Lauren Boebert delivered a powerful tribute in the people's house honoring Charlie Kirk following his unexpected passing. Boebert remembers Charlie not merely as a political figure, but as a pioneer of faith who prioritized family, marriage, and God above politics. Charlie Kirk's legacy extends beyond Turning Point USA, he was a husband, father, and bold defender of truth who consistently proclaimed the lordship of Jesus Christ and inspired millions of young people to deepen their relationship with God.

A Day of Mourning and Remembrance

Lauren Boebert begins by thanking those who reserved time in the people's house to honor Charlie Kirk on what is described as an unexpectedly hard day. The moment news broke of what had happened, faith leaders throughout the nation were contacted, and prayer groups immediately formed. Mighty men and women of God, faith-filled Christians and believers stood in the gap and interceded for Charlie. Boebert expresses gratitude for that faith and affirms that those prayers were not in vain, declaring that God's word will produce what it says it will. The belief is firm: Charlie's life being stolen in this manner is not in vain.

Charlie Kirk: A Pioneer in the Truest Sense

Charlie is described as a pioneer—a concept rooted in the Greek word "archagos" (Strong's Concordance number 747), which Boebert has been reminded of daily for more than a decade. Even with years of contemplation, Boebert continues to ask God for deeper revelation of this word. On this particular day, God highlighted exactly what it means by personifying the word through Charlie Kirk. In English, it translates to "pioneer"—one who pioneers a way and makes a way for others to follow. Perhaps not the originator of the thing, but someone who fearlessly takes charge, who courageously goes into the unknown, who faces adversaries unafraid and unashamed, boldly influencing others to continue down that path. That is exactly what Charlie Kirk has done.

More Than Politics: A Champion of Family and Faith

Charlie Kirk is remembered as a husband and father—a man who spoke more of family than he ever did politics. For those who didn't know him personally, he may be seen merely as a political figure. But to those who knew Charlie, who listened to his message regularly and attended his events, it was clear that rather than talking about tax rates and GDP, he talked about the nuclear family, faith in God, the value of marriage, how children need a father in the home and both parents, and how to uplift one another rather than tear each other down.

Charlie would sometimes go into enemy territory and give those who saw themselves as his opponents a platform to speak. He would engage in debate, never promoting violence but condemning it at every turn. He gave data, thoughtful responses, and shared his faith each and every day—a pioneer who shared his love for Jesus, proclaiming the lordship and reign of Jesus daily.

A Mission to Spread the Love of God

Boebert reflects on the biblical principle that faith comes by hearing, and by hearing the word of God. More literally, that second mention of "hearing" in Scripture means understanding. Faith comes by hearing and understanding the word of God. Charlie Kirk was on a mission for America and the world to hear and understand the love of God—to have a revelation of God's love so that people would know the hope of their calling, so that their inner being would be enlightened and they would understand that there was a hope and a future, a desired outcome that God had purposed them with.

Charlie Kirk understood that you have to be a doer of the word, that faith without corresponding action isn't faith at all. Charlie took action each and every day. While many heard that he was moving youth to the right, Boebert believes more importantly, Charlie Kirk was moving youth to God—to faith in God, to reading the Scriptures. He lived exactly what he spoke each and every day, being the example and being the change that he wanted to see in America and beyond.

A Legacy Through Family and Work

Charlie Kirk has a legacy not only through the work that he has done but through his wife Erika and their children. Boebert humbly asks each and every person to pray for Erika and the children, emphasizing that those prayers mean so much right now. Charlie Kirk is present with the Lord, in the fullness of joy, present with Jesus. He is not hurting. He is not suffering. It is those left behind—Boebert, Erika, and the children—who are feeling loss and hurt and pain.

Boebert asks the Holy Spirit to surround the family with His wraparound presence and bring them peace—peace that surpasses all understanding in this time, to guard their hearts and heal their brokenhearted spirits. There is a time of mourning, but joy will come. That joy is not just a suggestion; it is the battle plan that will get them through each and every day of their life.

Charlie's Words and the Call to Continue

Boebert quotes something Charlie said, acknowledging that he gave so many an opportunity to speak truth and provided his platform to reach into the hearts and lives of millions of youth and beyond. Charlie's quote: "You have been commanded to go do something productive with your life, to go give and to produce and to risk and to then sow into other people. That is a biblical idea that has made the world profoundly better."

Charlie Kirk was a doer of the word, a risk-taker, a bold defender of truth, and he sowed into the lives of millions. That harvest will produce thirty, sixty, and a hundredfold. Boebert declares that Charlie has a legacy and offers thanks for honoring God the Father, proclaiming the lordship of Jesus Christ, and expressing the fellowship and communion of the Holy Spirit.

A Call to Action and a Turning Point

Boebert makes clear that silence would be a dishonor to everything Charlie has done over the years. The commitment is to be bold, to speak out, to go forward, and to continue to move youth closer to God. The resolve is to continue to press in and get a grip on God as He has a grip on us. September 10th, 2025, Boebert declares, truly marks a turning point in the nation and throughout the world.

The tribute concludes with blessings: God bless you, Charlie Kirk. God bless Turning Point USA, Andrew, Tyler, Erika, everyone who is part of the team. God bless you all. Boebert considers it an honor to have served alongside Charlie and yields back to the speaker of the house.
