Bill O'Reilly's Book on Confronting Evil After Kirk's Death

Showing 7 Confronting Evil videos from Charlie Kirk's video collection.

Bill O'Reilly's book Confronting Evil, released the day before Charlie Kirk's assassination, became an unplanned lens through which O'Reilly processed both Kirk's death and what he sees as a broader global deterioration into a new age of atrocity comparable to the 1930s. O'Reilly defined evil in concrete, personal terms, one human being deliberately harming another with full knowledge of the damage, and applied that definition to historical figures ranging from J.P. Morgan's financial ruthlessness to Hitler's ongoing ideological influence in the Middle East, while extending the framework to Vladimir Putin, whom he called a psychopath capable of nuclear escalation. O'Reilly described a personal conversation with President Trump at Yankee Stadium where he handed the president a copy of the book and warned him directly about Putin's unpredictability. He also criticized specific public figures, including a Harvard law professor and novelist Stephen King, for spreading false claims in the immediate aftermath of Kirk's shooting, arguing that celebrating or excusing political violence crosses a bright moral line regardless of the celebrant's own politics. Peter Schweizer and Glenn Beck both pressed O'Reilly further on whether genuine negotiation with Putin remains possible at all.
