[00:00] in a way towards them, towards the left.
[00:02] And what they've actually done is
[00:04] invigorated the the the movement that
[00:06] Charlie started. It will continue in
[00:09] multiples in droves. And we played a
[00:11] sound bite yesterday of Charlie saying,
[00:13] "Take take one of us down, 10 will come
[00:15] at you even stronger." And that was pre
[00:17] that was from June of 2024.
[00:20] >> June of 2024. Almost like he saw this
[00:23] coming. All right, Steve. Um, thank you.
[00:25] I thank you.
[00:26] >> Uh, we'll take it from here, my friend.
[00:28] >> All right, folks. Uh, Friday 4 pm
[00:30] markets are closed. Just take a quick
[00:31] look. This is not something we want to
[00:34] do, but something we should do. Uh, we
[00:37] will get to Charlie Kirk in just a
[00:38] moment. I promise you. Dow down 273.
[00:40] NASDAQ the other way up a little bit, up
[00:42] about 100 points or so. Gold up a good
[00:46] amount, $3,684 now. Gold sitting, oil up
[00:49] a bit. And very good news in the crypto
[00:52] markets. If there's anything we can say
[00:54] good news is about Bitcoin 116,000
[00:58] almost 117,000 now Ethereum 4600 pushing
[01:02] back towards that 5,000 high uh XRP and
[01:05] others CRO you guys asked about CRO said
[01:08] we're going to talk about it flat to
[01:10] down a little bit. All right. Um let's
[01:12] take a listen. Do we have a sound bite
[01:13] right Mad Dog or Ben? Do we have a sound
[01:15] bite of President Trump? Yeah. Let's
[01:16] roll a sound bite of Trump from this
[01:18] morning on Fox and Friends. I think uh
[01:21] with a high degree of certainty we have
[01:23] him
[01:24] >> in custody right in custody. Uh everyone
[01:28] did a great job. We worked with the
[01:30] local police, the governor, everybody
[01:32] did a great job. father went to a US
[01:36] marshal who was fantastic by the way and
[01:39] the person was involved with law
[01:40] enforcement but was a person of faith a
[01:43] minister and brought him to a US marshal
[01:48] who was fantastic and the father
[01:51] convinced the son and this is it and
[01:54] again I'm always subject to be corrected
[01:56] but you know I'm just giving you based
[01:58] on what I'm hearing
[01:59] >> yeah like I said that was President
[02:00] Trump this morning at Fox and friends
[02:01] saying that they believe they have
[02:02] Charlie Kirk's murder murder. Joining me
[02:04] to discuss the latest on Charlie Kirk's
[02:06] assassination is the acting chief
[02:08] executive officer at the United States
[02:09] Agency for Global Media, Carrie Lake,
[02:12] who has posted on X that not even his
[02:14] death can stop the seeds that Charlie
[02:16] planted from growing. Carrie Lake, thank
[02:18] you for joining us. My dear Carrie, uh
[02:20] the circumstances are are rough. A lot
[02:23] of uh broken hearts certainly around
[02:25] here. Arizona, Charlie lived in Arizona.
[02:29] You're in Arizona. give us just give
[02:31] your your reaction and we'll we'll dig a
[02:33] little bit deeper into you know what we
[02:35] 48 hours or so after the assassination
[02:38] but but just give us your first
[02:39] reaction. Well, you know, we're so proud
[02:42] to say that Charlie is in Arizona and
[02:44] even though he was born in Chicago,
[02:46] Arizona has a lot of transplants. And I
[02:49] I believe that Charlie Kirk is Arizona's
[02:51] favorite son. And we're proud of him and
[02:53] we're proud of what he accomplished,
[02:54] what he built in Arizona. And it was may
[02:58] have been, you know, started in a small
[02:59] garage in Chicago. He moved it to
[03:01] Arizona. But this is worldwide. This is
[03:04] worldwide. Charlie Kirk not only is a
[03:07] political icon for what he accomplished
[03:10] in especially waking up a young
[03:12] generation and frankly their parents and
[03:14] grandparents but more importantly what
[03:17] he did as you know an an evangelical. He
[03:21] never planned to become an evangelical,
[03:22] but his faith was so strong. He and
[03:25] Erica's faith was so strong that he
[03:26] started to work to spread the good news
[03:29] of the gospel. And as he did that, more
[03:32] and more people were showing up. And he
[03:34] brought so many people either back to
[03:36] their faith or for the first time had
[03:38] them opening a Bible and professing
[03:40] their uh their love for Jesus. And I
[03:43] just was talking to a friend of mine who
[03:44] was involved in the transition team for
[03:46] this administration. And Charlie was
[03:48] very active in the transition team as
[03:50] well. And as they were working really
[03:52] hard trying to build President Trump's
[03:54] administration, Charlie was in the room
[03:56] with him and he said, I wrote it down.
[03:58] He said to my friend, "Hey, Colton, do
[04:02] you know that Jesus is your Lord and
[04:04] Savior?"
[04:05] And Colton said, "Well, yeah, of course
[04:08] I do, Charlie." But he was always always
[04:11] looking to make sure that souls were
[04:13] being saved because what really matters
[04:15] is that moment as he said when you have
[04:18] that final judgment and I I believe that
[04:20] that moment when when Charlie met met
[04:24] God met Jesus um that it went well for
[04:26] him.
[04:27] >> And so Charlie's legacy is massive. It's
[04:30] massive when it comes to this political
[04:31] movement turning point. It's only going
[04:33] to grow bigger and stronger. what he's
[04:35] left when it comes to bringing people
[04:38] back to faith is is so something we
[04:40] could never measure. And then his two
[04:43] children are his legacy. His little
[04:45] daughter Gigi and his son who's just
[04:47] turned one. Beautiful pictures of of
[04:49] Charlie with his kids and his wife, his
[04:52] amazing wife who we all love, Erica. It
[04:55] that is the the legacy that he will
[04:57] leave. And I know that even though
[04:59] they're so young and they may not have a
[05:00] lot of memories of their dad, there will
[05:02] be so many people around them constantly
[05:05] reminding them how incredible and
[05:07] important their father was and how much
[05:09] he loved them.
[05:09] >> All right, let let's turn to u we have a
[05:11] sound bite from with Cash Patel and the
[05:14] governor of Utah. I believe it's the
[05:16] governor. Can you roll that soundbite,
[05:17] please?
[05:18] >> At approximately 8:00 p.m. where at my
[05:21] direction, the FBI released a
[05:22] never-before-seen video of the suspect.
[05:25] We also released new images to the
[05:28] public of the suspect.
[05:31] And just last night,
[05:33] the suspect was taken into custody at 10
[05:35] p.m. local time.
[05:38] In less than 36 hours, 33 to be precise,
[05:42] thanks to the full weight of the federal
[05:44] government and leading out with the
[05:46] partners here in the state of Utah and
[05:48] Governor Cox, the suspect was h
[05:50] apprehended in historic time period. And
[05:52] so the way it went is Trump this morning
[05:54] on uh on Fox and Friends announced that
[05:56] they had a suspect in in custody. No one
[05:59] had heard that before. There was
[06:00] supposed to be a press conference at
[06:02] 9:00. That was delayed cuz Trump stayed
[06:04] on with Fox and Friends past that. They
[06:06] waited and then they announced the
[06:07] suspect is I'm not even going to say his
[06:09] name is 22-y old male. There he is right
[06:11] there. Um that's the guy. And now is the
[06:15] task of finding the motive. Carrie and
[06:18] this is the real and for me I was here.
[06:20] We did this live. We delivered the the
[06:22] the horrible news live right here on
[06:23] this show um about 4:18 4:15 or so on
[06:27] Wednesday. Um
[06:30] for that man to get away that fast, it
[06:32] it just felt like there were more than
[06:34] just one deranged lunatic with a rifle.
[06:37] It felt like there was there was more
[06:39] people involved. What are your sense?
[06:40] What are your thoughts? What are you
[06:41] hearing?
[06:45] If there were more than one one person
[06:47] involved in this, whoever took out the
[06:50] life and and took Charlie from us, um
[06:53] seemed to be a trained sniper, somebody
[06:55] who who was very good with a weapon, who
[06:57] knows how to operate one. And so I don't
[07:00] know uh any particulars other than what
[07:02] we um are hearing from Cash and the
[07:06] investigation. And I wouldn't even want
[07:07] to speculate right now, but I I do know
[07:10] that um the constant name calling that
[07:14] has been happening, you know, calling
[07:16] Charlie and his followers and frankly
[07:18] MAGA folks who love our country Nazis
[07:21] and Hitler and racist and xenophobic and
[07:25] you name it. um that that affects people
[07:28] especially young minds. It starts to
[07:30] seep into young minds and they start to
[07:31] build hatred and Charlie was didn't have
[07:34] a hateful bone in his body. He wanted to
[07:37] debate. I mean, I can't think of
[07:39] anything less violent than talking and
[07:41] debating and um you know, so I think the
[07:45] tone coming from the other side has been
[07:48] so vicious that it's affected so many
[07:50] young minds and I don't know what was
[07:52] going on in this young person's mind,
[07:54] but it must have been filled with
[07:56] absolute uh darkness and hatred. And
[07:58] that that's heartbreaking for me because
[08:01] I don't want to see any young person
[08:03] filled with that kind of hatred. So, and
[08:05] I posed this question Wednesday when
[08:07] this happened. By the way, I'm on the
[08:09] board uh of TPUSA and I I'm just living.
[08:12] I I'm just I'm I'm sorry. I'm pissed.
[08:14] I'm not I'm not grieving right now. I'm
[08:16] just I stages of grief. I just fast
[08:18] forward right to to anger and that's
[08:20] where I'm sitting. And then I think I
[08:22] think whoever did this, if the motive
[08:24] was to change history by taking out a
[08:25] very uh um a man who's
[08:35] mistaken because this will only
[08:36] encourage 100 Charlie Kirks going
[08:39] forward. Anyway, let me I digress.
[08:41] >> Well, I I agree with you. I I I I
[08:43] believe Charlie was destined to be a
[08:45] president and maybe sooner rather than
[08:47] later. I think he was going to be the
[08:50] youngest president of the United States.
[08:52] He had not only the incredible common
[08:56] sense ideology, a love for country, he
[08:59] had the mechanism to make that happen.
[09:01] He he put on so many of the Trump
[09:04] rallies through turning point action. He
[09:06] has the ground game, the army of
[09:09] patriotic young people and their parents
[09:11] and grandparents who are political
[09:14] activists thanks to him. They know how
[09:16] to knock doors. they know how to get
[09:17] politically involved. He has the social
[09:20] media to do it and he has a media
[09:22] platform that is hugely successful.
[09:25] That's a threat to a lot of people.
[09:27] That's a very big threat. And let me
[09:29] tell you, the the nasty evil people uh
[09:32] that in in some ways run our world. If
[09:36] they could have stopped President Trump
[09:37] when he before he ran for president and
[09:40] they could go back in time and do that,
[09:41] you better believe they would have
[09:43] stopped him. And I think they're looking
[09:44] at people who have the potential to be a
[09:46] second Trump type and a younger
[09:49] generation and they don't want people
[09:50] like Charlie. They don't want people
[09:52] like Charlie to be around.
[09:54] >> Carrie, I'm going to ask you this and I
[09:55] pretty much ask every guest since this
[09:57] happened. How how can we coexist
[10:02] when one side would rather murder and
[10:05] eliminate the other side than to have a
[10:08] respectful
[10:09] elevated debate about the things that
[10:11] the way the country should go? How are
[10:13] we supposed to coexist with that side?
[10:16] >> Well, what we do is we don't let them
[10:18] shut us up. We don't let them silence
[10:20] us. These people who are cheering at
[10:23] Charlie's assassination
[10:25] are depraved and despicable. Their soul
[10:28] is is gone. And so, we don't let people
[10:31] like that silence us, keep us from
[10:33] loving our country and doing what's
[10:35] right. We can never allow that to
[10:37] happen. And so I think uh you know
[10:39] trying to kumbaya with somebody who has
[10:43] such a dark soul like that is wrong. We
[10:45] have done nothing wrong. This movement
[10:47] is built on love for country. It's built
[10:50] on love for one another and it's built
[10:52] on patriotism. And there is not a darn
[10:55] thing wrong with that. The people who've
[10:57] been messaging and falsely messaging us
[11:00] and saying that we're hateful and we're
[11:02] we're bad people. That is where the
[11:05] problem lies and that's got to stop and
[11:07] that's the legacy media who has been
[11:10] trying to make President Trump, people
[11:12] like Charlie Kirk, even myself
[11:14] non-persons just try to create such a a
[11:19] false uh character assass a character
[11:22] assassination by putting out false uh
[11:24] you know personality traits that don't
[11:26] exist to make people hate the MAGA
[11:29] movement is uh it's disgusting and it's
[11:31] got to stop.
[11:32] >> All right, let's uh let's do this.
[11:33] Carrie, can you stay with us uh for the
[11:35] break and and come back and we'll talk a
[11:36] little bit more about the aftermath of
[11:38] of of what's going on. All right, folks.
[11:40] Carrie Lake will come back with us after
[11:42] the break. We'll be back two and a half
[11:43] minutes.
[11:46] >> Everybody needs to pray for Charlie Kirk
[11:48] right now.
[11:49] >> He is a voice of reason out there that
[11:52] has been gunned down for daring to be an
[11:54] American, to tell the truth, to believe
[11:57] in free speech, and to believe in this
[11:59] country.
[12:00] >> Charlie loves his family dearly. He
[12:03] loves his country dearly.
[12:06] >> Please pray for the Kirk family. This is
[12:08] a really devastating thing that
[12:10] happened.
[12:12] >> We must all pray for Charlie Kirk who
[12:15] has been shot. A great guy from top to
[12:17] bottom. God bless him.
[12:20] >> He believed strongly that uh we could
[12:22] solve a lot of our differences with just
[12:24] a good old-fashioned conversation.
[12:26] >> He was shot for speaking the truth. He
[12:28] was shot for speaking his mind. He was
[12:31] shot for defending the Constitution.
[12:33] >> John Solomon's reporting uh on just the
[12:35] news that he's he's passed. Yes. Is this
[12:38] what I'm hearing? Yes. Can I get here?
[12:39] >> I mean yes. Yes.
[12:41] >> My prayers are for Erica, for her
[12:43] children, for his family.
[12:48] >> I pray that his his parents
[12:52] uh would feel that presence of the Lord
[12:55] that only only the Lord can feel.
[13:00] We cannot let all the great things that
[13:03] Charlie Kirk did be wasted
[13:06] because of some act of violence. He
[13:09] didn't hate people. He didn't even hate
[13:11] liberals. He just hated intolerance. And
[13:14] um it is a painful ir irony that he may
[13:17] have died at the hands of some
[13:18] intolerant person.
[13:19] >> He was fighting not just for his own
[13:22] young children, but for all of our
[13:24] children. When America needed a hero,
[13:26] God sent us a Charlie Kirk. Charlie Kirk
[13:29] is a casualty of the political war going
[13:31] on in this country. He was gunned down
[13:32] in cold blood. Gun down in cold blood.
[13:35] And you have to have steely resolve
[13:37] about this.
