[16:56] how important do you think the

[16:58] president's early decision was to ban

[17:00] travel from China in January to stop the

[17:02] spread of the corona virus make no

[17:04] mistake the president's decisions who

[17:07] close off travel from China saved tens

[17:09] of thousands if not hundreds of

[17:10] thousands of American lives he did it on

[17:13] pure instinct and we have learned over

[17:15] the last couple years when President

[17:17] Trump acts on instinct the American

[17:20] people benefit and he saves lives Joe

[17:22] Biden called him xenophobic the media

[17:24] went out of their way to attack the

[17:26] president for doing the correct thing to

[17:28] seal off our borders and to prevent

[17:31] travel from the epicenter of this virus

[17:33] what's so amazing about this Laura is

[17:35] that we actually didn't know how

[17:36] infectious this disease was this was

[17:39] President Trump

[17:40] acting on instinct acting on evidence of

[17:43] him as a businessperson him as a leader

[17:45] that cares about the American people and

[17:47] he made a rational decision saying that

[17:50] if it actually is worse than they're

[17:52] saying it is and I don't close off

[17:54] travel we could have something that is

[17:56] so beyond exponentially worse that we

[17:58] might not be able to recover from it and

[18:00] so this I think this entire Chinese

[18:02] coronavirus and the entire narrative

[18:04] around it actually validates everything

[18:07] the president has been talking about the

[18:09] last couple years I talked about this in

[18:10] my book the Magid doctrine which

[18:12] President Trump has talked about how

[18:14] these international globalist

[18:16] organizations like the World Health

[18:18] Organization like the United Nations

[18:20] like TPP like the Paris climate Accord

[18:23] more times than not are not representing

[18:25] the interests of the American people he

[18:28] was

[18:28] alaa dated the World Health Organization

[18:29] lied to the world and worked with the

[18:31] Chinese Communist Party to cover-up this

[18:33] virus and did not tell us the truth

[18:35] about it and in most critical days where

[18:37] lives could have been saved the

[18:39] president has also talked about sane and

[18:41] rational immigration policy you look at

[18:44] him closing off the borders in late

[18:46] January validates the decision now we

[18:49] know how infectious the disease actually

[18:52] is so I think that this is reinforces

[18:55] the magid doctrine it reinforced what

[18:56] the president has been talking about for

[18:58] so many years and you contrast that with

[19:00] the other side what Joe Biden and all

[19:02] the other Democrats believe in and

[19:04] obviously we can get into that you know

[19:06] throughout this broadcast but the

[19:07] president's has been looking out for the

[19:10] best interest the American people and

[19:12] today Americans can thank our president

[19:15] that he closed off travel from China

[19:18] despite the chatter and despite the

[19:20] backlash from the media that called them

[19:23] all the worst names you can possibly

[19:24] call somebody yeah well that's how they

[19:26] operate charlie we all know that you

[19:29] actually just mentioned the World Health

[19:30] Organization and in one of your tweets

[19:32] you actually said that China said the

[19:34] United States should fulfill its

[19:37] obligation to the World Health

[19:38] Organization and restore funding I mean

[19:41] I don't think anybody should be

[19:43] listening to China on this why do you

[19:45] think that it was so important that the

[19:47] president took this step to stop funding

[19:50] until further review of the World Health

[19:52] Organization well mean it's critical I

[19:55] mean look the World Health Organization

[19:56] is similar to a lot of these other

[19:57] organizations and these entities that

[20:00] the United States disproportionately

[20:02] funded versus the rest of the world and

[20:04] yet we pay them to criticize us and not

[20:07] represent the interests of the American

[20:09] people look it took the president

[20:11] courage to freeze all funding and halt

[20:13] all funding to the World Health

[20:15] Organization we fund them to try to

[20:17] prevent pandemics like the one that

[20:19] we're going through right now

[20:20] and if the World Health Organization was

[20:22] an impartial neutral organization that

[20:25] cared about the well-being of the

[20:27] citizens of the globe then they would

[20:29] have done a public press conference the

[20:31] day they saw an outbreak happening in

[20:34] Wuhan instead for six days they helped

[20:37] the Chinese Communist Party cover up the

[20:39] spread of the virus until it was not

[20:42] able to be covered up anymore those six

[20:43] days could have saved more lives those

[20:45] six days could have given Italian

[20:47] officials the opportunity to shut off

[20:49] travel from China and so look the World

[20:51] Health Organization is very similar to a

[20:53] lot of these global compacts that the

[20:55] president has rightfully criticized the

[20:58] president on pure instinct for many

[21:00] decades asked the rational and correct

[21:02] and objective question why are we

[21:04] bankrupting our own country why are we

[21:07] sending our tax dollars overseas to a

[21:10] group of elites that do not love America

[21:12] that do not represent America that

[21:14] actually a lot of times we're sending it

[21:16] to an organization to oppose the

[21:18] interest of the American people this is

[21:20] why the prezi United States won

[21:22] decisively in 2016 this is why voters

[21:24] rose up for the historic election

[21:27] throughout a couple years ago why

[21:28] they're gonna do it again

[21:29] in November which is they felt like

[21:31] correctly that our own tax dollars and

[21:34] our futures were being sent around the

[21:36] world meanwhile we saw decay happen

[21:38] domestically and the president United

[21:40] States deserve so much credit for guess

[21:42] what he said he was gonna renegotiate

[21:44] NAFTA he did he said he was gonna get

[21:46] out of the Paris climate Accord he did

[21:48] he said he was gonna get NATO to pay

[21:50] their fair share he did he said he was

[21:51] gonna get the UN to pay their fair share

[21:53] he did he said using that of the TPP he

[21:55] did he said he was gonna challenge

[21:57] organizations like the World Health

[21:58] Organization he did he said he was gonna

[22:00] cancel the Iran deal he did amazing what

[22:02] he's been able to do and you look

[22:04] America is in a much more competitive

[22:05] and stronger place because the president

[22:08] has defended our sovereignty against

[22:11] these international globalist

[22:12] organizations that more times than not

[22:14] seem determined to disenfranchise the

[22:17] interests of the American people yeah

[22:22] example of why the people in 2016 voted

[22:25] for Donald Trump he's doing exactly what

[22:29] leveling the playing field he's calling

[22:41] since day one of Donald Trump being

[23:25] Democrat leadership have been behaving

[23:36] well you bring up some brilliant and

[23:38] terrific points and so you just look at

[23:40] the governors who the governor witmer

[23:41] for example in Michigan who has gone so

[23:44] far beyond the CDC guidelines to

[23:47] basically institute the most draconian

[23:50] nonsensical and arbitrary rules that you

[23:53] can't go from neighborly house to house

[23:55] that you can't go to your second house

[23:56] in Michigan and she has also deemed

[23:59] abortion a life-saving service which is

[24:02] it's just so so ironic backwards wrong

[24:06] and I would argue just in complete

[24:08] defiance of reality in the facts and you

[24:10] also look up to your point of Nancy

[24:12] Pelosi while this virus was spreading

[24:14] while this pandemic was spreading do you

[24:17] know who in the House of Representatives

[24:18] is supposed to be reading the Intel

[24:20] reports supposed to be keeping a finger

[24:22] on the pulse who was supposed to be

[24:23] communicating with the agencies the

[24:26] chairman of the House Intelligence

[24:27] Committee do you know what the chairman

[24:29] of the House Intelligence Committee was

[24:30] doing he was a little distracted he was

[24:32] practicing in front of the mirror his

[24:34] primetime and cable television

[24:36] appearances while he was in front of the

[24:39] United States Senate against a sham

[24:41] impeachment this is such an important

[24:43] point Laura because when look there's

[24:44] only so many hours in day we all

[24:45] recognize that but when congressman Adam

[24:47] Schiff the top of his list was making

[24:50] sure that he was enunciated his words

[24:52] correctly while he was just gallivanting

[24:55] essentially trying to galavant around

[24:57] this idea of impeaching Donald Trump

[24:59] instead of doing his job and maybe

[25:01] saying oh wow there's an outbreak of an

[25:03] infectious disease in China which

[25:04] Senator Tom cotton rightfully pointed

[25:07] out and he was cast

[25:09] gated by the American media for and he

[25:11] was attacked for it

[25:12] congressman Adam Schiff and Nancy Pelosi

[25:14] the entire Democrat leadership included

[25:16] including Jerry Nadler they were in the

[25:18] US Senate trying to convince u.s.

[25:20] senators to impeach Donald Trump

[25:22] so while President Trump was shutting

[25:24] off travel while President Donald

[25:25] Trump's allies in the US Congress were

[25:27] trying to tell the truth about this

[25:30] virus and trying to say that this virus

[25:31] actually might harm the American economy

[25:33] American people the Democrats were

[25:35] putting politics above the American

[25:37] people and one final point on this at

[25:45] not have not approved additional small

[26:19] Democrats do not care about the

[26:21] well-being of the American people

[26:24] country it is despicable and it's a

[26:26] disgrace and it validates the president

[31:44] president but why do you think Joe Biden

[31:49] younger generation because you speak

[31:51] with the youth of this country very very

[31:53] frequently Charlie the peep the youth of

[31:56] this country needs to understand why

[31:57] would Joe Biden be absolutely the wrong

[32:00] choice for president as we head towards

[32:03] November 3rd of this year it's a great

[32:06] point in fact I think President Trump

[32:08] has an opportunity to do better in the

[32:10] youth vote segments into a youth vote

[32:13] bracket than any other Republican

[32:14] president recent memory if not the best

[32:16] since Ronald Reagan and I make the

[32:18] argument that he can even win some of

[32:20] the 18 to 24 demographic in certain

[32:23] states look Joe Biden as I mentioned is

[32:25] confused and incredibly corrupt not to

[32:27] mention there's also a lot of questions

[32:29] about things he's been doing the last

[32:30] couple decades and it'll be many months

[32:32] to to speak about that but I will say

[32:34] this younger voters they want a

[32:36] president who is authentic and who

[32:38] delivered delivers results see the

[32:40] American people

[32:41] everything that young people think is

[32:44] broken about our political system

[32:45] it's thanks to Joe Biden you combine Joe

[32:47] Biden ANSI Pelosi and Chuck Schumer's

[32:49] over a hundred years of congressional

[32:51] representation and leadership in our own

[32:55] US Congress was America becoming more

[32:57] competitive and stronger under their

[32:59] decisions of course not Joe Biden is a

[33:01] typical DC ruling-class politician he's

[33:04] similar to Hillary Clinton the only

[33:06] difference instead of laundering money

[33:08] through a crime foundation like she did

[33:10] he actually had a son going actually to

[33:12] the business deals himself younger

[33:15] voters want a president who is decisive

[33:17] someone with a clear vision to bring our

[33:19] country back to greatness I'll tell you

[33:22] community and who runs students for

[33:24] Trump through our organization

[33:28] are seeing a huge revival of young

[33:30] conservatives on college campuses here's

[33:33] some cool facts as of today we have

[33:35] triple the amount of students for Trump

[33:37] groups than students for Biden and we

[33:39] had more students for Trump groups than

[33:41] students for Bernie Sanders on college

[33:43] campuses and it's only going to grow our

[33:45] full-time staff a turning-point action

[33:46] through the project students for Trump

[33:48] we have 15 full-time staff on the ground

[33:50] registering voters well if not doing a

[33:52] lot of registering right now out for

[33:53] obvious reasons but as soon as they're

[33:55] allowed to get back on the ground that's

[33:56] gonna continue to expand I would much

[33:58] rather run up against corrupt and

[34:00] clueless than authentic and free stuff

[34:02] if it was Bernie Sanders there are so

[34:04] many young people that supported Bernie

[34:06] Sanders that will not vote at all and

[34:07] they will keep an open mind to vote for

[34:10] president Trump and if I if I were to

[34:13] suggest how we do our messaging we have

[34:15] to be incredibly aggressive against Joe

[34:17] Biden and the political ruling class

[34:19] standard that he wants to keep going in

[36:34] more equitable and fair there are still

[36:36] a lot of universities that go out of

[36:37] their way throughout a silence free

[36:39] speech and try to prevent our

[36:41] turning-point USA groups and our

[36:42] students for Trump groups from being

[36:44] able to form and being able to recruit

[36:47] similar to how there is an oppositional

[36:49] media that continues to put forth fake

[36:57] that hold these Marxist anti-american

[36:59] ideas that are trying to essentially

[37:02] indoctrinate future generations we see

[37:04] so many 18 19 and 20 year-olds waking up

[37:06] to the reality that they have not been

[37:08] given the full picture and this is why I

[37:10] think President Trump has a huge

[37:11] opportunity to win the youth vote and I

[37:13] could tell you we did a huge campus tour

[37:15] back in the fall we weren't able to

[37:17] finish our campus tour this this

[37:19] semester for obvious reasons but we did

[37:21] that campus tour you joined me at North

[37:23] Carolina State University Laura your

[37:24] alma mater and you saw it firsthand we

[37:26] had more students outside wanted to get

[37:29] into the event and we were even able to

[37:31] have into the room we had a packed room

[37:33] 2,000 students at least and the same

[37:36] could be said we went to Colorado State

[37:37] University University of Iowa University

[37:38] of New Hampshire there is a movement

[37:41] going on college campuses and of course

[37:43] we focus a lot of our attention on the

[37:44] professor's the administration and

[37:46] left-wing activists that scream at us

[37:47] and throw things I think when you and I

[37:49] went to North Carolina State University

[37:50] together and you were wonderful by the

[37:52] way there was a couple people protesting

[37:54] but that's all just noise that's gonna

[37:55] happen no matter what what gives me hope

[37:57] and optimism are the students that come

[37:59] with an open mind that are persuaded

[38:01] that are convinced that are convicted to

[38:03] go vote for Donald Trump that are

[38:05] convicted to go think in a conservative

[38:07] fashion thanks to the outreach that

[38:08] we're doing and everyone listened to

[38:10] this broadcast I want you to know that

[38:12] there is this revolution happen

[38:13] the younger generation the left will

[38:15] offer offer no solutions

[38:17] they'll only offer blame for your

[38:19] problems and you can see Joe Biden I

[38:21] think deep down Democrats and young

[38:23] Democrats in particular know that Joe

[38:25] Biden is not not the best not the choice

[38:28] at all for president of States they know

[38:30] that he's corrupt they know that he's

[38:32] confused they know he starts to

[38:33] figurehead for the Democrat cartel that

[38:38] continue to represent the best interest

[38:40] of our generation and our country well

[38:52] campus off campus get involved we've

[38:55] seen though Charlie that you have been

[38:58] really intense videos you've been

[39:00] treated pretty poorly at some of these

[39:02] schools you have people yelling at you

[39:04] but you always fight back and you fight

[39:07] back with facts if you had to talk to a

[39:10] student out there who felt like they

[39:13] were conservative they wanted to learn

[39:15] more but they were afraid maybe just

[39:17] speak out on their college campus what

[39:20] would you say to them how would you

[39:21] encourage that person yeah I know it's

[39:23] tough I mean you might be kicked out of

[39:24] fraternities and sororities you might

[39:26] lose friends because you come out as a

[39:27] conservative or a trump supporter that's

[39:30] why I encourage people to join Turning

[39:31] Point USA or started students for Trump

[39:33] chapter there are more of us than they

[39:35] will ever give us credit for the left is

[39:37] decreasing in number but increasing in

[39:40] volume they are increasing in their

[39:42] intolerance of conservative values

[39:44] perspectives and ideas but I'll tell you

[39:46] what the left has emotion we have facts

[39:49] logic reason history analytical thinking

[39:52] and we are truly tolerant we will let

[39:54] them we will fight to the death for

[39:56] their right to be wrong yet they want to

[39:58] do whatever they possibly can to shut us

[40:00] up or to silence us and we are on the

[40:01] winning side of this debate and this

[40:04] dialogue and I'll tell you for young

[40:05] people that are worried and that have

[40:07] been punished and bullied for their

[40:09] conservative beliefs we have your back

[40:11] we experience it you mentioned some of

[40:14] the videos where I go straight into the

[40:15] anti-trump mobs or they are throwing

[40:17] stuff where they are yelling the worst

[40:18] things you could possibly say I know

[40:20] your ground you are not alone you are on

[40:23] the side of truth you are defending

[40:25] Western civilization in our country and

[40:27] the

[40:27] is a battle we are going to win yeah you

[40:29] got that right well thanks for all that

[40:32] you're doing with that Charlie I know

[40:33] it's not easy it takes a lot of guts to

[40:35] get out there and put yourself you know

[40:38] in the middle of things like you do but

[40:40] but you're so amazing at it and we

[40:42] appreciate everything that you do out

[40:48] to do their part out there to stop the

[40:50] spread of coronavirus I know that you

[40:52] travel all the time generally speaking

[40:54] how has life changed for you how are you

[40:57] managing are you staying sane what's

[40:58] going on with you these days well I yeah

[41:01] it's actually the most stationary I've

[41:03] been since high school though it's the

[41:06] longest I've not been on a plane since

[41:08] high school which look everything can be

[41:10] turned into a blessing and it has been

[41:11] you know we've been really focusing on

[41:12] our podcast which everyone should

[41:18] been a different time to be in our

[41:20] country that's for sure but we're

[41:22] adapting and we're entrepreneurs here

[41:30] reopens we are going to be in a better

[41:32] position than ever before to play off

[41:34] into the sense of urgency to win

[41:38] victimhood and I think that there's a

[41:40] lot of leftists out there they're

[41:41] actually enjoying seeing people sit at

[41:43] home do nothing

[41:44] and I think that there's a lot of

[41:45] eagerness and pent-up demand as our

[41:47] great president says to get our economy

[41:49] roaring again but yeah it's been

[41:50] different

[41:51] I've been definitely reading a lot more

[41:53] than definitely having some time to

[41:55] really reflect on how the last couple

[41:57] years have been but also plan for a

[41:59] successful election come this November
