Brandon Tatum Mocks the No Kings Protests and Defends Turning Point USA From Racism Claims

Brandon Tatum tears into the No Kings protests held across the country on October 18, 2025, calling them a publicity stunt timed to a government shutdown and mocking Democrats over their 2028 prospects, including Gavin Newsom and Zohran Mamdani. He plays a clip of President Trump dismissing the protests from Air Force One, then accuses MSNBC of passing off 2017 Boston counter-protest footage as live coverage of the October rally to inflate its size. Tatum singles out an elementary school teacher who was filmed mocking Charlie Kirk's death at one of the rallies, urging viewers to contact her school. He also plays footage of a protester calling for violence against ICE agents, a heated racial confrontation at a rally, and a Turning Point USA member defending the organization against accusations of racism from a white activist who voices support for Luigi Mangione.

Brandon Tatum Mocks the No Kings Protests

Brandon Tatum opens by mocking the No Kings protests held over the weekend, framing them as a coordinated publicity stunt timed to coincide with a government shutdown.

"Y'all trying to put up Gavin Newsom, who's a complete failure in California... What is your economic plan? Communism, socialism. Mamdani is the leader of the future of the party of the Democrats. What are y'all saying?" Tatum says. "Y'all got y'all heads whooped by a 70-year-old man with a toupee. You're never going to win again."

Donald Trump Responds From Air Force One

Tatum plays a clip of President Trump responding to questions about the protests aboard Air Force One.

"I think it's a joke. I looked at the people. They're not representative of this country... The demonstrations were very small, very ineffective," Trump says, adding, "I'm not a king. I'm not a king. I work my ass off to make our country great. That's all it is."

MSNBC Accused of Using Old Footage to Inflate Crowd Size

Tatum accuses MSNBC of passing off old footage as live coverage of the October 18, 2025 rally to make the crowd size appear larger.

"It is Boston, but it's not October 18th, 2025. It's August 19th, 2017, at a totally different counter-rally," Tatum says, arguing the network pulled archival footage rather than sourcing live helicopter coverage. "This ain't that many people coming out against Donald Trump."

Calling Out a Teacher Who Mocked Charlie Kirk's Death

Tatum highlights footage of an elementary school teacher mocking Kirk's death at one of the rallies, saying she has since been fired. He encourages viewers to send measured, non-threatening emails to her school district to ensure other teachers understand the behavior is unacceptable, while explicitly discouraging harassment.

"Just imagine what she's telling those kids at the school about Charlie Kirk," Tatum says.

A Merch Fundraiser for the Kirk Family

Tatum points viewers to TatumStore.com, where proceeds from Charlie Kirk-branded merchandise go directly to Kirk's family, arguing that the loss of Kirk's income from his show represents a significant, ongoing financial loss for his wife and children beyond his existing wealth.

Violent Rhetoric Aimed at ICE Agents

Tatum plays a clip of a protester calling for violence against immigration enforcement officers, contrasting it with the legal consequences faced by January 6th defendants.

"You got a guy that's calling for the death of ICE agents," Tatum says, also referencing comments by television host Don Lemon suggesting undocumented immigrants arm themselves against deportation enforcement.

A Confrontation Over Race at a No Kings Rally

Tatum plays footage of a black attendee at a predominantly white rally telling a white participant he doesn't belong there because of his race, framing it as an example of performative victimhood rather than genuine grievance.

A Turning Point USA Member Pushes Back on Accusations of Racism

In a separate clip, a black Turning Point USA member confronts a white activist who accuses the organization of racism.

"I've been with Turning Point since 2018. How can I help create something that is racist against me?" the member asks, pressing the activist on his support for Luigi Mangione, who is charged with killing a healthcare executive. The activist confirms his support for Mangione, prompting Tatum to push back forcefully on the comparison.

Tatum Vows to Respond to Violence at Future Events

Tatum closes with a warning that he will personally respond with physical force if protesters become violent at future Turning Point USA events.

"I'm beating these people up. I'm not being nice no more," Tatum says, describing past incidents at events where he says masked protesters threw rocks and spat on attendees. "I'm not putting up with it. I'm not putting up with it."
