We Got Receipts Exposes Unhinged Liberals Who Attacked Conservatives and Faced Serious Legal Consequences

We Got Receipts documents a series of incidents where liberals physically assaulted conservatives, vandalized property, and made threats, only to face arrest and prosecution. From a teaching assistant at Illinois State University who flipped Turning Point USA tables and threatened Donald Trump, to a state senator who keyed a car over a bumper sticker, these cases reveal a pattern of violence from those who believe they can attack conservatives without repercussions. The footage shows arrests, confessions, and the legal consequences that followed, including felony charges, jail time, and career-ending outcomes for the perpetrators.

Teaching Assistant Arrested for Multiple Assaults and Threats

Derek Lopez, a teaching assistant at Illinois State University, made headlines after he disrupted two Turning Point USA tabling events on campus. In video footage, Lopez approached the TPUSA table and attempted to flip it over, later justifying his actions by claiming "that's what Jesus would do." He stated on Instagram that he had successfully flipped over their table, expressing disappointment when the incident gained attention.

The situation escalated when Lopez returned to disrupt a second tabling event, this time successfully damaging property and ripping off flyers. Illinois State University confirmed that Lopez was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and property damage allegations. The Turning Point USA representatives had been distributing information about an upcoming comedy event when Lopez targeted them.

Federal Investigation Launched

The investigation into Lopez took a darker turn when authorities discovered he had made electronic harassment threats against Republicans. During an FBI interview, Lopez's "true intentions" were revealed. He had made threats against Donald Trump's life, which led to federal involvement in the case. When confronted about the threats, Lopez attempted to portray himself as a victim, claiming he received death threats and was doxxed after his actions went viral on Fox News.

The judge denied Lopez's bail based on his behavior, and he remained in jail for several months following his October arrest. He is no longer teaching at Illinois State University and is currently awaiting trial.

Street Interviewer Pepper Sprayed in Unprovoked Attack

Surge Philly, a content creator known for street interviews who voted for Trump, became the target of an unprovoked assault. A woman began screaming at him, making false accusations about him being racist and talking negatively about Islamic people, Black people, and Mexicans. The confrontation quickly turned violent when the woman attempted to grab his phone and physically struck him.

Video footage captured the woman pepper spraying Philly in the back of his head. Despite the assault, she returned multiple times to continue her attack, spraying him directly in the eyes with mace. Throughout the incident, she claimed Philly was harassing people, though the video clearly showed him simply standing and recording while she initiated all physical contact.

The woman later claimed self-defense, despite video evidence showing Philly never touched her or acted aggressively. She was subsequently arrested and lost her internship position at news station YWHY. The Office of the Attorney General Mass Transit prosecutor brought charges against her for the assault.

Oklahoma State University Student Destroys Property

At Oklahoma State University, an individual was caught on camera vandalizing Turning Point USA property during a tabling event. The person threw TPUSA materials like a shot put and engaged in what they described as exercising free speech by censoring others. When confronted about the contradiction between supporting free speech while destroying others' property, the individual became hostile.

The vandal claimed not to believe in having conversations with "people who don't think I deserve rights," despite no such statement being made. When informed that their actions constituted the "heckler's veto" and were illegal, they repeatedly denied the law. Oklahoma State University confirmed that charges were pending against the individual for destruction of property.

Cigarette Assault on Trump Supporter

A woman deliberately put out her cigarette on a Trump supporter's sign, leading to her arrest. When police arrived and reviewed video footage of the incident, they confirmed the destruction of private property. The woman received charges for the offense, with police explaining she would likely receive community service and be ordered to pay restitution for the damaged flag.

Despite having no prior warnings or offenses on her record, the woman began pleading with the victim not to press charges, claiming the incident would negatively impact her studies and future. She even suggested she should have "ashed it right in front of the sign, not on the sign," showing a fundamental misunderstanding of the issue. The judge ultimately moved forward with the misdemeanor charges.

Woman Arrested for Attempting to Steal Trump Flag

Video captured a woman attempting to remove a Trump flag or anti-Biden flag from a truck in a parking lot. The truck owner repeatedly asked her to get away from his vehicle and stop touching his property, warning he would press charges. The woman initially ignored his requests and continued trying to remove the flag from his truck.

Eventually, the vehicle owner's assertive commands convinced the woman to stop and return to her own vehicle. The owner noted he was in a good mood, otherwise the consequences for her attempted theft would have been more severe. The incident highlighted the entitlement some individuals feel toward removing political displays they disagree with.

Aggressive Confrontation Leads to Immediate Arrest

In a bizarre incident, a man parked his vehicle in the middle of the street and approached Trump supporters who were peacefully gathering, praying, and playing music on the side of the road. The man began yelling aggressively and challenging the group to fight, appearing to be under the influence of substances.

The situation escalated when the man began physically fighting with members of the group. A police officer who was present immediately intervened, putting the aggressor in a headlock and subduing him. The Trump supporters had been engaged in entirely peaceful activities when the unprovoked attack occurred, and the swift police response prevented further violence.

Savannah Hernandez Assaulted at Minneapolis Event

Turning Point USA's Savannah Hernandez was violently assaulted while covering an event called FIC Day outside the Whipple Federal Building in Minneapolis. Hernandez explicitly stated she was only there to observe and film, not to interview attendees. Despite her passive presence, a mob of activists surrounded and attacked her.

Multiple women verbally harassed Hernandez, with one demanding to know her race. A man known as "Minnesota Angry Man" and his daughter then became physically violent. The daughter repeatedly hit and punched Hernandez while the father shoved her to the ground. Other members of the crowd continued to push and mob her as she attempted to leave the area.

After the assault, some attackers bizarrely claimed they had "protected" Hernandez from being attacked, despite video evidence clearly showing they were the ones assaulting her. Police reviewed the camera footage and arrested the daughter at the scene. Her boyfriend, wearing a chef's hat, attempted to interfere with the arrest, leading to both of them being detained in what observers described as a "romantic scene" of getting arrested together.

Federal Investigation into Minneapolis Attackers

The father involved in the assault, who goes by the nickname "Minnesota Angry Man," had previously gained fame in liberal media circles. He appeared on shows with Don Lemon and Jen Psaki on MSNBC, and was featured on liberal podcasts like The Bulwark. The Star Tribune published a puff piece about him, with mainstream media portraying him as a hero standing up for his community.

Following the assault on Savannah Hernandez, Kash Patel, head of the FBI, officially launched a federal criminal investigation into the family. Harmeet Dhillon, the Assistant Attorney General, confirmed that at least one member of the family has been indicted. The case represents a significant escalation from local charges to federal prosecution.

Keying Cars Over Political Bumper Stickers

Multiple incidents involved individuals keying vehicles because of pro-Trump or anti-Biden bumper stickers. In one case at a Winn-Dixie parking lot, a man scratched a green Toyota Tundra after seeing a "Let's Go Brandon" sticker. Security footage captured him walking past the truck, looking at the sticker, then deliberately keying the passenger side. He even circled back in the parking lot to key the vehicle a second time.

When police confronted him at his home, the man initially pretended not to remember the incident. After being shown security footage, he admitted the bumper sticker "infuriated" him and that was his only motivation for the vandalism. He confirmed he used his key card to scratch the vehicle and acknowledged he didn't know the owner. Because the damage exceeded $1,000, requiring the truck to be repainted, the offense was classified as a felony rather than a misdemeanor.

State Senator Caught Lying to Police

In one of the most egregious cases, State Senator Joshua Miller keyed a vehicle belonging to young men who had a "Biden Sucks" bumper sticker on their truck. When confronted by the vehicle owners, Miller falsely claimed they had recognized him as a state senator, called them "gun nuts," and suggested they were targeting him politically.

Miller told police the young men had yelled at him and falsely accused him of keying their car. However, when police interviewed the victims, they confirmed they had no idea who Miller was and didn't follow state politics. Security camera footage from the parking lot definitively proved Miller had keyed the vehicle.

Police confronted Miller at his home with the video evidence, forcing him to admit his actions. Officers made clear they didn't want to be accused of covering up a crime for a senator, and charged Miller with misdemeanor vandalism and obstructing an officer for lying during the investigation. Shortly after the incident, State Senator Joshua Miller announced he would not seek reelection.

Vandalism of Memorial Sign

Nineteen-year-old Megan Bucher was arrested for vandalizing a rented memorial sign at Tire Dock. The business had rented out their sign board for a memorial reading "In Loving Memory of Charlie Kirk." Bucher spray painted over the sign, changing it to include the word "racist" and profane language.

When police arrived at her home with surveillance footage, Bucher initially hesitated to admit her actions. She eventually confessed, claiming she thought the memorial was "stupid" and that there was "racist stuff going on." She stated "somebody need to say something," apparently believing vandalism was an appropriate form of political expression.

Police arrested Bucher for criminal trespass and transported her to the Walton County Sheriff's Department for booking. Officers had to speak to her in a measured tone, explaining that destroying someone else's property simply because of disagreement was unacceptable. The case exemplified the disrespect some individuals show toward political figures they oppose, even extending to memorial tributes.
