Candace Owens Investigates Charlie Kirk Assassination After Erika Kirk's Powerful Forgiveness Speech and Kash Patel Statement

Categories: Investigation
September 22, 2025

Candace Owens continues her investigation into the events surrounding Charlie Kirk's assassination, analyzing inconsistencies in the official narrative while reflecting on Erika Kirk's extraordinary speech calling for forgiveness. As Kash Patel issues a statement acknowledging public pressure to investigate key questions, Owens examines ballistics concerns, timeline discrepancies, and underground infrastructure at the Utah Valley University site. She also addresses attacks from Zionist activists, defends her long friendship with Charlie Kirk, and reveals his own struggles with donor pressure over Israel criticism in the months before his death.

Erika Kirk's Message of Forgiveness Moves the Nation

Candace Owens opens by reflecting on the powerful speech delivered by Erika Kirk, in which she called for forgiveness for the person who killed her husband, Charlie Kirk. Owens describes the speech as potentially the most consequential in American history, noting that Erika's message of complete submission to Christ and forgiveness came despite overwhelming grief. The most meaningful part of the speech for Owens was when Erika explained that Charlie did not suffer, that he simply blinked while doing what he loved and then saw his savior in paradise.

Owens shares her personal connection to the couple, recalling when Charlie first introduced her to Erika at Del Frisco's in New York City. She emphasizes that while forgiveness is essential to the Christian faith, there is also a responsibility to truth, which is equally part of Christ's message.

Growing Questions About the Official Narrative

Owens announces she is working on a minute-by-minute timeline of what happened in the seconds and minutes following Charlie Kirk's shooting. She expresses skepticism about the official story, particularly regarding ballistics and forensic evidence. She reveals that footage she reviewed showed no blood at the scene behind where Charlie was shot, only on his left hand, suggesting the blood moved forward rather than backward.

Andrew Kolvet, Turning Point USA spokesperson, issued a statement explaining that a surgeon said the bullet "absolutely should have gone through" given it was a high-powered, high-velocity round, but that Charlie's bone density was so impressive it stopped the bullet just beneath the skin, preventing it from hitting people standing behind him. Owens questions this explanation, viewing it as an appeal to Christian audiences to accept a miracle rather than demanding forensic clarity.

Alex Jones and Ballistics Experts Question the Story

Alex Jones responded publicly to the statement, pointing out that a 30-06 round traveling at approximately 1,900 feet per second at 200 yards should have created catastrophic damage. He shared his own hunting experience, describing how such rounds create massive exit wounds even through large animals. Owens notes that many hunters and firearms experts in the conservative base have similar concerns about the ballistics explanation being offered.

Kash Patel Responds to Public Pressure

FBI Director Kash Patel issued a comprehensive statement acknowledging the investigation would pursue every lead, including examining the location from where the shot was taken, the possibility of accomplices, text message confessions, Discord chats, the angle of the shot and bullet impact, weapon transportation, hand gestures observed as potential signals, and visitors to the alleged shooter's residence. Owens views this as a capitulation to online investigators who have been raising questions the FBI initially ignored.

Patel also addressed questions about a plane that allegedly turned off its transponder after departing from an airport near the assassination site. He claimed the transponder was not turned off and that incomplete flight data in rural areas caused the apparent gap. However, Owens points out this contradicts a statement from the plane owner, Derek Maxfield, who said they received permission from air traffic control to turn off services.

Underground Infrastructure at the Scene

Owens reveals new research into the physical location where Charlie Kirk was shot. She discovered there was a massive pipeline almost exactly behind where he was sitting, along with what witnesses described as trap doors providing access to underground infrastructure. She theorizes that investigators should explore whether someone could have shot Charlie from beneath him through this underground access, which might explain the lack of an exit wound and the upward trajectory some observers noted.

She notes that the area was repaved within 48 hours of the shooting, which she finds suspicious. Owens calls for investigation of the tunnel network underneath Utah Valley University and where those passages lead.

Attacks from Zionist Activists Intensify

Owens addresses escalating attacks against her from pro-Israel activists, including Laura Loomer, who reported her to the FBI and CIA for selling merchandise parodying the CIA logo. Owens points out this merchandise predated Charlie Kirk's assassination and is clearly protected parody, noting that similar products are widely available on Amazon.

She also responds to attempts to fabricate a falling out between her and Charlie Kirk. Someone released undated text messages showing Charlie discussing pressure on Candace to make specific statements about Israel. Owens explains these messages were from 2023, after she tweeted that "genocide is always wrong" in response to Congressman Brian Mast saying "there's no such thing as an innocent Palestinian life." She describes being threatened that she needed to apologize for the tweet to have her life back, but she refused.

Charlie Kirk's Own Struggles with Pro-Israel Pressure

Owens presents video footage from July 2025, just over a month before Charlie Kirk's death, showing him hosting a townhall on antisemitism with Generation Z students. In the clips, Charlie Kirk clearly states that calling everyone an antisemite for not taking a "puritanical view of the Netanyahu government" is destructive for everybody. He discusses how aggressive tactics are increasing rather than decreasing antisemitism among young people.

In another clip, Charlie Kirk discusses AIPAC with students, including one who is ethnically Jewish and converting to Catholicism. When the student expresses concerns about AIPAC representing interests other than American interests, Kirk agrees, stating he believes only about 20 representatives in the Senate and House are fully doing the work of the American people without being pulled by special interest groups. Kirk explicitly says representatives should not be focusing outside the United States and endorses an America First approach.

Owens notes the danger of these conversations, referencing that a president once suggested the precursor to AIPAC should register under FARA and ended up getting shot in a moving vehicle in broad daylight.

Tucker Carlson's Message on Repentance and Truth

Owens highlights Tucker Carlson's speech at the memorial, where he emphasized that Charlie Kirk's core message was bringing the gospel to the country and calling for repentance. Carlson explained that while politics critiques others and demands they change, Christianity calls upon you to change yourself first. He noted that the Lord's Prayer demands we forgive others, but precedes that with a request for our own forgiveness, making it possible to then forgive others.

Owens agrees with this message while maintaining that her investigation will continue because truth matters. She believes there are more people involved who need to be identified and potentially forgiven, but that truth must come first.

Belief in Internal Betrayal at Turning Point USA

Owens states she believes people within Turning Point USA betrayed Charlie Kirk, though she is waiting to gather complete facts before presenting more information. She expresses relief that Erika Kirk is now at the head of the organization. Owens warns anyone who may have been disloyal to Charlie to "flee now" before more information comes to light.

She concludes by stating she will not stop her investigation unless asked to do so by Erika Kirk, her father, or her husband, because truth matters and she believes they chose the wrong person to take out.
