[00:02] that victimhood is caught as a virtue

[00:04] and i'm sure you have commonalities you

[00:06] see this in the uk i can see it through

[00:07] reading between the lines and all the

[00:09] different

[00:10] um kind of all the different articles

[00:11] written about the labor party

[00:13] is that somehow if you are a victim for

[00:15] whatever reason you think you're a

[00:16] victim

[00:16] that is worn as a badge of honor and

[00:18] they compete of who can be the biggest

[00:20] possible victim

[00:21] when in reality the virtue is overcoming

[00:23] whatever victimhood that might be

[00:25] um and the virtue is candace owens story

[00:27] so the the actually western society

[00:29] and the uk is part of this i mean the uk

[00:31] is an unbelievably great country

[00:33] and you have so much to be proud of

[00:35] which is why i'm so thrilled

[00:37] i hope that you guys get the hell out of

[00:39] the eu then you guys can be

[00:40] a proud country because

[00:45] you guys have an amazing history

[00:48] and you have so much to be proud of you

[00:50] brought common law to the world

[00:52] you guys have been a benevolent country

[00:54] you have stood against the face of evil

[00:56] time and time again

[00:57] you have been an entrepreneurial country

[00:59] you you have so much

[01:01] and that that's why candace and i talk

[01:02] about that there is an appropriate sense

[01:04] of nationalism and patriotic identity

[01:07] that is okay to talk about

[01:08] and but the story of western society and

[01:10] candace owens really embodies the story

[01:12] of western society

[01:13] is what's called the hero's journey

[01:15] where you start with very little to

[01:16] nothing

[01:17] and you go through circumstance you go

[01:19] through adversity you're able to

[01:21] overcome that adversity

[01:22] and then you're able to succeed and the

[01:23] great stories that we all grew up

[01:25] reading whether it be lord of the rings

[01:27] whether it be harry potter all you know

[01:28] that story this is

[01:30] the hero's journey or you think about it

[01:32] it's not harry potter

[01:33] was you know he lived underneath the

[01:35] stairwell and he applied for government

[01:37] programs

[01:38] went to local community college rejected

[01:41] his letter to the school of hogwarts

[01:43] witchcraft and wizardry

[01:45] went through some sort of medieval dance

[01:47] theory class

[01:48] and then worked at starbucks as a

[01:50] barista no one's going to read that

[01:52] story

[01:57] instead instead that's what the left is

[01:59] selling us

[02:00] is this horribly miserable dwelling in

[02:03] mediocrity

[02:05] vision what we believe in is no no no we

[02:07] believe in the individual

[02:09] the individual is what built the west

[02:10] it's not the collective it's not group

[02:12] identity

[02:13] based on victimhood instead it's the

[02:15] stories that we dreamt growing up

[02:18] okay it's the harry potter story where

[02:20] you're going to take a big risk

[02:21] you're going to create a team of people

[02:23] that matter you know the story is

[02:25] obviously all embedded in our

[02:26] consciousness at this point

[02:27] and then you're able to achieve

[02:29] something bigger than you could have

[02:30] ever imagined whatever that might be

[02:31] whether it be

[02:32] composing a song or building a family or

[02:34] starting a business

[02:36] that's what makes the west the best

[02:38] every other culture that has ever been

[02:39] tried has been about

[02:40] either the empowerment of the elites and

[02:42] the ruling class

[02:43] and the suppression of those that are

[02:45] not at that level

[02:47] or the absolute continuation of serfdom

[02:50] into perpetuity and so

[02:52] unfortunately there is a real

[02:54] well-funded effort to destroy what made

[02:55] western civilization

[02:57] the greatest experiment in human history

[02:59] and it really starts in our universities

[03:01] we look we're very honest about

[03:02] ourselves

[03:02] the universities i know in the states

[03:04] and i don't you know i would have been

[03:06] you know reading in the uk it's no

[03:08] different is where these bad ideas

[03:10] get way too much credibility
