Conservative Students Share Stories of Harassment, Assault, and Discrimination Across America
Conservative students from across the United States share their firsthand accounts of harassment, physical assault, and discrimination they faced for expressing their political views. From bear spray attacks at campus events to vehicular assault attempts, from being forced out of housing for legally owned firearms to targeted harassment by university professors, these young activists describe a pattern of escalating leftist violence. Their stories reveal the dangers conservative students face on campuses and in their communities simply for wearing MAGA hats or starting conservative organizations. Despite threats, intimidation, and ongoing attacks, these students refuse to be silenced and continue standing up for their beliefs and freedom of expression.
Multiple Accounts of Political Violence and Harassment
Conservative students across America have come forward with harrowing stories of physical assault, harassment, and discrimination based solely on their political beliefs. These incidents range from property invasion and housing discrimination to chemical weapon attacks and attempted vehicular homicide, painting a disturbing picture of political intolerance on college campuses and in communities nationwide.
Housing Discrimination Over Legal Firearms
One female student living in Boston with six roommates experienced a severe invasion of privacy when her housemates discovered she owned a MAGA hat. After noticing the hat, the roommates illegally searched her room without permission and discovered she had legally owned firearms. The landlord presented her with an ultimatum: either move out or be responsible for the entire $6,000-plus monthly rent if her roommates decided to leave. The student was effectively forced from her home because of anti-Second Amendment discrimination.
Bear Spray Chemical Attack at Campus Event
On April 1st, a radical leftist released bear spray in a lecture hall in an attempt to prevent a conservative speaker from presenting. The chemical attack affected multiple students who required medical attention and were put at substantial health risk. Bear spray, designed to deter large aggressive animals, poses significant dangers when inhaled into the human respiratory system. The incident demonstrates the extreme measures some activists are willing to employ to shut down opposing viewpoints rather than engaging in civil discourse.
Attempted Vehicular Homicide Over Political Sign
One student experienced a terrifying encounter when a radical leftist stole their "Government Sucks" sign and then proceeded to attempt to run the student down with his vehicle in a parking lot. The attacker tried to hit the student with his car twice, forcing them to hide and fear for their life. The student called 911 while trying to make it back to campus. The assailant then got into a car accident and fled the scene, demonstrating the reckless abandon with which the attack was carried out.
Assault of a Minor at a Restaurant
A 16-year-old student was confronted by a 30-year-old man while eating burgers with friends at their favorite restaurant on the Fourth of July. The adult male deemed it appropriate to approach the teenager simply because they were wearing a Make America Great Again hat. The man threw something on the minor, stole their property, and called them derogatory words. The significant age and size difference made the confrontation particularly threatening for the young victim.
Professor-Led Harassment Campaign
A 19-year-old student attempting to start a Turning Point USA chapter on campus set up a table to hand out informational materials. A group of professors approached with signs, surrounded the student, and began calling them racist and a KKK member. The professors falsely claimed the student wanted to destroy all public schools. The harassment campaign led by faculty members continued until police eventually arrived and had to drive the student home for their safety. The attacks against this student have continued for approximately two years, with ongoing threats on social media.
Ongoing Death Threats and Online Harassment
Students who speak out about their experiences face continued persecution online. One victim of domestic violence saw tweets stating that her roommates "should have just used her guns to shoot her" and expressing disappointment that she survived domestic violence. Others have been called Nazis and subjected to ongoing threatening messages on social media platforms. One student reported crying for over a week following the attacks, and noted that the Seattle Police Department has not been supportive.
Standing Strong Against Intimidation
Despite the physical danger, emotional trauma, and ongoing harassment, these conservative students refuse to be silenced. They express frustration with far-left activists who resort to violence rather than engaging with facts and ideas. One student stated that going up to assault a 16-year-old shows a lack of "brain capacity to accept facts and the truth about what's actually going on in this country" and represents allowing news anchors to dictate how people run their lives.
Conservative Feminism and Self-Defense
Several female students addressed misconceptions about conservative women and feminism. They argue that the greatest form of feminism is the ability to protect yourself and stand up for yourself without counting on anyone else to do it for you. These young women emphasize that they are not victims but victors who will continue fighting for freedom and for conservatives on school campuses across the country.
A Pattern of Political Intolerance
The collective experiences of these students reveal a disturbing pattern of escalating violence and harassment directed at young conservatives. Whether facing chemical weapon attacks at campus events, being forced from their homes, experiencing attempted vehicular assault, or enduring coordinated harassment from university faculty, these students believe no one should feel unsafe on campus for voicing their opinions. Their message is clear: despite intimidation and threats, they cannot and will not be silenced.
