Candace Owens Exposes Ben Shapiro's Hostility Toward Charlie Kirk and the Fake MAGA Civil War Narrative

Categories: Investigation
November 3, 2025

Candace Owens dismantles the false narrative of a MAGA civil war, revealing how never-Trumpers infiltrated the movement to control its direction. She exposes Ben Shapiro's behind-the-scenes efforts to undermine Charlie Kirk and Turning Point USA in their early days, backed by extensive text message evidence. Owens also addresses the Israel lobby's attempt to posthumously claim Charlie Kirk's legacy, the Jerusalem Post's fabricated story about Erika Kirk accepting an award, and Kash Patel's embarrassing public defense of his girlfriend that undermines America's credibility on the world stage.

The Manufactured MAGA Civil War

The media narrative of a MAGA civil war is a fabrication designed to distract from the real story: never-Trumpers have infiltrated the MAGA movement and are attempting to dictate its terms. Ben Shapiro launched an attack on Tucker Carlson, placing him in what Owens calls an "anti-Tucker montage monologue," using the exact same talking points that Zionists have deployed over the past 48 hours, almost as if scripted.

Meanwhile, Erika Kirk sat down with Jesse Watters for an interview that has already gone viral from preview clips alone. And Kash Patel has become what Owens describes as "the most embarrassing human being in the United States" with a public meltdown on social media.

Lindsey Graham's Loyalty Test at the Republican Jewish Coalition

At the Republican Jewish Coalition, Lindsey Graham directed his anger toward American voters, essentially declaring that anti-Israel sentiment disqualifies someone from being a Republican. Graham stated on stage: "I want the world to know anti-semitism, anti-Israel rhetoric, anti-Israel thought is not the road to being elected as a Republican. You will lose."

According to Graham's standard, even thinking critically about Israel's actions—such as questioning the killing of tens of thousands of children—means you cannot be part of the Republican party. He was joined by Randy Fine, whose rhetoric toward Palestinians has been so extreme that even AIPAC dropped him.

The Dorky "Tucker Carlson Is Not MAGA" Campaign

To demonstrate their point, organizers sent what appeared to be interns to print red signs reading "Tucker Carlson is not MAGA." Young men waved these signs on stage while Randy Fine spoke, comparing Tucker Carlson to Adolf Hitler and calling him "the most dangerous anti-semite in America."

Owens notes the inauthenticity of the messaging, comparing it to Jussie Smollet's "This is MAGA country" claim—something no actual MAGA supporter would say. The coordinated attack on Tucker happens weekly, revealing how threatened they are by someone they cannot control who has become popular across the political spectrum.

Why They Really Hate Tucker Carlson

Zionists cannot stand Tucker Carlson because he is well-liked by both sides of the political aisle and is not controlled by their apparatus. He was fired from Fox for speaking out against the Ukrainian war, with executives believing that firing him would end his career. Instead, Tucker became even bigger and more influential, which they view as requiring justice.

The current tactic involves co-opting Charlie Kirk's legacy. The same individuals who pressured Charlie Kirk in the final days and hours leading up to his assassination—demanding that Tucker be removed from the Turning Point USA stage—are now claiming that Tucker interviewing Nick Fuentes represents a betrayal of his friendship with Charlie.

Candace Owens Debunks the "Betrayal" Narrative

Owens personally debunks this claim with firsthand knowledge. Before Charlie died in July, she interviewed Nick Fuentes and discussed it with Charlie and Andrew Kolvet. Charlie never considered it an act of betrayal. In fact, Owens tried to arrange for Charlie to host Nick Fuentes on his show for a debate, and neither Charlie nor Andrew objected.

The truth is that Charlie believed in free speech and open dialogue. The idea that he would have viewed Tucker's interview with Fuentes as betrayal is completely inconsistent with who Charlie was as a person.

Ben Shapiro's Scripted Attack on Tucker

Ben Shapiro delivered what Owens describes as a scripted attack on Tucker Carlson, using the same talking points about Tucker "betraying" Charlie Kirk. Shapiro showed out-of-context clips of Owens discussing various topics, attempting to paint Tucker as someone who launders dangerous ideas through his platform.

The clips Shapiro showed included Owens discussing how dinosaur bones are predominantly found by experts, how various cultural movements with roots in certain communities have shaped American society, and her statement that if anything happens to her, people should blame Zionists. Owens stands by all of these statements and notes that Shapiro deliberately removed context to misrepresent her views.

The Truth About Ben Shapiro and Charlie Kirk's Relationship

Owens reveals that Charlie Kirk and Ben Shapiro did not actually get along, because Charlie discovered that Ben was working behind the scenes to stop and hinder the growth of Turning Point USA in its early days. Owens has between 80 and 150 text messages from Charlie documenting this fact.

When Charlie confronted Ben about the hostility, Ben cited as one reason that Owens had made a lighthearted joke about him on Joe Rogan's podcast in 2018, where she called him a "hall monitor." Ben told Charlie that Owens was going to "Milo" her career if Charlie didn't distance himself from her.

Charlie stuck with Owens despite Ben's urging. When a producer invited them to appear on Ben's show in June 2018, Owens initially refused, but Charlie convinced her by saying, "We won." In the green room before the appearance, Charlie told Owens he would puff out his chest and stand extra tall in the photo so they would never forget the moment of their triumph over Ben Shapiro—which he did, creating a perfect inside joke between them.

Ben Shapiro Cannot Speak for Charlie Kirk's Friendships

Charlie loved Tucker Carlson and fought for Tucker to be on the Turning Point USA stage until his dying day—literally. Charlie was not in love with Ben Shapiro. He didn't hate Ben either, but he "experienced" Ben, as Owens puts it, and kept things cordial because that was who Charlie was as a person.

Owens refuses to allow an inversion of reality where Ben Shapiro becomes any sort of authority on who is or is not betraying their friendship with Charlie Kirk. After Charlie's death, when Turning Point USA wanted Matt Walsh to host Charlie's show following a moving monologue Walsh delivered, they were told it could not happen unless Ben Shapiro was also invited. Turning Point cordially accepted those posthumous terms.

The Jerusalem Post Fabricates Story About Erika Kirk

The Jerusalem Post published a completely fabricated story claiming that Charlie Kirk would be posthumously honored at Israel's 2025 Christian Media Summit for his "steadfast support of Israel," and that Erika Kirk would accept the award on her husband's behalf.

Andrew Kolvet, spokesperson for Turning Point USA, immediately issued a correction, stating this was the first they had heard of any such award and requesting a correction from the Jerusalem Post. The journalist, Michael Starr, then claimed the Israeli government press office "wavered" on their claims after Turning Point said they were not aware of the award.

Owens characterizes this as Israel doing what Israel does: telling audacious lies, and when caught, gaslighting and pretending they weren't caught with their hands in the cookie jar. The attempt to claim Charlie Kirk's legacy for Israel continues despite mounting evidence that Charlie had serious concerns about Israel's influence in the final days of his life.

Addressing the Questions About Erika Kirk

Many people have asked Owens to address Erika Kirk, but Owens questions what there is to address. Erika has not sat down for a long interview yet. All the public has seen is her speech at Charlie's memorial event.

Owens focuses her investigation on people who are blatantly lying about Charlie Kirk—people like Alex Clark, who lied about the Catholic issue, or Andrew Kolvet and Mikey McCoy, or Rob McCoy. What lie has Erika told that deserves attention? She hasn't claimed Charlie never had issues with Israel or that he loved Israel to his dying breath.

Erika is sitting down with Jesse Watters, someone Charlie loved who gave Turning Point significant airtime on Fox News in the early days. She's also reportedly joining Megyn Kelly on tour—another person who Charlie opened up to in the end and who stood firm on telling the truth about the pressure Charlie was under.

Owens stated early on that if Erika Kirk asked her to be quiet, she would be quiet. Erika hasn't asked that. Erika is also the mother of Charlie Kirk's children, and without evidence of lies, attacking her does not feel appropriate.

Erika Kirk's Interview Preview and Unsolicited Advice

One clip from Erika's interview with Jesse Watters is circulating, where she addresses the defense's request to ban cameras from the courtroom. Erika points out that cameras were all over her husband when he was murdered, all over her friends and family mourning, and all over her analyzing her every move. She believes cameras should be in the courtroom for transparency, stating she has seen what the case is built on and wants everyone to see "what true evil is."

Owens agrees with Erika's sentiment but offers unsolicited advice. First, she would not have advised Erika to go from being a widow to being CEO and chairman of the company during a stage of grieving. An interim CEO should have been put in place to allow time to figure things out, because the CEO will inevitably catch heat for any business decisions, fair or not.

Second, regarding transparency: people don't believe the official story regardless of what's on paper. Within Erika's capacity as chairman and CEO of Turning Point USA, they could be more transparent about what happened that day. People don't like what they've seen about Mikey McCoy, Rob McCoy, the video of Terrel, or the timeline of text messages and phone calls. In areas where transparency is possible without involving the feds, Owens suggests providing it.

The Market Is Always Right

Owens references an expression her husband uses: "The market is always right." Regardless of what executives think they know, the market's reaction is the reality. The market right now is saying they don't believe what happened that day, they don't trust the donors at Turning Point USA, and they want clarity on whether those donors were removed and why there's dancing around the Catholic topic.

Without addressing these concerns, Turning Point USA may not survive. The organization needs to demonstrate that the snakes are out of the garden, because right now it doesn't feel that way.

Kash Patel's Embarrassing Public Meltdown

Kash Patel has become what Owens calls "the most embarrassing human in the United States" for two reasons. First, Charlie Kirk was a big supporter of Kash Patel and pushed for him to get the role of FBI director, yet Patel has been terrible in handling Charlie's case. Everything coming out makes no sense—from impassioned messages supposedly written by a 20-year-old that don't sound Gen Z, to the narrative that cameras are everywhere but nothing can be shown to the public.

Second, Patel made things worse with a tweet defending his girlfriend. After Patel flew on his FBI plane to Nashville to see his girlfriend Alexis and the internet criticized it as inappropriate use of taxpayer funds, Patel responded with what Owens describes as an "Andy Cohen hosting Real Housewives of DC" type tweet.

Patel wrote about being proud of the FBI's work, then stated: "The disgustingly baseless attacks against Alexis, a true patriot, and the woman I'm proud to call my partner in life are beyond pathetic. She is a rock solid conservative and a country music sensation who has done more for this nation than most will in 10 lifetimes."

Owens notes that while Alexis seems like a sweet girl, calling her a "country music sensation" is objectively embarrassing. The entire tweet is petty and ridiculous, making Patel look neither masculine nor serious. Owens imagines Vladimir Putin and his colleagues laughing on a group chat about America's FBI director publicly defending his girlfriend on social media.

America Is Not a Serious Nation

This tweet made Owens realize that America is no longer a serious nation and the empire is in decline. She jokingly says she wants to be Russian because at least Putin is a serious person. Could anyone imagine Putin sending such a tweet? Any of his officials would be immediately fired for such behavior.

The American people are supposed to have faith that Patel is emotionally stable enough to handle the investigation into Charlie Kirk's murder after posting such a tweet. Owens suggests that if she were dictator, she would sentence Patel to a month of hard labor for this embarrassing display.

Looking Forward

Owens promises there will be a day when the American people get to stand tall and recognize that they triumphed over the Israel lobby. She encourages people to join her book club where she discusses topics that cannot be covered on YouTube, and reminds viewers about her book "Make Him a Sandwich," which explores where the feminist movement came from, including figures like Emma Goldman.

Tomorrow's episode will jump back into the Charlie Kirk timeline with new factoids, particularly focusing on what happened after Tucker Carlson hit the stage at Turning Point USA events and how things got real interesting for Charlie after that.
