Brandon Tatum Condemns Destiny's Disrespectful Response to Charlie Kirk's Death and Erika Kirk's Grief

Brandon Tatum confronts controversial streamer Destiny over shocking statements mocking Erika Kirk and the aftermath of Charlie Kirk's assassination. Tatum dissects Destiny's claims that Donald Trump must lower the temperature before he condemns the murder, his mockery of Charlie's widow, and false narratives about political violence. With Jack Posobiec and Ana Kasparian also challenging Destiny's rhetoric, Tatum exposes what he calls gaslighting and deflection while defending the peaceful conservative response to tragedy. As fundraising for the Kirk family approaches half a million dollars, Tatum calls out the difference between leftist celebration of violence and the dignified mourning from conservatives worldwide.

Destiny's Shocking Statements About Charlie Kirk's Death

Brandon Tatum opens with a stark assessment of controversial online personality Destiny, describing him as someone who gaslight and lacks substance despite sounding articulate. Tatum recounts how Destiny responded to Charlie Kirk's assassination with what he considers the most disrespectful commentary in Destiny's entire internet career. According to Tatum, Destiny mocked Erika Kirk when she posted about her husband's coffin, responded sarcastically to calls for flags to be flown at half-mast, and stated he would end conservative debate callouts with "don't dodge, bro, that's not what Charlie would have wanted."

During a debate, Destiny argued that the only way the country moves forward is when conservatives realize they need to turn the temperature down. He claimed that seven out of ten of the largest protests in American history happened under Donald Trump, and that the overwhelming majority of political violence over the past 20 years has been conservative. When confronted about the Utah governor's statement that the shooter had been radicalized by leftist ideology, Destiny dismissed it and stated he wouldn't condemn anything until the President of the United States calls for everyone to calm down.

Update on Fundraising for the Kirk Family

Tatum updates viewers that fundraising efforts for Erika Kirk and her family have nearly reached half a million dollars through t-shirt sales, with 100% of profits going directly to the family. He thanks Extreme Apparel for helping with the printing of approximately 40,000 shirts and notes that volunteers from the community have stepped up to help process orders. The shirts are available for pre-order to manage the high volume methodically. Tatum emphasizes that only purchases from verified sources—his store, Turning Point USA, or affiliates that explicitly commit proceeds to the family—should be supported to ensure funds reach Erika Kirk.

Tatum's Critique of Destiny's Arguments

Tatum systematically dismantles Destiny's claims, pointing out that the largest protests during Trump's presidency were organized by the left protesting against Trump, not conservatives causing violence. He reminds viewers of riots and destruction during Black Lives Matter protests and other incidents where leftist activists burned buildings, assaulted people, and caused deaths. Tatum calls Destiny disingenuous for claiming the left has been telling people to turn the temperature down, stating he could compile a highlight reel of Democrats encouraging people to accost and assault conservatives.

Tatum finds it particularly absurd that Destiny demands Donald Trump tell people to turn the temperature down when, according to Tatum, conservatives don't have the temperature raised. He notes that after Charlie Kirk's assassination, conservatives responded peacefully through prayer and memorials rather than riots and violence. Tatum observes that people all over the world have been peacefully assembling and praying for Charlie, with no violence from the conservative side.

Destiny's Mockery of Erika Kirk

In another clip, Destiny argues that when grief is weaponized for political recruitment and radicalization, people have not only the ability but the obligation to mock it. He references Erika Kirk's 17-minute speech where she discussed good versus evil and her appearance in Turning Point USA advertisements. Ana Kasparian pushes back, asking Destiny if he thinks it's okay to mock a grieving widow specifically because others might be using her grief for political purposes.

Destiny responds that Erica gave a composed speech and appeared in ads shortly after her husband's assassination, suggesting this indicates political weaponization. Kasparian defends Erica, explaining that if her own husband were assassinated, she wouldn't be able to have that level of composure and would be out for blood. She tells Destiny he needs to understand what it's like to lose someone you love, chose to spend your life with, and raise children with, especially when that person was violently and viciously assassinated.

Tatum expresses outrage at Destiny's position, calling it absolutely ridiculous to claim Erica is using Charlie's death to recruit. He points out that Charlie Kirk spent his entire adult life leading and building Turning Point USA, and after his death, his wife is simply encouraging people to continue his legacy. Tatum questions how this constitutes leveraging death to build something already built, noting that Erica is just inspiring people to continue what Charlie was doing—impacting the lives of young Christians and young men in America.

Jack Posobiec Confronts Destiny

Jack Posobiec also confronts Destiny during the same discussion, speaking about Erika Kirk standing strong for her family and children while dealing with the reality that she will never grow old with Charlie, never have more children or grandchildren with him, never create those memories together. Posobiec notes that every single moment of the future they had planned was destroyed because someone fired a bullet at Charlie Kirk that said "Hey, fascist catch."

When Posobiec mentions the bullet inscription, Destiny interrupts aggressively, calling him shameless and accusing him of lying about the bullet details. Posobiec attempts to continue his point about people claiming there's no leftist connection and even lying to suggest a Christian conservative connection, despite the writing on the bullet casings showing symbols commonly associated with the left.

Tatum praises Posobiec's composure, stating he's inspired by how Jack handled the confrontation. Tatum admits he probably couldn't have maintained such composure and might have threatened Destiny if he had been in that conversation. He commends Posobiec as a genuine person whose content he has come to appreciate after appearing on his show and seeing him at various places with Charlie Kirk.

Evidence of Leftist Radicalization

Tatum addresses the evidence surrounding the shooter's radicalization, noting that the Utah governor made clear statements that the shooter had been radicalized by leftist ideology and was in a relationship with a transgender person. He expresses disbelief that Destiny claimed ignorance of these publicly available facts. Tatum points to the shell casings recovered by the FBI with inscriptions as evidence, noting that someone who goes to the measure of shooting Charlie Kirk in front of everyone clearly disagrees with his ideology.

He emphasizes that nobody on the right has ever done anything similar and points to the pattern of attempted violence against conservative figures, including two attempts on Donald Trump's life. Tatum states that looking at the shooter reveals someone who was a "deranged leftist," supported by his Discord messages and his relationship with a transgender person. The shooter's parents confirmed he had been indoctrinated and that during a dinner shortly before the event, he was lamenting about how he hated Charlie Kirk and believed Trump was spreading hate.

Tatum finds it ironic that someone claiming Trump and Charlie Kirk spread hate would want to kill them when neither has physically harmed anyone. He notes that Charlie Kirk only "killed" people in debates but never engaged in physical violence, even when people spit on him or threw milk and eggs at him on campus—treatment Tatum admits he wouldn't have handled as gracefully.

Who's Really Celebrating Violence?

Tatum concludes by asking who is actually celebrating Charlie Kirk's death. He points out it's not conservatives, not Jews, but leftist activists regardless of race who are celebrating the assassination. He challenges Destiny's demand that Donald Trump tell people to turn the temperature down, asking why Trump should address the left's behavior when they are the ones committing and celebrating violence.

Tatum acknowledges he felt compelled to address these clips despite there being much more content available, including Destiny's apparent ignorance of the Utah governor's statements about the shooter's radicalization. He closes by asking viewers to pray for people like Destiny and to support Charlie Kirk's family through verified channels. Tatum commits to presenting Erika Kirk with a check for over a million dollars to use however she wishes—whether for Turning Point USA, the Kirk Foundation, building a school, or any other purpose. He emphasizes his love for Charlie, Erica, and Turning Point USA while warning viewers against purchasing merchandise from sellers who haven't committed proceeds to the family.
