Candace Owens Responds to Erika Kirk's Defense of Turning Point USA After Charlie Kirk Assassination
Candace Owens addresses Erika Kirk's media tour defending Turning Point USA and dismissing conspiracy theories about Charlie Kirk's assassination. Owens challenges Kirk's emotional appeals, questions why she won't answer basic questions about the event, and critiques her leadership of the organization. The confrontation escalates as Kirk defends her staff while Owens demands transparency, arguing that refusing to address legitimate questions only makes the organization appear more suspicious. This clash represents a pivotal moment in the ongoing controversy surrounding Charlie Kirk's death and the future of Turning Point USA.
Candace Owens Takes on Erika Kirk's Media Strategy
Candace Owens has responded to Erika Kirk's recent media appearances defending Turning Point USA and addressing what Kirk calls "conspiracy theories" about Charlie Kirk's assassination. Owens doesn't hold back, immediately noting that Kirk will name-check her during an upcoming town hall with Bari Weiss, information Owens' team obtained from recordings of the event.
The conflict centers on Kirk's strategy of making the rounds on major media outlets while simultaneously claiming she doesn't have time to address questions about her husband's death. Owens points out the contradiction in this approach, noting that Kirk has appeared on Hannity, The Five, Fox and Friends, Outnumbered, Megyn Kelly Live, and sat down with the New York Times. Kirk even flew coast-to-coast to attend Sergio Gor's swearing-in ceremony as ambassador to India, where she delivered a brief tribute to their friendship with Charlie.
The Burial Location Controversy
During an interview with Harris Faulkner on Fox News, Kirk addressed claims by Milo Yiannopoulos and others who assert with certainty that Charlie Kirk has not yet been buried. Kirk's response focused on her desire for privacy regarding the burial location, stating she wants "one thing" that remains sacred to her family. She announced plans to build "the most beautiful memorial" for Charlie at Turning Point USA that will be "museum style" and available for the world to see.
Owens identifies what she calls "Meghan Markle syndrome" in Kirk's approach - wanting privacy when convenient but publicity when beneficial. Owens argues that Kirk cannot have it both ways, especially after previously publishing extremely intimate moments, including video of herself crying over Charlie's casket and images of his body on Instagram. These were deliberate choices to make private moments public, Owens contends, so Kirk cannot now demand complete privacy regarding other aspects of Charlie's death and burial.
Kirk's Defense of Turning Point USA Staff
Kirk delivered an impassioned defense of Turning Point USA employees, comparing herself to Nehemiah building a wall while townspeople called out from below. "I cannot come down. I am busy building," Kirk stated, adding that her silence doesn't mean complacency and insisting that her staff - whom Charlie handpicked and loved - are not "in on" anything nefarious.
Kirk characterized people questioning the official narrative as grieving individuals trying to find answers to something evil. She claimed that whenever her team hears a lead, they send it to authorities, saying "No rock will be unturned" in seeking justice. However, she drew a line when it comes to criticism of her staff, stating that while people can "call me names" and "go down that rabbit hole," going after "the people that I love" crosses a boundary.
Owens Challenges Kirk's Leadership Approach
Owens dismantles Kirk's defense by pointing out that Andrew Kolvet, a Turning Point USA executive, publicly stated he won't entertain any theory suggesting Tyler Robinson didn't murder Charlie Kirk. Owens questions why the organization would close off entire lines of investigation, including the possibility that Robinson's associate Lance Twiggs - who had access to Robinson's rifle, Steam account, text messages, and wore identical shoes to those seen in suspect photos - might have been involved.
Owens characterizes Kirk's response as "an unbelievably emotional response that is absent of any logic," suggesting this demonstrates why many people question whether women are equipped to lead companies. She argues that if Kirk truly cared about her team, she would answer questions and "demystify the entire event" rather than hiding behind emotional appeals and claims of being too busy to address concerns.
The Strategic Framing Problem
Owens identifies Kirk's media appearances as a coordinated PR strategy rather than genuine personal expression. The repeated emphasis on "this is my husband" and "this is my organization" appears designed to position Kirk as both the grieving widow and legitimate CEO, putting critics like Owens "out of position." However, Owens argues this strategy backfires because Kirk lacks the depth of organizational knowledge that would come from years of executive experience, having been portrayed as a traditional wife focused on raising children until Charlie's death.
The criticism extends to Kirk's claim about not having time to address concerns. Owens points out that Kirk has made time for numerous media appearances and cross-country flights but won't sit down to answer substantive questions about the assassination. This selective availability, combined with Turning Point USA's refusal to investigate alternative theories and the many inconsistencies in official statements from organization employees, only increases public suspicion.
Why Turning Point USA Cannot Win This Debate
Owens argues that there is no scenario in which Turning Point USA comes out ahead in this confrontation. Kirk's attempt to deliver what should be a "headshot" to critics - leveraging her position as both widow and CEO to claim superior knowledge and moral authority - instead becomes ammunition for Owens. The emotional appeals and refusal to engage substantively with questions make the organization appear more suspicious rather than less.
The fundamental problem, according to Owens, is that Kirk is being "handled" by PR professionals rather than speaking authentically. The high-level strategic messaging about defending "my husband" and "my organization" doesn't match what would be expected from someone genuinely grieving or from an executive with deep institutional knowledge. Kirk is being positioned as a packaged product designed to shield the organization from scrutiny, but the packaging is transparent enough that people can see through it.
Owens concludes that the solution is simple: answer the questions, provide transparency, and address the legitimate concerns that have emerged. Parading out Charlie Kirk's widow to make emotional appeals while simultaneously refusing to engage with substantive issues will not resolve the controversy. Instead, it ensures that questions about what really happened will continue to grow, and Turning Point USA's credibility will continue to erode.
Video Transcript
All right, here we go. Okay, I just dropped my video a second ago about Erica Kirk going at Candace. And now Candace is going to respond right back to Erica. And so let's do this, dude. Now, I will say this, like this is what uh this is what Candace led off with. All right, before the episode even started, she didn't need to say that the US government's involved in Charlie Kirk. She saw it's a cat fight. Me and this girl been circling each other for years. She knew Charlie wanted me and I knew that I could have been Charlie's blonde baby as long as I wore a blonde wig. What are we talking about? I'm just kidding. Okay, I just mean they're both pretty and they both love Charlie. So, but anyway, so here's what Candace had to say about Erica going after her. >> You're probably seeing the clips, but Erica has gone off on conspiracy theorists. Obviously, every journalist out there is emailing me because it's it's about me. It's indirect, but it's also about me. And don't worry, in case you think it's not about me, she is going to name check me on stage with Barry Weiss on Saturday. How do we know? Because our mommy sllees be everywhere. And they recorded the town hall today. And as soon as the town hall concluded, we got a flutter of emails and what she says about the Egyptian planes. I'm sorry, not going to lie, it's a little suspicious. >> I can't wait to hear what she says. I'm not even going to let her finish because I'm so excited to hear exactly what she says about that. Let's do this. >> And it maybe is not based in reality. Well, we are getting a lot more of Erica Kirk this week. I'll tell you that because she has been doing the rounds in the media really over the last couple of weeks. And she just gave an interview live with Harris Falner on Fox News. >> By the way, uh I'm sure that you guys were wondering, Jesse, have you seen this yet? No, I have not. I have not seen this yet. And by the way, this is one of the craziest ratios I've ever seen. 48,000 likes to 79 down like down votes. That's insanity. I have never seen a ratio that high uh in the in the you know in the good side. Anyway, so no, I have not seen this. I'm going to be reacting as we watch for the very first time and I'm in the mood to make fun of everything. So, let's go. where she finally addressed the quote unquote conspiracy theories. And I have to say this because it's true, but it completely missed the mark for me. I am sorry. It just has. But the good news is that she is now unmmering the water in terms of her intentions with this massive political organization. That's good news truly because we knew Charlie and now we are getting an opportunity to know Erica. Plus, later on in the show, it's knives out for Tucker Carlson. As always, he's trending right now because he has officially waited into the who killed >> and whoa, what the hell just happened? I just wanted to pause it. >> Do >> Okay, sorry. I don't know what just happened, but I wanted to say I did a video about Tucker. You guys probably will have seen it. Um, actually, I might. It does. I don't know there. If you haven't seen it yet, it's coming very, very shortly. tend to focus on the evidence that's in front of us. Obviously, asking questions when a we come up across something that someone has said and it doesn't add up or if they lied, create a list. And you guys were coming after me cuz I was saying, "Look, you can we can write into our imaginations how Erica is thinking or how she's feeling or what she should be wearing, but she hasn't actually said anything yet." Right? That was my stance. She hasn't actually said anything yet. Give her a chance. Okay. And now she is making the rounds uh in the press because Charlie's book is postu humus book is coming out >> also because her handlers told her to and they told her to say this this and this right they already said like you can't take it back. You said that she doesn't even have a device like she wasn't even looking at her phone. So and now she's coming out she's all this is my organization. I'm just saying well sorry >> about the Sabbath and she's speaking about the quote unquote conspiracies as she sits down with a lot of these news anchors. So first and foremost she's sitting down here with Harris Falconer and I just want to show you a couple of clips from this sitdown which is now trending and she begins by addressing the question which has been in the air regarding where Charlie Kirk is buried. That question resurfaced this week in a big way because Milo Yiannopoulos and a few others have asserted with absolute certainty that Charlie has not yet been buried. That's what they're saying. They say they have proof of that. And at first, Harris Faulner is asking about that claim. Take a listen. >> Talk to me about this part of the conspiracies that are out there. This disturbing part that people are trying to guess where Charlie is. Can I have one thing? Can I have one thing? Can my children have one thing? Everything was public. We will be building the most beautiful memorial for my husband at Turning Point USA and it will be for the world to see and it will be spectacular and it will have basically museum style for our charge. Before Candace even says anything about this, I just want to reiterate, okay, I have no idea what Candace is gonna say. I just want to say that the more I thought about this after when I was editing my video that I already that I just put out about this, this is weird, dude. Like, this is super [ __ ] weird. We're doing like this. It's your it's his wife, dude. If there's anyone who should not give a flying [ __ ] about a big m a big museum style whatever it's the mother of his kids like she cares about her you know what I mean like she misses him around the house like this I don't know I just found this the more I thought about it the more kind of bizarre and off-putting I found this I realize they're like she's like you know cosplaying as the CEO of this organization but this is weird >> from my Charlie but can I have one thing. Can my babies have one thing where we hold? >> Hang on. So, you're making a gigantic museum style uh like whatever for him for your Charlie. You know what I mean? It's like that's the opposite of your personal Charlie. Like that like you're you're this is for the whole world, right? I don't know. I mean, which is fine. I'm just saying it's weird that it's her that's talking about. You ever heard a wife of a of someone who died talk about a gigantic global mural for their their spouse? Like that's that's not how it goes. They are thinking about how they miss the little things that they used to do, right? It's little things that set them off. They get into bed and the husband used to always like plug in the phone this way and now it's like, you know what? Like really random things that no one else would understand. Those are the things that set people off or that like make them think of them. And she's like, "We're built." I don't know. It's bizarre. >> It's sacred. Where my husband is laid to rest, where I don't have to be worried about some secular revolutionary coming and destroying my husband's grave while my daughter is sitting there praying. One thing that this is my husband. Yes, he was Charlie Kirk to the world, and I know so many people love my husband, and I am grateful for that. But this is my husband. And by the way, if you think that's not directed at Candace, I caught that on the second viewing also when I was editing where I was just watching it. She's like, "This is my husband. This is my husband." And I was kind of like, "All right." You know, she's talking about whatever. But then I realized afterwards she's talking to Candace. She's talking about Candace and this whole thing, this whole thing is all about Candace. She's talking about Candace and she's like, "This is my husband. This is my husband and this is my organization. What are you doing doing this? You're the other woman. Okay. What are you doing? He's my husband. If I don't want to do this, then why are you doing it? It's a manipulative and very smart strategy actually. Um, but is she actually his wife or were Egyptian planes following them around because she was a beard and some kind of, you know, agent? I'm joking, guys. I'm I'm joking. I'm not I'm not joking. Actually, I have no idea what's going on. Nothing makes sense. The world is a joke. I can't make heads or tails of anything except that Candace looks super [ __ ] pretty with her hair up. That's the only thing that I can take from this entire thing that is real. >> And I want to be able to have one thing left that is sacred to our family, to my in-laws, to my babies, and to my parents. One thing >> and that's this gigantic mural for the rest of the world. That's the one thing you Okay. >> Okay. So on its face, I actually agree with that. I think that when people are being buried and where they're being buried and how their funerals are done, that is that is very private matter. Okay. So objectively, I agree with what she's saying. Okay. But subjectively, because we are dealing with the subject of Erica Kirk, uh, and what transpired immediately following Charlie's assassination, this is going to be read as Megan Markle syndrome. Okay, Megan Markle syndrome, where you want privacy when you want it, but you want publicity whenever you want it. And that just doesn't work. >> That's I hadn't even thought about it like that, but that's like I mean, well, that's exactly what I was saying, though. Kind of. I'm like, I don't get it. You're talking you want private like you want this to be yours but you're building a huge public mural. Like what are you I don't what are you talking about? >> Okay. It doesn't work that way. I honestly think it was said best by Bethany Frankle not related to this situation. Uh Bethany Frankle is on Real Housewives a real um a a a show a a reality show. And she was referring to one of the housewives who lived her life very publicly showcased her marriage was buying tons of Louis Vuitton bags and they had tons of money. And then when the relationship sa uh s soured, the housewife basically asked the public for privacy. And Bethany was like, "No, this isn't how it works." Like, "We were riding with you on the way up. We're riding with you on the way out. You don't get to like pick and choose when you want privacy and when you don't want privacy." And subjectively, as it, you know, in the matter of Erica Kirk, this is the same person who recorded had somebody record her over Charlie Kirk's casket. That was not our business truly. And I can say that decision was made by her and it there is yeah some credence to the claim that everybody grieavves differently. I wouldn't >> okay and I will just say that I actually didn't know that she put that out until two days ago when someone sent me the image of her hand on his hand because they were saying that there's a discrepancy between the size of her hand when it's on that hand versus her hand on Charlie's hand when he's still alive. Okay. Okay. And they were like, "Dude, he's alive." Like that's the only reason. And I was looking at that picture. I'm like, "Who? What the?" Like this is what I'm saying. Like the the grieving was like so public and weird. Like in a way no one would grieve like that. That's why I'm entertaining that he might not even be dead. Dude, no one would behave this way. like not at least not a person who had any and I mean any depth to the love and relationship that they had with their spouse like if there's one thing in the world that I know about that is it okay like I know what it means to have like a genuinely like deep connection with your spouse that a person outside of ours like they can look and they can tell you what I mean like they could watch our show as a matter of fact if you don't watch uh play with matches the link is in the description. That's the show that I do with her. Like, anybody can watch it and just be like, "Oh, okay. These like these two are still really into each other." We've been married for 17 [ __ ] years. That was our anniversary yesterday. 17 years. And I still think she's the most the the hottest [ __ ] thing I've ever seen. And that's that's one of a million things I love about her. Like, you know, then the idea that if something like that happened to her that I would be like, "Okay, guys, I'm going to go on stage and here's how we're going to listen. I want to frame the picture like this. Now, make sure you send these emails. It's [ __ ] It's absurd. Never happened. Okay. I would be destroyed by that. Destroyed by that. And uh yeah, I don't know. The whole It's just weird, you know. It's weird. Didn't >> even record myself over a casket ever. Okay. Some people maybe perhaps want to have that memory. But the decision to publish that, you crying over your husband's casket and to publish his dead body on Instagram was a decision that was made by Erica. And we can watch that. Take a look. >> Oh, I love you. >> Oh my god. I've never seen this, by the way. I had only seen still photos. I had never seen this. And literally, I'm telling you right now, my skin just started to crawl already. What the [ __ ] is this? Okay, I am telling you right now like again I this is something I know about and I and I've never seen this standing over the the corpse of my wife. Okay, like even thinking about it while on camera, I can barely even like start like my sh like I like you're streaming. It is unfathomable. >> I love you. I love you. I know. I love >> She's kissing a stiff cold hand right there. If that's a real body like a Do you Okay. You guys ever like interacted with a dead body like one in this situation? You feel that there's nothing and there's nothing there. The soul is gone. It's the It's like It's devastating. It's devastating if it's a person that you loved. >> I loves you so much. >> I love you. >> I love you. God bless you. Those hands are wrong, dude. They're right. These guys are right, man. They sent me something about how the hands were all wrong and that the hand size was wrong. And in the still picture, it's not it wasn't that obvious. I was like, "Oh, maybe it's an out angle thing." Those hands are the same size. >> That is incredibly personal. >> What is that? What on earth? What the [ __ ] was that, dude? What on earth was that? I've never seen that, dude. What the What was that? That is the craziest thing I've ever seen. Who is filming that? WHO IS FILMING? WHO FILMED THAT? NO. That close. No one would have permission to do that. No one in a real s, no one would be like, "Hey, like, hey, I'm gonna I I'm just going to film you up there, you know, with your I I want to film how this goes for you." That is that is insane. It's insane. You know, how insanely invasive that would be for someone to do that. And if she per like if she was like, "Yeah, go ahead and film it." I would be like, "Jesus, that's that chick has no soul. That's the craziest thing I've ever seen. which again I think it's not real >> and an incredibly intimate moment. An intimate moment that you invited the public into. Okay. You you that there's there was no reason to do that outside of wanting to share something that was very private with the public and now you fast forward 3 months removed and it's why why does the public want to know where where he's buried? It doesn't work like that. You you have to make a decision. I want this always to be private or I want this always to be public. >> She is being very respectful by the way. Like ve listen she okay I can triangulate the energy that would be going in that direction if this then that if this then that if this you know what I mean like and so the way that she is talking to Erica she this is 100% out of respect for Charlie. like she's going very easy. Like she's going really easy on her right here and she's intentionally like speaking to her respectfully because just she is >> that's that's my personal feedback there. Later on in this same interview, she launches into a strong defense of Turning Point USA employees who have just as a matter of fact told many lies, many inconsistencies. These are verifiable. So they are currently lying to the public or they have lied to the public. But she is going to deliver quite an impassioned defense regarding these particular individuals and the organization as a whole. And I want you to hear her passion. Take a listen. >> What are they taking from you right now? >> Nothing. But I will tell you what they are doing. It reminds me so much of chapter 6 in the book of Nehemiah. He is building a wall and the town's people are at the base of that hill saying Nehemiah calling him all these names, saying all these things, come on down. Every single time he had the same message four times in a row, I cannot come down. I am busy building. That is how I feel. I do not have time to address the noise. My silence does not mean that I am complacent. Mhm. >> My silence does not mean that somehow Turning Point USA and all of the handpicked staff that loved my husband and my husband loved them is somehow in on it. We are busy building. And you know what I thought? I thought these people are human. We are all grieving in our own way and they are trying to find the answer to something that happened that was so evil. They are trying so hard. And I get that. We're doing the same. Anytime we hear a lead or anytime we hear anything, we send it to the authorities. Please dig into this. No. >> What kind of lead are we talking about though? Like elaborate. I'm I'm genuinely curious. Like what what lead have you heard that you're asking them to go chase down? Because you guys, and in case I have not shown this in any of the other videos that uh that I showed today, like Andrew Kovit said he won't entertain any theory suggesting Tyler Robinson didn't murder Charlie Kirk. Oh, you won't? Why not? Like, no theory that he didn't do it. What if the uh what if the little twink lover the or the the uh trans furry lover did it? Won't even think about it, huh? Won't even look at it. He's in two different outfits, right? You got Oh, here here's uh here's whatever his name's Tyler Robinson right here. He's in this outfit and then over here he's in this outfit. He he must have changed clothes. Oh, not possible that his little lover who looks identical to him in a hat couldn't have been both of them, you know? Couldn't have been both of them. Tyler Robinson couldn't be taking the rap for Lance Tweets. And by the way, I'm just going lowest hanging possible fruit of like you're just not even you're not interested in any of that. What if Tyler didn't do it? What if the other kid did it? Have you looked at the picture? Have you looked at my video where I showed that the guy in the picture is wearing the exact shoes that Lance Twigs is wearing in a bunch of different pictures. The suspect is wearing shoes that look like Tyler Robinson's shoes but aren't his shoes. What they are is identical to Lance Twigs shoes. And Lance Twigs had access to his rifle, had access to his Steam account, had access to his text messages, had access to seriously every single thing that you are taking for granted that Tyler Robinson was responsible for. All of it. Okay? All of it. And you have guys who look who, you know, you can't see who they are in two different outfits. Oh yeah, the same guy. They're exactly the same height, same build, same everything. And you got this guy who lost his virginity to this freak skitso guy six months ago. You don't think maybe he would just take the rap and like or or or if the rumors are true, he has no idea why they think it's him. You won't even look at another thing. You won't look at a single thing that says Tyler Robinson didn't do it. Okay? I'm not asking you to say that like the Israeli prime minister ordered it and had the Ukrainians come do it, but you won't look at nothing. Like that's not Cabela. You don't want you don't want to hear if whether whether they jump the gun and they're like Tyler Robinson in one day after I in I I investigated just that theory for a month, dude, with my boy who's insane. He does nothing but research, dude. Okay. It is impossible impossible that the FBI has done more work on that theory than we have. You won't even look at it. It's [ __ ] stupid, man. >> No rock will be unturned. I want justice for my husband, for myself, for my family more than anyone else out there. So for me, you want to keep telling me to come down while we're we're building. I don't have time for that. >> But here's my breaking point on that. Come after me. Call me names. I don't care. Call me what you want. Go down that rabbit hole, whatever. But when you go after my family, my Turning Point USA family, my Charlie Kirk show family, when you go after the people that I love, and you're making hundreds and thousands of dollars every single episode going after the people that I love because somehow they're in on this. >> What if they were making money extracting from your husband's organization? Why are we acting like she was an executive in this company and wouldn't know any of this stuff? Do you know what I mean? Like she like how would you know what was going on there before Charlie? That's why I'm saying why is she the CEO? She was a trad wife five minutes ago. Was that not true? Was she secretly working as an executive this whole time? Because I thought Charlie was the one who does that stuff and she was the wife raising the kids or whatever. Cuz if that's the case, how would you know what anyone was doing? Not saying necessarily that those guys on the Charlie Kirk show were doing whatever, but this is a organization that had $100 million running through it a year. Okay. There's Robin going on. Okay. As sure as there is a sky that is above us that you will be able to see tomorrow when you wake up. Okay. Well, whatever. Bad example. As long as assuming gravity exists, okay, someone's robbing that place because someone's always robbing it, dude. No, >> I'm sorry, but that that whole thing right there is frustrating, and I'm going to explain to you why. I just I just do not accept any of that. First and foremost, the idea that she does not have time. Okay, she definitely has time. Okay, she's done Hannity, she's done the five, she's done Fox and Friends, she's done outnumbered, she's done Megan Kelly Live, she sat down with the New York Times. She made time, by the way, in case you don't remember, to fly to DC for Sergio Gore to be sworn into the ambassador to India as as the ambassador to India, which feels kind of obscure and not necessarily related to Turning Point USA affairs, building affairs or whatever it is. But sure, that's fine. I mean, obviously, you're also allowed to be a person if that's the homie and that's what you want to do. Sure. But we are indeed speaking about a a coast to coast flight to stand up to next to somebody and basically say Charlie Charlie loved you. That was like the whatever 15-second speech that she gave. Right. Here's here's actually we have a clip of that speech that she gave. >> Well, he was also very good friends with a guy named Charlie. We just knew him as Charlie and his uh wife who we love so much is here with us. And maybe uh you know how close they were together. But maybe Erica, you could say a couple of words, please. >> An honor to, sir. Charlie loved you. It's hard not to get emotional because I know that he would have been the first phone call when he found out that you were going to be taking this position. And the way that I was able to witness the two of you work together for years and to champion and support the president was absolutely humbling to witness. And I am so proud of you. and Charlie is going to be with you every single day um in spirit and I will be praying for you every day because I know that this is just the beginning of an incredible opportunity for you and and sir, thank you for um allowing Sergio to have this beautiful moment. >> Thank you very much. Thank you. >> That's just an ambassador to India swearing in ceremony. Again, if that's your friend, you want to be there, that makes sense. You're she's also a person um and she can decide what she what she wants to do there. But the point that I am making is that's a coastal flight that she made to be there to watch a paper get signed. She has also made time for an upcoming CBS News town hall sit down with Barry Weiss which was filmed today. So Erica Kirk has time. She has time. It is just what she means to say not her priority which is you are allowed to prioritize things in your own life but the this is not a matter of time constraint. It is not her priority to respond to the majority. Actually, the majority of people think of this as BS. The majority of people think Turning Point is acting suspicious and she does not feel that it is what she wants to do um as a matter of priority responding. Now, I just realized I had been do like that video had already been going for or this video had already been going for uh 26 minutes and so I got to like push it forward a little bit or I'm not going to be able to get to some stuff. So, I pushed it forward a little bit and what she is talking about is how Erica, you know, being like, "Now you're coming after my family is like she's trying to shield everyone from critique because she's like this is my family now. I he's my husband and they're with me under my family." And Candace is critiquing this. is like you well you can't do that right like they are not above critique >> that's fam that's the CK show fam oh I'm sorry uh we are actually pointing to the fact that we know for certain that this person your organization is a sexual deviant uh uh uh that's fam that's my bad is my don't you get me upset I know that this is a now $150 million in the last threemonth organization and we employ tons of people but You can't you can't critique you can't critique the fam. And I hate to say this, but I'm going to be very clear here. This is why there are many people who do not believe that women are equipped to lead companies because what you are watching here is an unbelievably emotional response that is absent of any logic. >> Okay, that is amazing. And I'll tell you exactly why. Okay, first of all, that is such a like a that's such an intentional like oh that's the first one where she's just like oh really you want to roll? You want to play? Okay, this is why you can't have women because this is a really emotional. It's not that. Okay, like it's actually not an emotional response at all. Because this is not Erica Kirk who is doing this, okay? Like if you want you want to say, "Oh, like you know, Jesse's pretty good at reading poker faces. What's going on?" Simple, dude. She's being she's being handled. This is straight up PR. And Candace knows that. Candace is as good at this as me, at least. Well, she much better than me at lots of the stuff, but like in terms of look or what's going on, she knows, dude. She knows. She knows Erica Kirk is not just like, "Hey guys, I'm doing this on my own. I'm going to go on a press tour and all of these thoughts are mine, okay? Like we need, hey Erica, we need you to step out front as a CEO and you need to say he is my husband. This is my husband." That's way too highle strategy for her to just have thought of it like that is a she is a packaged boxed thing. Okay, that's what Erica is. And so they put her out there to deliver that message. That's the big message is why are you doing this when this is my organization and this was my husband. You are out of position here. And if it came off just a little bit more genuine, it would land super heavy. You know what I mean? It would land super heavy. But like Candace is being like, "This is why you don't let women uh lead organizations." She's like, "You want to play that? You want to play the I'm the executive. All right. Well, I'll play it back as if you really were an executive and you're being emotional and you do not look like a good leader to me." That is uh that is very impressive. Very impressive. >> If you really care about your team, answer the questions, okay? Just demystify the entire event. Answer, come out, sit down, answer the questions so people don't think Turning Point USA looks so suspicious. >> Did I not tell you guys? Okay. Like now, can you I'm sorry, Candace. Let me get that off. >> Don't try to >> Sorry. Uh do you remember what I said? I was like, it's not going to matter who's right or wrong. Okay. There's nothing TPUSA is going to be able to do in this debate where she's not going to eat them, dude. There's nothing they can do. This is exactly what I was talking about. This is exactly what I was talking about. Okay? Like, you parade out Charlie Kirk's wife, who is the CEO of the company, and deliver what should be a head shot to anyone listening to Candace. He's my husband, and I'm telling you, I have more information than you. So, what are you doing? He's my husband. This is my organization. I'm the CEO. Okay. You are doing what exactly? Why are you doing that? It should be a head shot. Okay. And what it ends up being is Candace eats them with it. She eats it. She eats them anyway. She's eating them with this. Okay. There is nothing that TPUSA can do in a debate with Candace where they will come out winning. Like they will not win. They can't win. It's a m like all I do is record videos and do jiu-jitsu. Okay? Like when the thing that I love most about jiu-jitsu is it's the one martial art. Well, most I mean most martial arts actually fall into this category also. But like when you're talking about like kickboxing as an example, okay, somebody who's like a midlevel kickboxer and someone who's like a beginner, there is always going to be a wing in a prayer, you know, like somebody throws just like a, you know, they all they they figured out this one kick and bang and they're like and the person gets hit and they're done. You know what I mean? Like they win the fight. Like jiu-jitsu, if you are significantly better than a person, they have no chance. Like there, you could fight them 10,000 times and you are going to win 10,000 times or they're you're going to lose 10,000 times. There's no scenario. None. Absolutely none outside of you falling down and breaking your your arm on your own accord where you're going to lose. And that is what we're talking about here when you're talking about an argument between Candace and anyone that they could put up from TPUSA now that Charlie's gone. That's just what it is, dude. Okay. Um, and the other best thing about jiu-jitsu is the way the fight ends is you tap out and you say, "I'm quitting. I'm quitting. I'm quitting." But if there are no tapouts, if you're out in the street, the way it ends is you strangle them to death and there is nothing they can do about it. Nothing. like nothing. They have to just sit there and hope that you'll let go. Or you shatter their arm or you shatter their leg or you twist their heel and you shatter every single ligament in their knee or you break the hinge on their elbow, which I actually saw happen to a 12-year-old girl uh a couple months ago uh live in a on in a competition match right next to my daughter. Um that was nuts, man. Nonetheless, um go learn jiu-jitsu. It's like a superpower, dude. It really is. Unless you run into somebody who's more trained than you are. And if you train for six, seven, eight years, it's going to be very rare outside of your gym that you run into anyone who can even sniff your experience. And so, you go into anything, anything in your life, you know, like I'm not going out and getting into street fights, but guess what? You know, if someone ever wants to find out the hard way and they don't have significant jiu-jitsu training, significant jiu-jitsu training, they're going to find out like, "Oh, my life is in his hands. He is literally going to do with me whatever he wants. If he wants to hurt me, he's going to hurt me. If he wants to kill me, he's going to kill me. If he wants to make this, like if he just wants to hold me here like a baby and just whisper little sweet nothings in my ear while I can't do anything. I cannot struggle. Nothing. I can't move." That is exactly what's going to happen. It's like a superpower. So if you don't like the idea of other people being able to do that to you in certain situations without, you know, and you having no choice, go train. That's what I did, dude. I was way late when I started. Super late. Crazy late. All I did was I was like, do will the version of me that would, you know, like when Jazelle is in high school and she's a 16-year-old, will that version of me want to be a black belt any less than I do right now before I even started? That's the vision that got me there is I was like nope. I just thought about myself then and I was like and no one can keep me from that as long as I just go. You just got to go. You just go train. Except you got to train like all the time for like 10 years. But uh I am over halfway there. So yeah, when it happens people be like dude I remember when you were a white belt. I'd be like I know. What were you doing? Like you could have done the exact same thing. There's no there's no reason to not start tomorrow. And at six blades, you if you're in Austin, okay, you can be you want to be friends with Jesse on fire, that like you want to be my friend in person, that is not a challenging thing to do at all. All you have to do is just move to Austin or if you're in Austin, join my gym, Six Blades headquarters, and train all the time because you will meet, you will be hanging out all the time. We'll be collaborating on jiu-jitsu. You will have the opportunity to try to strangle me. Although if you're new, that will never happen. Never. Never. If I've got, you know, five plus years of uh concentrating uh experience on you, it's going to take a long time before uh you have a chance. But if you train hard, you'll get there. You know, I'll plateau at some point. Not anytime soon, though. So, but I will just add, okay, I will just add that Austin is the jiu-jitsu capital of the world now. And uh there are maybe like I don't even know like a handful of teams that are elite world class and mine is one of them. Mine is one of them. Like hall of fame primary and uh number one heavyweight in the world. I guess technically number two or three heavyweight in the world now. But the guy who's technically number one he'll beat if they fight again. Long story. [laughter] More information than you needed. But uh you will never find a more uh prestigious academy than this one. And you will never find a better culture than ours. So that's what it is, man. Come join. I don't know how I ended up on, you know, doing a Six Blades commercial here, but uh you know, and for any of you people who uh you know, might be like, "Oh, now I know where Jesse on Fire is." I have a lot of guns on me all the time, dude. And there's everyone at headquarters is carrying. So, that would be a bad place to try to, you know, like unless you want to get me so bad that you don't care if you also die, you know, but like let's just not do that. It'd be cooler for us to be friends. Don't come shoot me, okay? Don't shoot me. I don't want to die. And I don't want to kill anyone either. No, I
