SBI Agent David Hull's Testimony in the Kirk Case
Showing 15 David Hull videos from Charlie Kirk's video collection.
David Hull, an investigator with Utah's State Bureau of Investigation for seven years before moving to a training role, led much of the surveillance-video analysis behind the case against Tyler Robinson. Testifying at the preliminary hearing, Hull described working forward and backward through Utah Valley University's campus footage from the moment a shooter was seen on the Losee Center roof, tracing Robinson's movements across four separate visits to campus on September 10th and 11th. Under cross-examination by defense attorney Katherine Nester, Hull acknowledged real gaps in the investigation, including the absence of recovered bullet casings on the rooftop itself and the fact that Robinson's identity wasn't confirmed until he voluntarily surrendered three days after the shooting. Hull also read aloud text messages between Robinson and his roommate, Lance Twiggs, describing Robinson's reported confession and his attempt to retrieve the hidden rifle before investigators found it. Not everyone has accepted the footage and testimony at face value: Candace Owens has argued that enhanced surveillance video shown at the hearing is less conclusive than prosecutors suggest, describing it as too blurry to identify anyone with certainty, a characterization prosecutors and other legal commentators covering the same hearing have disputed.
