Was Charlie Kirk a Martyr? A Conversation with Pastor Jack Hibbs
A discussion about Charlie Kirk’s legacy, faith, and the cultural impact of his assassination. Pastor Jack Hibbs reflects on Kirk’s role as a man of faith, the spiritual battle surrounding his death, and the call for believers to boldly stand for truth in challenging times.
Questioning Martyrdom
The question of whether Charlie Kirk was a martyr sparks diverse opinions. While some deny this label, Pastor Jack Hibbs, who knew Kirk personally, affirms that Kirk’s assassination was deeply tied to his faith and mission as an ambassador for Christ in the political and cultural arena.
Charlie Kirk’s Faith and Public Life
Pastor Hibbs emphasizes that Kirk’s work was inseparable from his Christian faith. Though his platform was political, his motivation was rooted in biblical truth. Hibbs explains that Kirk’s assassination was an attack on the kingdom of God, making him a martyr in a spiritual sense.
The Cultural Response to Kirk’s Death
The discussion highlights the polarized reactions following Kirk’s death, including ongoing slander even as his family mourns. Hibbs notes this reflects a broader cultural decline described in Romans 1, where society increasingly rejects God and embraces debased thinking.
The Role of the Church and Revival
Hibbs calls on the church to respond by preaching the Word of God faithfully and boldly. He stresses the need for genuine revival—where the church awakens and the world seeks salvation—rather than superficial responses. He warns that the opportunity for such revival may be closing.
The Dehumanization in Modern Culture
The conversation touches on how progressive ideologies dehumanize opponents, labeling dissenters as fascists or Nazis, which fuels hatred and violence. This dehumanization is part of the cultural decay that Kirk stood against.
Charlie Kirk’s Unique Place in History
Hibbs reflects on Kirk’s uniqueness in the modern era, comparing him to the norm 250 years ago when America’s founding was deeply rooted in biblical principles. Kirk’s reiteration of these truths resonated with young people who had been taught otherwise.
The Spiritual Impact of Kirk’s Death
Many people, including those who never knew Kirk personally, were deeply moved by his assassination. Hibbs sees this as a supernatural sign of God’s work, using Kirk’s death to awaken others to faith and action.
Encouragement to Stand Boldly
The article concludes with a call to believers to stand firm in their faith, speak truth boldly in all areas of life, and not waver in the face of opposition. Hibbs encourages Christians to act now, as time is short.

Is Charlie Kirk a martyr? >> Well, that depends on who you ask. >> Charlie Kirk was not a Christian martyr. >> Charlie Kirk was not a martyr. >> He is not martyr material, so his death will mean nothing. [Music] [Applause] [Music] And today we get some good help on this topic from someone who knew him very well and personally. Pastor Jack Hibbs, founding pastor and senior pastor of Calvary Chapel Chino Hills in Southern California and the founder of Real Life Ministry. Uh, Pastor Jack, thanks so much for taking some time to be with us here today. I know your schedule's been crazy and you're going through a lot, but thanks for taking the time. >> Listen, thank you for the opportunity. I'm always blessed to be with you guys. Uh so thank you so so very much. >> We love your ministry. We love what you do. I think we have that common passion for standing on truth in a bold way, proclaiming to the culture around us. And so I know we connect on that level. So it's always good to talk about these issues with you. And uh we're talking about Charlie Kirk today. Is he a martyr? And I want to kind of lead off with this. We're seeing a lot of attacks on Charlie Kirk even after his death. Right after his death, a lot of lies in our culture. What can you help us understand about that? Well, what is absolutely remarkable is uh that first of all, Charlie Kirk uh is going to hold a very peculiar place, I think, um as people begin to analyze more and more of his life in the sense that I mean, uh he was assassinated. We think of the word assassination connected to maybe the overthrow of a government or a political personality being assassinated. The word assassination applies to Charlie because it was very very clear that Charlie represented the kingdom of God and if I can put it this way the politic of God as an ambassador for Christ. Now I know that very few people would understand what I'm saying unless they know their Bibles. And then the word martyr. You don't usually put assassination or assassinated with the word martyr. But in Charlie's case, he did what he did based upon his faith in the Lord and he was so able to bring together the public square with his public faith that both of those hats fit. I say yes, he was assassinated and he is a martyr because if without Jesus Christ a Charlie would not have been called to do what he was doing. And even in the midst of his most political type of messaging, he always brought it back to the cross, to Christ, the truth of God. And so I personally believe you can't separate the two. He was a man assassinated uh and he was a martyr. And I see no contradiction in that. >> It's interesting. We asked this question as a poll on our YouTube channel and some people were saying absolutely yes. Other people were saying no. He died because of mega. He died because of his political views. But as I was kind of thinking about that, all of the tributes, all of the the conversation I've seen about him since he he passed has been about his faith. >> How do you want to be remembered? I want to be I want to be remembered for for courage for my faith. >> I haven't seen anybody being like, "This is such a loss for politics. This is such a loss for, you know, this particular group of, you know, or or for President Trump or anything like that. It's all been about Christ. It's all been about the gospel. It's all been about Jesus." And so to me, that says this wasn't really about politics. It was never really about politics. It's about Christ and about the truth of God's word and about the hatred that people have for God and for the people who follow after Christ and actually believe what he says in his word. >> Well, Avery, I love what you just said because I know uh that many times Charlie and I spoke personally and you just you just said it right. that number one the platform that God had projected him into and this is a good example for all of us in his world happened to be to influence young people college campuses and the culture in the realm of politics but he didn't do that for political purposes he did it for truth purposes and so in Matthew chapter 5 Jesus said let your light so shine before men that when they see your good works referring to the day of judgment men generic all mankind that when they see your good works, they'll glorify your father which is in heaven. Now, uh it's remarkable because God's word also says to that to Matthew 5 is that uh in the day of judgment, he will cause uh the the wrath of man to praise his name. So Charlie did what he did based upon his biblical foundation. It wasn't his political foundation that caused him to insert Jesus. It was that he was out to promote Jesus and he did it in the political realm whereby God had called him. But when I say political, I don't even like saying that because he didn't see it that way. He saw it in the in this in the cultural or the civic square in the area of the public domain. And I love that so much about Charlie where if there was an area of darkness that's where Charlie wanted to go. Now you made a great great observation about there are those who are saying that uh he passed as a martyr and then then there are those who are saying no. I can honestly tell you none of that bothers me for this reason. Those who say no he did it for MAGA or whatever. I their comments literally are water off my back because they did not know him and their comments make it clear that they they clearly did not know him. Uh to to have known Charlie and to to have listened to Charlie at length. They would not have come to that uh comment or that conclusion. >> Yeah. I mean if you listen to what he said like you said in context he was advocating for biblical principles. >> Go to a church a good Bible-based church. We have many of the pastors here that teach the word of God verse by verse. >> Defining marriage biblically, defining gender biblically, defining how we interact with people in a public way in biblical realms. He was using biblical passages and biblical wisdom and applying to our culture. And really, you think about so many Christians are saying, "Well, don't engage in politics. It's to be separate from the church." But politics is just applied morality. That's all it is. And whose morality will you apply? And Charlie sought to apply God's morality to our culture for God's glory and the good of humanity. Am I right in that? >> Oh, Brian, well said. Well said indeed. God gave Charlie a calling and God gave Charlie a lane for him to operate in. By the way, God gave us a calling and he gave each of us a lane to operate in. Here's what we need to remember. I don't care if you work for NASA, if you're a school teacher, if you're a homemaker, if you are a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, if you're a Christian, that's what you are first. And there is no square inch of this world on this planet that we are not to proclaim Christ. We are to go everywhere. And so the truth of the matter is when we take our Jesus and the biblical worldview truth into every area of life which we are commanded to do it is it separates. The light pierces the darkness and it separates. We don't even have to look at the luxury of our nation's founding. I mean, it is amazing. But let's let's pretend for a moment we don't have our pilgrim era and our founding fathers that consulted the scriptures to bring this government into existence. Let's think of some godless nation that just started out of war and mayhem. We are still supposed to be a believer in that culture to preach Christ and to be an example of Christ even in that world. So, there's no area exempt. Charlie lived it out. And for that, for him promoting the truth of God without apology, remember it's I believe it's people who wanted to silence that truth. If Charlie was talking about something else, they wouldn't have cared. It's the truth they sought to kill, which is why we as believers are so excited because it is yet a profound reminder to all of us. The truth cannot die. It will not die. It is eternal. It is God's truth, not ours. And Charlie was capable uh careful to promote God's truth, which you cannot shoot. You cannot assassinate God's truth. That's why in the spirit there's going to be thousands, maybe tens of thousands, who knows, maybe millions of Charlie Kirks that come out of what just happened. I have no doubt about this. Not because of Charlie's success, but because of the Holy Spirit's commitment to exalt Jesus Christ and to elevate the word of God everywhere. >> In Romans chapter 1, as you get to the end of chapter 1, we read about how when people reject God, God turns them over to a debased mind. And then it goes through this whole list. this. I mean, you just got to go read it in Romans chapter 1 of things we're seeing in our culture right now of just all of the the lies and the vitrial and the violence and the love of violence. All of that that we're seeing is laid out right there in Romans chapter 1. So, when we're seeing these increasing this just sort of increasing violence in the name of uh pushing a particular cause or in the name of silencing those that people don't like or that are spewing quote unquote hate, of course, defined by the wrong definition. Are we seeing Romans 1 just sort of happening in our culture today? >> I not only believe we're seeing Romans chapter 1 happening in our culture today, but if I step back and look at at the world around me through my Bible lens, I see the maturing of I see the fulfillment of I see the deep plunge into Romans 1. I I don't think we're starting to see a culture that is starting maybe to act like Romans 1. I think we are well into Romans chapter 1. In fact, let me share this with you. And because it's really early here in Southern California, I've got to put my glasses on. Listen to this. This is Paul talking to Timothy in 2 Timothy chapter 3. But know this that in the last days, perilous times will come. For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, hotty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God. And then verse 9 says, "But they will progress no further, for their folly will be manifested to all." We are seeing that in spades right now. It is unfolding which for me personally, this is my opinion. I do not represent anybody else when I say this and I'm not saying that answers in Genesis believes what I'm about about to say. This is my opinion. I believe in light of what we're seeing in the United States of America, which is quite unique right now, is an an unmititigated violence and a black heart murderous atmosphere that a friend of mine summed it up yesterday. He said, "You know, I never thought I'd ever see the day where I'm safer to walk the streets of Dubai at 2 am." He said, 'I'm safe here. I could not do that in America, and I'm so sorry, Jack, for your country. >> Well, that's an accurate assessment because why? Romans 1 is being fulfilled. This is a culture now that has been bred on lies. And we have young people now who have been told all their lives that they're nothing but an evolutionary byproduct of a collection of accidents that have brought about their existence. We've told them that they're animals. So when they begin to act like animals, we get upset because they're not acting like angels. Why should they? We've swn to the wind and now we're reaping the whirlwind. Unless there is a radical, profound, and I'm I'm so tired of hearing this word. I'm sorry you guys. I am so tired of hearing the word revival. People throw that word around like it's some sort of uh candy or fast food item. Revival is an epic manifestation of God's intervention in the life of his people that turns around and affects a godless culture, bringing the godless into a relationship with God. Only time will tell if we are in the midst of a revival. I have no evidence right now biblically based that we are in a revival. And people will say, "Well, we just baptized a bunch of people into what did did you preach repentance before you baptized them?" What did you baptize them? Why are we celebrating? Ask them, do you know what the gospel is? Most of them can't even tell you, but we baptized them. This is not revival. Revival will be when the church awakens out of its stuper becomes so pure and holy by the work of God that the world begins to knock on the door and say what must I do to be saved. So this is a very very clarion moment and I don't know how it's going to go folks. I don't know how it's going to go. Time will tell. >> So much good stuff in what you just said. I wanted to key in on a couple of things. You mentioned about the the education system indoctrinating kids for generations that they're just an animal and really dehumanizing people, taking away that special value made in God's image. And in a real sense, what we see also with that with the attack of kind of this progressive anti-biblical leftist ideology is a dehumanization of its enemies. If you don't go along with their particular ideology, you are a fascist, you are a Nazi, you are Hitler. Using this sort of language to dehumanize them. Therefore, if that person is killed, well, that's actually a good thing because you should kill a Nazi. And that kind of goes also handin-hand with the fact we're seeing so much slander against Charlie right after his death, even by some professing believers. And it's like they have no self-control that they still even after his death, then the respectful thing to do, even if you don't agree with him, would be, "Hey, I'm going to be quiet. I'm sorry. He died. That's bad. I'm going be quiet." They can't even do that. No. No. I can't help myself. I must say that he's a racist and a bigot and a homophobe. They're still slandering him right after he died. his his wife is still mourning. Kids maybe don't even know yet and they're still doing it. And so I think it speaks to what you're saying about this change in our culture sliding down the Romans one road and our need as a church to engage and be the salt and light God has called us to be. >> Yeah, you hit the nail on the head. Uh going back to Romans 1, they are reprobate. We read the Bible, but do we really believe the Bible? Because when you reference Romans 1, it says that God will give them up to a debased mind. That is not that's not mysterious talk. That's not some >> yeah, >> you know, little kind of spiritual mystic type of typology. It is a fact. So you have to stop and ask yourself today in the 21st century, is Romans 1 really happening? You cannot come to any other conclusion, but yes, it is. There are people walking this earth right now and apparently in large numbers in America who are reprobate. God has given them over. They are done. I know it sounds brutal, but they're done. God warned them. God spoke to them. God called out to them. And what they did was they decided to shut the door on God. And then he gave them over. He wiped his hands clean of them. This should not surprise us. I know I'm speaking bluntly this morning or today, but here's the bottom line. Do you believe the Bible? Yes. Yes, of course I do. Then you must believe Romans chapter 1. And what we're seeing is is Romans 1. How did that come about? If you look at Romans chapter one, it deifies the evolutionary theory because those in Romans 1, they take God's creation and they re they flip it on its head and they they remove God from the equation and they declare it to be evolution. They worship the things that creep upon the earth, for-footed things, birds of the air. And notice that they wind up making man into the deity because in their minds there is no deity. So once man himself is the deity of his world uh he is what the captain of his own ship >> uh whatever the jargon is that if he is a evolutionary animal he's accountable to no one there is no justice there is no right or wrong because every man will do what is right in his own eyes >> and so they consume people's lives with either bullets knives or words and so when people say, uh, you're a fascist, you are a, uh, Nazi or whatever. I I mean, I we know this that when they've lost an argument and they have nothing to say. >> Yeah. >> They will call names. We're not calling anybody names, we are saying you're on the wrong side of the argument. We're telling you that because God loves you. And I don't know if it's too late for you or not for those of you hearing this, but are you are you able to come over to the life of God and to the the world of God's beautiful existence? Or are you so set in your way that God has washed his hands of your life and you are now done and you are exhibiting a godless life? Peter uh Paul mentions this as well that these are vessels that have been fashioned unto destruction by their own wickedness. God has given them up. Much like the days of Noah, Noah didn't shut the door to the ark. God did. >> And I think a lot of hearts, like I read a moment ago here in Timothy, God has shut the door. And now we're starting to see lives uh taking to the streets or getting behind the knife or the the gun and they're living out their black hearts and their debased minds. They're doing it. >> Uh I read lots of reports that churches were absolutely packed that people had to park four blocks away in order to get into their church because there were so many people there. Um, other studies have shown like Gen Z and millennials are attending church more regularly than previous generations. So we we're seeing among the younger generations maybe a bit of a shift, a spiritual openness that we haven't seen previous to this in the last few years. And then of course with Charlie Kirk's assassination, all of a sudden there's just been this surge of all these young people who followed him and liked him being like, whoa, what just happened? Do how can the church during this moment that God has given us >> take what Satan intended for evil, use it for good as God intended? What can we be doing? What should the church practically be doing in these times? >> The church practically should be doing this at at all times. Um these kids should be going to churches that are teaching and and and uh preaching the word of God for uh not only salvation but for instruction. The second thing is wherever the Holy Spirit is exalting Jesus Christ through the word of God where it's taught. I mean imagine this. We have this guarantee. Jesus said so in John 15 and John 16. If we open up the word of God and teach it, the Holy Spirit will bring all things to remembrance whatsoever I have taught you. Think of this. So the Holy Spirit is searching churches right now. Like in the book of Revelation, Jesus is going through the midst of the seven lampstands. I believe that's happening now. The spirit of God is looking for a church. I don't care if it's 10 people or 10,000. It's irrelevant. And he's looking for where where Jesus will be exalted through the word of God in in biblicalbased faith, which will be this. Repent of your sins. Listen, repent and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved. Once that happens in a person's life, we are commanded as the church to go out into all the world and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the father, the son, and the holy spirit. And here is the the secret sauce. The Bible preached accurately by the power of the Holy Spirit to bring people to salvation and once they're saved, disciple them. That is what a church is for to disciple. And so my concern is this. Where did all those people go on Sunday? You you are correct. You know we usually have about 10,000 people adults that is here on a Sunday. And last Sunday we had 14,000 adults here. >> Wow. >> Uh where did they come from? Uh did they find the word of God here? Uh did God speak to them? So right now we see a lot of things where unless we're teaching the word, people could get easily almost inoculated against the truth if they're searching and they go they go to a place that is um is not walking in the word. I mean, I'm I'm I'm holding it back right now, you guys, because I heard a string of people who knew someone who went to a church and they they not they they not only didn't mention Charlie's martyrdom, they didn't mention Jesus Christ and the cross. >> Yikes. >> And so, put yourself in those those first time visitors, shoes, what they're thinking. >> So, I I believe this. I believe God is pleading with pastors right now. And it could be like the midnight cry, so to speak. I I think God is pleading with pastors, "Will you give them my word? Just get out of the way by giving them my word. Tell them what I've said. Tell them what I've done for them. Keep your your stories and your and your opinions out of it. Give them my truth." I believe God, the Holy Spirit is saying that to pastors today. at least those that are called by him. And I think this is a very, very serious moment. We better do this right by following the Lord at this time. If we don't, I think we might be seeing the the hinges start to squeak as the door of opportunity begins to close. How much worse does it have to get in America before pastors step up? How bad does it have to get when Christians now are being targeted? Churches are being attacked. What are we how how bad will it be? And here in California, we not only have to be careful where we're at, but we know where the enemy lives. The enemy lives in Sacramento. And they're legislators in Sacramento who are making laws according to Isaiah 10:1 that write misfortune for the population, write evil for the people. We're dealing with that as well. And the Christian is the only one that is standing up against this darkness. And um if we don't stand, who will stand? >> No. Yeah. That's so good. It's so good. I think it's so absolutely needed. Uh you know, you gave the example or mentioned so many people going back to church and are they going to a good church? And I I bet you can remember this, too. I can remember 911. Uh Avery doesn't remember 911 all that well, but I can remember 911. And u I was a teacher at the time. Uh my students saw it. We watched on the big boxy TV in the corner on the on the brackets over there and saw the whole thing go down. And there was for a time this this upswing of people going to church because they felt this attack on their safety and the nation. And there was for a moment this kind of upswing, but then it kind of faded away and everything went back to normal. And I think to your point, as people are going to churches, we want them to hear the word of God. So when they do go, their lives are changed. And there's no going back to normal, but going to pursue Christ and proclaim his glory and his truth. And I I could not agree more about the pastors and the need for Christians to stand and be bold. Pastor Jack, as far as the ministry, you know, I've been speaking on this for 11 years with answers in Genesis. And people, Christians are blown away as we give answers about rock layers and fossils and dinosaurs and evolution and the age of the earth and even all the social issues, gender, marriage, sexuality. We give them answers and they're not hard. Where do we go? We just go to the word of God and apply it to the world around us and we have answers. And I got a question for you in that. Do you think that Charlie in his life and in his practice and what he did was so powerful? Because that's what he did in a political way. He just took God's word and brought it to bear on the political issues and it blew the minds of college students because they're like, "Wow, the Bible does have answers." Do you think that's true? >> Yeah. Yeah. You know, uh I I love I love what you're asking. Um, I think I was on Fox News when when a question was asked that caused me to think this thought. And I think it was from the Lord that this thought was given, but not only did Charlie do that, but I'm a real fan of a of of American history. It's it's it's great to read. And I and it dawned on me in that instant. I had, I think, a little epiphany. And I answered them by saying that Charlie Kirk in our 21st century was so unique. He was so unique. But if you were to pluck him out of the 21st century and put him back 250 years ago, did you know that Charlie would not have been unique? 250 years ago, Charlie was not unique. Charlie was the norm. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> We have gotten so far from God and our nation has so deliberately veiled the the the amazing work of grace in the formation of this nation. Charlie understood that and these are truths. These are not stories. These are truths. So what happened was when Charlie simply reiterated history, Bible engagement in the culture. Notice that young people who have had all the lies spoken to them, they've had professors and and teachers tell them, "You don't you don't really know if you're a male or a female or not. Um you're evolutionary byproduct. There is no right and wrong. If it feels good, do it. When kids heard the truth spoken by Charlie, they knew because it was God-bearing witness of his truth, they knew, hey, I got to listen to this guy. This guy makes sense. And this is what the lie and this is what the dark side doesn't have and they'll never have it. They the dark side moves in cloaks and clouds of confusion >> and of numbness. When the light of God shines into that darkness, there there is a quickening of the mind. When people start thinking, they start waking up out of a coma. And we've seen tens of thousands, if not millions of young young Americans waking up and realizing, I've been lied to. I heard what Charlie just said. He's right. That's what's been happening. And so God used him profoundly. But ju let's just remember this >> especially now. Can you imagine if Charlie was to >> speak to us right now? He would say, "Hey, you guys be careful that you don't mention my name too much because I was only a servant to the will of God. It's Jesus." And people are waking up to not church, thank God, not denominations, watch out, but to Jesus. It's got to be about Jesus or else it's not a real revival. And time will tell. If if you mentioned 911, do I believe a a revival happened after 911? I do not. There's no evidence of it. Do I believe in in the last couple of years um a lot of people attending church? Is that a revival? Too early to tell. >> Yeah. >> Well, what about this issue with Charlie Kirk and what's happening in the world around us? Well, let's see what's going on six months from now. Because if it's of God, then it will result in righteousness, holiness, the church is going to be beautiful, not a not a subject of scorn and ridicule. And by the way, God will always purify his church. How do we know? Judgment must first begin at the house of the Lord. And I do believe you guys right now, that's why I'm not worried about it. All of this stuff about false doctrine, even anti-semitism, gender ideology, fear, be it COVID or next virus. I don't worry about it because in all of it, notice God is peeling away the chaff and the false by the trials of this life and he's preparing himself a bride. All this must happen. I got a personal question before I jump into kind of the next one. Uh the I didn't know Charlie personally. I was familiar with what he did. I'd watched quite a few of his videos. I knew his stand, his love for Christ. Um and I so appreciated the ministry he had while he was here. But when I heard the news and when I saw what happened, it hit me in a way I never could anticipate. It hit so yeah hard. It was like I lost a a a brother. Maybe that's extreme, but it just hit so hard. And I remember weeping >> over this and then even going home and and there were so many factors in play. I know going praying with my family. I got two young kids and praying for dinner and just trying to pray for Charlie's wife and his kids. And I'm breaking down at the dinner table for this man I never met personally but it hit so hard. And my question to you really is can you help us kind of understand why has it hit us so hard? And then what should we do as a people as we think about this? >> Now think about it naturally. It makes no sense whatsoever for you to have been moved like that. This is something that is my hope. All around the world, we saw people weeping. Some of them had never heard of Charlie before and they were profusely profoundly affected and expressed it. That's not normal. when something is not normal that that is of the spirit realm that glorifies God. This is a great hope in the midst of this moment where you can analyze that and probably come safely to a conclusion. Like Dr. Warren Wearsby said, if you can explain what God is doing at your church, God's not the one doing it. Think about that for a moment. >> Yeah. What's happening right now, >> we cannot clearly explain it. There's a supernatural effect >> that is beyond Charlie. God is using Charlie. And I think no, I believe God is wanting to do Brian and Avery what he did with Charlie. The impact maybe in each and every one of our lives from this moment forward. God used Charlie. God wants to use Avery. God wants to use Brian and Jack. And so my thing is this, Lord, whatever you're doing, please don't don't pass me by. >> Amen. >> This is a supernatural moment. It's evident in the world. And it's also I'm I know this sounds crazy, you guys, but I'm actually very much encouraged by the vitriol and the hate against Charlie. How can a person who never knew Charlie, met Charlie, ever heard of Charlie? That's a good point. >> be veheminently cursing him and he in postmortem cursing him out uh saying that they hate him. >> Yeah, >> friends, I'm sorry, but that is a profound encouragement to me because Jesus said, "Don't think it's strange if the world hate you." >> That's right. >> They hated me long before they hated you. And so, what a compliment in the realm of the spirit. These lunatics, these these demonized people, whatever they are, time will tell, they're giving God glory by hating Charlie Kirk. Only the God of the Bible can turn what man has meant for evil around for good. Amen. He's the ultimate and the one and only redeemer. And he's doing it now. >> In these times that we live in where God has placed us for such a time as this, it's time for us to take a bold stand like Charlie did. continue to take that bold stand. And uh I believe that's what your new book is about, correct? >> Yeah. Gosh, I feel kind of sick about that. Yes, you're correct. This book was written eight months ago. I must testify that God in his sovereign wisdom has somehow orchestrated the release of this book right now this week. >> Oh wow. >> In some reason to correlate with Charlie's passing. And everybody's talking about stand up. Don't don't lay down. Don't be silent. That's what the enemy wants is for us to be quiet. This is the hand of God. I didn't see it coming. I'm I'm just as shocked. But I feel like for those who are antagonist, I I need to say I this this is 100% organic book. Not one bit of this book is AI. Not a not a piece. It was written eight months ago. It's been sitting by the publisher waiting. They did they set the month of September for the release. I didn't do that. They did and they set that eight months ago. It's it's got to be the hand of God. That's all I can say >> from the book. How that help believers to indeed take that bull stand that's so needed today. >> If we don't stand I mean think about how fundamental this is. And people the Christian knows this. They know down deep inside Brian and Avery. They know down deep inside the Holy Spirit is saying to them very softly, gently, but he's saying this. Stand up. Stand up to that family member and tell them the truth. Stand up to that school teacher or say this to your class or to your boss or to your employees. Speak truth. Tell them about my son. Don't waver. When you see evil, blow the trumpet. Bring it to the attention of others. Expose what is wrong and edify and exalt what is good. You know, I'm totally confident every Christian is hearing some form of that communication from the spirit of God. And I also think he's saying, "Do it now." Time is short. Do the work now while it is yet day. For night is soon coming when no man will be able to work. I think Jesus is shouting that. Amen. Well, that that's that's phenomenal, pastor.
