[00:00] We are here at the Bitcoin.com studio,
[00:02] your gateway to democratized financed
[00:05] bitcoin.com. I'm wearing the shirt. This
[00:07] is what we voted for, which you guys can
[00:09] find at charliekirk.com because this is
[00:12] what we voted for. And that is actually
[00:13] the theme and the open today, which is
[00:17] the stunning and perplexing politics of
[00:21] immigration. You see, for almost all of
[00:24] my political career, and for as long as
[00:26] I have memory, Democrats have had an
[00:29] advantage on immigration. There's issues
[00:31] that they've always had advantages with
[00:33] us over. Climate, education, and
[00:36] immigration, they almost always have
[00:38] some form of advantage. Interestingly
[00:40] enough, education less and less. So,
[00:43] remember that election where Governor
[00:45] Yncan won in the great state of
[00:47] Virginia? uh he became the governor of
[00:50] Virginia with actual favorability
[00:53] advantage on the issue of education. But
[00:57] on immigration, Democrats have always
[01:00] had us over a barrel by 20 points or 30
[01:03] points. Because what did Republicans
[01:06] stand for when it came to immigration?
[01:08] And this is the kicker everybody. If
[01:10] there is just one thing that you
[01:12] remember that I tell you, it is how
[01:15] wrong, how fraudulent, how deceitful the
[01:18] Jeb Bush Carl Rove perspective on
[01:21] immigration was. Can you guys get some
[01:24] of that tape here, Blake or Ryan, now
[01:26] that I'm thinking of it? Back in 2014,
[01:29] 2015, we had the Gang of Eight. And yes,
[01:32] Marco Rubio was part of it, and he has
[01:33] come a long way. And I'm Marco Rubio's
[01:35] biggest fan and supporter. But yes, we
[01:37] had the Gang of Eight. And I remember
[01:39] it. This was the first couple of years I
[01:41] was involved in politics and it was it
[01:44] was unchallengeable
[01:46] dogma in the Republican party that we
[01:50] are going to lose Hispanics forever if
[01:54] we do not pass mass amnesty. Now see
[01:58] this was largely passed and was pushed I
[02:01] should say by the Koch brothers by
[02:03] corporate interest by the chamber of
[02:05] commerce. This was largely being
[02:08] advanced by sinister multinational
[02:11] corporations that didn't actually care
[02:13] about the politics. They wanted cheap
[02:15] labor. And the Democrats were like,
[02:17] "Sure, you want cheap labor. We want
[02:19] cheap votes." Marriage made in heaven.
[02:23] And instead, what was created is a
[02:26] weapon of mass migration. Not a weapon
[02:30] of mass destruction, a weapon of mass
[02:33] migration. and Jeb Bush and all of the
[02:37] Republican orthodoxy
[02:41] was and every single donor believed
[02:43] this. We need to win back Hispanics and
[02:45] by doing so we have to calm down our
[02:47] rhetoric on immigration. This is without
[02:49] a doubt one of the greatest
[02:53] missteps, one of the greatest errors in
[02:56] modern, if not all of the conservative
[02:59] movement. Almost everybody fell for
[03:01] this. And honestly, I was 20 years old
[03:04] at the time. I was 21 years old at the
[03:05] time. I kind of fell for it, too. I was
[03:07] like, "Well, do we need to water down
[03:08] our language? And do we need to be more
[03:10] compassionate because a lot of Latinos
[03:13] and Hispanics, they seem to be for open
[03:15] borders and they have friends that have
[03:17] come here illegally." And we were, it
[03:19] was a ruse, everybody. It was a major
[03:23] scam. Paul Ryan and John McCain, all of
[03:28] the moderate apparatics were together
[03:32] saying, "We must do this or else we're
[03:33] going to lose Hispanics 9010. It'll be
[03:36] like black America." And they were
[03:38] fear-mongering and they were
[03:39] blackmailing us, saying, "You must do
[03:42] mass amnesty
[03:44] right now or else you will be a minority
[03:46] party forever and you'll never win back
[03:49] Hispanics." And 10 years ago to this
[03:52] month, the most consistent political
[03:54] candidate that we've ever seen, Donald
[03:56] Trump changed everything. He said,
[03:58] "Nope, they're illegals. Many of them
[04:00] are rapists. They're thugs. They're
[04:03] terrible. We're going to build the wall.
[04:04] Mexico will pay for it. We're going to
[04:06] do mass deportations." And he has
[04:07] unwavered in that commitment. And then
[04:10] we were told by the moderates in the
[04:12] Republican party, "Oh, you guys are
[04:15] going to lose us majorities. You're
[04:17] going to lose elections if you talk like
[04:19] this." and Hispanics will turn against
[04:21] you. Turns out the exact opposite was
[04:24] actually the case. It turns out that the
[04:27] more aggressive and hawkish that we got
[04:31] on immigration, the more Hispanics were
[04:33] coming our way, the more aggressive and
[04:36] hawkish that we got on immigration, we
[04:38] finally for the first time ever are
[04:41] beating Democrats on the issue of
[04:43] immigration. It turns out at the core,
[04:46] Americans are actually very, very
[04:49] supportive of mass deportations. And
[04:51] what I love is that the Democrats,
[04:54] they're continually pulling this or
[04:57] there's no way America No, that's true.
[04:59] America actually wants doorby door,
[05:02] blockby block mass deportations. And the
[05:05] Democrats, they don't quite understand
[05:06] this. Here is Amy Walter from the Cook
[05:08] Political Report who
[05:11] accurately says this is the first time
[05:14] ever we've seen this. Democrats used to
[05:17] have an advantage over Trump and
[05:18] immigration. They have a disadvantage
[05:20] now. Play cut 422 forward. I think is
[05:23] how Democrats do talk about these issues
[05:26] is going to be really important for um
[05:29] the you know not just what's happening
[05:32] today in Los Angeles but just large. I
[05:35] think there has been a lot of pullback
[05:37] and a lot of um hand ringing from
[05:40] Democrats about an issue which they used
[05:42] to have an advantage on during the
[05:45] Trump's first term they have a
[05:46] disadvantage on now this issue isn't
[05:48] going away and how Democrats respond to
[05:53] whether this is going to happen in other
[05:54] states how they address concerns about
[05:57] safety and security that is going to be
[06:00] um critical just for the next for well
[06:03] forever
[06:07] It's been flipped. Remember the RNT the
[06:10] RNC autopsy report of 2013? It's funny.
[06:12] I actually went to one of those
[06:13] meetings. I was brought to one of those
[06:15] RNC donor meetings by Mike Miller, one
[06:18] of my dear friends, runs MJ Miller
[06:21] Jewelers in the suburbs of Chicago in
[06:23] Bington, Illinois, which I encourage you
[06:26] guys to go to if you need have any
[06:27] jewelry needs. He actually did our
[06:28] wedding ring and many other things. But
[06:29] he brought me to the RNC autopsy report
[06:31] in Chicago because Ryan Prieous who I
[06:33] really like he was doing a road show
[06:36] just here's the report here's the data
[06:37] and he was going to meet with donors
[06:39] because people were very very upset with
[06:42] what happened in 2012 and this is what
[06:44] was in the official RNC autopsy report
[06:48] autopsy report in 2013. quote, "Among
[06:51] the steps Republicans must take in the
[06:53] Hispanic community and beyond, we must
[06:55] embrace and champion comprehensive
[06:58] immigration reform. If we do not, our
[07:00] party's appeal will continue to shrink
[07:02] to its core constituencies only." Blake,
[07:05] can we tweet this out? This is so
[07:07] important. Let me say this again. Quote,
[07:10] "Among the steps Republicans must take
[07:13] in the Hispanic community," this was the
[07:15] official RNC autopsy report in 2013.
[07:19] We must embrace and champion
[07:21] comprehensive immigration reform. If we
[07:24] do not, our party's appeal will continue
[07:27] to shrink to its core constituencies
[07:29] only. This was all before Donald Trump.
[07:31] Here was Jeb Bush at CPAC back in 2015,
[07:37] 2016, probably 2015. Play cut 448.
[07:42] what we need, which are economic driven
[07:44] immigrants. Those that want to come here
[07:46] to work, to invest in their dreams in
[07:50] this country to create opportunities for
[07:51] all of us. And that's what we need to
[07:54] get to. Chamber of Commerce, Balderdash,
[08:00] Jeb Bush being applauded by the 19
[08:02] different K Street lobbyists that he
[08:03] bust on over to the Gaylord Hotel.
[08:08] And you have the Jeb Bush, you have the
[08:09] RNC autopsy report, and Donald Trump
[08:11] changed it all. And now we have an
[08:13] advantage on the immigration issue.
[08:15] America supports it. 51% of people want
[08:18] mass deportations. 54% people want raids
[08:20] on violent criminals.
[08:23] A 20point lead on the mobilization of
[08:25] the National Guard.
[08:29] And Donald Trump changed it all. Donald
[08:31] Trump knew it. He intuited it. knowing
[08:35] no knowing at its core that there was
[08:40] going to be a huge political realignment
[08:42] in a way where the Democrats still are
[08:44] reacting and you know who supports it
[08:45] the most immigrants. That's right. Do
[08:48] you know that legal first generation
[08:49] immigrants, foreign born immigrants are
[08:52] actually more hawkish on immigration
[08:54] than Americans. My friend Colin Plume
[08:56] from Noble Gold Investments just
[08:57] released his new book, Silver is the New
[09:00] Oil. And it says, "If you don't own Own
[09:02] Silver yet, you're already behind."
[09:04] Colin says that as demand for
[09:06] technology, energy, and industry
[09:07] soarses, silver's value is set to surge.
[09:10] The question is, are you ready to
[09:12] profit? This book reveals why silver is
[09:14] the most underrated asset today, and how
[09:17] to invest before the world catches on.
[09:19] I've read Silver is the New Oil, and you
[09:22] should, too. Get it now available on
[09:24] Amazon. You see the Democrats, they're
[09:26] making a major strategic error, but
[09:28] they're not going to, regardless of what
[09:29] I say on the show, they're not going to
[09:30] stop because they are in they are
[09:32] enthused with pathological energy when
[09:35] it comes to open borders. Open borders
[09:38] is the life force of the globalist
[09:41] elite. It is a baseline fundamental
[09:44] belief of the Democrat party. Thou shalt
[09:47] have open borders. Period. End of story.
[09:50] We are the only political movement to
[09:51] say no mas, no more aasta la vista.
[09:54] Adios. The Democrat party built their
[09:57] entire coalition on the great
[09:58] replacement reality. We are going to
[10:01] have millions of people come into the
[10:02] country and try to replace the
[10:04] nativeborn population to change the
[10:07] politic. If you can't win elections
[10:09] because the people don't support you,
[10:11] well then change the people. Replace
[10:13] them. And so just flood it with 10, 15,
[10:16] 20, 30 million. Do you know we actually
[10:18] don't know how many illegals are in this
[10:20] country? Do you know it's kind of a
[10:23] guesstimate? It could be 20 million,
[10:25] could be 30 million, it could be 40
[10:26] million. We have no idea.
[10:30] And by the way, we have this new shirt.
[10:31] This is what we voted for at
[10:33] charliekirkstore.com if you want to
[10:35] check it out. That's why I'm wearing it
[10:36] today because it's kind of the theme of
[10:37] the program and also on bitcoin.com.
[10:41] Buy, sell, trade Bitcoin. All Bitcoin
[10:43] type decisions should be made at
[10:44] bitcoin.com. and that is bitcoin.com.
[10:48] One of my favorite guests is here. He's
[10:49] such a smart thinker and a great
[10:53] analytical mind. Alex Marlo, I saw one
[10:56] of his tweets the other day and I said
[10:57] to Andrew said, "Get him on the show
[10:59] immediately." And I just loved it. Let
[11:01] me read it to you. It's Alex Marlo. Uh
[11:02] breitbart.com. Phenomenal Alex Marlo
[11:04] show. Alex, great to see you. Let me
[11:05] read your tweet, Alex, and I'll let you
[11:06] riff on it. Uh quote, "The invasion of
[11:08] Los Angeles happened decades ago. I
[11:11] know. I've lived here most of my life.
[11:12] The Democrats who run this place and the
[11:14] establishment media put illegal alien
[11:16] criminals over law-abiding citizens
[11:17] every single time. It destroyed our
[11:19] schools, overwhelmed our healthcare
[11:21] system, and bulcanized us to the point
[11:22] where we have no real culture. We should
[11:25] have stopped it a long time ago. Donald
[11:26] Trump is stopping it now. Get out of his
[11:28] way. Free LA from this madness. Alex, I
[11:31] love it. As an Angelino yourself, please
[11:34] speak about this. Yeah, thank you,
[11:36] Charlie. This is one of these things
[11:37] where I'm watching all these libs on
[11:40] social media yell at us and these
[11:42] celebrities yell at us like we're
[11:44] monsters if we're intolerant of Trump
[11:47] enforcing the law. This city was ruined
[11:50] decades ago. It was my really education
[11:53] in politics was understanding that my
[11:56] city was getting overrun and it was
[11:58] causing a lot of downstream effects. It
[12:00] wasn't just that people are unpleasant
[12:02] or they're all bad people. No, it's not
[12:05] about that. It's the effects of illegal
[12:06] immigration. And it what dawned on me is
[12:08] when I was an intern for Larry Elder
[12:10] about 20 years ago and he was going
[12:11] through how expensive it costs to
[12:13] educate people and how actually public
[12:15] schools in LA are more expensive than
[12:17] private schools per pupil. It's just the
[12:19] cost is deferred to taxpayers. Why is
[12:22] that? Because there's so much
[12:23] administration that's necessary. There's
[12:24] so many people who don't speak the
[12:25] language. There's so many uh things that
[12:28] need to be put into place, not just the
[12:29] bureaucracies and the unions and all
[12:30] that stuff, but to educate people where
[12:32] English is a second language and to put
[12:34] that entirely on the state and they're
[12:35] coming from homes where the parents
[12:37] don't speak the language. And we don't
[12:38] just tolerate it, Charlie. We embrace
[12:40] it. We love it. That's just the school
[12:42] system. So that's why a public school
[12:44] student costs more than a typical
[12:45] Catholic school student in the LA area.
[12:47] And the schools are not usable. Our test
[12:49] scores keep going down. Uh they're more
[12:51] dangerous places to be. It they're
[12:53] completely unpleasant parts of life
[12:55] here. That's just one example, but
[12:57] health care is another massive one. My
[12:59] wife worked at a community hospital
[13:01] serving a largely Hispanic population,
[13:03] and they don't ask you for your papers
[13:06] when you go in to get a service. And if
[13:08] you need something like, let's say, a
[13:09] bone marrow transplant, it costs
[13:12] $700,000.
[13:13] And if you're an illegal alien and you
[13:15] showed up at her county hospital in LA
[13:17] that she worked at, they don't turn you
[13:19] away. Who is paying for that, Charlie?
[13:21] I'm paying for it. The taxpayers are
[13:23] paying for it. And so, how could you run
[13:25] a city like this? You could never do it.
[13:27] And yet, we just accepted it that this
[13:29] is what we're going to have in this
[13:30] city. Illegal aliens are going to make
[13:31] everything expensive. There's going to
[13:33] be more crime. And my point about the
[13:34] culture is very big. LA used to be the
[13:36] cultural hub of the world. We're totally
[13:38] balkconized now. There's areas where
[13:40] certain groups of people go and areas
[13:41] where other groups of people go and they
[13:43] don't always cross over. That is
[13:45] bizarre. That's not America. That's not
[13:47] a melting pot. That's that's like the
[13:49] prison tray where you get the that you
[13:52] get your meals on where everything's
[13:53] sectioned off. You don't run a city that
[13:55] way. And that's been our life here for
[13:57] decades. And Donald Trump, Steven
[13:59] Miller, and Tom Hman and Christine Nome
[14:00] are saying, "Why? Why, Charlie? Why are
[14:03] we doing this? We're not doing it
[14:04] anymore." Honestly, you know, I've heard
[14:07] people complain about traffic on the
[14:08] 405. Mass deportations will help solve
[14:10] that. And I mean, it's like No, I'm
[14:12] being honest. I mean, you can't you
[14:14] can't bring in millions of people and
[14:15] it, you know, act as if they have the
[14:17] public infrastructure for it. And look,
[14:19] as a as a nation, we have a big heart. I
[14:21] think that if someone's in this country
[14:22] and they need immediate health care,
[14:25] yeah, you save their life, but you
[14:27] cannot simultaneously have domestic
[14:30] generosity with unruly invasion. They
[14:33] they are a contradiction. So then all of
[14:35] a sudden your generosity is taken
[14:37] advantage of and we are naively then
[14:40] subsidizing our own demise. And this
[14:43] this is a very very important point is
[14:44] that okay good intentions everyone has
[14:46] good intentions they mean nothing they
[14:49] don't translate to good public policy
[14:52] and in Los Angeles it is a cluttered
[14:55] city and again the media is going to
[14:57] take this out of context. I don't care.
[15:00] It's a dirty city. I'm not saying it's
[15:02] all because of immigrants. It's just
[15:04] dirty. Graffiti is everywhere. There's
[15:06] trash on the streets. There's homeless
[15:08] everywhere. It's a filthy place. And it
[15:11] never used to be that way. Right, Alex?
[15:13] It doesn't need to be this way. You're
[15:14] exactly right. And it's become a filthy
[15:16] place. You're ex I've got a video at the
[15:17] top of my Instagram page where I go down
[15:19] to the Labraa Tarpet. It's supposed to
[15:21] be a family place to go uh there's a
[15:23] national history museum. You learn about
[15:24] history. It just covered. It's a
[15:26] homeless encampment now basically. Like
[15:28] what? Why is that something we want? Why
[15:30] is that something that's a given? That's
[15:32] a guarantee. I was just noticing a mural
[15:34] of Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gigi who
[15:36] died in that helicopter crash defaced by
[15:40] these protesters essentially protesting
[15:42] against the ICE. Why is that helping
[15:43] your cause? The city's become a lawless
[15:46] place. And this is the fundamental
[15:47] thing, Charlie. Democrats do not view
[15:49] law and order as a value. They don't
[15:51] like it. They don't think that they want
[15:53] chaos. And so law and order is a is an
[15:56] antidote to chaos. So they don't like
[15:58] that. So they don't like the concept of
[16:00] we can set a law and we can enforce it.
[16:02] They would rather have things be
[16:03] enforcable based off of their will and
[16:05] their political impetus at the time. And
[16:08] so this has been toxic in this city. It
[16:10] is not working. And I'll tell you that
[16:12] my wife, for example, worked as a
[16:15] trainee, so not making a lot of money,
[16:16] treating illegal aliens, and she would
[16:18] do it with a smile on her face, give
[16:19] them the best care she possibly could.
[16:21] And why? Because to your point, we are
[16:22] humanitarian. I don't want illegal alien
[16:24] kids running around. They're probably
[16:25] better off in the schools. As expensive
[16:27] as it is, what are they supposed to do?
[16:29] Like run around the the neighborhoods
[16:30] all day? That doesn't make any sense.
[16:32] We're going to be humanitarian if you're
[16:33] here. So why leave the border open and
[16:36] why not crack down on the people who we
[16:37] know are illegal and should leave? You
[16:39] can have welfare and closed borders or
[16:42] open borders and no welfare. You cannot
[16:44] have both. They cannot coexist. The
[16:47] entire system collapses. It falls apart.
[16:51] And just let's kind of go deeper into
[16:53] the whole California thing which is what
[16:56] we I mean the image. Can we just reshow
[16:57] the images guys? We cannot show it
[16:59] enough. And a lot of normal
[17:01] non-political people in my life are
[17:03] shocked and horrified by this, Alex. And
[17:05] it's not that we're horrified
[17:07] necessarily by the sight of a Mexican
[17:08] flag. My favorite taco place in downtown
[17:11] Phoenix, which is like they're all
[17:13] Mexican like flag. No, no, no. It's when
[17:15] it's this symbol while you are doing
[17:18] destruction that is obviously a defiance
[17:20] that we have more loyalty to this nation
[17:24] than the one that we're currently
[17:25] doiciled in. over the smoke and over the
[17:28] ashes. Alex, we have not seen this sort
[17:31] of, let's just say, stunning aesthetic
[17:34] as a gut punch to the Democrat party
[17:37] since Floyd Palooa. Am I right? No. And
[17:40] it's amazing how quickly they went for
[17:42] it because they're trying to do this
[17:43] narrative, the gaslighting from Maxine
[17:45] Waters and some people in the media that
[17:47] this is mostly peaceful. It wasn't
[17:48] peaceful for a second. They immediately
[17:50] said, "Where's the first electric car?
[17:52] Let's torch it." I mean, they didn't
[17:54] wait 5 minutes. And with the Mexican
[17:55] flags out there is I got to say I I
[17:57] listen to a lot of Spanish music and I
[18:00] listen to I I it's the Mexican food is
[18:02] my favorite type of food. It's a if I'm
[18:04] ever relaxing, which is very rare, it's
[18:06] probably going to be a tequila or mezcow
[18:08] that's in my glass. It's like I'm I'm
[18:09] fine with Mexican culture. That's not
[18:11] what this is. This isn't even Mexican
[18:12] culture. This is a invasion of our
[18:15] cities and are trying to torch things
[18:17] and destroy things. It's all the
[18:20] destructiveness of it all and the
[18:22] entitlement of it all that you're
[18:23] allowed to be here even though you broke
[18:25] our rules. And that is something that is
[18:28] national Democrats are looking in horror
[18:30] right now. This is what the sources are
[18:32] telling me right now. And I've spoken to
[18:33] a lot of them in the last couple days.
[18:35] They're horrified about what's going on.
[18:37] LA Democrats, big big big big LA
[18:40] Democrats like it though, Charlie. Yeah.
[18:42] Go ahead. I'm telling you right now, the
[18:44] non-polit I was telling this to, you
[18:45] know, look, I'm gonna just say this.
[18:47] I've said it before, please.
[18:49] Non-political person, just, you know,
[18:51] muscular class. She helps us out,
[18:53] whatever. Great person. Non-political.
[18:55] Voted for Trump, but like out of
[18:57] nowhere. She's like, "These riots, this
[18:59] is what Democrats do." She's like, "All
[19:01] I" It's I feel like every couple summers
[19:03] they try to burn down our cities. This
[19:05] is now becoming a meta narrative. it is
[19:08] being tattooed into the consciousness of
[19:10] the American people which is that
[19:12] non-political people because look if if
[19:14] it if it burns it goes to the front
[19:16] lines and people look at it and can we
[19:18] just show that one B-roll guys of the
[19:20] one after the other the cars burning
[19:22] just the the in flames and by the way
[19:25] just so we're clear if you're burning an
[19:27] electric car do you understand the
[19:29] pollution that you are putting into that
[19:31] community I mean yes burning a car is
[19:33] bad the cobalt that you I mean just that
[19:36] alone is like really bad. Okay. And
[19:39] these are the environmentalists, right?
[19:40] These are the green people that think
[19:42] the way that you effectuate change is
[19:45] the smell of cobalt in the morning. And
[19:48] so the And by the way, the seats the
[19:50] seats are like the seats of these cars
[19:52] have really really bad pollution.
[19:54] Anyway, that's a whole other separate
[19:55] they they of course they never cared
[19:56] about that. American families should
[19:58] have their lives ruined by illegally
[19:59] alien crime. If that answer is above
[20:01] zero, you and I have nothing to talk
[20:02] about. That number is zero, Charlie. And
[20:04] here's the thing. A lot of Hispanics
[20:06] that are going to get deported, their
[20:07] family will be deported, you know who
[20:08] they're going to blame? They're going to
[20:09] blame the riers because it now justifies
[20:12] an equal and opposite reaction. It it
[20:14] justifies force. And so the people that
[20:16] then get deported, they'll be like those
[20:18] stupid morons that started burning cars,
[20:21] you know, of course they're going to
[20:23] respond. And they being the US
[20:24] government, and we will. Final thoughts,
[20:26] Alex. Yeah, legal immigrants are moving
[20:28] to Trump faster than any other group.
[20:30] They hate this stuff. I will tell you,
[20:32] they despise it. If you fail to
[20:35] assimilate to our culture, then you will
[20:38] no longer have a country.
[20:40] Multiculturalism has been a failure.
[20:42] Uniculturalism is actually what the
[20:43] founders wanted. E- plurabus unum as
[20:46] Andrew Breitbart would say all the time.
[20:48] He would say, he educated America on e-
[20:50] plurabus unum with Dennis Prager and
[20:51] Andrew Breitbart. E pluribus unum out of
[20:53] many one. You could keep your traditions
[20:56] and you could keep your food, but you're
[20:58] coming here to assimilate to our
[21:00] culture. Alex, thanks so much.
