I hope all is well
[00:21] guys. Be sure to like and share my
[00:24] content if you enjoy it. Subscribe to
[00:26] the channel. It's free. It helps me. It
[00:27] helps the channel.
[00:29] Let's jump into this and we will talk
[00:31] about it afterwards.
[00:34] >> I don't know, less than 10 meters off to
[00:36] his right. And um my area of
[00:39] responsibility just we had a big a lot
[00:42] of people coming up some staircases
[00:44] there and it was starting to fill in and
[00:46] and so I was watching that and uh um
[00:51] [sighs] I remember I heard the gunfire
[00:55] and then um I don't know if you've heard
[00:57] this but I heard that bullet slap him.
[01:01] My secret to confidence. That's
[01:06] >> Sorry, guys.
[01:08] Two seconds and we'll skip this. I don't
[01:11] know. I'm having such bad luck. I need
[01:13] to get it without ads.
[01:14] >> So, um so you hear two sounds actually.
[01:17] And so you hear uh the the actual shot
[01:20] and then you hear the bullet hit him in
[01:22] the neck like you hear it. And so in in
[01:25] in my head I had an attribution to that.
[01:27] I know what that is. And so, um, I
[01:31] turned and, uh, at the when I turned,
[01:34] started running, that's when Dan grabbed
[01:36] him. And I mean, this is a live fire
[01:39] event. It's not Everybody Everybody
[01:41] thinks in hindsight, well, this is a
[01:43] one-shot assassination. Nope. In in our
[01:46] heads,
[01:47] there's
[01:48] >> You don't know what that is.
[01:49] >> There's fire there. There there there's
[01:50] there's more to come, right? And so, uh,
[01:54] Dan, uh, uh, grabs Charlie and then
[01:58] >> who's Dan?
[01:59] >> Dan was the guy standing right next to
[02:01] Charlie, uh, when he got shot on the
[02:03] stage. And then I was to the right of
[02:06] Dan.
[02:06] >> Okay.
[02:07] >> And so, uh, he grabs him and then I turn
[02:12] and see him start to the ground, but
[02:15] then I'm just thinking gunfire. And then
[02:17] and he's leading to the ground because
[02:19] I'm on his right. Well, he was shot
[02:21] right here in the left of his neck. And
[02:24] so I jump down on top of Charlie to
[02:28] cover him because where we're at, it's
[02:31] concealment at best. It's a tableabling
[02:33] with cloth on it. So it's not hard
[02:35] cover. Uh so and guys, our guys are
[02:38] start piling back in and they're down
[02:40] putting a human shield around him, but
[02:42] it's still just concealment. It's not
[02:44] cover. And so I initially dove down on
[02:47] top of him and and just was on him
[02:51] almost face to face. And then when I was
[02:53] doing that, I went down I could see the
[02:54] wound. And so I immediately shoved my
[02:58] hand into the wound to stop uh the
[03:01] bleeding just trying to find the
[03:04] pressure. And it was coming out still
[03:06] and I'm on top of him like close. It was
[03:09] still coming out enough that it I guess
[03:12] it it squirted through my fingers and I
[03:14] could taste it on my lips. And so I was
[03:17] like, man, this this is a bad wound,
[03:20] right? And so um [clears throat]
[03:22] I was just pushing that and I don't I
[03:25] don't know at that time I know when you
[03:27] look at the clock I was on him within 5
[03:29] seconds and had my hands in him and then
[03:33] I don't know when I put the first uh
[03:36] piece of medical on him. It was sometime
[03:38] after that. Uh because it would I carry
[03:42] it right here. That's why you carry it
[03:43] on you. You got to have it there. So,
[03:46] but then I I remember pulling back away
[03:51] um and uh thinking, damn, this is bad.
[03:55] Like it it's coming out. And uh I don't
[03:58] remember saying this, but the guys told
[04:00] me, and you can kind of see it on the
[04:02] video. I said, "Uh, prep the car."
[04:05] And I just prepped him. you see the two
[04:08] guys just take off and um that car is
[04:11] prepped in position but why I mean doors
[04:14] are open the whole deal and then so um
[04:18] then so we're doing uh uh pressure
[04:21] control there and it's a croted artery
[04:23] you can't put a tourniquet on it
[04:25] obviously and then in in my head I'm
[04:27] like you know pack pressure man the the
[04:30] these what you can do for that wound but
[04:32] then so I'm [clears throat] on top and
[04:34] then I told the guys we got to expill
[04:36] Um, we're all out here in the open. Uh,
[04:39] we're trying to we're trying to give
[04:40] wound care and and we got to get off
[04:43] this X, right? And so, uh, but I just
[04:46] said, we're Xfilling. And so, we got up.
[04:49] I think it was like 15 16 seconds from
[04:52] the time the shot happened to the time
[04:54] we were picking him up and hit
[04:55] >> 15 to 16 seconds.
[04:57] >> That's what it was. Yeah. And so,
[04:59] >> that's fast. It And this is horrible,
[05:02] but
[05:02] >> it's fast to get an initial assessment,
[05:04] plug a hole, pick them up, move them.
[05:06] Yeah. And so it it's it it's just like
[05:08] dang. Um, and it is some horrible
[05:11] realities of it too that like I told the
[05:14] guys this and I I haven't
[05:32] you uh when I jumped down on him, he his
[05:36] he had dolls eyes
[05:38] and so I Like, man, these are wounds
[05:40] incompatible with life.
[05:43] >> You know,
[05:49] you want to take a break? Let's take a
[05:52] break.
[05:57] >> You want a minute? Good. [clears throat]
[06:04] >> [clears throat]
[06:29] >> Are you overwhelmed by your payday?
[06:31] >> Going to fast forward through this part,
[06:33] but
[06:35] the next portion is uh going to be him
[06:38] talking about
[06:40] the ride to the hospital and once they
[06:43] got to the hospital, a couple things
[06:45] that took place. And then I kind of want
[06:46] to discuss what he says because there's
[06:48] some stuff that to me I still haven't
[06:52] seen. And so I'm just wondering how
[06:55] that's possible. And and I don't know,
[06:57] maybe I'm crazy, but I I've never seen
[06:59] footage of some of the stuff that he
[07:01] makes claims about. I will say that it
[07:05] is really heartbreaking, you guys, to
[07:09] watch him go over
[07:12] watch him go over
[07:15] what went on, you know, in those moments
[07:19] after it happened.
[07:22] And to watch him get emotional, like I'm
[07:24] going to try not to get emotional
[07:25] because I just it's so traumatic. And
[07:28] even us at home who watch this on the
[07:30] TV, it was traumatic. I watched it live,
[07:33] it was like I I I I couldn't even
[07:35] believe what I saw. And actually, at
[07:36] first I was like, is this AI? I mean, I
[07:38] know that's crazy, but there's so much
[07:41] being done now with AI that I was like,
[07:43] I just don't think this is real. And
[07:46] then you realize like, holy crap,
[07:49] what I watched is real. this really just
[07:52] happened. And so I can't even imagine
[07:55] what that's like to have a relationship
[07:57] with Charlie Kirk and to be standing
[07:58] there and not only have a relationship
[08:00] with them, but you're in you're
[08:01] responsible for his safety and to be
[08:03] standing there and it's like your worst
[08:06] nightmare, right? You know, it's like I
[08:11] don't know. The the only thing I can
[08:13] relate it to is getting the call on a
[08:14] Sunday randomly that my my dad's dropped
[08:18] dead and you're like there there's no
[08:20] way this is happening. There's just no
[08:21] way. Like you're sitting there trying to
[08:23] convince yourself like what is what?
[08:25] Like it it just is that triggering um to
[08:29] where you're in that disbelief and I'm
[08:32] sure that there's a brief moment where
[08:33] you're like what? Like you know what I
[08:36] mean? And then you all of a sudden you
[08:37] start to go right and you can see the
[08:40] the state of shock I think in his face a
[08:43] little bit of you know he's reliving
[08:45] that moment back and it's it's you could
[08:47] see it's making him very
[08:50] very sick and it's that is sad to see.
[08:54] So, I'm just kind of letting it go
[08:56] through Shawn Ryan's ads really quick.
[08:58] And then once his ads are done, we'll
[09:02] bring it back up and watch the other
[09:04] part of this
[09:06] um interview. And like I said, it's just
[09:08] going to be about the hospital and about
[09:10] the car ride that I want to go over. So,
[09:16] they are back. So, let's bring this back
[09:19] up on screen
[09:21] and we will go over this part.
[09:30] Oh, no. You guys, hold on. Shoot.
[09:34] I think I just exited out. No. Hold on,
[09:37] you guys. Let me go back to YouTube.
[09:39] It's okay. It'll be like in my history.
[09:40] One second. Sorry. I can't believe I
[09:42] just did that, you guys. But um while I
[09:46] get to this cuz I
[09:48] of course I had to do that. Only make
[09:50] sense.
[09:53] Okay, here we go. Let's go back here. So
[09:56] sorry, you guys. I can't believe I did
[09:58] that. All right, let's finish watching
[10:02] this.
[10:11] Oh my gosh, we just can't win with this,
[10:13] you guys. Here.
[10:16] I just went through all of Sean Ryan's
[10:17] ads.
[10:43] And half the team pushes in. another
[10:46] half team drags from the other side.
[10:48] There was no comms for that. We just
[10:49] knew. He knew that's what we need to do.
[10:51] We've done that. He's done that. We
[10:53] We've got careers built on doing that
[10:55] real time.
[10:56] >> Sorry guys. I didn't even realize I
[10:58] didn't add it to the stage. I am just
[10:59] not having a very good very good filming
[11:01] day apparently. But here we are. We're
[11:03] back in business now and in training.
[11:07] And so um uh guys weren't helping.
[11:10] Justin gets in. He knows his job to
[11:12] drive. You know, that's his job. Dan
[11:14] jumps in. He knows he's Nav. And so
[11:16] we're back there. Rick, we pull him
[11:18] across. Uh Frank Turk and and it just
[11:21] jumps in the back and um and so uh he's
[11:25] a known. So I was like, "Yep, it's
[11:27] Frank, but I'm not going to fight him on
[11:29] it." Um Frank's there because Frank's
[11:31] hurt, you know, and it's cuz it's one of
[11:34] those things where you have dead kids on
[11:36] calls. And
[11:37] >> I don't want to be rude. I just pause
[11:39] this because he's going to go into right
[11:41] now about how Frank Turk like, you know,
[11:43] felt like Charlie was a son and like I
[11:45] wasn't going to deny him of getting in
[11:46] the SUV because his son is essentially
[11:48] dying. I just think that's a little bit
[11:50] weird to say. It's not really his son. I
[11:53] don't know. Am I heartless? Let me know
[11:54] in the comments. But I just think it's
[11:56] weird.
[11:57] >> You're not supposed to let the crime
[11:58] scene be contaminated, but I'm not going
[12:00] to deny a parent the ability to come in
[12:02] and say goodbye to their child. And
[12:05] Frank's many times said that Charlie
[12:07] felt like he was his son. I'm not going
[12:09] to deny him that. All this is running.
[12:13] And so, um, we get in. Charlie was a big
[12:17] man. Long. Um, we kind of laugh about it
[12:21] now, but, um, we get him in and, uh, but
[12:26] the door's not going to close. We know
[12:28] that. And I just say, "Go." And we
[12:31] didn't even attempt to close it. I told
[12:32] Justin, "Go, go, go." So, he takes off.
[12:35] Uh Dan's already got the route done. We
[12:38] know that because we've done it. And so,
[12:40] we take off in direct action.
[12:43] Uh we get out uh out onto the main road
[12:47] and um we we are in a a slick SUV. Uh no
[12:52] light sirens. And so, we're breaking our
[12:54] own intersections. Uh we're cutting our
[12:56] own traffic. Uh we're doing everything
[12:59] ourselves. Justin's driving. I mean,
[13:02] it's it's he's he's trained driver. I
[13:04] mean, that's what our guys go to driving
[13:06] school for, just for that. It's
[13:08] expensive. It costs a lot. It's a need
[13:11] and it paid off cuz he drove like a
[13:13] champion. Uh Dan's up in there calling
[13:17] out right lefts. This is next turn, 20
[13:19] me, you know, 200 meters left. So, he
[13:22] knows exactly where he's going.
[13:23] [clears throat] Rick and I are in the
[13:24] back.
[13:26] This is where it gets not funny, but you
[13:29] look back on it now. Um, we Rick pulled
[13:33] Charlie across and then I'm uh working
[13:36] off my kit and uh you always when you
[13:39] build a kit out like that, you build it
[13:42] to where the stuff you need the soonest
[13:44] or most important is on the outside,
[13:46] right? And so all the bleed control is
[13:49] right there in front. So I'm just
[13:51] working out of the out of the kit right
[13:53] there. And um um so I'm just you know
[13:58] packing pressure repack gets it gets
[14:02] saturated you don't take it out you just
[14:04] keep packing on top of it. The problem
[14:06] is we're going down the road and
[14:09] Charlie's so tall that his leg his left
[14:13] leg is down in the door and the door
[14:16] won't close. And so I'm on my knees with
[14:20] the door open with my butt hanging out
[14:22] of the side and I'm on my knees doing
[14:24] the medical and Justin's driving, you
[14:28] know, we're going 60, 80, 100. And Rick
[14:31] has me across the kit and my shirt so
[14:35] that I can use both hands to do the
[14:38] medical one.
[14:40] >> And so you don't fall out of the fucking
[14:42] car.
[14:42] >> So I don't fall out. And I just look at
[14:44] him and I don't need to say, "You got
[14:45] me." He's got me. I know he's got me.
[14:47] Rick's a brother. He's got the tattoo.
[14:50] And so I was like, he's got me. And so I
[14:53] just I'm just working medical. And uh
[14:56] Frank's praying out loud. Uh Rick's
[14:58] praying out loud. Um but does he have a
[15:01] pulse at this point?
[15:02] >> Um so there's no way
[15:08] in a situation like that, I'm not going
[15:10] to stop and take.
[15:11] >> I didn't know if somebody else had one
[15:13] or
[15:13] >> No. And so uh I have SPO2 monitor there.
[15:16] I've got all the stuff for it. I could
[15:17] have put it on, but it's irrelevant.
[15:20] [clears throat]
[15:20] >> It's irrelevant to treating that wound,
[15:23] >> right? And so, uh, I've got to stop that
[15:25] bleeding. That's my primary thing.
[15:28] >> And so, uh, whether he had a where he
[15:31] had a pulse then, it's unknown. Um, uh,
[15:34] the body is an amazing thing that can do
[15:36] things even when it's technically, you
[15:39] know.
[15:39] >> I also think this part is weird, you
[15:41] guys. Like, why is whether you have a
[15:44] pulse or not unknown? I mean, I
[15:45] obviously I know the wound was
[15:47] catastrophic. I mean, immediately like
[15:49] when you saw it, but typically you're
[15:51] still going to take a pulse.
[15:53] And you're not going to start CPR in a
[15:55] person without taking a pulse.
[15:57] >> Destroyed.
[15:58] >> Even though I'm pretty sure like I think
[16:00] we all knew he was gone already, but I'm
[16:01] just saying I I think that that part's
[16:03] odd too.
[16:04] >> And so, uh, my [clears throat] concern
[16:06] is bleed control. And so, I'm just, uh,
[16:09] Rick's got me. Justin's driving. Um,
[16:13] world's coming by. Uh, I'm working uh
[16:16] putting I end up putting uh about 36
[16:20] feet of uh uh dressing in him. Uh and
[16:25] then four uh 4x4s and then two hematic
[16:29] 4x4s.
[16:31] >> Uber Eats knows whenever you watch
[16:32] football, you get hungry. [music] And
[16:34] look, a buy one get one 10.
[16:39] >> Also, let me know what you guys think.
[16:41] How do you guys feel about him knowing
[16:43] these like the time frame like oh 15
[16:45] seconds and at 20 seconds and people had
[16:47] the timeline wrong in that instance?
[16:51] How is he how is he so accurate on how
[16:54] much time from the time you know that
[16:56] they started to aid Charlie to the time
[17:00] that they got him to the SUV. He's got
[17:02] all this time down. So crazy.
[17:04] >> So you're adding pressure as much as you
[17:06] can get. uh pressure, adding pressure.
[17:11] And so uh um we are heading to the
[17:14] hospital. You know, it's a known. We're
[17:16] heading there, breaking intersections.
[17:19] Uh we picked up a tail from PD somewhere
[17:23] along the way. Uh and I know some audio
[17:26] came out about that and I think they
[17:28] thought it was a secondary person that
[17:29] had been shot, you know, and and and but
[17:34] we didn't know if it was an active
[17:35] shooter. You know, everybody that says,
[17:37] "Oh, you should have treated him there
[17:39] and not moved him. Stop the bleeding."
[17:40] I'm like, "Well,
[17:42] yeah, I know. Same way." I was like,
[17:44] "Man, if it No, that's not medicine
[17:47] doesn't happen on the X." You know, any
[17:50] nothing happens. Somebody shoots at you,
[17:51] you get off the X, right? And so, um,
[17:55] and we didn't have cover. We
[17:56] >> just for anybody that's listening, that
[17:58] is rule number one. Law enforcement,
[18:01] military, any security, anything, get
[18:04] off the X. Yeah.
[18:07] >> And so
[18:07] >> rounds are coming in.
[18:08] >> Yeah. And so um we uh get to the
[18:12] hospital uh actually we make it to the
[18:15] hospital through the traffic. Um we got
[18:18] full wound pack in we get out and we
[18:20] carry in uh to the door. Well,
[18:23] >> which I will say does make sense now
[18:26] that I think about it. If you're coming
[18:27] from a military standpoint, you know, if
[18:30] you're at war and you're under attack,
[18:31] you're not going to give first aid, you
[18:33] know, when you're being fired at. So
[18:35] that makes sense.
[18:36] >> Once we make it into the door, we see a
[18:38] gurnie uh on the left hand side. We put
[18:41] him on a gurnie and then I will wheel
[18:42] him into a room. I start uh giving um uh
[18:48] the patient information uh to the staff
[18:52] there. Uh I end up getting on top of him
[18:55] and cutting the shirt that he had on off
[18:57] that white freedom shirt. And so I cut
[19:00] it off so they could get to him so that
[19:03] um
[19:05] I I I didn't articulate this to them,
[19:08] but I wanted to get that stuff off so
[19:10] they could put a defibrillator on him.
[19:14] And so uh um and then started talking
[19:17] about pushing drugs. And so I was back
[19:20] and forth with them on drugs and
[19:23] defibrillator
[19:24] and uh and so then um you know once I
[19:28] get that cut shirt off shirt cut off and
[19:30] moved out of the way you know there's
[19:31] enough of medical professionals in there
[19:34] and so I just want to get out of their
[19:36] way and so um got out of their way and
[19:39] walked out of the room and and stood
[19:41] outside the room and held guard on the
[19:44] outside door of the room so nobody else
[19:46] could come in there
[19:46] >> covered in Charlie's But yeah, I had it
[19:49] all over my face
[19:52] and uh
[19:55] my uh Rick and I had it all over our
[19:58] arms and uh our from about here down was
[20:02] just covered and uh yeah, it was Yeah, I
[20:08] I I feel bad for the uh hospital staff
[20:11] cuz we showed up looking like that and
[20:14] and they didn't know we were coming. Uh
[20:17] even though we we had called 911,
[20:20] but I don't know what happened that. So
[20:22] we show up and guys got blood all over
[20:25] their face and carrying a guy with blood
[20:28] solid on my pants and shoes. And so then
[20:33] I just stood out there and then finally
[20:35] this lady and I I'm I'm feel horrible.
[20:38] She um
[20:40] uh came up to me and she said, "Hey,
[20:43] come with me."
[20:44] and she took me in a room and physically
[20:47] washed my face and and uh my hands and
[20:50] stuff, the nurse that was there, the
[20:52] hospital.
[20:54] So was like, man, what humanity, [sighs]
[20:59] man. [clears throat]
[21:02] So it's there was a you saw a lot of
[21:05] beautiful things. A lot a lot of
[21:08] beautiful things.
[21:11] Rick was Rick was there. Same thing with
[21:14] him. He's he's going through the same
[21:16] thing. He's covered in it. And and
[21:17] Justin's there. And uh um uh Dan was
[21:22] there. And everybody's got this look of
[21:24] bewilderment like, "Hey." And I'm like,
[21:27] "And so I I told Justin um I said,
[21:31] "Check on the men and call your kids."
[21:37] Cuz I was worried about them. us when we
[21:40] left.
[21:41] >> So, I'm going to pause it there. That is
[21:43] the description of the incident from the
[21:45] time Charlie was shot basically until
[21:48] the time that they found out that
[21:50] Charlie was deceased.
[21:53] So, the only thing that I'm I'm stopping
[21:55] right there is where he's talking about
[21:57] that his phone was actually left at the
[21:59] scene. It fell out of his pocket or fell
[22:01] off of his hip, whatever he had it on.
[22:03] And so, he couldn't call to let his
[22:05] family know that he was okay and he
[22:06] didn't remember phone numbers. So, um,
[22:10] the rest of the story as well right
[22:12] there is just that there were security
[22:14] or people that were with Charlie's team
[22:16] that were still at UVU that were helping
[22:19] the police with uh going through the
[22:22] scene and seeing if there was anybody
[22:26] that needed to be looked into at the
[22:28] scene.
[22:29] So, that's that's just like the gist of
[22:33] what took place that day. I have so many
[22:36] questions and I'm not even saying this
[22:37] to be mean. Genuinely in this interview,
[22:40] you can feel the emotion coming off of
[22:42] Brian. Like I said, as a friend, as
[22:45] somebody who had a relationship with
[22:46] Charlie Kirk for people who didn't like
[22:48] me or anyone else who didn't know him,
[22:50] but it affected me the way it did. I
[22:52] can't even imagine someone close to him.
[22:54] So, you can see the pain, right? But,
[22:59] uh, am I the only one, and let me know
[23:02] in the comments, guys. Am I the only one
[23:04] who didn't see blood on anyone's face? I
[23:07] I think I did see a video at some point
[23:09] because now there's just been so much
[23:10] footage where people did have blood on
[23:12] their pants it looked like in their
[23:15] shirts, but I never saw any with blood
[23:17] all over their face. I never saw people
[23:18] with blood all over their arms. I still
[23:21] when you look at footage from behind the
[23:22] table and like where was the first aid?
[23:25] Am I hallucinating?
[23:28] I feel like maybe I'm hallucinating
[23:30] because some of the stuff he describes,
[23:33] we don't see. We didn't see. And I feel
[23:36] like the footage that has circulated
[23:39] proves more that those things didn't
[23:41] happen.
[23:43] I hate saying that. I almost feel guilty
[23:45] now because you watch someone in pain
[23:47] talking about an experience. But let me
[23:50] know what you guys think and where
[23:51] you're at because I just I don't know.
[23:54] Did I miss footage? If I miss footage,
[23:56] you guys, please like give me the
[23:57] footage because I would love to see what
[23:59] I missed. I never want to be um talking
[24:02] about something that I didn't like see
[24:05] or fully look into. I fully looked at
[24:08] tons of footage and never saw
[24:12] any blood on anybody. So maybe I just
[24:16] maybe I haven't seen all the footage. I
[24:17] don't know. Maybe there's something
[24:18] circulating on the internet that I just
[24:19] haven't gotten a hold of. But since this
[24:21] entire thing happened, I have been like
[24:24] literally a psychopath. I'm pretty sure
[24:25] my husband doesn't even want to hang out
[24:26] with me because of all of the podcasts
[24:29] and the the information that I've gone
[24:30] through. It's been Charlie Kirk for the
[24:32] last like what he's been gone like eight
[24:33] weeks which is crazy. So anyway, uh let
[24:37] me know what you guys think in the
[24:38] comments. Be sure to like and share the
[24:40] video. I love hearing your guys's
[24:43] feedback on the things that we talk
[24:45] about and um we will go from there. As
[24:50] usual, please like and share. I'm going
[24:54] to say it again. And if you have not
