[00:00] Yeah, you know, it was a it was an

[00:01] emotional experience

[00:03] uh saying goodbye to our good friend

[00:05] Charlie, but you know, saying hello to

[00:07] what his legacy is going to look like.

[00:10] Uh it was really astounding uh just

[00:13] seeing the the amount of support that

[00:15] showed up. There were hundreds of

[00:16] thousands of people who who came. Uh

[00:19] many tens of thousands went home. We

[00:21] actually packed a full other stadium

[00:23] right next door.

[00:25] Uh it was it was something to be seen

[00:27] and witnessed and we were we were really

[00:30] really happy that everyone was able to

[00:31] be there together.

[00:32] You opened yesterday by saying that

[00:34] Charlie always wanted to get the Holy

[00:36] Spirit into a Trump rally. Um what would

[00:39] Charlie have thought of this yesterday?

[00:42] You know, I think he I said he had

[00:44] heavenly FOMO because he was looking

[00:45] down, right?

[00:46] And I could I we could feel him, you

[00:49] know, just the the exuberance and the

[00:52] joy that was felt. I mean, he loved the

[00:55] events that we would put together at

[00:56] Turning Point USA. I mean, we we really

[00:58] crafted something that grew and grew and

[01:01] grew, and he always had a vision that we

[01:02] would fill stadiums. And yesterday was

[01:05] really the the the

[01:07] uh the coming together of that vision of

[01:09] Charlie's. And it was just something

[01:11] that was uh again I think there's

[01:13] something really unique and special when

[01:15] you bring a ton of people together and

[01:17] filling the spirit in the midst of all

[01:20] of the political dialogue uh and putting

[01:22] Christ first I think was something that

[01:24] Charlie lived for and he was really

[01:26] happy about.

[01:27] I want to play uh one sound bite. It's a

[01:29] little bit longer but this this touched

[01:31] me and again this sort of made me laugh.

[01:33] You were the only speaker that was able

[01:34] to do this throughout almost five hours.

[01:37] Um Tyler, take a listen.

[01:40] I got a call from Miss Erica Kirk. Miss

[01:43] Arizona 2012. I just want to help, she

[01:46] said. So, naturally, I put her right

[01:48] behind the president at that first

[01:50] rally.

[01:52] After that, we talked. It was obvious

[01:54] she was the perfect person for the job

[01:56] that Charlie and I had devised in one of

[01:58] our 24-hour planning sessions. I wanted

[02:01] to hire her. I only had one problem.

[02:04] Charlie Kirk wanted to date her.

[02:07] Long story short, I was very worried he

[02:10] was going to scare her off and screw it

[02:12] up and I was going to lose this

[02:14] incredible prospect. Like all things he

[02:17] put his mind to, Charlie accomplished

[02:19] everything he put his mind to. They

[02:21] immediately fell in love and I lost an

[02:23] employee, but now she's my boss.

[02:26] All right. Um and that got a a good a

[02:29] good laugh. Um take us through what

[02:31] happens next.

[02:34] Yeah. You know, Charlie and Erica have

[02:36] always been one since the moment they

[02:37] met, the moment they started dating. Uh

[02:40] they are the definition of coming

[02:42] together as as one mind, one one spirit.

[02:46] And uh Charlie lives on through Erica.

[02:48] We are so grateful for her sacrifice

[02:53] uh and the sacrifices she's made up

[02:55] until this point and including losing

[02:58] her husband, our friend. We are

[03:01] extremely thrilled because she's through

[03:03] and through the embodiment of Charlie

[03:06] Kirk on this planet and she has all of

[03:08] the will, all the grit. I think

[03:09] everybody saw that yesterday in the

[03:11] midst of this rally. She is bringing

[03:13] together uh the movement like we've

[03:16] never seen before and and Charlie will

[03:18] live on through her and she will be

[03:20] accomplish a lot.

[03:22] Do you see politics in her future down

[03:24] the road?

[03:26] Yeah, you know, it's funny. Uh, I had

[03:28] had conversations with Charlie about

[03:29] that. So, he he he was like, "Man, Erica

[03:32] could be so much bigger and better than

[03:34] me at almost everything." We talked we

[03:37] laugh all the time about because people

[03:38] were like, "Charlie could was going to

[03:39] be president someday." He believed

[03:41] firmly that Erica was going to be

[03:43] president someday. And so, it was a it's

[03:46] a beautiful thing to see the the

[03:48] culmination of all this. We're praying

[03:49] for her. Obviously, she has the weight

[03:51] of the world on her back. We're trying

[03:53] not to overload her, right?

[03:54] But man, she she's can take on so much

[03:57] and she already has and we're just so

[03:59] we're so uplifted by her spirit and her

[04:01] willingness to go out and do the work.

[04:03] I I truly do believe that God works in

[04:05] mysterious ways. And I will say my wife

[04:07] has said this to me. My wife's name is

[04:08] also Erica. Um and we watched Erica Kirk

[04:12] speak uh a week ago Friday, just a

[04:14] couple days after the assassination and

[04:16] then of course yesterday. And she said

[04:17] this both times. Um, and it just it

[04:19] makes me look bad, but it's something to

[04:21] to strive toward. Um, Charlie would

[04:23] write her those Saturday letters and

[04:26] say, "How can I serve you?" And I was

[04:28] like, "Well, honey, nobody says that to

[04:29] their their spouse, but I guess now I

[04:31] have to start saying that." Um, and

[04:33] that's the standard that he seems to set

[04:35] for all of us, which is is tough to live

[04:37] up to, but certainly a a noble cause. I

[04:41] think Charlie set a really high bar as a

[04:43] husband. Uh, he set a really high bar as

[04:45] a dad. He set a really high bar as a

[04:48] friend and and a boss and a and a

[04:50] colleague and an activist. The dude

[04:52] could do it all and he did. And you know

[04:55] and that it's that's just an example

[04:57] that we're all looking to now. Here
