Gray Hughes Investigates: A Physical Reconstruction of the Shooting

Showing 13 Gray Hughes Investigates videos from Charlie Kirk's video collection.

Gray Hughes Investigates built an unusually detailed physical reconstruction of the Charlie Kirk shooting, walking the actual Utah Valley University campus with 360-degree cameras to map Tyler Robinson's movements minute by minute, from an 8:07 a.m. sighting near a residential street through the tunnel entrance, up the Losee Building stairwell, and onto the rooftop firing position. Where much of the surrounding investigative content built toward alternative theories, Hughes's channel consistently did the opposite, matching rooftop scuff marks, dust patterns, and drag marks against surveillance timestamps to argue the physical evidence lines up precisely with the official account rather than contradicting it.

Hughes was explicit and unusually blunt about that conclusion given how much competing content existed: he directly criticized larger creators, naming Candace Owens specifically, for what he considered manufacturing complexity out of a case he found straightforward once the on-the-ground evidence was actually examined in person rather than debated online. His on-site work, done in collaboration with other investigators like Gary from Paramount Tactical, treated physical presence at the actual location as the decisive advantage his channel had over purely remote commentary, letting terrain and camera sightlines settle questions that looked more ambiguous from a desk.
