Geopolitics: Charlie Kirk's Foreign Policy Debates and Disagreements
Showing 7 Geopolitics videos from Charlie Kirk's video collection.
Charlie Kirk explicitly acknowledged disagreeing with several of his own close allies on geopolitics, most notably Candace Owens, whom he described weeks before his death as a great friend despite holding different views on Israel and international affairs generally. That same tolerance for internal disagreement extended to Kirk's own foreign policy positions being challenged directly: at Cambridge University, prepared students pressed him on arms deals with Saudi Arabia and Qatar and ongoing American involvement in Gaza, Yemen, and Ukraine, arguing his anti-war rhetoric didn't match the administration's actual record.
Kirk separately defended Israel's right to self-defense against Hezbollah in a campus debate, citing his own evacuation from Lebanon in 2006 as formative to his views. Kirk also described a lesser-known trip to Greenland alongside Donald Trump Jr., arguing the territory's strategic location and mineral wealth make it essential to future American interests regardless of which power ultimately controls it. Historian Paul Rahe offered a more traditional geopolitical analysis of the Russia-Ukraine war, arguing Vladimir Putin has trapped himself politically in a conflict he can no longer end without either total victory or the collapse of his own authority.
