I'm not going to reel my sources, but I will say that I am very friendly with someone who was longtime very, very close friends, personal friends with Megan Kelly before Megan blew up that particular friendship. And this friend recently confided in me that about a week after Charlie Kirk's horrific assassination, Megan admitted to this now former friend of hers that what Candace Owens was saying about the Charlie Kirk assassination was truly nuts. [music] So just over the past few months, she's she's gone from really warming up the Tucker and Candace to going all the way in to the to the extent that she is lying when she when she says that Ben Shapiro, [snorts] you know, inaccurately said that Candace was blaming Erica Kirk. No, Candace was blaming Erica Kirk. I mean, she was blaming me. Another source confided me in this [music] that Megan Kelly actually admitted she knows that what Tucker and Candace are currently saying is [music] bat crap. Insane. Truly insane. But the reason that she refuses to call it out categorically, any of it, is because she is afraid of their followers. She has sold her soul to Tucker Carlson and Candace Owens. Megan herself said, "I promoted Josh Hammer's very crappy podcast for him many times." He she calls you a snake and then you uh responded rightly. One pies those with the spine of a jellyfish and the courage of a weasel. Janie Vance, he's going to have to make some sort of decision as to whether or not he's going to take a stand against the world's most ancient form of bigotry. Okay, Josh Hammer. Well, a lot has happened since we last spoke. And uh, by the way, for those of you who aren't familiar with Josh Hammer, although I'm sure many of you are, Josh is the host of the Josh Hammer Show, a fantastic podcast. He's the editor at large of Newsweek, and he's the author of this phenomenal book, Israel and Civilization, which you all have to get. And no, Candace Owens. Josh did not ask me to promote this book in this video or in the previous one. And I say that because since since we last spoke, Josh, and this, by the way, confirmed for me that, you know, I don't just assume she's making stuff up, but I know she is. Uh she covered our last video, our last interview together on her show since we last spoke. and she was sort of trying to suggest that because your I I was mentioning your book and the book was being mentioned, we were somehow trying to utilize uh what had happened with Charlie Kirk, which is absurd. Josh, let's just set the record straight. Josh has never ever asked me to mention the book. I think it's a phenomenal book, as did Charlie Kirk, who I also knew and who Josh knew. And frankly, I found it quite absurd given that, you know, it's literally they are what they accuse you of. Candice has in every single video uh first of all been perversely twisting what happened with Charlie in order to monetize and grow her channel. And even in those videos she's sending showing people about her her merch and all these things. It's it's just completely sick. And um uh so much has happened throughout the world uh when it comes to Jewish issues and Israel and all of that which is what we focus on on JTV. Um, and in a normal sane world, I would not just be, well, more sane. I'd be talking to you about some of the, you know, policy matters and issues like that. But I have to get your insight into the latest developments on the conservative right uh, in America because you are at the heart of this. And for those of you who aren't so focused on this, Josh is not just at the heart of it, but I mean literally in the heat of the battle. Um because Josh and well Megan Kelly seemed to get into a whole ex Twitter uh spat with you uh calling you a snake and I I want to fill people in on what's what happened there with that. Um, but before I do, just for a bit of context, I have felt with Megan Kelly that she someone someone described her as the launderer of the launderer, meaning Tucker Carlson is someone that laers uh evil bad views like a Nick Fuentes and whatever. And then Megan Kelly has been playing this role of the launderer of the launderer, you know, defending Tucker, defending Candace Owens, saying, "Guys, you know, why are we fighting? Why are we doing all of that?" And a lot of people said, you know, well, you know, she just maybe just doesn't understand what's going on, blah, blah, blah. And I thought, no, this is this is her job. She has to understand what's going on in number one. And number two, it's very very well for you want to say, yeah, unity, unity. But then she attacks Mark Levvin and attacks Ben Shapiro and there's a clear double standard there and falsely attacks Ben Shapiro. well, wrongly attacked Ben Shapiro when he said that insinuated that Candace has been suggesting that uh Erica Kirk is involved in uh the most disgraceful accusation, a grieving widow that um you know Erica Kirk was involved in Charlie's assassination and she's just been feigning ignorance and all that kind of stuff. And so I just felt no no I'm not I'm not having any of this. Megan Kelly is clearly not acting in bad faith. She seems to be playing a similar game to Candace what Candace is doing just cynically looking for more clicks and more views. Anyway, sorry for this long rambling introduction, but to get to where Josh fits into this. Um, she just seemed she's in a conversation with Dave Smith, the comedian turned uh Israel uh Palestine expert um who uh said uh that called you a snake, Josh, because after uh you did this debate with uh with him that Charlie Kirk moderated. And then Megan herself said, "I promoted Josh Hammer's very crappy podcast for him many times." which by the way, having listened to many of Josh's episodes, taken from me, it's a fantastic podcast. And then after literally I said nothing anti-Semitic, even arguably anti-semitic, and based on everything I just told you guys, she I'm not calling her an anti-semite, but she is uh laundering and helping people who are pedalling anti-semitism and playing double standards. Um he's one of the first out there attacking me. So he she calls you a snake and then you uh responded rightly and said, "Ironically, platforming platforming the exec smith like this proves my entire point. One pies those with the spine of a jellyfish and the courage of a weasel." Many people have been saying this. Erin Mulland said uh she's not showing uh uh courage right now. She's showing cowardice. Megan then goes totally into, you know, just juvenile territory. How's your podcast going? Oh, wait. which to me just reveals what's motivating her and uh then again just attacks you. So Josh, sorry for that very very long intro, but I wondered if you could help break down what's going on from the inside and help us understand all this because I just find it extremely disturbing and depressing. >> Uh Ali, great to join you again. A wonderful show and it's always a pleasure to join you and and before I go any further, I want to wish you a happy Hanukkah as well. Hanukkah Seyaka, it's it's an amazing holiday. I I personally love the holiday of Hanukkah. My my Hebrew name is actually Yoshua Binyamin Makabi Makabe. So the Hanukkah holiday is actually very close to my heart and I hope that you and your whole family are having a wonderful holiday. And and I I said that mostly just to wish you a happy holiday, but also as a bit of a transition because because the Hanukkah holiday, my my wife and I were actually in Washington DC for a fairly quick trip. We we flew up just for an overnight trip to attend both the the the vice president, Vice President JD Vance's Hanukkah party at the Naval Observatory where he lives, as well as the the White House Hanukkah party with President Trump the day after. And I thought of this when you were talking about how I'm very much kind of in the heart of the storm in the belly of the beast here because the number of times that that someone came up to me at the at these two receptions to say, "Oh man, like you're getting it so hard, you know, how are you holding up there?" you know, it beca it became something of a of a laugh line, you know, for for my wife and I. I think I think by the end of the evenings, my wife was kind just laughing when someone would say that because it was it was just so, you know, so incessant. And you know, look, I mean, I I I I don't particularly mind that, Ollie. Let me let me let me just say that first and foremost. If anything, you mentioned Ben Shapiro and Mark Leven, who are who are both good friends of mine. I mean, when folks like Candace Owens and and Nick Fuentes start ranting about Mark Leven, Ben Shapiro, and Josh Hammer, I I mean, as someone who is much younger and newer to the game than Mark and Ben, who has a smaller platform than Mark and Ben, it's really flattering, frankly, to be put in the same conversation as people like Mark and Ben. So, there's, you know, there's an element actually of of just being flattered and and I guess kind of just raising of of profile and stature that for better or for worse is kind of part of this there. So, that's anyway how I view it. So, it's not it's not necessarily the end of the world. The the Megan thing kind of getting to to the crux of your of of your comments there. The Megan thing it's hard to know where to begin here. So, first of all, I you know, I I was a frequent guest on Megan Kelly's show after October 7th. Megan Kelly had me on pretty frequently for a while there. We had at least one or two very deep dive conversations. I one conversation that really sticks out within the first couple weeks of October 7th. We went really deep. She had me on I think for over an hour. We covered every aspect of the story and she's sitting there seems so genuine and caring. You could you could see or at least I thought I saw the emotion on her face. Yeah. It turns out that this woman is just an actor that that that she's ultimately just in it for her own clicks and for her own own audience. And the fool frankly retrospects Ali is me. The fool is that I believe that she was genuine and caring when she very clearly was actually none of these things whatsoever. because a as has been made increasingly obvious over the past yearish, but especially in the past, let's call it 3 to 6 months, she is hardcore hardcore. Well, above all, she's on team Megan Kelly. Above all, she is on team Megan Kelly is the is is the queen of of the American right, which by the way is kind of curious because Megan Kelly views herself now these days as hardcore MAGA. She views herself as, you know, she's adopted this this kind of badass persona as someone who lets a lot of f-bombs fly in her serious XM show and she's trying to prove her her bonafitas as being hardcore. She says a lot of very hardcore edgy things on the transgender issue. Well, you know, once upon a time, Megan Kelly, after leaving Fox for NBC News, she I saw this clip recently of her bringing on a bunch of teenagers who who said that they were transitioning and they were transgender teenagers, and Megan Kelly has on this this whole fawning conversation, praising them for the courage. So, she's she's just a total fraud. I I mean, she's the very first thing to say about Megan. Kelly is that she's simultaneously outrageously selfrandizing a full of herself while just being something of an ideological fraud. She was never this this vanguard of the American rights that she views herself as. And she increasingly has gotten really really close by her own admission to Tucker Carlson and Candace Owens. Just hold on a second before we continue with this video. I have a really important message I need you to see. Please, please partner with us in shining the light of Jewish ideas and the truth about Israel to the entire world. That in my mind is the ultimate solution to all of this. Thank you so much. And again, please click below in the link in the video description. I'm so grateful for all of your support. And above all, Ali, what has been what has become increasingly clear, increasingly obvious, is that she has sold her soul. She has sold her soul to Tucker Carlson and Candace Owens. presumably a at first blush because they have very large shows which they unfortunately they do but it's actually even e even even darker than that. Okay, this is about a week after this this is like three months ago. This is like a week after Charlie's horrific murder. So just over the past few months, she's she's gone from really warming up the Tucker Candace to going all the way in to the to the extent that she is lying when she when she says that Ben Shapiro, you know, inaccurately said that Candace was blaming Erica Kirk. No, Candace was blaming Erica Kirk. I mean, she was blaming me. She was blaming Mikey McCoy, Andrew Co. She's been blaming a lot of people for what happened to Charlie when in reality, the person responsible for killing Charlie Kirk is Tyler Robinson. From from what I can tell, essentially, period, full stop. End of story. But Megan has made a calculated decision because one, she sees these large shows, Tucker and Candace, and I guess she thinks, you know, licking her finger, sticking in the wind, she thinks that's where the momentum is going. very similar to Matt Gates on One American News and various others as well, which is not necessarily an accurate assessment, by the way, as we recently saw from this other study that came out from NC, the new contagion research institute, the New Jerseybased social research organization, showing that a large percentage of Nick Fuendes' followers are actually Pakistani bots. So, these folks that think they're playing these folks that think they're playing the clicks and algorithms are actually misread situation. But let's hold that aside for now. The I think the single most damning thing to say about Megan Kelly and the reason that I called for the dictionary definition of a coward is this. I mentioned a source earlier. Um another source confided me in this that Megan Kelly actually admitted that what that she knows and this kind of follows on what I said a few minutes ago. She knows that what Tucker and Candace are currently saying is bat crap insane. Truly insane. But the reason that she refuses to call it out categorically, any of it, is because she is afraid of their followers. She apparently is utterly mortified. She has convinced herself that if she speaks up and speaks the truth, that she will become the next Charlie Kirk, tragically getting a bullet in the neck. And last I checked, Ali, the literal dictionary definition of a coward, although far be it for an American to tell an Englishman what the English language means. But the literal definition of of a coward, last I checked, is someone who has a moral sense as to what the truth is and then simultaneously refuses to act upon that truth or to recognize the truth as such because you are afraid of the consequences of doing so. That is the literal definition of cowardice. And Megan Kelly is the literal definition of a coward. She is not a a a a a neonazi uh sympathizer, disseminator, propagandist like Candace Owens. She is not necessarily a vicious old school country club anti-semite like Tucker Carlson, a World War II historian. No, she's just a a a raw rank opportunist who doesn't have the the the moral fiber of of an adultrain 12-year-old and is all about the clicks, all about the downloads, and is ultimately above all, as I said repeatedly, just a coward. So when she said to uh Ben Shapiro, you know, well, I'm not aware of what Candace said about Erica, that sounds quite suspicious given that what your source said that she was following what Candace was saying from the start. She's a liar. She She's absolutely a liar. She knew exactly what Candace Owens was saying. I I I literally I I can't reveal a source. I have seen the text message with the time stamp. It was a week after Charlie's assassination. Megan admitting to the source of mine that what Candace Owens was saying about Charlie Kirk was nuts. So when she says that she didn't see what Candace Owens was saying to Ben Shapiro, she is lying. She is lying out of out out of her rear end. And it's disgraceful. It is absolutely positively disgraceful. By the way, I I I neglected to mention another thing that she got just just hilariously wrong. So she's talking so so in a couple those those posts you showed me she referred to my quote unquote crappy podcast and she also mentioned like in this kind of deeply juvenile kind of Lindsay Lohan mean girlses esque fashion. How's your podcast going? So Megan Kelly who who is a midwood IQ at best I think doesn't actually understand that for a while I was hosting two podcast. She's actually not even talking, Olly, about my current show, the Josh Hammer Show, which recently we signed this distribution agreement between Newsweek and Salem Media, major conservative media podcast and radio company there. She's Thank you. I appreciate that. She's not even talking about that show, though. What she's talking about is this other show that I briefly hosted for about a year. It was a short shortterm show uh called America on Trial. It was a legal show with a company called Red Seed Ventures, which is the company that does her show and Tucker's show. And yes, they had asked me on her show to promote that show because it was the same parent company. That show no longer exists because it was a show about the 2024 presidential election. It literally phased out. It's no longer relevant there. So, she she has her basic facts wrong. She doesn't even know that I have this other show, let alone that we just signed this big distribution agreement. So, you know, on top of just being cowardly, she also just has basic facts wrong. And as I also said about the candidate stuff, she also happens to be a a a a raging liar on top of all that, >> right? and and then uh she starts talking about what's happening with Candace Owens and Erica Kirk because initially she feigns ignorance about what happens with Candice and then once she finally kind of acknowledges that Candace is starting to accuse Turning Point staffers of being involved insinuating Erica's involvement which by the way I mean who would have predicted that it would turn in this direction since we last spoke I mean we last spoke just I think it was just after Charlie's assassination origin Ally, we had Candice accusing Israel of being involved and now she's turned it on turning point and Erica, I mean, the whole thing is sick and my heart genuinely breaks for for Erica who's already grieving in the not just national international spotlight and I know her personally and I'm sure you do as well. like she's strikes me as a really remarkable uh good person and having to deal with this uh by Candace Owens, the woman that Charlie made great, gave the platform to to basically kickstart her whole career and to betray him like this and the Turning Point team is just it's shocking and but going back to uh Megan and we'll we can touch on Candace in a second. Uh Megan now kind of has waded into the mix and she says that, you know, I care about Erica and I'm really concerned with her and she was I think she's saying that she was somehow involved in helping this recent meeting between Erica and Candace happen. By the way, the meeting in which I kind of feel like was not necessarily a good idea because Erica is acting in good faith, Candace is acting in bad faith. And that's always going to be an issue, right, when you have these meetings. But have a listen to I'm sure you've seen us already to what part a clip of what Megan just said on her podcast. >> So in any event, Candace knows I disagree with her on this. Petty internet people want to turn that into a cat fight between Candace and yours truly, which will fail. She and I actually have only gotten closer over the past couple of months as people try to make me attack her. So off. Okay, >> Josh, your reaction. Yeah, first of all, I mean, Megan loves dropping these fbombs, Ali, which I have to say it's so juvenile. I before we get into the substance, this is I think one of her deeply superficial ways of trying to establish like like hardcore credibility there as as if you have to cuss like a sailor to do this. It's ridiculous. You know, I don't like it when politicians on the left do it. There's been a lot of high-profile Democrats in the campaign trail who who do not exactly give off a strong moral example a and drop a lot of fbombs there. And I call it out when I see it there. I'm going to call it out here, too, because it's it's just not the way that professional broadcasters, podcasters, or anyone involved in the media or communication business should go about doing their job. So, it's frankly just just juvenile behavior from a very cowardly juvenile individual who who again is acting much like Lindsay Lohan in in the movie Mean Girls. Now, a as far as what we're seeing there in this partic in this particular clip. So, the first thing to note there is that she's saying that she got closer to Candace Owens in recent months. So, that actually corroborates my timeline, right? Because I was saying that about a week after Charlie's assassination, Megan was admitting to my source that she knew that what Candace is doing was nuts. So at some point between then and now, it seems that Megan Kelly was Candace Pilt, which is astounding because Candace Owens now spent three months blaming anyone and everyone for fornowledge and/or complicity in Charlie Kirk's murder. And this is this this is what makes Megan Kelly fall in love a new and gain strange new respect for Candace Owens. I mean, was it was it when Candace accused Andrew Culvin and Mikey McCoy of being involved? Was it when Candace Owens accused Erica Kirk of being involved? Was it when she accused me, Josh Hammer of being involved? I mean, the Egyptian Airlines MSAD. I mean, at what point did Megan Kelly decide that, oh my god, this woman is actually not us. She's actually a brave truth teller. I would actually like to know the answer to that. What exactly made Megan Kelly? To be clear, I think you and I both know that it has nothing to do with this and has to do, as I already said, with deeply cynical, self-s serving motivation and utter rank cowardice. She convinced herself that unless she fully went all in for Tucker Canyons that she would be next in the limelight, next in the target there. The crosshairs will be put on her and that it wouldn't end well for her. So that that that is what is actually going on here. But I I mean, who does she think she is? I mean, like, she views herself as as this grand wizard behind the scenes kind of orchestrating and narrating the movement there. This this is not the making Kelly who raised who who rose to prominence at Fox News for you know for the better part of 15 years. She was back then a a broadly speaking non ideological reporter journalist broadcaster who was known for asking really tough questions. It was not that long ago that Megan Kelly was one [snorts] of the moderators of that August 2015 Republican presidential debate where she really got into it with Donald Trump over the whole Rosie O'Donnell. You know, when Trump said Megan Kelly was bleeding from her her whatever, it was a whole big controversy here in the United States just over a decade ago. And Megan Kelly was not viewed as a Sean Hannity. She was not a card carrying kind of, you know, you you know, a conservative talker. She was viewed as kind of a a maybe vaguely center-right person who would ask challenging questions. So now she's re readopting this persona as this hardcore MAGA person who's the who's like the grandmother of the concern movement. And frankly, I mean, I'm kind of sitting here asking you, who the hell do you think you are? I mean, seriously, who the hell do you think you are? You have a a a podcast that gets a lot of clicks, a serious XM show that I suppose gets a lot of listeners. But who who do you think you're fooling exactly? I mean, Ali, my entire social media feed, and maybe this is just Elon Musk algorithms kind of bamboozling me, but my entire social media feed is utterly replete. It is it is filled to the brink with people saying that I'm unfollowing Megan Kelly. I stopped listening to Megan Kelly. where, you know, frankly, Megan Kelly, you know, attacking me in this kind of fashion, you know, bringing on the dimwit Dave Smith and and and calling me a snake. This this this whole thing this whole thing has has if anything, I think exposed Megan Kelly for who she is. And that's what a very prominent uh you know, cable news guest and author said to me actually uh this week. I won't say his name for confidentiality, but he said to me, Josh, you've done you've done a public service by holding up a mirror so that Megan Kelly can look at herself and she will have shame in her soul. She will have shame in her soul and most people out there will now look at her as the self arrandizing clicks chasing. You know, she's ultimately discredit herself more than anyone could hope to. And I've just been honor frankly to play a small role in Megan Kelly discrediting herself. And I don't think there's necessarily an issue with having a bit of a pivot in your style, like going from I'm going to be the nonpartisan questioner to actually I'm going to become more opinion based. I don't mind that. You know, I've changed my style a bit as a presenter over the 10 years of JTV. But I think the key thing is clearly acting disingenuously, clearly self-evidently acting in bad faith, which is what I think you're you're demonstrating. And one of the things again that I just find so uh sickening about this clip is how dare you on the one hand claim that I care deeply about Erica Kirk. And then Erica Kirk has literally said on national television to Candace Owens, I need you to stop. >> And I can assure people that she is not uh now friends with Candace after her event. She's just trying to get her to stop. That's the the point of the meeting. So to then say in the same show that she said today, on the one hand, you know, I care deeply about Erica. On the other hand, I'm going to remain super close to Candace and defending her. It the whole thing just doesn't compute. Yeah. I mean, she's treating Erica Kirk and Candace Owens as equal actors, right? I mean, you know, she she views them as as having their views entitled to to equivalent dignity and that there should be an airing of all sides there. No, I'm sorry, but hard hard no. You have a grieving widow, a mother of two beautiful young children whose world famous husband was just murdered in in gruesome, horrific, deeply public fashion. You have that person on the one hand. On the other hand, you have the Alex Jones of the 21st century. I mean, one of the most unhinged, deranged, mental patient, lunatic, conspiracy theorists in modern internet history. I mean, someone [snorts] who has promoted the most insane things imaginable, who says the most horrific things imaginable about very good faith people, who is is a a a gerblesesque anti-semite in some of the stuff that she has been pedalling for for for years now. I mean, these two these two people are not equivalent. They are simply not entitled to the same airtime there. And I agree with you, Ollie. I I personally think that it was a mistake for Erica Kirk to to dignify Candace Owens in this kind of fashion. The meeting apparently took place in Nashville, Tennessee, which is just utterly perplexing as well, that that Erica would would fly to Tennessee essentially due to Candace's own turf. Look, I I I can't tell a grieving widow what to do. If she thinks this is the best thing, then I I I I obviously very much respect that decision. >> She's a peace. >> Certainly, >> she's a peace. Uh she's a peaceer and and Megan Kelly is a clout chaser. And the fact that Me Kelly is now promoting her alleged role in making this whole thing happen. Again, she's just trying to to basically present herself kind of as the most important person in the room, which again to kind of stick to our theme of the show is very kind of Lindsay Lohan and Mean Girls-esque. And briefly, just because I don't want to talk about it much because it's her show is so nonsensical, but um you know, since we've spoken, Candace has been throwing out all these ridiculous conspiracy theories, as you say, with like random bits of truth and misinformation, throwing it together, and just wait till the next episode, guys. And I knew that the meeting with Erica would just be utilized to create more content, which indeed she did. And then she starts talking about these Egyptian planes, which I I can't figure out what on earth she's trying to actually say wi with this point. But just briefly, if you could just give me a bit of your uh sense of what Candace has been saying and, you know, why people need to be less impressed by it. Well, I mean, I don't even know where to begin. I mean, she's basically moved on to a different conspiracy theory seemingly on a weekly basis. Ali, I guess the last time you and I spoke, she had not yet turned her her her particularly noxious eye towards yours truly. This happens right around the time of Sukkot, right around the time that I was turning my phone off for 49 hours there and I turned my phone back on and saw that Candace had done a whole episode about me. Actually, uh she she she took a tweet of mine outrageously out of context. a tweet that was that that was that was that was calling for the execution of of the murderer of Ireina Zerutka, the Ukrainian refugee who was brutally slaughtered on on a light light rail car in Charlotte, North Carolina. Candace took that tweet of mine said that Josh Hammer was actually foreshadowing the murder of of of Charlie Kirk. I mean, it's it's so stupid that you know, it just makes the mind real, right? Well, >> it's not just stupid. It's evil. It's labeling you as being complicit. >> It is evil. It's absolutely evil. and and and and when when deranged lunatics say these kind of things, Ali, there are real world consequences. So, for instance, in October, they did arrest individual who was living in suburban Houston, Texas from for issuing online death threats against me and a few others. And if you look at this individual who only only has like 25 followers and ex or whatever, it's not really the point. If you look at all the accounts he he follows, he only follow he followed fewer than 10 accounts. One of them was Candace Owens. Okay? I mean, it's not very hard to figure out what's going on here. I mean, Candace Owens is is is stirring up and instigating and riing people up to to to try to commit horrific acts of of violence against the people that she puts in in her crosshairs. But it didn't stop in this particular case with me. She moved on to various people on the Turning Point USA staff very much including Mikey McCoy, the very young chief of staff and close friend of Charlie Kirk. Mikey's father, Pastor Rob McCoy, was Charlie's spiritual mentor for many, many years. is a very very good man. I I I I know I know Pastor Rob de decently well. And then she moved on to try to to try to talk about Erica herself. And it's just awful. Just just absolutely absolutely awful. And you know, look, Ali, when there's an unsolved case, like an actually unsolved case, I I think it's entirely legitimate indeed. It's it's proper to to ask questions. I mean, if if if there's no one charged yet and if there's someone maybe he's been charged, the evidence is very flimsy, let's start asking questions. But every single piece of evidence we have ever seen about this particular case, indicates that Tyler Robinson, the man currently in custody, was the person who pulled the trigger, was the person who acted on his own, and was the person who who tragically slaughtered Charlie Kirk. There is no reason to try to to instigate brain rot, which by the way is actually what's happening here. I mean, like when you when you look at Candace Owens, when you look at Tucker Carlson, all all these individuals, Megan is slightly different here. I think she's just a pure clout chaser. But some of these people are are deliberately trying to make brains rot. They are literally trying to lower IQs and trying to fan the flames of of every not even particularly viable or plausible conspiracy theory on the face of the earth. And it is done, I think, for purposes of trying to gain market share. They [snorts] they cynically understand that if they make you stupider, then you are probably more likely to go listen or watch their program there. But it's evil. It's evil because the point of journalism, the point of commentary, the point of broadcasting, podcasting, all this stuff. The point of all of this should ideally be to elevate the conversation, to inform, to intelligently opine, to try to lead people to to arrive at their own conclusions. Ultimately, in pursuit of the truth, which is the foremost goal of of of politics, of media, of of everything here, these people unfortunately have the exact opposite goal, and it's nothing short of tragic. And uh you mentioned that you were at the JD Vance, vice president JD Vance Hanukkah event and uh I actually wanted to talk about JD uh Vance. There's a there's a clip here of him at the Hanukkah event and really interesting to know that you were there in person. Um and the reason I want to mention JD is because I have just as I you know felt a while back about Megan Kelly. I'm not comparing him to Megan Kelly, but I feel like I'm starting to see see some little glimmers, some little indicators that he is pandering to this uh groper type alt-right uh anti-Israel part of the right. And there's a number of reasons why I'll say that, but on the exact same day of this Hanukkah event, he put out a tweet uh highlighting a relatively small ex account in comparison to him, just with a few about 70,000 followers. And he's done this before, by the way, highlighting another issue, which we'll mention. Um I don't know if you saw this, but basically the tweet was saying how uh youth in America are becoming increasingly anti-semitic. Now he said um to write an article about the generational divide in anti-semitism without discussing the demographics of the various generations is mindboggling. Now presumably what he's trying to say there is talk about the Muslim demographic, the rising level of hatred from immigrants that are coming to America from uh cultures that are outside of America. Fair enough. And you know I don't think either of us would would disagree with that and maybe would appreciate that point. But it's glossing over a fact that I have no doubt he knows very well which is rising due hate on the conservative right pedled by people like Tucker and Candies and Fuentes and others. And then a Groper type account said actually white conservative zoomers don't really like Israel anymore either JD. He says I would say there's a difference between not liking Israel or disagreeing with the given Israeli policy and anti-semitism. Now I'm sorry but I know he knows what's happening on the right. must know and the kind of dislike of Israel is not just genuine uh sensible uh you know I disagree with that particular policy kind of reasonable within an Overton window. It is Israel's committing genocide which is basically delegitimizing their right to self-defense which is delegitimizing Israel's right to live and Jews right to live. It is uh classic age-old anti-semitic tropes. And so, and it's not the first time he did this before with another uh accounts that he highlighted where they were another account was saying uh I think Tucker Carlson's son was working for JD and he was saying uh you know, how dare you attack him? All that kind of stuff. And it's like, okay, you you can make that point, but why aren't you uh if you're going to highlight an account with 45,000 followers, why aren't you highlighting the fact that Tucker Carlson, your friend you interviewed with, uh has uh recently interviewed Nick Fuentes without challenging him in the way he challenges others? And Fuentes is someone that has racially attacked JD's own wife. So, do you sh and there's plenty of other instances I can talk about as well. Do you share that same concern that I and others have? Ali, this is this is a sticky topic because I I I I've known JD for for years. In fact, I actually was a pretty early booster of his for for the vice presidency. I actually wrote a column in March 2024 advocating Vice President JD Vance. This would have been about four months, I guess, prior to Donald Trump selecting him. And and indeed, it was actually two to two and a half months after I wrote that column in May 2024, back when he was still senator Vance, before he was even tapped, JD gave a a a fantastic speech on this exact issue on US relations, etc. really in in the belly of the beast. He went into the Quincy Institute which is a Koch Sorosf funded pro-Iran essentially an Iranian regime outpost in Washington DC and he went there into a conference they were hosting and gave a very very very good speech on US Israel relations. It was basically kind of speech almost verbatim frankly that I would have given. So I I I I was I was really quite happy at that time. I think the relevant question is what if anything has changed since then? And it's not inappropriate, I think, to be just asking questions, as the case may be, about this. There indeed have been a a a number of of somewhat troubling or at least less than fully comforting incidents. So he was at the lecturing during that Turning Point USA event at Miss in Oxford, Mississippi. And there was a a a a groper clearly an anti-semitic questioner, a college student there. And his answer at that time in response was was less than fully encouraging. I suppose let's say uh there are a number of uh of Jewish accounts or or Jewish adjacent accounts on X that he has singled out for for for excoriation and for and for his irey. For instance, he has singled out Park McDougall, who was an excellent journalist working for Tablet Magazine. Park himself is not Jewish. Tablet magazine is a a Jewish aligned or Jewishoriented publication. So, he had a bizarre kind of dunk on Park [snorts] a few months ago. He's singled out the Jewish Insider, which is a a a Jewish publication. He's singled them out. >> He he he more recently singled out Sloan Rakmouth, who is a a Jewish conservative journalist and commentator with an even smaller following than the individual. Interesting. Yeah. >> Yep. He's gone into it with Ezra Leavant, who is the head of Rebel News, a very one of the most prominent Jewish conservatives, maybe like the most prominent Jewish conservative in Canada. So, he's done this number of times now. Uh, this this particular back and forth you're pointing out here with Sarah Stock, who is a white supremacist. She has said absolutely horrific things about me. Terrible. She she is a pure Fentis Groper fan girl. Uh to me the most discomforting part about that that exact tweet is if you look at the time stamp it was 7:16 Eastern time on Monday evening. Well, I know exactly what I was doing at 7:16 p.m. Eastern time. I was literally standing out in the cold with my wife waiting to get into the Hanukkah party at his home at his at the neighbor. So when we when we were all standing outside in the cold waiting to get into his home for the Hanukkah party, he was tweeting with this white supremacist. So okay, I mean that's not that's not a great look. I think would be a very polite way of saying it. Now, the tweet at face value, at face value, you know, not liking given Israeli policy is not anyism. Okay, fine. I mean, I obviously I agree with that. I presume you agree with that. We all agree with that. That's not that's not exactly saying a whole lot. The the problem seems to me to be that there is something of a refusal to acknowledge the elephant in the room here when it comes to this when it comes to a recent interview that he gave with NBC News where where where he says that anti-semitism in the Republican party today is not any different than it was 10-15 years ago there. But on you know simultaneously on the other hand he maintains his very close relationship with Tucker Carlson. In fact, uh the the first show uh the first Charlie Kirk show episode after I forgot whether it was after Charlie's murder or after his funeral, but but JD Vance actually guest hosted the Charlie Kirk show. And the only non-government official he brought on as a guest that day when he was when he was hosting the Charlie Kirk show was Tucker Carlson. And yeah, >> he has continued uh to defend Tucker. And that is also discomforting because Tucker Carlson has now well established himself as the most dangerous anti-semite in the United States today and possibly the most dangerous anti-semite in American history. In fact, I would say he actually probably is exactly that. >> So I do not think I do not think that it is unreasonable at all for for for Jewish Americans to be asking all sorts of questions about all that I have just said. And I I I I will say this. I will go even further and say Aliia having attended both the vice president's Hanukkah party this week as well as the White House Hanukkah party. I think the mood was somewhat different at those two parties. Uh Donald Trump was touching and moving and joyous and happy when he spoke at at at the White House on Tuesday when when I was there and everyone was just deeply rockous and celebratory there. The the mood was somewhat more more unsettled, I think, uh for a lot of folks that I spoke with at the vice president's party that there was something of an elephant in the room that was simply simply not being addressed. So look, do I think that JD Vance is has an anti-Semitic bone in his body? As is often said, no. Absolutely not. Period. Full stop. End of story. Many of his many of his senior staffers in his current office are Jewish. I happen to know numerous of them personally. And I've had very fine relations with JD. I've known him for a number of years now. I I don't think he's anti-Semitic in the slightest. [snorts] But he's going to have to make some sort of decision. He's going to have to make some sort of decision as to whether or not just he's going to take a stand against the world's most ancient form of bigotry. I I think he also should take a stand and far be for me to give marital advice, but I I think you mentioned here I mean, you know, Nick Fuentes and the Gropers there, they they've said the most disgusting things about the second lady, about Ushave Vance, who was a beautiful, wonderful woman there. You know, they've called JD a race traitor for marrying her. It's the most horrific stuff imaginable there. So, if there is an attempt to to try to not fan the flames, but at least at least try to ignore the groer elf into the room, if that is indeed happening, not only is is it is it immoral on its own terms, and not only is it not going to redown to political success for the very simple reason that most decent Americans want nothing to do with Nazis. So, not only is it immoral and not going to be politically successful, you know, if nothing else, I would think that someone in in in this marriage, you know, would would have a particular interest, you know, in taking a robust stand there. So, for all these reasons, I am still holding out some optimism that that that something something is going to change to try to reassure a lot of folks who are looking at what you're looking at and what many others are looking at there. But I don't know exactly what form or shape that would would look like. And I also don't know in what timeline it might come. So that that's kind of my very vague conclusion is that these are these are wholly legitimate questions. And I I you know, Donald Rumsfeld used to joke about kind of the the known knowns and the known unknowns. You know, this for me is somewhat of a known unknown. I know that I don't actually know exactly what's going to happen. >> I don't want a lot for Kaneka. There's actually just one thing that I need. I don't care about the donuts underneath the Khaneka monora. I just want you, my dear viewers, more than you could ever imagine, to partner with me in shining the light [music] of Jewish values and the truth of Israel to the world. Make my wish come true by clicking the link in the video [music] description and donating to our annual campaign fundraiser. Thank you so much. [bell] Right. Right. And for but for me the thing is that I feel like he's not just ignoring I and I agree with you. I'm sure he's not well I assume he's not necessarily anti-Semitic in his heart but it seems to me there's some level of pandering some level of playing this game because he needs to think about politics. That would be my guess from the outside. And um precisely as you say you have to make a choice at some point. And this notion that if I pander that's the only way that I can keep people on side. think actually no, you have to show moral leadership and moral clarity and that's the way you lead and actually you can sway a lot of people that way. That's not you don't deal with a rebellious kid by pandering to them. You give them clear guidelines on what's right and what's wrong. Um Josh, do you have time for one very last final question or do you need to head off? >> Sure thing. Sure thing. >> Okay. So, uh just wanted to talk a bit about Trump as well because you mentioned the the atmosphere there at the Trump uh party. Now look, there's no doubt that Trump has been unprecedented in his support of Israel and the Jewish people. There have been and you know we all know the the list of things that we can talk about on that front but uh you know without losing any of that gratitude there has been some concern recently by some on the conservative pro-Israel side um of his um let's say cozying up to people like Alshara to Erdigan the Syrian leader to Erdigan the Turkish leader who is um you know some saying they might become like Iran in terms of their role against Israel um you arming the Saudis with sophisticated weaponry and um you know appeasing Qatar uh the imposing of a unilateral ceasefire on Israel even though of course there were some benefits but there's some grave concerns about uh you know the the agreement just wonder what your thoughts are on all those developments recently. >> Yeah. So Qatar has way too much influence on this administration. Okay. I mean period full stop end of story. uh that that is something that that that is one of the biggest differences between this administration and the last Trump administration. So the last Trump administration, you know, in its very early months, it it was June 2017 that the non-Islamist Arab states in the Gulf, namely Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Bahrain, they they announced a full diplomatic and economic boycott of Qatar. Trump himself was actually very sympathetic to that boycott. He ultimately was taught out of it by Rex Tillerson, his then secretary of state. But he was very very very anti-Qatar actually for most of most of his first term. That that that has been a pronounced difference between the first term and the second term. And I find that troubling. I find that troubling because Qatar is a deeply problematic actor because they are the definition of a duplicitous regime that they give off the the trappings the the external imagery of being a quote unquote ally. They they like to launder the fact that they host Aluda Air Base, the largest American military base in the Middle East. They like they like to tout the fact that they splurge on these lavish junkets and and and they host all these lavish sporting events like the World's Cup in 2022. But simultaneously, they're funding all sorts of Islamism. They've been linked to everyone from al-Qaeda to ISIS. They're the top bankrollers of Hamas, the spiritual and ideological and financial home of the Muslim Brotherhood. And it it it's all just very troubling, frankly, there. And yes, I think that that that the way the administration is Molly coddling al-Shara in in Syria, formerly known as Al Galani, if I'm not mistaken, Ali, I think I think his name was Al Galani because when he was a parapotetic al-Qaeda jihadist, Galani was actually a reference to the Golan. It was actually his way of trying to kind of that was kind of his his war name, his gnome degalani. Yeah. Because he wanted to get the Golan back for Syria. So I mean Wow. I I mean I mean I mean this guy is actually an al-Qaeda jihadist in a suit, right? So I I I that's that's definitely I I I think how the Israelis view him. And I I've been really given no indication that it's anything other than that. Uh this most recent atrocity with an with with an with an ISIS an ISIS jihadist murdering two US soldiers in Syria, the first US servicemen deaths in Syria in six years. You know, that definitely is not going to quill any concerns either there. So it is it is all slightly troubling for sure. The Qatar in particular was very troubling to me. This this new massive 747 that would that that was gifted there. I mean talk about a Trojan horse. I on the other hand on the other hand Trump remains fervently fervently pro-Israel. I mean when I heard him speak Ali at the White House earlier this week there this is a man who clearly loves the Jewish people clearly loves Israel. There there is just no doubt about that in my mind whatsoever. And he also maintains very close ties to some of the non-Muslim Brotherhood, some of the non-Islamist countries in the Middle East there. He's very he's very close with with Muhammad bin Salman and Saudi Arabia where the Muslim Brotherhood is banned as a terrorist organization. He's certainly very close with the Emiratis in Dubai and Abu Dhabi as well. They similarly have banned the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organization. So ultimately I I I ultimately I don't think that he has, you know, Islamist or Muslim Brotherhood sympathies there. I think that he's a very transactional real estate, you know, driven figure who views these Arab countries as as potential economic partners on all all sorts of ventures there. Now, Tucker Carlson is probably a very different story. I mean, Tucker Carlson who's, you know, interviewing the Amir Qatar twice, most recently at the Doha forum with within the past week and a half or so there, who's talking about buying a house in Qatar, that that's a very different story. Okay, there's something probably quite a bit quite a bit different going on there. But when it comes to Trump himself, I I I don't think there's any kind of, you know, ideological sympathy there. I think that he is kind of becoming just just a very transactional businessman. But unfortunately, you know, I do think that they they would be wiser to kind of keep their distance from Qatar. And to me, that kind of Qatari Muslim Brotherhood influence is really doing a lot of work when it comes to other peripheral issues in the region such as Alshara and Syria as well. >> Fascinating. Josh, as ever, thank you so much for your incredible insight and wisdom. That's greatly appreciated by myself and our viewers and uh just keep up the great work uh and look forward to future conversations together. >> Ali, God bless you once again, my friend >> on JTV, the uh global Jewish channel with a host named Ali. >> Well, when even she's talking about you, you know you're having an impact.
