Forest Frank Loses 30,000 Followers for Posting About Charlie Kirk and Declares Jesus Christ Is Lord

Christian music artist Forest Frank didn't hesitate when 30,000 followers abandoned him for posting about Charlie Kirk and declaring Jesus Christ as Lord. His response? Good riddance. In a powerful message following Charlie Kirk's assassination, Forest Frank joined a growing chorus of believers experiencing a newfound spiritual boldness sweeping across churches worldwide. From standing-room-only congregations to an unapologetic Christian roaring heard across continents, something profound is happening. Forest Frank and CBN's Billy Hallowell discuss this atmospheric shift in the spiritual realm, the demonic pushback trying to distract believers with conspiracy theories, and why the real battle is won on our knees in prayer, not in clever social media responses.

Forest Frank's Unapologetic Stand for Jesus

When Christian music superstar Forest Frank lost 30,000 followers on social media for posting about Charlie Kirk, his reaction surprised many. Instead of backing down or softening his message, Forest Frank doubled down with a powerful declaration.

"30,000 people unfollowed me because I posted about Charlie Kirk and I said that Jesus Christ is Lord. Good. I don't want you to follow me. I don't want you to track my music. I don't want you to come to my shows. I don't want you to do any of that if you don't do this one thing, and that is follow Jesus Christ, the King of all kings, the Lord of all lords, the one who is and the one who is to come," Forest Frank declared.

He continued with urgency: "He's coming back real soon. So, if you have not gotten your heart right with him and dropped down on your knees and repented to him, today is the day. The hour is at hand. I don't know if you can feel it, too. There's a heaviness. Something shifted. And I don't care. I don't care anymore. I just want you to know that Jesus Christ is here and he loves you."

The Context Behind the Controversy

Billy Hallowell from CBN provided context to Forest Frank's bold stance. The controversy began weeks earlier when Charlie Kirk discussed the positive influence of Forest Frank's music on Gen Z during a Fox News appearance. When Forest Frank shared that conversation on his Instagram, he immediately lost those followers.

"I think it's fascinating in the wake of Charlie Kirk's assassination that Forest Frank put this video out," Hallowell noted. "But I think he's feeling the same thing so many of the rest of us are feeling. This newfound boldness."

Forest Frank himself acknowledged a shift in his approach, stating: "I repent of the ways I've allowed my platform to be a lukewarm highlight reel." He made clear that his priority has changed: "I'm here now to spread the gospel. I'm going to do that in an authentic and true light."

A Spiritual Awakening Sweeping the Globe

Forest Frank isn't alone in experiencing this spiritual boldness. There's a roaring happening within the church that's being felt not just in the United States, but in Europe and the UK as well. Churches around the country are reporting standing-room-only attendance, and believers are describing an unmistakable shift in the spiritual atmosphere.

"There's one thing you keep hearing. There was a before and after. This was one of those atmosphere changing moments. This was September 11th," the discussion revealed. "This wasn't just someone got killed something happened something is happening there is this unapologetic Christian roaring that I'm hearing and I'm seeing."

Hallowell agreed, describing it as "this roaring of the church, this roaring inspired by the lion of the tribe of Judah."

The Demonic Pushback and Distraction

With this spiritual awakening comes what believers identify as demonic pushback attempting to distract Christians from what truly matters. One significant distraction has been the proliferation of conspiracy theories surrounding Charlie Kirk's assassination.

A particular conspiracy theory gained traction when people noticed a man near Charlie Kirk appearing to make what some interpreted as military signals. The internet exploded with speculation about CIA involvement and Freemasons. However, that man was identified as Frank Turek, one of the most respected Christian apologists in the world.

"I am so grateful and thankful that one of the biggest conspiracy theories... that was Frank Turek. I know. We know the guy. Frank Turek did not. Frank Turek is one of the most incredible apologists of the Christian faith in the world. He puts his neck on the line. He was just scratching his face and touching his hat," the discussion clarified.

The warning was clear: "There's going to be all of this algorithm, all of this nonsense, all of these bots, all of this influence from foreign governments that are trying to mess with your mind. Let's stay on what matters. And what matters is the gospel."

The Attack on Prayer

Another concerning trend has been a concerted effort to discourage believers from praying. For weeks leading up to and following the assassination, there has been a cultural push suggesting that prayers are ineffective and meaningless.

"Isn't it interesting that the world... has been for the past couple weeks priming us to do one thing. Don't pray. Your prayers don't do anything. Stop praying. Praying isn't don't do it. Stop," the discussion noted.

This attack on prayer is seen as further evidence of spiritual warfare: "There has been an unveiling of the spiritual world and now the followers of Yeshua and the followers of darkness no longer are pretending."

How Believers Should Respond

Hallowell addressed how Christians should respond to the hatred and evil being expressed, particularly by those celebrating Charlie Kirk's assassination:

"The enemy comes to steal, kill, destroy, confuse, and that's what we're watching in the culture, right? Even with this Charlie Kirk situation, the people who are joyful and jovial over it, that is from the pits of hell. That is demonic. There's nothing about that. I don't care whether you agree with some of the things he said or not. There is no need for a qualifier. That is evil."

However, he cautioned against responding with attacks: "It's so easy for us to want to attack and go after people verbally when we see those things on social media. But we need to be praying for people because they need the Lord. And all of us do. All of us fall short. We all need Jesus. And we need to have heart change and transformation. That should grieve you when you see that coming from people. And so we can't fall into Satan's trap."

The Real Battle Is Spiritual

The central message emphasized that this is fundamentally a spiritual battle, not a physical or political one. "We war not against flesh and blood," the discussion reminded viewers.

"How we fight this battle is on our knees. If you want to do war against the evil that's just unveiling itself in the world, call upon he who defeated sin and death. Yeshua of Nazareth has won the battle," came the exhortation.

The encouragement continued: "We gonna be praying. We need to be in our word. Your super clever response to a social media post. Listen, push back, don't get me wrong, but the way that we win this, the way that darkness is pushed back is by your prayers. This is a spiritual battle."

A Prayer for the Church

Hallowell closed with a prayer for believers navigating this moment:

"Lord, I just ask that you would bind the spirits of division and hatred and evil, Lord, that you would just change our hearts, change our minds, force us to look in the mirror and think about the rhetoric we're putting out there, the things we're saying and doing that just pour gasoline on a fire. Help us instead to focus on the things that are going to flame faith for people, that are going to guide people towards you. Lord, I pray that you would change the hearts and minds of those who are rejoicing in evil, who are happy to see the things that are happening, and that you would just empower the church to be ready and not just on foot, but to be ready with their Bibles to understand. Give us supernatural understanding of your scripture, your word, so that we can meet the moment and bring people to you, which is what matters most. Lord, we love you. We thank you. In the name of your son Jesus we pray. Amen."
