Jimmy Kimmel and Mainstream Media Gaslight About Charlie Kirk's Murder and Alleged Killer's Far-Left Ideology
The mainstream media and far-left personalities engage in stunning gaslighting about the murder of prominent conservative figure Charlie Kirk. From Jimmy Kimmel mocking grief to CBS claiming the motive remains "elusive," media figures deliberately obscure the alleged killer's own stated far-left ideology and motives. Despite clear evidence of Tyler Robinson's trans activism and anti-conservative rhetoric, personalities like Jemele Hill and ABC News attempt to reframe the narrative while some celebrate the tragedy.
In a disturbing display of media manipulation, far-left comedian Jimmy Kimmel engaged in what many are calling blatant disinformation about the murder of a prominent conservative figure. Kimmel attempted to characterize the alleged killer, Tyler Robinson, as anything other than a far-left activist, despite clear evidence to the contrary.
"We hit some new lows over the weekend with the MAGA gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and doing everything they can to score political points from it," Kimmel claimed.
This assertion ignores the alleged killer's own words and the statements from officials about his ideology. Robinson was known for far-left positions, complaints about supposed fascists, and obsession with trans activism, yet Kimmel suggested he was somehow a closet Republican.
Mocking Grief and Presidential Mourning
Kimmel went further, mocking President Trump's grief over Charlie Kirk's death. According to those close to Trump, he saw Kirk as another son and was deeply affected by the loss. But Kimmel had this to say about the President's expression of grief:
"This is not how an adult grieves the murder of someone he called a friend. This is how a four-year-old mourns a goldfish."
The callous comment drew widespread criticism for its cruelty and lack of basic human decency in the face of tragedy.
Celebration and Cruelty From the Left
The disturbing responses weren't limited to Kimmel. A contestant from America's Next Top Model made shocking statements about the murder, even suggesting that Trump should have been standing behind Kirk "getting a secondhand bullet."
At Texas State University, a young man showed up to a memorial service and mocked attendees. While the crowd showed remarkable tolerance of his antics, he received swift consequences—identification and prompt expulsion from the university.
Jemele Hill's Misinformation Campaign
Former ESPN anchor Jemele Hill continued what critics call a deliberate misinformation campaign about the alleged killer's background and motives. In her commentary, Hill misrepresented basic facts about Robinson's background:
"In the wake of Charlie's murder, there was an incredible amount of angry discourse from the right, blaming the Democrats, blaming liberals, saying, 'You're the reason this happened.' Only to find out, surprise, 22-year-old white dude, love guns, raised by two parents, lived in a good home, dad is a minister, also a sheriff. Didn't check any of them boxes y'all thought he would check, did he? Well, he checked the boxes I expected him to check."
Hill's characterization was factually incorrect on multiple counts. Robinson's father was not a sheriff, and more importantly, Robinson was a far-left trans activist who regurgitated mainstream leftist rhetoric. He claimed Kirk was "spreading hate" because the left labeled conservative viewpoints as hateful. The case demonstrates that coming from a decent, God-fearing family isn't enough to protect a susceptible mind from toxic political indoctrination.
Hill also had the audacity to criticize conservatives for "angry discourse" following the murder, questioning how anyone could dare to be angry that a young man was murdered in front of his children or how anyone could call out those celebrating the act of domestic terrorism.
CBS Claims Motive "Remains Elusive"
Perhaps the most egregious example of media gaslighting came from CBS, which reported five days after the murder that "the shooter's motive remains elusive."
"Five days after Charlie Kirk's murder, the shooter's motive remains elusive. No writings left behind, vague secondhand testimony. That uncertainty and the risk of drawing sweeping conclusions suggests the murder may share similarities with recent violence not driven by an obvious political ideology," CBS claimed.
This characterization directly contradicts the evidence. Tyler Robinson told people precisely what his ideology was and why he targeted Kirk. There is zero mystery about Robinson's motives or his political ideology. The only remaining question concerns who else may have been involved.
The View Weighs In
Whoopi Goldberg of The View offered her analysis, appearing almost disappointed that the victim's message would only grow stronger following the tragedy. It was just a few years ago that Goldberg was forced to apologize to Turning Point USA for falsely linking the conservative movement to neo-Nazis.
"What assassins should always remember is just because you take somebody out doesn't mean the message is going to stop," Goldberg stated.
The ladies of The View have been accused of doing plenty themselves to incite the demented left through their rhetoric.
ABC's Bizarre Romanticizing
In perhaps the most disturbing media take, ABC News discussed the alleged killer's text messages, marveling at how "touching" they were rather than reflecting on how his language echoed that of mainstream leftist figures from media and activist circles.
"What was on it, but also it was very touching in a way that I think many of us didn't expect. A very intimate portrait into this relationship between the suspect's roommate and the suspect himself with him repeatedly calling his roommate who was transitioning calling him my love and I want to protect you my love," ABC reported.
The reporter noted the "duality" of someone who jeopardized lives, including children's, while "speaking so lovingly about his partner."
Refusing to Accept Lies and Gaslighting
The overwhelming message from those who refuse to accept the media's narrative is clear: be on guard for those who claim this isn't a left or right issue, that this isn't political, or that there isn't a clear motive. These are lies, and there is a growing refusal to tolerate the left's bold-faced lies and gaslighting on this issue.
Multiple individuals have faced consequences for celebrating the tragedy, receiving what some call "instant karma" for their cruel and hateful behavior. The pattern of mainstream media figures and far-left personalities attempting to obscure, minimize, or misrepresent the clear ideological motives behind this act has been met with fierce pushback from those demanding honesty and accountability.
