Andrew Kolvet Unveils Six Point Punch List to Save American Dream for Young People After Charlie Kirk's Legacy

Andrew Kolvet, longtime co-host of the Charlie Kirk Show, lays out a six-point action plan designed to rebuild trust with young Americans and secure their future. From mass deportations to ending the H-1B visa scam, building 10 million new homes, and crushing college cartels, Kolvet explains why each item matters for the next generation. With AmericaFest approaching and capacity crowds expected, Turning Point USA prepares to make these bold ideas the centerpiece of conservative action heading into 2026. Kolvet warns that without delivering tangible results on domestic priorities, the coalition that delivered victory in 2024 could crumble.

The Six-Point Punch List for America's Youth

Andrew Kolvet, who served as Charlie Kirk's co-host and wingman for many years and now continues as one of the co-hosts of the Charlie Kirk Show, outlined a comprehensive six-point action plan aimed at reinvigorating young Americans' faith in the American dream. Speaking candidly about the challenges facing the next generation, Kolvet emphasized that the youth vote gained in 2024 was not permanent but rather a trial vote that must be continually earned through visible action and results.

The punch list begins with mass deportations, which Kolvet describes as addressing a visceral issue young people see in their communities. The invasion at the border has created housing crises, backed up emergency rooms, and sent a demoralizing message to young Americans that their country is no longer for them. The second point tackles the H-1B visa scam, with Kolvet noting that approximately 80% of these jobs go to entry-level and junior-level positions, the exact jobs American citizens need. When 70 to 80% go to Indians and another 10 to 15% to Chinese workers, young Americans see their country telling them it's no longer for them, which Kolvet calls depressing on an existential level.

Immigration Reform and the Future of Work

The third point calls for dramatically reducing legal immigration. With robotics, AI, and automation poised to eliminate many entry-level analyst jobs that represent the first rung on the economic ladder for college graduates, Kolvet argues that the 1.2 million green cards distributed annually based on a 1990 law are no longer justified or needed. The fourth point demands ending chain migration and the visa lottery, which Kolvet describes as bringing people to America without merit or genius, serving no rational purpose for the country.

Building Homes and Breaking Ground

Point five represents one of the most ambitious proposals: building 10 million new homes specifically for Americans. Kolvet stresses the need for visible evidence that young people are being put first, calling for big, hairy, bold, audacious ideas. He envisions President Trump and JD Vance breaking ground on camera with massive new home developments behind them. These homes would be protected from institutional buyers, foreign-born immigrants, illegals, and foreign investors, with priority given to first-time American home buyers. Kolvet suggests exploring ideas like writing off the first $50,000 of mortgages annually until age 35 or other creative financing to get young people into the housing market.

Crushing the College Cartel

The sixth point targets the college cartel. Kolvet describes how college graduates emerge indoctrinated, lacking necessary skills, and buried under $250,000 in debt. This debt burden pushes off what he calls the three M's: marriage, mating, and mortgage. These conservatizing life events are critical because, as even the Brookings Institute acknowledges, when young people experience them, they become conservatives and start voting accordingly. The delay in family formation and home ownership represents an existential crisis, leaving young people without belief in the system or the republic.

The Political Reality and Messaging Challenge

When asked about feedback from young people across Turning Point's massive operation spanning virtually every high school and college in the country, plus their large facility in Phoenix, Kolvet reported that young people love these action items but question why there's so much focus on foreign affairs and abstractions instead of domestic issues. While acknowledging that President Trump is uniquely positioned to thread the needle between peace abroad and prosperity at home, Kolvet emphasizes that messaging matters. He expresses confidence in the administration's messengers, including Trump, JD Vance, Stephen Miller, and Scott Bessent, and believes the administration is pivoting to address these concerns.

However, Kolvet warns that without political will and actual action, young people will call it out as empty promises. They need to see tangible evidence they can point to, proof that when they asked for something, they received it. Without delivery, young people will throw up their hands, give into nihilism and depression, and bail on the American dream entirely.

The Redistricting War and Midterm Strategy

Addressing the redistricting fight and concerns about the midterms, Kolvet refuses to write off the upcoming elections but acknowledges serious concerns. He worries that California versus Texas redistricting efforts might equal out in the wash, with Texas maps relying heavily on the Hispanic vote. If the economy doesn't deliver, if policies don't materialize, and if messaging fails, the Hispanic vote could regress to 2016 or 2020 levels, putting House seats in Texas back in play. He emphasizes the need for states like Indiana, Nebraska, Kansas, Florida, and Ohio to recognize the urgency and act.

On ballot chasing operations that Turning Point pioneered and perfected through hard lessons, Kolvet notes that while Democrats still invested more in canvassing than Republicans in 2024, they failed because they had a terrible message and candidate. Under Trump's realignment, Republicans now represent the low propensity party, making ballot chasing critically important. However, canvassing alone isn't enough. If the electorate isn't galvanized, they'll close doors in faces, throw literature in the trash just like they did with Kamala Harris materials. It's not either-or but both-and, a one-plus-two approach. In politics, there's no silver bullet; you have to do the work and deliver the goods.

AmericaFest and Charlie Kirk's Legacy

Looking ahead to AmericaFest, Kolvet revealed that after losing Charlie Kirk, the world galvanized in response, and the event exploded in size. Last year's event with President Trump drew 21,000 people to the Phoenix Convention Center, their biggest ever. This year's AmericaFest will be even bigger, with ticketing turned off due to fire marshal and venue capacity issues. The event will serve as both a testament and celebration of Charlie Kirk's life and legacy, teaching the lessons he imparted with a focus on action.

The debates happening on the right will be front and center on the main stage, with numerous breakout sessions. Kolvet teased a big announcement about another attendee coming in the next couple of days. AmericaFest will serve as the heart and center of the conservative universe for three to four days at the Phoenix Convention Center and will be the launch pad for 2026 efforts. Real America's Voice and the War Room will broadcast from the event with their booth serving as a major gathering place.
