Mitch Snow is a retired military veteran who told Candace Owens he witnessed Brian Harpole and Erika Kirk together at a meeting near Fort Huachuca days before Charlie Kirk's assassination, an account Owens treated as a central piece of evidence in her broader investigation into the killing. To back up Snow's story, Owens later shared what she described as a Fort Huachuca military police report documenting an encounter with Snow at the base. Gary Melton, who runs the channel Paramount Tactical, examined that same report and laid out several inconsistencies in it line by line, including details about Snow's account of why he was on base that didn't match what Owens had presented as corroboration. The dispute became part of a wider, increasingly public feud between Owens and Turning Point USA, with Owens accusing spokesman Andrew Kolvet of feeding information to other YouTubers to discredit Snow, and Erika Kirk providing an alibi through back channels rather than addressing the claims directly. Matt Walsh took the opposite position entirely, arguing that Snow's account, like the other claims Owens has raised about Erika Kirk, doesn't amount to evidence of anything, and that all available facts point to Tyler Robinson as the sole person responsible for Kirk's death.
