A member of a 92-person group chat went rogue and exposed a coordinated effort to attack Candace Owens over her investigation into Charlie Kirk's death. The whistleblower, using the handle Shady Lady Katie, revealed that the group shared information, conducted background checks, reported accounts, and even distributed Owens' home address. The chat was named "Protecting Mrs. Kirk," revealing its apparent purpose to defend Erika Kirk against scrutiny.
According to Owens, the group was organized by someone she identifies as an agent of Israel who previously hosted spaces on X and admitted to gathering intelligence and collaborating with Green Berets. This same person allegedly worked with a DailyWire+ employee and the Gaza Humanitarian Fund, then run by Johnny Moore, to create files on people for Israel's PR purposes.
Questions About Erika Kirk's Media Strategy
Owens raises concerns about Erika Kirk inviting influencers into the courtroom, arguing this doesn't inspire confidence in the truthfulness of her claims. She notes that these influencers have repeatedly lied to their audiences and continue to do so despite being caught. Furthermore, she points out that Turning Point USA, the organization Erika Kirk took over after her husband's death, is contracting and platforming people whose full-time job appears to be attacking Owens and lying about the investigation.
Foreign Operative Accusations
Owens received a message from Charlie Spearing of the Daily Mail claiming that sources believe she is being used by foreign operatives sending misinformation through her tip line as part of a broader network. Owens rejects this characterization entirely, questioning what information presented in her investigation could possibly have come from foreign operatives. She asks whether the rooftop video, pictures from inside the car, or other evidence she's exposed came from such sources.
Instead, Owens describes a real network of people dedicating their time to learning what happened to Charlie Kirk. She states she doesn't coordinate with 92 operatives or any operatives at all, but simply works with her team, looks for information, and occasionally reaches out to others who care about the case, such as Baron Coleman, to compare notes on what they've found.
The Underlying Tensions
Owens suggests that deep down, many people sense that the state murdered Charlie Kirk, and that this must have had Trump's permission since he's doing nothing to get to the bottom of what happened to his friend who helped get him elected twice. She also mentions sensing Israel's involvement in the case.
The coordinated group includes accounts with names like Milk Bar TV, No Soup for Nolles, Paramount Not So Tactical, Bria Dale, Fake Catholic, and Insurrection Barbie, among others. Owens notes that while not everyone in the chat actively participated, with some just lurking, the existence of such a coordinated effort is telling.
Growing Desperation
Owens characterizes the coordinated attacks and accusations of foreign operative involvement as signs of growing desperation. She states that those behind these efforts know that she knows the truth, and they're becoming increasingly manic in their attempts to discredit her investigation. Despite calls for FBI raids and other interventions, Owens maintains that the truth about Charlie Kirk's betrayal is inevitable and cannot be spun away.
