[00:06] expect and I was invited to an event and

[00:10] like most events sometimes they get

[00:13] boring I was falling asleep the students

[00:16] were falling asleep the seventh speaker

[00:18] was going up to the podium and I

[00:20] couldn't believe what I saw in a few

[00:22] seconds I saw that audience going from

[00:24] falling asleep to wide-awake and the man

[00:27] who was speaking was Charlie Kirk I mean

[00:30] I always loved politics you know all

[00:32] throughout high school I always loved

[00:33] history economics government civics you

[00:36] know I'm the type of guy that was always

[00:37] debating teachers and getting involved

[00:39] locally in campaigns but in our

[00:42] generation needed to be woken up so June

[00:44] for the twenty twelve I picked up the

[00:46] phone I said Bill I have the name of the

[00:47] organization

[00:48] Turning Point USA and he said great how

[00:50] can I help and off to the races we went

[00:56] Charlie and I were at the office it was

[00:59] a two-car garage

[01:01] I had converted it into an office and we

[01:03] were using that as the headquarters for

[01:05] turning-point USA we were in there one

[01:08] day and the mailman came I got the

[01:10] letter and I looked at it says hey

[01:12] Charlie this is from Foster Friess and I

[01:15] opened it up here he had donated ten

[01:17] thousand dollars and that's how we

[01:19] started our organization from a little

[01:22] two-car garage like Apple and Hewlett

[01:25] Packard it shows it can be done the

[01:28] entrepreneurial spirit was there and we

[01:30] did it I wouldn't hurt Charlie speak and

[01:34] here's a young man we have to help and a

[01:39] little bit of money and I went from

[01:42] there he started turning point and the

[01:46] rest is history

[01:47] the very interesting part of turning

[01:49] point is that we created excitement

[01:52] being able to get chapters started

[01:55] setting up facilities to accommodate the

[01:58] necessary elements that were needed to

[02:00] make those chapters successful a turning

[02:04] point USA we're doing things that have

[02:05] never been done before this year alone

[02:07] we opened up our 14,000 square foot

[02:09] operational facility in Phoenix Arizona

[02:12] we have held the largest events that

[02:15] have ever been held in the conservative

[02:16] movement we have the largest and most

[02:19] highly functioning field program we have

[02:22] our campus victory project that's taking

[02:25] conservative leadership its student body

[02:27] leadership up tenfold just in the three

[02:29] short years that we've been operating

[02:31] you know having this space enables us to

[02:34] take over the Internet

[02:36] and one of the things that we talk about

[02:38] all the time is winning the culture war

[02:40] and the thing that Turning Point USA is

[02:43] doing is winning the culture war

[02:47] a young well-liked charlie is opening

[02:52] doors for thousands of young people

[02:54] every day across this country that gives

[02:58] these kids hope they realize they can go

[03:00] out and do something with their lives

[03:01] and of course god Bless America the only

[03:07] country in the world apart we can do

[03:09] this

[03:15] we are also lucky to live here and be

[03:18] here and we've got several wonderful

[03:21] people out doing just phenomenal things

[03:26] that's what it's all about

[03:28] because he is making a difference and

[03:30] he's educating people as to what the

[03:33] real truth is and he's my inspiration to

[03:37] continue to help him in the organization

[03:40] I I can tell you there's no other

[03:42] organization that brings all those

[03:44] people together like Turning Point USA

[03:46] does we're changing lives the change in

[03:48] history and I'm proud to be in this

[03:50] fight proud to be you know just a small

[03:52] piece of what the future of America is

[03:55] gonna look like

[03:56] I mean Turning Point USA's America's

[03:57] last best hope

[04:00] and turning point USA fights for the

[04:02] timeless ideas that we live in the

[04:04] greatest country ever to exist and we

[04:06] don't fight for this republic the left

[04:09] will take it from us if you think

[04:11] they're gonna give us our country back

[04:12] just because we have better ideas we're

[04:14] totally incorrect everything has to be

[04:17] fought for and turningpoint USA

[04:19] represents to me a solution through a

[04:21] lot of the cultural challenges that were

[04:23] experiencing
