Official reporting on Robinson's arrest states that his own family recognized him from released surveillance footage and turned him in to authorities roughly 33 hours after the shooting, a timeline FBI Director Kash Patel and Utah Governor Spencer Cox both credited to rapid interagency cooperation. Separately, researcher George Webb raised questions about the Challenger's parking position relative to Robinson's documented escape route, arguing the discrepancy points toward the possible involvement of an accomplice or coordinated diversion, a claim that remains disputed and unconfirmed.
