Candace Owens Exposes Selective Outrage Over Black Families Versus Illegal Immigrant Separation on Fox News

March 6, 2023

Candace Owens delivered a powerful rebuke to left-wing selective outrage during a heated Fox News debate, challenging why the same energy directed at border family separations isn't applied to decades of black family destruction in America. Owens confronted the hypocrisy of those who claim to champion women and families while ignoring how welfare policies have subsidized single motherhood and fatherlessness in black communities for over six decades. The debate highlighted the glaring double standard between how conservative women like Kirsten Nielsen, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, and Melania Trump are treated compared to their liberal counterparts, with Owens refusing to back down from the uncomfortable truths about policies that have devastated the black family structure.

Candace Owens Confronts Selective Feminist Outrage

Candace Owens wasted no time cutting through the political theater during a heated Fox News segment about whether there's a war on conservative women. When her debate opponent attempted to frame immigration enforcement as an attack on women and mothers, Owens immediately pushed back against what she called "selective feminism" from the left.

"I hate this selective feminism that we hear on the left all the time," Owens stated firmly. "You are not a feminist. This is not defensible whatsoever. You sit here and you say this. I'm sorry, you care about mothers?"

The debate centered on the treatment of women in the Trump administration, particularly Kirsten Nielsen, who faced harassment and was forced out of a Mexican restaurant by protesters over immigration policy. But Owens refused to let the conversation remain narrowly focused on border enforcement.

The Real Crisis: Black Family Separation Subsidized by Government

Owens redirected the conversation to an issue she argued deserves far more attention: the systematic destruction of black families through government policy. "The basis of this is that people are upset that illegal immigrants are being separated from their mothers. Why don't you refocus some of the energies to the black community? They've been having their families separated. In fact, it's subsidized in the black community. You appreciate single motherhood. You are given more money to families for father absence."

This pointed critique highlighted how welfare policies have financially incentivized single motherhood in black communities for decades, contributing to fatherlessness and family breakdown. Owens challenged the authenticity of outrage over temporary border separations when there has been relative silence about the permanent family destruction occurring in American cities.

"All of the selective fake outrage when you guys do not have the same defenses for the black community is really lost on me, and it's time's up on this all together," Owens declared. "I think the black community has had enough of you guys being selectively outraged for parents of illegal immigrants but not for the parents of the black community who have been separated from their families for about six decades."

The Double Standard for Conservative Women

The debate also exposed the disparate treatment between conservative and liberal women in public life. Owens' opponent, Jessica, argued that women in the Trump administration like Kellyanne Conway, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, and Kirsten Nielsen don't deserve support from feminists because they advocate for "policies that hurt women" and "keep them in a bad economic position."

When asked directly whether Kirsten Nielsen deserved to be harassed and forced out of a restaurant, Jessica defended the protesters, claiming that "people should have civil conversations" but that protesters had "every right as a public official to come up to her table and to call her out."

Owens warned this approach sets a dangerous precedent. "This is a very slippery slope. The left should stop this because then you're basically saying that in the future this is going to be allowed in administrations that you do support."

Two-Parent Households: The Foundation of Healthy Communities

Throughout the debate, Owens emphasized the importance of promoting two-parent households rather than subsidizing family breakdown. She pointed to the devastating impact of fatherlessness in black communities, referencing "the fathers that are separated, the fathers that are behind bars, the fathers that are buried on the south side of Chicago and in Baltimore."

The argument underscored a fundamental difference in worldview: policies that reward single motherhood versus policies that strengthen marriage and intact families. Owens suggested that if policymakers genuinely cared about women and children, they would promote family structures that research consistently shows lead to better outcomes for children and communities.

Authenticity Versus Political Theater

What made the exchange particularly striking was the contrast in authenticity between the two debaters. Owens spoke with conviction about issues affecting the black community, while her opponent appeared to rely on rehearsed talking points about women's economic position and healthcare rights.

When Jessica accused Owens of attacking women and not being a feminist, Owens quickly clarified: "I said the left. I didn't say you, Jessica, so don't make it personal. I said the left. It's selective feminism on the left that we're seeing."

The exchange highlighted a pattern observable across political discourse: the tendency of some commentators to deflect from substantive policy discussions by claiming personal offense or labeling disagreement as "hate."

The Hypocrisy in Defending Public Officials

The debate also touched on how differently public officials are treated based on their political affiliation. Conservative women like Melania Trump, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, and Kirsten Nielsen have faced intense public harassment, personal attacks, and media scrutiny that rarely extends to liberal women in similar positions.

Jessica defended the harassment of Kirsten Nielsen by claiming she "initially came out and lied about what this president's policy did." Yet this standard of accountability through public confrontation and restaurant ejections has never been applied equally to officials in Democratic administrations.

Owens called out this inconsistency, noting the "completely fake outrage" that emerges selectively based on political convenience rather than consistent principles.

Statistics Over Emotion

While the debate covered emotional territory, Owens consistently grounded her arguments in observable facts: the six-decade history of family separation in black communities, the government subsidization of single motherhood, the violence claiming fathers in cities like Chicago and Baltimore, and the incarceration rates affecting black families.

Her opponent, by contrast, leaned heavily on abstract claims about "assault on Women's Health Care rights" and keeping women in "a bad economic position" without engaging the specific statistical realities Owens raised about black family structure.

This pattern—facts versus feelings, specific data versus vague accusations—characterized the fundamental difference in approach between the two debaters.

[00:00] Candace Owens was not about to Hopscotch

[00:02] around with this woman she said hold my

[00:04] beer and got straight to the facts you

[00:06] can say whatever you want but the

[00:07] statistics don't lie we know that if you

[00:09] raise the minimum wage two-thirds of

[00:11] people in this country on the minimum

[00:12] wage are women they need that help we

[00:14] know that there is assault on Women's

[00:16] Health Care rights from this

[00:17] Administration things like that just yep

[00:20] just please please I hate this this

[00:22] selective feminism that we hear on the

[00:23] left all the time okay well don't make

[00:25] this a feminism issue because it's not a

[00:27] feminism

[00:28] you're not I'm not done I'm not done

[00:30] okay but you're going out and attacking

[00:32] woman you are not a feminist this is not

[00:34] defensible whatsoever and you sit here

[00:36] and you say this I'm sorry you care

[00:37] about mothers the basis of this is that

[00:39] people are upset that illegal immigrants

[00:41] are being separated from their mothers

[00:42] why don't you refocus some of the

[00:43] energies the black community they've

[00:45] been having their family separated in

[00:46] fact it's subsidized to the black

[00:48] community you appreciate single

[00:49] motherhood you are given more mother for

[00:51] more more money to families for

[00:52] fatherless absence so all of the

[00:54] selective fake outrageous when you guys

[00:56] do not have the same defenses for the

[00:58] black community is really lost on me and

[00:59] it's time's UPS on this all together I

[01:02] think the black community has had enough

[01:03] of you guys being selectively outraged

[01:05] for parents of illegal immigrants but

[01:06] not for the parents of black community

[01:07] who have been separated from their

[01:08] family there's about six decades all

[01:10] right I just want to point out wait wait

[01:12] Candace ain't playing no holds bars

[01:15] unleashing as she usually does and you

[01:18] can tell right away you can usually spot

[01:20] when somebody's fake especially in the

[01:22] political political sphere if I could

[01:24] speak English this girl right here just

[01:25] by her sheer reaction is clearly

[01:28] disingenuous as most of these left-wing

[01:30] Looney Tunes are but Candace is saying

[01:32] hey you're you're paying all this this

[01:34] mind and giving all this focus and

[01:36] attention to immigrants but what about

[01:38] the black community what about black

[01:39] mothers you give them bonuses and dish

[01:42] out money like this is going out of

[01:43] style for mothers being single and and

[01:45] not having fathers in the homes how

[01:47] about flipping the script and promoting

[01:49] two-parent households promoting marriage

[01:51] that Covenant that God created you know

[01:53] where everything functions a whole lot

[01:55] smoother when you have two parents in

[01:56] the household now it'll go a whole lot

[01:58] smoother all around if you base it and

[02:00] godly values and raise your children

[02:02] with discipline and instill those Godly

[02:04] foundations in their lives and sculpt

[02:06] them that way but let's at least start

[02:08] with promoting two parent households

[02:09] instead of rewarding mothers for being

[02:11] single for just basically sleeping

[02:13] around or you know the fathers play a

[02:15] role in it too they have a

[02:16] responsibility as well but don't give

[02:18] all this credit to uh immigrants and

[02:19] illegal people and things of that nature

[02:21] why not promote two-parent households

[02:24] Why not start there and like I just want

[02:26] to point out ladies I just want to point

[02:27] out let's keep this civil we as I open

[02:29] up this segment there is already so much

[02:31] hate in this indecency in this country

[02:33] so let's just keep this debate a debate

[02:35] and keep it civil Jessica I I believe I

[02:37] was kicking it civil and then Candace

[02:38] told me that I wasn't a feminist I also

[02:40] believe that Candace doesn't speak

[02:41] either

[02:42] okay I said the left I didn't say you

[02:45] Jessica so don't make it personal I said

[02:47] the left it's selective feminism on the

[02:49] left that we're seeing

[02:50] I disagree with you and I'm going to do

[02:52] that politely I'm going to return to my

[02:54] original argument which is that we have

[02:56] heard this for years that kellyanne

[02:58] Conway Sarah Huckabee Sanders and all

[03:01] the women who work for this President

[03:02] and support his agenda aren't getting

[03:04] their due they're not getting their due

[03:06] from the feminist Community because

[03:07] they're advocating for policies that

[03:09] hurt women that keep them in a bad

[03:12] economic position that don't allow them

[03:14] to leave live equally in this Society

[03:18] for the black woman

[03:20] do you think that Kirsten Nielsen should

[03:22] be harassed because of her position and

[03:24] because what is going on with

[03:25] immigration do you think because of that

[03:27] she deserves to be treated the way that

[03:29] she does she was essentially forced out

[03:31] of a Mexican restaurant protesters in

[03:33] there you may disagree with her but do

[03:34] you think the way she's been treated is

[03:36] fair I think that what Kirsten Nielsen

[03:38] did and initially coming out and lying

[03:40] about what This president's policy did

[03:42] than having to backtrack on it that was

[03:44] my question position though I think that

[03:47] people should have civil conversations

[03:49] about it and certainly have every right

[03:51] as a public official to come up to her

[03:53] table and to call her out on her lies

[03:56] and this administration's lies if she

[03:58] wants to leave because of it that's on

[04:00] her but she should be open to that

[04:02] dialogue with the American people

[04:04] Candace very quickly this is a very

[04:07] slippery slope the left should stop this

[04:08] because then you're basically saying

[04:10] that in the future this is going to be

[04:11] allowed in administrations that you do

[04:12] support and as I said the selective

[04:15] outrage for illegal families when this

[04:16] has been going on in the black community

[04:17] no one talks about the fathers that are

[04:19] separated the fathers that are behind

[04:21] bars the fathers that are buried on the

[04:23] south side of Chicago and in Baltimore

[04:25] so again this is completely to me seems

[04:27] like fake outrage and I don't support it

[04:28] is

[04:34] sanctioned those programs Candace and

[04:36] Jessica we will leave the debate right

[04:38] thanks Abby have a good Sunday both of

[04:40] you thank you so much all right oh yeah

[04:42] woof is right you could tell that these

[04:45] leftists they tried to cover it up they

[04:46] try to act like they care about all

[04:48] women all people in general but in this

[04:50] case we're talking about women they try

[04:52] to act like they're outraged about a

[04:54] certain select group of women but what

[04:56] about the black women what about paying

[04:58] them some homage what about treating all

[05:00] people fairly and promoting what is

[05:02] going to enhance Society all around in

[05:04] the grand scheme of things two parent

[05:06] households will always promote a more

[05:08] valuable society and just more dignity

[05:11] filled wholesome moral values all of

[05:13] that sort of stuff when you have two

[05:15] parents not not single mothers not

[05:16] whether it's Mexicans or uh black or

[05:19] anything like that start promoting what

[05:21] really matters again let me reiterate

[05:23] this Jessica girl I've seen her on Fox

[05:24] before she always has the liberal

[05:26] perspective and I could just spot that

[05:28] she's disingenuous almost every time

[05:30] I've seen her and especially here you

[05:32] could tell that she's not really an

[05:33] advocate for all women she's not really

[05:35] an advocate for anybody but her self in

[05:37] the the left Wicked Ways of thinking and

[05:40] it's it's not about hate that's a

[05:41] cop-out that's what they always do every

[05:43] time they hear something that they don't

[05:45] like they call it hate speech and the

[05:47] hypocrisy on the left that I witnessed

[05:49] time and time again and I'm sure you've

[05:50] seen it as well it's absolutely

[05:51] disgusting but Candace gets on here and

[05:54] it doesn't matter if it's a guy or a

[05:55] girl she shuts them up with facts and I

[05:57] always love how she calls out the lies

[05:59] of other men and women she it don't

[06:01] matter if you want to step up to the

[06:02] plate she's knocking it out of the park

[06:04] Grand Slam no strikes nothing just out

[06:06] of the park she wipes the floor with

[06:08] anyone's illogical nonsense by just

[06:11] telling the truth if people would just

[06:12] do that we'd get a whole lot further in

[06:14] society the truth shall set you free but

[06:17] for whatever reason people can't

[06:18] understand that simple Common Sense

[06:20] basic level understanding they always

[06:22] want to latch onto these lies and keep

[06:23] on digging themselves deeper and deeper

[06:25] with these secrets but we need a whole

[06:27] lot more Candace Owens in the world the

[06:30] world needs a whole lot more of people

[06:32] like this just genuine authentic calls

[06:35] it like it is like the Donald trumps of

[06:37] the world and someone who just he just

[06:39] tells the truth isn't going to back down

[06:40] when faced with a little controversy a

[06:42] little heat little opposition they they

[06:44] stand firm in what they know to be true

[06:46] but let's talk about the top of your

[06:48] hand if you saw the headline it read is

[06:50] there a war on conservative women

[06:51] basically what they're saying is are

[06:53] Republican women treated fairly in

[06:55] comparison to Democrat women absolutely

[06:57] not in my personal opinion did y'all

[06:59] witness all the crap that first lady

[07:01] Melania Trump had to deal with this girl

[07:03] Jessica she wanted to sweep that under

[07:05] the rug and act like they didn't didn't

[07:06] exist digging into her past her

[07:08] husband's past aka Big 45 uh harassment

[07:11] of her their kids as a whole step and

[07:14] the one that they had uh Baron Trump I

[07:16] believe and degrading name calling the

[07:18] list could go on and on they treated

[07:20] that family absolutely horrible but then

[07:22] you you look at the praise and idolatry

[07:24] that Michelle Obama gets that she

[07:26] received when Obama was in office Barack

[07:28] and still to this day despite the

[07:30] blatant False victimhood Image that she

[07:33] Paints in the media and as a

[07:34] best-selling author it's absolutely

[07:36] volatile and look at all the crap that

[07:38] Hillary Clinton has got away with all

[07:40] the Dirty Deeds that she's done behind

[07:42] closed doors the Epstein's the the

[07:44] everything that the clintons have hid

[07:46] and people just act like they don't want

[07:48] to talk about that she's a leftist don't

[07:50] bring it up it it there's nothing there

[07:52] there's nothing there to see just like

[07:54] with Hunter Biden now just these

[07:55] Democrats just keep going and going and

[07:57] stacking the bar higher and higher with

[07:59] filth with wickedness with evil swappy

[08:02] stuff that Trump when he was in office

[08:04] he started to unveil it he keeps trying

[08:06] to unveil it I'll be pulling for a trump

[08:08] 2024 absolutely but come on now y'all

[08:10] when it comes to Republican versus

[08:12] Democrat fairness versus what's really

[08:14] going on I understand it's usually

[08:16] jacked up on both sides when it comes to

[08:18] to certain things but this one isn't

[08:20] even close not even close these

[08:22] Republican women are absolutely bashed

[08:25] to the to the to the core you see the

[08:27] aocs of the world the ludicrous

[08:29] statements that they make every single

[08:31] day and then how women Republican women

[08:33] just usually carry themselves with pride

[08:35] with dignity I know prize it's not a

[08:37] good thing but they just carry

[08:38] themselves in a way that's very

[08:39] sophisticated versus this fake cover-up

[08:42] job that that left us always try to do

[08:44] you can't tell me that Republican women

[08:46] aren't completely brutalized versus

[08:48] Democrat women I can't say I'm surprised

[08:50] though because it's always a double

[08:52] standard Donald Trump did a great job as

[08:54] president he was a businessman our

[08:55] economy was booming everything he said

[08:57] he went in there to do not as a

[08:59] politician you know he was everybody

[09:01] loved him when he wasn't a politician

[09:02] everybody loved him when he was on The

[09:04] Apprentice when he was just Donald Trump

[09:05] Trump Towers friends with all the black

[09:06] folks Oprah Winfrey uh Al sharp tongue

[09:09] and Jesse Jackson everybody rocked with

[09:11] Donald Trump until he got in office and

[09:13] he started to unveil the curtain but

[09:15] just think how much better he could have

[09:17] done if he wouldn't have had to deal

[09:18] with any of these uh collusions and

[09:20] made-up plots against him just look at

[09:22] the the big picture take a step back

[09:24] simply saying make America great again

[09:26] now somehow gets twisted as hate speech

[09:28] and and racist because the the sheer

[09:31] toxicity that oozes from these loony

[09:34] leftists from these Democrats they

[09:36] always want to latch onto this

[09:37] pessimistic mindset but in reality they

[09:39] want to paint the victim mindset but in

[09:41] reality they're the ones that keep

[09:42] sinking black folks Mexicans everybody

[09:44] down lower and lower because they want

[09:46] people to depend on them and not know

[09:48] how to get it on their own not know how

[09:49] to work hard for themselves and not know

[09:51] how to combine as a unit as a you know

[09:53] as a family structure father mother and

[09:56] raise their kids that way instead they

[09:57] want to promote all these satanic ways

[09:59] of thinking and you could be your own

[10:00] God truth is relative and try to cover

[10:02] it up like they're religious like they

[10:04] really believe in God fear God but I

[10:06] don't know what God that they're fearing

[10:07] because it ain't God Almighty it ain't

[10:09] Yahweh it ain't Jesus Christ father son

[10:11] Holy Spirit it ain't that they're

[10:12] promoting some some false idolatry and

[10:14] Wicked Ways of thinking but pray for

[10:17] them y'all pray for these leftists pray

[10:19] for the entire world because this is

[10:21] what happens when the real God isn't at

[10:23] the Forefront and guiding your steps in

[10:25] righteousness based on the Rock the

[10:27] foundation the Bible basic instructions

[10:29] before leaving Earth but for me in my

[10:31] house we're going to continue to serve

[10:33] the Lord and I'm gonna dish out some

[10:34] biblical soul food just for something to

[10:36] marinate on for those of you that don't

[10:37] know God don't fear God or just need a

[10:39] swift kick in the butt and a little

[10:40] reminder Isaiah 25 verse 1 says Lord you

[10:44] are my God I will exalt you I will give

[10:46] thanks to your name for you have worked

[10:48] wonders plans formed long ago with

[10:51] perfect faithfulness I put my trust in

[10:53] God I walk with the Lord because he

[10:55] changed my life he shine the light on

[10:58] all the darkness that was going on in my

[11:00] life my Wicked Ways my sin that only

[11:01] leads to depression anxiety ultimately

[11:03] when you wage that sin it will always

[11:05] lead to death I'm going for Eternal

[11:07] salvation and peace the only way to get

[11:09] that is through Jesus Christ the son so

[11:11] again pray for these people pray for for

[11:13] this Jessica woman and anybody on either

[11:16] side of the aisle when it comes to

[11:17] politics at the end of the day if you

[11:19] don't put your faith and your hope in

[11:20] God Almighty it don't matter if you're

[11:22] right or left the one true king on the

[11:24] throne that determines everything you

[11:25] can make your plans but the Lord

[11:27] determines your steps and how it

[11:28] actually unfolds and he will always work

[11:30] it out to serve his kingdom so look up

[11:32] stop looking so much right and left

[11:34] although I just you know gave a whole
