Video Transcript
So, when I watched Erica Kirk's most recent speech, I didn't just hear words talking about grief and faith. I also noticed some hidden messages that most people, I think, miss. The ones that teach you how to handle pain, obedience, and emotional endurance. So, in today's video, I'm going to be breaking down Erica Kirk's most recent recent speech through a psychological lens. And you might not hear this perspective from anywhere else. I'm going to be showing you why it is manipulative and how sometimes her language conveys a lot more than is on the surface. By the way, hi, I'm Maddie. Um, this is the Anti-alination Project and I know what it's like to grow up trapped under a manipulative parent. I went through 20 years of psychological child abuse and I've lived through what children shouldn't hap have to endure. I've spent my life um uh being on a healing journey now and I pick up on a lot of subtle signs that other people might not miss or that other people might miss regarding uh manipulation. So, let's just get right into it. I'm curious to see what you guys think. Let me know if you can hear this. >> Can you guys hear this? This is pretty pretty quiet. >> So grateful to be here. This is really special. It's the first tour stop and I I have to say a really special thank you to Greg and and Kathy because when all of this happened um you really see who your true friends are. You see who was in your corner. You see who was writing. Excuse me. who was writing uh my husband's coattails. >> Okay, so it was her fault her fault with the audio >> and who genuinely cared and who genuinely wanted to be there for us as a family and anyways everyone you know does their best to be with you. Greg and Kathy both said something to me very very important and special that really struck my spirit when they said it and they it was different than unlike anything else anyone else said because they've experienced tremendous love and loss. And he said this is going to be very difficult. But if you are able to turn this pain, extreme pain into a purpose that is far greater than yourself, you'll be okay. And that stuck with me because this this tour make heaven crowded tour when Charlie and I got married. For those of you who are I mean I love that they Bryce just got married. That's I remember that those days where you I literally would roll over next to Charlie and at like 2 a.m. and I'd be like we're a sleepover. Like, this is really cool. I have a sleepover for the rest of my life with my best friend. Like, there's just like this hyper obsession. I'm still heavily obsessed with my husband. I always will be. Love him so much. Love him so much. So, according to the >> Okay, so right off the bat, um I've noticed since the start of her talking and being in the public air sphere, I've noticed how much she seems to idolize her husband. And maybe she really does. Maybe she really does idolize him. Maybe she really is obsessed with him and she thinks that they had, you know, like the best marriage ever. And maybe they really did. I don't really know. But I do think it's kind of odd because when you do have a great marriage or a healthy relationship, usually you don't feel the need to tell the world about it and emphasize how amazing it really was. Also, right off the bat, she's trying to frame why she is doing this tour stop. she's trying to frame why she's doing this speech at all in the first place because I know that she knows that she's gotten a lot of backlash for the amount of publicity she's been doing when she has two small babies as she says um at home without her. And the way she frames it is that she's turning her pain into purpose. It's this idea of um you know turning her pain into purpose and she really kind of frames it in that way to claim some type of moral authority through her suffering that it's legitimate for her to be here because she is making meaning after her trauma and that can be healthy that can be purposeful. I mean, heck, that's what I'm doing in my channel here through my what I went through, trying to, you know, help other people notice manipulation and abuse. Um, and it resonates because humans are wired to trust those who have actually suffered visibly. We have natural compassion for people who have had extreme loss and pain. Um the risk I think comes when suffering is the foundation of your your your your whole point of of being. And some people might equate her emotional intensity as truth. Maybe not everybody, but that's just what's coming up. Also, can we talk about her outfit? I mean, I saw her at Amfest and it was a stark difference to this ensemble. She has all black, very simple. I mean, she basically would fade into a black background here. And I think I think she has taken notes from the backlash she got from Afest where she was like a uh a disco ball, a glitter machine. Let's just keep going. Sorry, let me turn on the audio. Sorry. >> I have those days where you I literally would roll over next to Charlie and at like 2 a.m. and I'd be like, "We're having a sleepover." Like, "This is really cool." I have a sleepover for the rest of my life with my best friend. Like, there's just like this hyper obsession. I'm still heavily obsessed with my husband. I always will be. Love him so much. Love him so much. And when we got married, I highly suggest if you are getting married to do premarital, it's not because you don't know, you know, it's it's very helpful. It's very healthy. >> That was not even a sentence. I highly just suggest that you do premarital. It's not because you don't know. It's just Sorry, I'm not going to be petty. just I don't think she was was built for this like Charlie was >> actually. And so for us when we got married, we wanted to be very intentional about how the Lord would use our marriage. And so we wrote down goals for our marriage. And one of our goals was to always spread the gospel. And attached to that at the top it was spread the gospel, make heaven. And that was our thing. And so anytime witnessed to someone, any we had an event where we talked about Jesus or just in passing to someone, it would always be our little affirmation to one another and like a little wink of like heaven. That's what this that's we wanted the Lord to use our marriage for that. And so that's why this tour is so special to me because I wanted to take that piece of slice of heaven from that memorial for my husband and bring it to everyone around this country so that they could have that extension and that beauty and that palpable feeling of the Holy Spirit. And so I'm just so grateful again for Greg and Kathy for all of you guys being here and showing up. And it's it's so special. I'm I just cannot thank you all enough. I cannot thank you all enough for your prayers, not just for myself, but for my babies and also for the Turning Point USA team. We feel them. We deeply feel them. Um, I family friend told me a story about I think it's George Bush senior. Do not quote me on this. I know that I'm like constantly fact checked, so I'm just going to preface that. I want to say it's senior. So, He said, this woman came up to him after he was in office and said, "Sir, we've been praying for you. We're praying for you while you were in office." And he goes, "I know. I could feel it." And he's like, "And I also," and she said, "Um, you know, you just constantly recovering." And he goes, "I felt the absence of those prayers once I left office. And to me, when when you're going through something like this, I used to always think when people would say, "What can I do for you?" Door Dash gift card. Like, what can we do? And it's literally non-stop. I've just been like, and the power of prayer has been such a covering for myself and my family. Okay, so here she goes calling the TPUSA workers, employees, family again. And if you watch my other video, I was talking about this before. It's the inroup versus the out groupoup. They have a very it's all over her language. The inroup is her her TPSA family. Her family and her TPSA employees are all family. They're the inroup. Everyone else is the out group. And there's a lot to break down just in this tiny little clip. I said before she idealizes her relationship with Tarly or she's pretending to. I don't know if she actually does or not, but she's describing her marriage as not only spiritually ordained but also missiondriven. They they are almost exalted as a couple. It's like she's framing them and their identity as inseparable from each other. And she she said she's obsessed with him. Like I don't think that is healthy for a relationship, guys. I don't like Let me know what you think. I love my spouse. I respect my spouse. I'm not obsessed with him. I don't think that's healthy. Um but anyway, she she she does this very very very often. She fuses her identity, her personal identity with her spouse, her mission, and her ideology. It's all one. It's all one. and you cannot you almost really cannot div divide them. Um and then her relationship she idolizes Charlie, puts him on a pedestal. It's almost like he's a martyr. I think she's even used that language. And and in that way her marriage is also framed as being divinely exceptional. It's not just a mortal marriage now. It's you know it's so such a special relationship. It's a divine. It's almost like a divine marriage. And this does or this might appeal to audiences who are longing for some moral clarity, longing for an authority figure to make them feel better, to make them feel at peace. But it's also setting a very unrealistic standard for relationships, for marriages. It's also it's also um dangerous because they are people just like the rest of us. They are mortals. They have children who are also mortal children. Um it's it's a lot. It's a lot. And then she invol invokes prayer as protection and spiritual warfare. It's another framing we talked about before. Just like having the in-group and the out groupoup. You have the language about warfare and she positions prayer is a literal protective force. So you have prayer that is a literal protective force of your inroup protecting you from the threat of the out groupoup which in her case this case is anyone that's questioning TPUSA that that they're interpreting questions as a threat as physical violent threats. And I just again want to thank all of you for the letters and the prayers and just the constant support um up against the immense spiritual warfare that we are constantly facing. So thank you from the bottom of my heart. Sorry guys, I don't know how to make it any louder. I'm just going to turn on the closed captions. I'm sorry about that. >> Um, but I've noticed when people have asked me how how am I doing? It's always that awkward moment where they they feel uncomfortable asking like because they'll they'll perhaps say like I feel really weird asking this. How are you doing? And I have to say I'm actually very grateful that they asked that asked that question. It's not uncomfort. That's actually a very good question. How are you able to able to lead? How are you able to keep moving forward? How do you just keep showing up? And the word of God has been it's always been very important to me, but now even more so I I keep Charlie's Bible obviously. where he sleeps. I have it opened up by where he sleeps and then I'll have another Bible throughout the house. So, I kind of like walk by and I'm like walking through. I'm like, "Okay, it's like a little Bible snack, if you will, where you're what is this first thing?" Everywhere I'm going, I'm like, "Please, dear God, just like I need I need you fully." And so, but it's it's really interesting because to me, you just find a way to stand. It is so hard, but you find a way to stand. And going through scripture heavily, the two moments that have stuck out to me through all of this with regard to standing, one where you're standing in suffering, and then one where you're standing against the wickedness of the devil. The most depiction of standing in the suffering for me was in John chapter 19 verse 25 where you have Mary the mother of Jesus standing at the foot of the cross she just watched the most unjust violence take place against the love life. >> Okay [clears throat] guys, a lot is going on here. Now, we have to have remembered that to this point she has gotten so much flak and criticism for not grieving for for not putting her life on hold for even a day, even a week to be with her kids and just grieve. The so-called love of her life assassinated in real real time in front of millions of people. and she just continues her mission. She goes harder. She works longer. She goes on a public uh publicity tour for this book. So, she has been, you know, rake through the coals for not grieving her late husband. And so this speech is it's almost like a master class in psychology. Um so she's proposing that she's been standing in suffering. Her emotional suppression that we have all seen very clearly I think is strength. That is what she is arguing here. And she's making that argument on purpose, by the way, because of all the criticism and negative publicity she has gotten. 10 days after Charlie's Kirk Kirk's death, she's on the podcast on a show laughing like she doesn't have a care in the world and she's so excited to continue her the mission. Um, so now she's claiming that her silence and her endurance is her strength. She's even using Mary at the foot of the cross as a model for restraint. The psychological dynamics here cannot be overlooked. Please do not overlook this. First, she is framing stoicism as a virtue. Also, she's presenting um emotional numbness or emotional inhibition as strength and perhaps maturity. She might be giving people a script for surviving unbearable pain. Hm. [clears throat] She might be trying to explain to people why she hasn't come across as emotionally destroyed, grieving widow, why she's been so put together. She's been able to deliver these speeches, go on a demanding publicity tour. To me, what she seems to be arguing is that she's being emotionally numb. She's not processing her emotions at the best. at the worst. Is it possible that she seems so uh suppressed emotionally because she simply doesn't have those strong emotions you would expect someone to have after such an event like this? It's a question I think we have to ask. I think she might be also unintentionally discouraging other folks who are going through difficult things like grief from emotionally processing their feelings which is so important so important. I don't know if you guys have heard the term the body keeps a score or read the book called the body keeps the score but suppressed grief it doesn't go away. It often resurfaces, almost always resurfaces as anxiety, depression. You develop sematic symptoms. Your emotions, if held inside, they will eat you alive. They create real problems. It's not heroic to to suppress your emotions. That is not something to to be uh proud of, honestly. And her children, if this is really what she believes and really what she stands for, her children are going to internalize the belief that to feel is weakness. Dangerous. Dangerous stuff, I think. But maybe you have a different opinion. >> What did she do? >> So low. >> She didn't scream. She didn't accuse. She didn't try to explain God. She wasn't pulling her hair out. She wasn't. She just stood. She had her friends next to her. She stood with composure and divine power, patience. And it's so when you trust in the Lord, you have no idea what you can bear until you're tried. And in those moments, you just know that his grace is sufficient because you can feel it. You can deeply feel it. And um the part where you're standing against the wickedness of the devil. It's really interesting because it's in Ephesians 6. And what I find so fascinating, I was always obsessed with Ephesians 5 talks about marriage and um it's really interesting that Ephesians 5 talks about the proper order of marriage, love, and then Ephesians 6 prepares you for the warfare. So, if you have an Ephesians 5 marriage, you better read Ephesians 6 because the Lord's going to use your marriage in ways that will blow your mind. And what stuck out to me so powerful about Ephesians 6 10 through 18 is that Paul was very intentional about using the word stand twice. The first time you stand is your choice because you decided to put on the full armor of God. You did. As feeble of an attempt that it was, you put it on. But then in verse 14, after you're standing your ground, it says, "Stand firm then." And he's emphasizing the perseverance, but he's also emphasizing that you have to know that your strength can only take you so far. My grandma used to say, "Your running legs can only take you so far. Jesus does the rest." But when you stand firm, that's not you. That's not strength. Okay? So she's taking it a step further and saying that her reaction in the months following her husband's assassination is not just you know how she has personally handled things and her re her her bodily response but it is God working through her. It's God's strength. So actually she's turning everything upside down. you know, the the criticism has been this is at first people were saying everybody grieavves differently and then months go by, all these press uh tours happen, these interviews happen. Um, and people start to really drop that. They're like, "No, people grieve differently, but this does not look like grieving at all, actually." And she's saying, "Well, it does. Maybe it doesn't look like grieving because I am grieving in the most in the most uh superior manner. I'm grieving because it's God's strength. That's how I am so composed and standing strong. And yeah, maybe some of you are wrong and that I and that it is it truly maybe it truly is God's strength through her allowing her to uh to be composed and go on tons of media tours. I don't know. I don't know. >> The first time ready for battle bracing yourself. >> [music] >> Oh my god. Sorry for the jump scare. Jesus, that was so loud. Um, sorry about that. And I looked at you and I said, I have no idea how I'm going to do this. And I know that I've I've shared this story before, but I want to share it with you again because if any of you guys are going through a really hard time in your life, it was the most practical response that anyone could give. And I loved it. and she said, "You know when you're on an airplane flying with your kids and there's 15 minutes left on this plane ride and your kids are losing their mind. I mean, toys are flying everywhere. Passengers are looking at you like, "Why are you a terrible parent? You're trying so hard to negotiate with this little human that has negotiation on lock because they just It's always why no. Why no? She's like, "And then the plane lands and you survived those 15 minutes and then the next 15 minutes and then the next." And to me, when I stood watching my husband's casket taken off that plane, she held my hand of And you just and I say all this because the way that God has carried me is the way that he wants to carry you through your trial, through your life. My cross is mine to carry. You have your own. your own cross to bear. One is not better or worse than the other. It's just different for all of us. But what we profoundly share in common is that we are all operating within one of it's just our world is so broken. Our world is so evil. Our world is so dark. And we're all touched by confusion. We're all touched by disappointment. We're all touched by loss. We all suffer in different ways that are personal. What I want to remind you of is that yeah, this world you might feel as if it is going to break you. Jesus already broke himself. Are you guys buying this? This is like the biggest o over oversimp oversimplification of grief I possibly have ever heard. Um I don't know but if it were me and that were my husband's and his casket was being taken off the plane and I was with my children, I would be balling my eyes out. I wouldn't be able to stand up straight. Maybe that's because I lack God within me that helps her to stand straight and be composed. I don't know. But I really think this is a huge oversimplification of grief. And it sounds like not even understanding how grief works. It's a physical bodily response too beyond our control that our logicical mind our rational mind cannot stop from happening. I don't know what do you guys what do you guys think? I also noticed that she is uh repeating that mantra a lot. You just stand. You just stand. Uh resilience through, you know, stoicism. You just stand. Um and it's hard. I know I get criticism for criticizing her because she is a recently widowed woman with kids. I get it. I have compassion for her as well. But it it I I I can't lie and say this makes sense. The only thing that has made sense in this speech so far is when she said that the world is corrupt and dark. Um [clears throat] but that too goes back to what I was talking about the other day in my video about SCOPS. um the the warfare lang the language about warfare and the in-group and the out groupoup and then the fear-based moral framing. The world is evil. Curiosity is dangerous. The world is dark, distracting. Don't use your critical thinking skills. Don't question this organization. Don't question her. >> And I am here to tell you, thank you. Keep thinking like I'm eventually going to stop crying. I just have more tears. It won't. And even if you have to look in the mirror and say it out loud, you won't declare it. You will not be shaken because you are covered Jesus. [applause] Man will they will try to hurt you. Man will try to hurt you. They'll accuse you. They'll slander you. They'll murder you. They will never touch your soul. Never. I'm sorry, but I have to show this comment. Sage says, "Thank God there's no sound. [laughter] >> [gasps] >> Oh man, thank you for that. >> After afraid lady, >> I had a family friend. She very sweet. She was like explaining to her which I didn't mean to explain because it's very well known. was just saying how fascinating it is to operate in a world that does not understand you at all. And she was she said, you know, after a fest because I Charlie and I both operate in a way where our word is our bond. So I wanted to make sure that I fulfilled his his media tour obligations for his his stop in the name of God book that just came out. And it's an amazing book. It's lifechanging. And so I finished finished that. I there was other things that he had on his schedule that I wanted to honor for him and finish for him. It was just the right thing to do. >> Okay. She's not as smart as some people give her credit for. She's trying to uh subtly covertly explain why she's been on this media tour. Because it's Charlie's legacy. I was willing to do it for Charlie. I was going to carry through, just fight and get through with it for Charlie. lady, I don't know about that. I don't know about that. And she said, you know, I think that after a you should probably take some time to just tuck away from the exposure of this world and just, you know, enjoy the holidays. I was like, that is a great idea. That is what I'm going to do. Absolutely. And I thought, you know, I went back honoring the Sabbath. Charlie and I were very good about that. And um very important so freeing to being able to just disconnect from the noise of this world and refocus your family and yourself on the Lord. And um I thought to myself, yeah, we're going to honor the Sabbath. We're going to just take some time be with my babies. >> Quick plug for the book. Just got to throw that in there. Go get my book husband's book. You know, it's about the Sabbath. You need your Sabbath. We need our Sabbath. Sabbath. Sabbath. Sabbath. Sabbath. Sabbath. Sabbath. Sabbath. All about it. >> Go out and touch grass. Like that's >> Wait, what? I just missed that. I'm gonna rewind it. >> Take some time. I'm going to be with my babies. Maybe people will go out and touch grass. Like that's Let's start there. >> Okay. So, she's telling people after af people need to go out and touch grass because Okay, here's what she's saying here. She's gaslighting us. She's telling us that our gut instincts about her and our perceptions about her and our questions about the entire event like that tent they put up, you know, the one that Charlie died under and you know, you know, all the speakers, Ben Shapiro going cutthroat in the first the first the headliner speaker at the event, you know, everything we noticed. It was just I don't know, an overreaction. I don't know. We need to go touch grass, guys. So, I guess I should pause the video. I guess I should stop the live stream, go outside to my front yard, and touch some grass. That's what I need to do. We all need to go touch grass. The whole world is mistaken, Erica. The whole world does not understand you. You're right. You're right. I can't believe she said that. And uh anyway, so this world is trying to figure out all of this. People ask me, why don't you do this? And why don't you say that? Some still have asked, have you seen the video? Okay, I'm starting to get a little angry now, guys. Starting [clears throat] to get a little angry now. She says, "I've been thrust into all of this." No, you haven't. E, she she goes by E on Instagram. E, listen up. E, you have not been thrust into anything. You took on the position of CEO of TPUSA. You did that. E, you did that. E, you could have sat back and spent time with your children and done whatever you wanted. You chose to be the CEO. You chose not even two full days after his death to give that big statement. You chose to put together this huge memorial for Charlie. You chose E. Yeah, that's right. E chose to go on this media tour. You were not thrust into anything. You are not the victim in that circumstance. I have compassion for what you have been through with the loss of your husband, but you cannot claim to be the victim in that circumstance. You chose that responsibility. I get frustrated when people do that. I never want to see it. I will make sure that my kids don't ever see it. Never. Never. Never will see that video. I kissed you goodbye. But you always get everyone saying like, "Why don't you do this? Why don't you do that?" And I respond with all due respect, like, "Why do I have to? Why do I have to do that? Why do I have to operate by what I'm expected to do, expected to respond to, expected to [music] >> Oh my god. Sorry about that jump scare. It's just the audio is so low that when an ad pops up, it's crazy loud. [music] Because every single thing that I do, every decision that I make, when you kiss your loved one like that, your whole perspective on this world changes completely. I operate very clearly. Whatever decision is in front of me, it will go through a very strict lens. Is this going to bring me closer to heaven or is it going to bring me further away from heaven? If it is going to bring me further away from heaven, step aside, Satan, I do not want to touch you with a 10ft pole. [applause] I do not want to be around anything that is going to take me further away from my home in heaven. I don't. >> So that's her argument for why she hasn't taken any public accountability, cleared up any questions the public has had, respond to any critiques. According to her, her disengagement from answering questions, providing evidence, etc. is actually moral support, superiority. Actually, she's doing that to be holy. Actually, she is holier because she does that. She doesn't want to qualify. She doesn't want to even give weight to any questions people might have. You know, they're so they're so beneath her. In fact, they are um products of the devil. Imagine that. Questions, legitimate questions, dialogue, inquiry into the assassination. That's from the devil. Actually, it's actually from the devil. Are you guys interpreting this the same way that I am? This is wild. This is wild to me. This is wild to me. I am an NFJ. How did you know that? That's so crazy. That's where my heart is. And so, as long as I remain obedient to God and abide in his word and I'm in the jetream of his will, the opinions of this world mean nothing to me. Nothing. [applause] And it's not ignorance. It's intentionality. Some people no, it's intentionality. It's intentionality with my time, my heart. But what's so fascinating And as Christians, we know this to be true. There is a curiosity driving force in our culture today that has been completely amplified. And it's fascinating to witness this in real time because you have portions of this world that are saying, "Look at this. Look this direction. Do you like what you see? You can keep going further. You can keep this further be able to do it. Look at this. Sensationalize this. Look at this. See it now. So everything is vying for your attention. Everything. Every single thing. And it's literally just goes back to the garden of Adam and Eve. God says, "You have the garden of Eden. Do not eat the fruit from this tree. You have everything else light. Why not this tree? Fixation on focus on what you can't have when you have all of this. And that is our day and age right now. There's this there's this kind of curiosity that is so innocent and God given which is precious. And that's the type where you're searching for more beautiful things and the eternal things and you're you're learning and you're pouring into your family and you're operating on a different level. But then there's also this curiosity that just pulls you away from what matters most. And I am seeing it on full display. It invites you to distraction. It feeds your fears. Makes you a person. It makes you even question your faith. It puts you in a position where you're reacting, feeling like you have to respond to respond. I think this is her way to discourage critical thinking. What do you guys think? I just can't get over the fact that I'm imagining myself as her. Okay. I'm imagining myself as her. My husband is assassinated in front of the world. pretty much the world um live and I'm so disturbed and frustrated and hate and I hate the people pointing out inconsistencies in the federal narrative in and I'm angry at people asking questions and I'm trying to encourage people to not ask questions. I'm discouraging critical thinking. I want people to focus on their families and their love and stop asking questions. Stop reading into things. Uh what I would be grateful to the people asking questions. I would be connecting with them behind the scenes. Give me the evidence. You know, let me see what you have put together. What do you think happened this time? What do you think? What's your theory on this? I'd be banging on the president's door, by the way. I'd be banging on the the FBI's door. I'd be like, "This doesn't add up. Let's figure it out. For real. Give me an argument. I'm so curious. I would like to hear an argument from someone why it makes sense for her in this position to say the valid questions about things that don't make sense regarding her husband's assassination, why those should avenues should not be explored? In what scenario would the would the grieving wife would the widow not want what happened to her husband to be logical and clear as day? And then in what universe was would that same widow promote the official narrative that has so many holes in it that doesn't add up? And instead of providing the evidence for what doesn't add up to try to make sense of things and try to help the world make sense of the things because everybody saw this execution. She just says to to ask questions and to be curious is not of God. moral superiority. Using moral superiority, invoking the name of God to shut down dialogue, to erase your critical thinking skills. She wants to reinforce echo chambers that are building her up and building up the official narrative. It is fishy to me, you guys. I can't think of a single reason why she would be doing this other than some really dark motives. But please let me know in the live chat because maybe I'm missing something. And and quite honestly, we live in a culture that is just endlessly curious about things that don't matter. I mean, for example, I had a Washington Post article come out about my clothes that I wear. like very slow news day out there. Like you're if you are now attacking a widow's attire like there's that's that's where we're at. Like that's if you would like to know Washington Post. I'm wearing a black outfit with a pair of you know Air Forces because I'm a sneaker head. So you would like >> we noticed I noticed the very top of the video your um very discreet clothing choices today. And we also noticed your very expensive and shiny disco ball outfit at Amfest. And those are two very different looks. Very different looks. Uh yeah, she's taking notes. Exactly. Yeah, she's taking notes. And I mean, it's hard to argue against anyone who number one is is in this position of being a recent widow, but then when she invokes the status of widow, it's it's like you can't even off off off the table. Like you're a bad person if you say anything against her. Even people in the comments are saying that like stick in your lane, Maddiey's whatever, whatever. Uh, no. I could talk about whatever I want on my channel. Thank you. >> To know what I'm wearing. You can call me and I'd be happy to explain that I just wear what I wear because it's comfortable. I don't have a stylist. Like, I don't really care. I just am myself. Again, go touch grass. I I don't know how else to say go walk in nature. Charlie loved to hike. Like maybe take up hiking as a hobby. Um, just throw it out there. But I say that because curiosity can totally derail us as Christians completely and it doesn't allow the Lord to use your life in a way that glorifies him. So just keep that in mind when you're reading things and you're internalizing things and you know you go you try to chase down every single ridiculous accusation about yourself, you'll get nothing done. Charlie knew that Charlie spent his time responding to everything when anyone called him a racist when he wasn't. If anyone tried to say what he's doing on campus didn't matter. Actually, it did and it does and it still does. He wouldn't have been able to build turning point. He wouldn't have been able to go and preach the gospel. And so I just I just want to remind you that don't be pulled away from the presence of God. Use your curiosity. I just have a spirit of of knowing that I would much rather confuse this world and not make any sense to it than be a reflection of it. And that's how I want all of you guys to feel as well. >> That's a really smart psychological move right there. A lot of people in the audience, particularly Christians, are going to hear that and be like, "She's right. She's right. I don't want to be of the this world either, this materialistic, narcissistic world. I don't want to be part of that either." So many people have the same gut feeling about this organization, about Erica Kirk, about all of it. So many people have the same instinctual reaction, like a physical reaction, like it is off. Something is not right here. And she just wants you to ignore that. And you know, be curious about your Bible. Don't ignore that. Manipulation 101. Listen to your body. Listen to your gut reaction. But again, I I just want to encourage you. Charlie would always say this, and it rings true to me now, more so than ever, that every decision you make is a mark on your soul forever. stuff is just remember. So when you feel things start heating up in your life, it's very tempting to ask the wrong question. Why is this happening to me? Don't do that. He said, "I pray that you ask the question, Lord, what do you have for me today? Just today, not about yesterday, not about tomorrow, just today. What do you have for me today? Not why is this happening to me?" You have to shift your perspective and your mindset. God doesn't have to explain anything to you. One day you'll know everything. He does assign things to you. I have an assignment. You all have an assignment. I will agree with her on that actually. Not to be in the victim mindset. It's a parasetic mindset that will not add anything good to your life. And Charlie would always tell me if anything ever happened to him to make sure that I would step in and run and I took that very seriously. I didn't. It's not a burden. This is not a 9 to5. But earlier in the speech, you were literally saying that you were thrust into this position as if it was a burden. Driving me crazy, lady. My lights again. Oh no. This is a very professional >> production we got going on. >> It's always the babies. And some people have said, "Well, you should have put an intimate." My husband during our whole marriage asked me this, asked me to do this, his wish, and I'm going to put an intro in there that could possibly burn the whole thing down. And then I have to come in later when I'm ready, which no one's ever ready for anything in life, and resurrect the ashes. Absolutely not. Okay, this is the angriest she's been this whole speech [clears throat] in response to somebody telling her that she should have put it in German. By the way, what I'm noticing is that she has done this whole speech so far has been why you should not pay attention to the criticism of the world and the you f focus on God and yourself. And yet this whole speech has been defending herself against the criticism of the world. Am I the only one thinking how hypocritical this entire speech is? Crazy. I'll respond to some of the comments in the live chat. Thank you guys for being here. Help like the video to spread the message, all that good stuff. Um I will come to you in the live chat at the end of at the end of the video. >> I would not be able. If no one ever taught you how to manage your money or you're secretly ashamed of where you're at financially, >> this is for >> I would not be able to live with myself. I would not be able to live with myself knowing that I didn't honor that for Charlie. And this is not about a job title. That's what this is. And it's about knowing that when God gives you an assignment and and you know this, those of you who feel that that you know and you recognize what your assignment is, he gives you the grace to carry it. It's not it's not a burden anymore. Let's pause there, shall we? Okay, guys. This has gotten this is where it gets really interesting you could say because she is framing her role as CPO CEO of Turning Point USA as a godgiven assignment. Her words she has been divinely assigned to be the CEO of Turning Point. Now, who who can argue against that? If you're a Christian, who can argue against that? She's equating her position and her compliance with Charlie's request, which has not been actually validated to my knowledge, with moral integrity. She's being morally righteous by taking on this divine assignment. Do you believe that? Honestly, everybody should make up their own minds about every issue. Watch a wide variety of videos, read wide variety of articles written by different perspectives. In my personal opinion, um, this is being framed as a divine assignment for a reason because leaving an organization or failing to support an organization or say withdrawing your financial support for an organization when it has been divinely inspired. probably feels like betrayal at best, sinning at worst. [sighs] It's not. And he will sustain you in ways that you didn't even know possible. And you find a way to put one foot in front of the other. Just do. And And so the other night after I put the kids to bed, Charlie, this is something I encourage all of you to do. He's huge huge in journaling. If you can journal, please do. How do you have time to do that? He would carry a journal with him and it would be something that would hear or something that came across his desk or something just came his heart and he just write and my goodness am I so grateful to have those living still with me the inner workings of his brain he left the blueprint for me for the kids it's like my It's like my treat if you will to just like time with him. And so one of that I was reading the other day in his journal. It was so powerful and he said who had a more effective last 100 years left or Christianity? He said our ends are different. societies are very rare, but we fight evil. So, after reading that, the next morning, we have a I'm in one of the Charlie Kirk show prep chats that we have. Again, I do not have social media or news on my phone. I just do not have that bandwidth. Everyone else can absorb it for me. Tell me what I need to know, what I need to hear. That's great. But, that's where we're at. I will get to that another place now is not the time or place. And so [snorts] one of the videos that came in that chat, awkwardly enough, um there's a clip of Rachel Mau and Jimmy Kimly saying their names in the church, but together. Um but it was interesting because he asked her the question, "Do you think these protests are helping But I understood the sentiment of what she said. She was trying to explain the 3 and 12% rule and she was basically saying that political science. She was basically saying that when you have three and a half% of the population protesting peacefully um and you're in nonviolent protest mode, you it is very hard for that to go unnoticed and it's very hard for that to be tucked back in. It just kind of sparks something. And I thought Charlie in a way you believe deeply in the power of faithful few that would rise up and stand for Christ. Stand for the church. Stand for what's good and what's beautiful in this world and fight for fight against evil and just takes a small percentage three and a half% and I thought to myself that memorial service for my husband all of us came together it did not matter if you were Baptist it did not matter if you were Pentecostal Catholic didn't matter you were all under the banner of Christ. That was important. [applause] And I say that because I want this. This is why this tour exists. It's unifying. It's trying to pull together that collective of three and a half%. >> This is delusional. This is like simply delusional. I don't have another word to describe that. The three and a half% rule that comes from nonviolent political movements. The idea is that once around 3% or 3.5% of a population actively participates in sustained nonviolent civil resistance, it becomes very difficult for the system in power to ignore them. This is not the same thing. Um, but she's using it to metaphorically represent the faith and revival that she believes came from Charlie Kirk's memorial service. H this is hard to talk about too without I mean belief is such a subjective thing and Charlie Kirk's legacy I don't think should be destroyed by uh the happenings of TB USA after the fact but [clears throat] she's she's trying to talk about the revival that she believes her uh Charlie Kirk's death and memorial service led to. It's not a political strategy here. The 3.5% is actually talking about a moral and spiritual mission. Pairing it with the memorial in particular in the tour that she's been on, she's arguing that even in small numbers, their organization when unified has power. Now, I think it's a total failure of an of a metaphor. I think it's a flop. I know she's trying to ident uh give reinforcement to the TPSA identity and maybe, you know, stir up some good feelings about the revival effect or maybe giving people hope like I can make a difference even if I'm just one person. But to me, this framework that she's trying to use here with the 3.5% is really just putting pressure on individuals in this organization. Honestly, like using moral duty to create guilt or responsibility for societal change. And it's really highlighting the in-group, outgroup, us versus them mentality that I've been mentioning throughout this video. Framing non-believers as passive or obstructive to their to her mission her mission. Um, while the 3% the 3% line is based on legitimate research, uh, I think Erica Kirk framing it here for spiritual and motivational purposes is missing the mark. That's the nicest way that I can say that. The end. And you show the difference of when three and a half% of this nation rises up and prays for this nation and is in revival compared to the other side of what they think can change this nation but actually destroy it. The the the view of that is striking. It's it's striking and Charlie knew that. And I just I want us I just want us to understand and realize that the fire of the Holy Spirit is not supposed to be contained within the four walls of the church. It's not. >> Hi, I'm JT and I made Result Hunter the search engine for conserv. >> Sorry about that. I'm just giving you guys a couple jump scares today for for fun. Making sure you're still here with me. If we want to continue the wildfire of this revival across the nation, our mission is simple. It's always been simple. Bring people to Jesus. Make heaven. Very simple. So I I'm not asking you to do anything that I have not done. Freedom always comes with a cost. And it's interesting because evil nothing but love and I refuse I refuse to let his death be a foot in history. Guys, I need somebody who knows body language or psychology to leave in the comments why she does that creepy whispering thing. She'll be like, "I refuse. I refuse. What is that about?" Like, honestly, what is that about? Is she like filling time before she can gather her thoughts to say her next thing? What is that thing about that she does? What is it about? I can't understand it. The video is almost over. Hang in there. >> Church was never meant to retreat from culture. >> She did it again. It wasn't. Church was meant to culture. And Sunday's worship supposed to lead into Monday's mission. I just be courageous for Christ. It's not easy, but I promise you, just stand. God will do the rest. He'll do the rest. So tonight, please just hold your head high. Not because I say God strengthened by his grace and his We will change this country. We will change this world and we will impact this culture and God's by God's grace we will make. I am so grateful for you guys. God bless you. God bless you all and thank you again. for loving my husband and our family and Turning Point USA. So, well, hey, Sean Hannity here. Hey, click here to >> Okay, that's like 35 minutes. I cannot get back. That's like 35 minutes. I I cannot get back. Um, I've been starring some comments and I'm going to get to it. So custodian says they have to appeal to emotion because their rhetoric is fallacy written. I would argue have to appeal to God as well. God is on her side. It is a moral God-given authority. To argue against her is to be against God, you know. Crazy. Um Alexander says, "Why was the audio so bad?" because she and her team know that she sucks at these speeches. [gasps] Oh my god. Ben Waterman says, "Every other chat has this problem. It's the recording. Good to know it's not just mine." I was like, "Why can I not hear her?" Well, Alexandra also says, "I have never seen grief that looks like this in 55 years." I don't see grief at all personally. Ben Waterman, have you considered that she may simply be a psychopath? Um, you know, I I'm curious to know how many people think that in the chat. I have definitely considered that she has some type of pathogen or personality disorder. For sure. Yeah. Yes, I have. Milan says it is just barely possible that she's been threatened to be clipped or maybe it's her kids if she doesn't get out of there and Shabbat shalom, the pro-Israel tribe, but she's just lacking. I think that is what we all who want the best for humanity and hope in humanity are hoping deep down that she is uh just playing a role because she has to and that this is not actually her or her decisions. Um, I think that is the like silver lining that we're hoping for, which is also really sad if she is being held hostage in some way, but I don't see I don't see much evidence for that. I could be wrong. Definitely open to being wrong about that, but I just don't see any evidence for that so far. Um, oh yeah, back to this comment about her being a psychopath. For those of you who are new to my channel or maybe brand new, um I have a parent who is very pathogenic, very like borderline narcissistic personality disorder. So that's how I understand these things from an intimate point of view. I'm not a therapist or a researcher. I just was the child of somebody like that. So um Google user says there's a term for when a manipulative person connects divine or non-negotiable emotions to another issue. Yep. to coersse people into accepting the questionable thing as non-negotiable and trustworthy. Uhhuh. Uhhuh. Uhhuh. Uhhuh. Yes. Yes. This was used against me my whole life. It's actually a form of spiritual manipulation or spiritual abuse. Sage says, I got to comment this one again. Thank god there's no sound. Uhhuh. Yeah, that's why I did the captions. Um, Chanto says, "But understand this that in the last days there will come times of difficulty for people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, unholy." Well, dang. We may be there then. Peter says she is trying to sell us something and it and is making herself very, very rich. She flies in private jets. I know. Let's not forget that, huh? Let's not forget that. Um, oh yeah, Tiny Love says in the meanwhile she has 8 million in a GoFundMe account. Why does she need a GoFundMe account? Maybe it was a God approved GoFundMe account. And listen, I'm not hating on people who believe in God or Christians because I am too. I I do believe in God. consider myself a Christian, but I'm not going to weaponize it to manipulate people. That's the difference. Um, this is funny. Abandonment Waters, if you're constantly contradicting yourself and your story is always changing, you're either lying or you have Alzheimer's or dementia. Yeah. Thank you. Um, Alexandra says, "It's a scop." I would definitely encourage you to go watch my other video breaking down TPUSA's reaction after the fact and analyzing it as a scop from Chase Hughes, who is an expert in SCOPS. Um, if you go watch that video of mine with cha with the information that Chase Hughes presents, it's hard to look at it any other way afterwards. Truly, truly, truly. Um, also Ben says that they've taken 300 million in to date. Oh my gosh. And that the life insurance premium was 250K. Okay. Okay. Alexandra also says she's convinced that she and her group are very superior to the rest of us. And I think that uh it's hard to argue against that. Definitely. Um Celtic girl says, "Yeah, you could definitely tell she's trying to soften her image in this latest speech." A thousand%. I it seems like somebody came up and had like a really long talk with her about her dress, her speech, her the content of her speech, everything, her presentation. They're like going to do some damage control with this. Kelsey girl says, "Coolfriend, maybe stop all the legal letters now." That would have be amazing. Yeah, if you didn't have anything to hide, you wouldn't be afraid of people asking questions. Sage says, "We all go," she's funny. "We all lost that 35 minutes together. Now we need a support group." Has anyone been been going on the Reddit? Like the TP, it's called toilet paper USA, their subreddit or Candace Owens subreddit. I've been checking there a lot. Um it's just kind of mind-blowing how all this is going on. They think they're going to manipulate their way out of it. Um, it's just crazy. It's disgusting, actually. Gwen says, "Please leave Erica alone and deal with your own lives." E wants the attention. She does. Okay. She wants the attention. She chose this life. [sighs] Oh my god. Hate comments used to get to me and now I'm just like whatever. Um Gwen also says, "We are not supposed to tear down another believer. We are to pray for those who hurt and let God deal with the rest." You're right. We should probably pray for Erica. We should definitely pray for Erica Kirk. >> [sighs and gasps] >> Let's find one more comment. Why is this so funny to me? Um, oh god, guys. >> [laughter] >> Um, yeah. Just a moment. A moment for for Erica Kirk, I guess. Um, yeah. I hope this organization just burns to the ground. I guess that's the best that I can do, the best that I can hope for. But I'll keep Erica in my prayers. I'll keep uh all the people who still believe in her in my prayers. Yes. If she's being held hostage, let that be revealed, too. If she's being held hostage, I will feel so bad for criticizing her to this degree. I really will. That's another reason why we must keep Erica Kirk in our prayers because we don't actually know, I guess. Um, anyways guys, I got to go for a run. I'm going to try to go like three miles straight today and get it out of the way and get my adrenaline pumping. Um, I and to to wrap up the whole entire video, I do want to say this, okay? I do want to say this. Please embrace your curiosity. Embrace that critical thinking skill in your mind. Do not ignore your gut feeling when you think that something is off. Listen to your intuition. Make up your own mind about everything. Question everything and everyone. Question your own thoughts, your own beliefs. Please, please, please, please don't believe me. Believe what you come to believe. Read a wide variety of sources. Listen to a wide variety of videos. Always, always question things, please. That is how we avoid being manipulated. Yes. And if this helped you, if this video helped you in some way, gave you something insightful, or if you're interested in watching more, please like, comment your thoughts, subscribe to my channel for more breakdowns um of cultural, social, political moments. And share this with somebody who needs to understand the psychology behind the performance. Yeah, critical thinking always awesome. I'll talk to you guys next time. Uh, I'll see you in the chat next time. Everybody, go have a great weekend and we'll talk to you next time. Bye. [music] >> [music]
